THE MATRIX 1999
This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Note
which streaming service has the most vintage movies? If you don't know, maybe your followers could answer? 🙏
Ooh hoo hoo you asked and I'll answer!!
I actually made a post like this for the hot men tournament, but I can't find it now so I'll do it again from scratch. The short answer is that I don't know of any one streaming service that has all the old vintage movies—but most streaming services have a "classics" genre category that can get you started. Here's a small selection of what you can find on different streaming services:
TUBI (free):
The Adventures of Robin Hood (Olivia de Havilland)
A Streetcar Named Desire (Vivien Leigh)
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Jane Powell, Julie Newmar)
North by Northwest (Eva Marie Saint)
The Music Man (Shirley Jones)
The Women (Norma Shearer, Rosalind Russell, Joan Crawford, Joan Fontaine, Paulette Goddard, several other hotties in small parts)
The Philadelphia Story (Katharine Hepburn, Ruth Hussey)
Notorious (Ingrid Bergman)
Bell, Book, and Candle (Kim Novak, Elsa Lanchester)
The Talk of the Town (Jean Arthur)
Dark Victory (Bette Davis)
Stray Dog (Keiko Awaji)
Some Like It Hot (Marilyn Monroe)
Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow (Sophia Loren)
Dirty Girtie From Harlem USA (Francine Everett)
Passport (Madhubala)
Dark Passage (Lauren Bacall)
Sepia Cinderella (Sheila Guyse)
On The Town (Ann Miller, Vera-Ellen, Betty Garrett)
The Bandwagon (Cyd Charisse)
Devar (Sharmila Tagore)
Reet-Petite and Gone (June Richmond)
The Postman Always Rings Twice (Lana Turner)
KANOPY (free through some libraries):
Dial M for Murder (Grace Kelly)
His Girl Friday (Rosalind Russell)
Ball of Fire (Barbara Stanwyck)
Black Orpheus (Marpessa Dawn)
Flower Drum Song (Reiko Sato, Nancy Kwan, Miyoshi Umeki)
Marriage Italian Style (Sophia Loren)
The Rose Tattoo (Anna Magnani)
Tokyo Story (Setsuko Hara)
War and Peace (Audrey Hepburn, Anita Ekberg)
Salt of the Earth (Rosaura Revueltas)
Metropolis (Brigitte Helm)
The Red Shoes (Moira Shearer)
HOOPLA (free through some libraries):
The Court Jester (Angela Lansbury, Glynis Johns)
Sunset Boulevard (Gloria Swanson)
A Place in the Sun (Elizabeth Taylor)
Barefoot in the Park (Jane Fonda)
The Barefoot Contessa (Ava Gardner)
Wings (Clara Bow)
YOUTUBE (has a lot of older movies that have slipped through copyright/are still up for some reason):
Charade (Audrey Hepburn)
Story Weather (Lena Horne)
Gilda (Rita Hayworth)
Rebecca (Joan Fontaine)
This entire playlist of Indian cinema that I just found (Madhubala, Waheeda Rehman, Nargis, Meena Kumari, etc.)
And that's just a small sample. There is also always your local library for physical DVDs, the Internet Archive, and....other methods.....if you know exactly what you're looking for.
I haven't seen all of these movies, so don't consider them personal recommendations—these are just famous movies with our hotties in them, so please be careful if you have content warnings. Good luck and have fun!
EDIT 5/16: Added a few more movies to the different sections, but this is still just a small selection of what the different streaming services have. Good luck!

Note: Only countable points are calculated here. No money and the like amounts or uncountable (ie zillions) points are included. When points were given in a range of numbers, the highest amount of points was added to total score. Points may be off by a few thousand. I have a life, so I multitask.
The points do not matter, but I did this anyways.

Mars's Marauders - Part 1
Mary Macdonald
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Photos: Pinterest. FC: Malia Baker <3)
(I've been having a pretty big Mary brain rot recently, so I decided to start off with her!)
~
Full name: Mary Anne Macdonald
Birthday: February 14th, 1960.
Nationality: 🇬🇧
Place: Manchester
Heritage: 🇨🇴/🇳🇬 (Her father is Colombian, her mother is Nigerian)
House: Gryffindor
Blood Status: Muggle-Born
Patronus: Dolphin
~
I think that Mary is one of the sweetest, kindest souls you will ever meet. I think she's the "It Girl" of Hogwarts, but she's one of those popular people who get popular because they're so nice!
I could totally see her being like a cottage-core girlie in a modern day au. She loves long skirts, long dresses, poofy sleeves, bows, but don't be surprised if you catch her lazing around in sweats.
~
Songs that remind me of her!: More Than A Women (Bee Gees), The Lucky One (Taylor Swift), and Slipping Through My Fingers (ABBA).
Favorite Artists (Time Accurate): ABBA, Dolly Parton, Gloria Gaynor.
Favorite Artists (Modern AU): Beyoncé, Destiny's Child, Chappell Roan, TWICE, Sabrina Carpenter.
~
My Headcanons <3
- Her electives are care of magical creatures and divination.
- She loves women. Women love her.
- She loves to sing. She’ll sing whenever she does her hair and makeup, and Marlene will yell like “Slay queen!” from across the dorm room.
- Her karaoke song is "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor.
- She loves picnics with the girls.
- She and Pandora will weave flowers into the other girls' hair.
- She is the motivator of the girls, 100%. She is always ready to make her friends feel like the hottest, baddest in the world. She is always there to listen to the drama and give actually good advice on it, while low-key trashing whoever did them wrong.
- I think she wanted to be a healer, which is specifically why she didn’t join the Order of the Phoenix.
- She loves baking! She always makes her friends' favorite desserts for their birthdays! (She sneaks down to the kitchens and assists the house elves with the baking).
- She’s definitely one of those people who doesn’t go out of her way to work hard, but still gets really good grades.
- If this wasn't already obvious, her favorite color is pink. It just is.
- She is a lovergirl <3
- She loves loves loves to do her friends hair, makeup, nails, styling, whatever.
- She is a girl's girl.
- She loves strawberries.
- Like... to the point where it's a problem.
- Lily and Marlene once made her a strawberry shortcake for her birthday and Mary was so happy that her friends went out of their way to indulge in her interest, that she didn't even notice how sloppy the icing was. (Or how dry the actual cake was).
- She didn't find out she was a witch until she received her letter.
- She loves the movie "Grease".
~
Thank you for reading <3 Have a wonderful day/afternoon/night, wherever you are!
(@marylily-my-beloved you asked to be tagged, so here you go!)
(Let me know if you want to be tagged for future parts!)
