The last few days were excruciatingly hot, but today I woke up to raindrops in my windows and clouds hanging all over the view. The gloomy weather has me curled up in the couch reading "Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer and feeling a longing and sorrow for the story of a idealistic boy I will never know but can't help to feel connected to.

joker wouldn't talk about his crush for sure, he wouldn't even talk to them for some time till he feels ready. that doesn’t mean he wouldn't let his presence known. he likes to help around, with anything and everything he can! he likes it even better when you ask for his help. it makes him feel good about himself, like you need him, and that makes him feel appreciated.

this man is so shy, but you wouldn't ever notice it, though. he always stands so glommy and tall that you forget he's just another human being like you, with feelings and crushes. you wouldn’t be capable of seeing underneath his facet if he didn't lend you some help.

joker is a huge soft for you, period. he wishes he could just pick you up and take you home like some cute puppy. he would treat you so well and make sure you're happy. but he can't just do that, so he waits and waits.

he hears you talk about what's on your mind, and ocasonaly about more personal stuff like your favorite tv show at the moment or favorite food. maybe even dreams that you feel comfortable sharing with him, he grabs every bit he can. no matter how small it might seem to someone else... he's an incredible patient man, so it doesn't bother him that much that this is all he's getting after three months of knowing you.

yet joker is human after all and he can get too greedy some times. so he tries to sneak himself more and more in your (personal) space and life. he thinks he's so smooth with it. and he actually is, you don't seem to have picked on it yet. but guess who does? wooin. and that's ten times worse than if you had.

joker immediately backs off on his plans when, one day, he sees wooin's hand holding your arm while he talks to you. as soon as wooin saw him, he made sure to keep eye contact. and joker knew he was screwed, because wooin knew.

the fear joker was under blows off in the next days when he noticed that wooin doesn't really want anything with you. wooin is just messing him. he's trying to make joker lose his cool so you would notice his feeling in the most embarrassing way. so yeah, the fear in no more, but anger? oh, boy. joker full of it.

he's talking even less, and giving wooin daggers eyes any chance he gets.

meanwhile, you don't know what the hell is going on. why joker don't seem to look for you anymore like he used to and why hyuk is having a blast every time he sees wooin and joker in the same room.

i've actually done research on this ahem

because spicy is a feeling of pain rather than a specific taste, Vince can taste/feel spicy food. this is backed up by first hand accounts by people who have lost their ability to taste. i imagine Vince putting hot sauce on his strawberries.

popping candy is a mostly textural thing, so Vince eats that too. this one was taken off of a fic ^^"

related to the popping candy are fizzy drinks or carbonated beverages, such as club soda and champagne, which also provide a little sting that is completely separate from taste. bonus: club soda goes well with lemon!

bitter foods leave a strong aftertaste that Vincent may detect as a metallic coating. this includes tonic water and various herbs. it also may be why rody said Vince's cooking is bitter.

other various acidic foods, Vince can eat.

alcohol has a burn when it goes down, so Vince drinks that too. but he's canonically a lightweight, and as a standard rule of thumb the stronger the alcohol, the stronger the burn; an interesting combination.

it's important to note that Vince can't taste or smell the tobacco in his cigarettes; but smoke itself has a unique aroma that Vince may still be able to perceive.

Vince might eat mint and other various products with a cooling menthol effect.

on the other hand, Vince can't eat anything that stays in the mouth for too long (steak/other chewy meats, gum, certain types of bread) has a glommy or thick texture (marshmallows, sweet potato, mashed potato, chocolates/most types of candies) and, canonically, he just can't stand eating.

dk if this might be an unpopular opinion, but i like wednesday and tyler as a couple, even if they never got to be.

there are three love interests, enid, xavier and tyler.

xavier is an idiot and the only thing he and her have in common is they met as kids, they dont have any chemistry at all and hes all over his head with bianca, wednesday and whatever else, going to the raven with bianca ans then asking her to make him forget about wednesday as if he hasn't been bringing at any chance he gets her manipulating him. in general, i think he needs to get his shit together before dating again.

enids and wednesdays friendship and bonding trope is really nice and all but i just like them as that: friends, platonic soulmates if u want. besties who are the completele opposite. i dont think theyd work as a couple for the same reason weve seen them disagree and fight on the show, theyre way too different and not very willing, especially wednesday, to see each others pov. i just dont think they have chemistry as a couple, even with all the shipping and fan arts i saw when the show was first aired, i personally, never saw it.

but with tyler, since the very beginning he seemed so curious and interested in wednesday. she helps him and as part of the deal he has to help her but then weens find her. at the fair, again, the plan cant be executed. he could've ditched her both times, but he stayed.

every time he sees her lurking around, appearing from nowhere with her glommy aura, intense staring and lifeless expression, he looks at her and grinds with curiosity, a liking one.

besides when he tells her shes been showing him these "signals", he never expects anything from her, never tells her how to act nor minds how she just is, she literally slammed the door on his face and he just started looking at pictures.

he likes her.

and she also likes him. if she didn't, she wouldn't have lied about the letter, she doesn't need him anymore to escape and im sure she would've figured how to get to other historic places from jerico and other information like that. during goo goo muck her dancing is focusing on him, not in a "look at me im so charming" way, but she could've just started dancing not giving a fuck about him and instead, her sight and movements are always back to him. and they literally kissed, which wouldn't have happened if she didn't liked him.

for me, they really had chemistry and if he wasn't the monster, they could've been an odd, but cute in their own way, couple.
