WHY ARE YOU POSTING PRINT MEDIA IF ITS CALLED GLITTERDXCK RECORDS?

I’m glad you asked! When I first was wanting to start this project(s) back in 2017, I had a vision of releasing music, of course! A collective of artists, very much ripping off Bomb The Music Industry! However, I wanted it to be more than that!

I very much wanted to start a collective of trans artists of all types! While I’ve been foraging into visual media more than I thought I would as of late, I wanted to also make space for other artists, writers, and zine makers to share their works with other trans people.

It’s been slow going getting other folks involved, mostly because I have no money to offer nor reach to advertise, which is super understandable. We all gotta eat!

I got into making zines around this time by finding scans of old punk zines that would get passed around along with bootleg recordings, and they have always seemed very intertwined to me. My initial focus has been music, since that’s what I’m the best at, but I’m so happy I’m expanding my scope so soon! If you wanna throw stuff my way to feature here, hit me up!!
