Hot off the press and ready for Gen Con! Initially it was just Ash and Missingno, but I wanted some extra panicked pokemon fleeing the sudden appearance. I know Wingulls weren't in the original Kanto, but they make for the perfect lil startled seabirds (sorry, pidgey).

the sprite on the right is ♀ a glitch pokemon from pokemon yellow. She's a real powerhouse with great stats by pokemon gen 1 standards, she's over 80 feet tall, and she lets out this really long cry when encountered. Maybe she's singing or maybe screaming, either way she's got a great voice. Check out more stuff about her on bulbapedia.

Many people seem to see her as creepy, but ♀️_. comes off to me as serene. You go out of your way to find her, and, to reward your efforts, she stops the flow of combat forever to sing with you.

fun fact about younger me: i used to be filled with overwhelming rage at any and all pokepastas that involved existing glitch pokemon but made them do stuff with no basis in actual glitch pokemon behaviors. i thought of it as cruel and unwarranted slander towards an already much-maligned pokemon variety

following up on my tags in the last post: here's my own glitchmon spreadsheet, sorted by base stat total. as you can see, the entire 205 family is AT the top, and they BEAT THE MEGA LEGENDARIES BY 8 POINTS, WITHOUT THE SPECIAL SPLIT. these are planetary gods trapped in gen 1. and 3 of them are available through relatively-normal gameplay (see: the mew glitch)

So I decided to Hoopa ring to Cinnabar island, something Steven said a long time ago got me thinking. Also please ignore the redacted text, I don't know why but trying to type out its name redacts it. I did have to catch it in order to do so, but it was released after. Procedure: An apple was put inside a bag as the sixth item before ██████████ was approached. Results: The apple was duplicated until there were 128 apples. Notes: the duplicated apples tasted weird, almost like metal. -------------------- Procedure: ██████████ was asked to change the area around it. Results: The area around ██████████ was corrupted in a 15 foot radius. Notes: Being in said area felt almost like being in a non-existent area. ------------------- Procedure: ██████████ was asked to change the weather to a nighttime rain. Results: It turned the time to night (causing my clock app tp go crazy) and made it rainy, surfing out of cinnabar and it became day and clear skies again. Notes: I half wasn't expecting it to be able to do that. --------------------- Procedure: ██████████'s power was used on a door on cinnabar island. Results: The door lead to somewhere completely different than where it would have lead. Notes: The door seems to bring you to a certain location based off what I can only assume to be a hidden set of actions. ---------------------

Procedure: ██████████ was asked to replicate a odd occurrence that normally would require specific actions. Results: Subject-1 (Me) was instantly thrown into a pokemon battle against a trainer who didn't exist, their pokemon seemed to be glitchmon as well. Notes: I won't post all the tests I did but this one interests me the most. ██████████ can certainly do a lot, even unexpected things, but all of the things it can do has weird side effects on the things and beings around it.

Missingno is great and all, but I think we need to mention other glitch 'mons more often, such as my good friend PKMNaPKMNゥ ♂ fPKMNk that instantly poisons all of your Pokemon and sends a water-type to eeby deeby when caught
