Singing statistics: Quinn Fabray
Once upon a time I decided to embark on a journey that involved creating a massive database with Glee songs and giving characters points based on how many covers they had and how much they sang in those songs. At some point I’m going to migrate all I’ve done so far over to tumblr but until then, please see this reddit post for the basics of the database and this masterpost for other character statistics and otherwise. If you have questions about the mechanics and are confused about what points refer to here, please consult with those posts or reach out. Otherwise, let’s talk Queen Bee Quinn. I have lots of visuals for you and some updates to the previously used template, and lots of words to explain what the images mean.
First things first and some basics, Quinn was in 73 Glee episodes overall and during her time on the show, she sang in 42 songs total. Thanks to the point system and solos, duets, and lead roles in group numbers being worth more than 1 point, these 42 songs mean 66 points for her. With this, she’s the 13th most featured voice of the series, behind most of the original New Directions and just ahead of the season 4 newbies. With 42 performances, her voice is feature in just over 6% of all Glee songs so those are your chances of hearing Dianna when putting an all-songs Glee playlist on shuffle.
Now to get into the different types of songs Quinn has had. Solos are worth 3 points in this system and of those Quinn had 6 in total. This makes her the 16th character with the most solos, ranking her lower than her overall singing place. Four out of 6 solos were in season 1, making it by far her best in that respect. Two of them were Unholy Trinity songs with Brittana on backup, once for real with Naya and Hemo in Come See About Me. Curiously, two solos were Supremes songs and a third, Never Can Say Goodbye, originally intended for The Supremes before landing with The Jackson 5. More on artists most often covered in a later section.
Duets are worth 2 points and of those Quinn had 10, ranking her 10th among the cast. Her singing partners were a diverse bunch and there were only two characters she sang with twice, Sam in season 2 and Artie in season 3 episode 15 - both songs in the same episode. That’s Artie’s pattern, by the way. We have a pie chart here for the first actual chart graphics but more interesting than Quinn’s list of duet partners is the next slide.
This way of visualizing the “sings with” category is new for Quinn’s character post. Previously this was just a column chart but the good old bubbles helps us actually see the differences more. The numbers are all in the table on the left but the chart tells that Quinn’s most significant singing partner overall was Santana. Now, this isn’t only duets, it’s every time Quinn is featured in a song with someone else. For example, out of Quinn’s 42 songs Santana was also in 16 of them. Fun fact, Santana is featured in every single one of Quinn’s season 4 songs, and very nearly in all season 6 ones. On the other end of the spectrum are Blaine and Mike; Mike isn’t a surprise as the OG who sang the least. He ranks lowest for practically every ND member. But Blaine is curious since there are only two group numbers Quinn and him are ever featured in together (Control and We’ve Got Tonite).
And then we have something a little different, the distribution of points between Quinn and another character in their shared songs. For example, because Brittany often provides backup or has smaller parts when Quinn sings, their balance is way off from the 50% mark and Quinn tends to have larger parts in those shared songs. The opposite is true for Rachel, who often leads group numbers whereas Quinn tends to have small parts. Same goes for Finn, and then the rest is more or less near that 50% line.
Speaking of and moving onto group numbers, as you might have guessed based on the stats so far Quinn didn’t exactly have the most throughout her run. She was featured in 18 New Directions performances overall, meaning she was in just under 9.5% of all ND songs. Out of these, one was her Sectionals duet with Sam and she took the lead or otherwise had a major solo in just five songs. The rest, 12 performances were a verse or two here and there, but mostly a line or two. She did also feature on Edge of Glory by The Troubletones but that doesn’t count towards her setlists statistics so she’s still only the 11th most featured there. Her duet goes a long way to not making that an even lower number. Quinn was present and a member of the New Directions for 22 competition performances overall and sang in 4 of those, her 4.5 points landing her the 11th most-featured spot.
Performances that don’t include the whole group or even a subset like the Glee Girls get counted as ensembles instead. Quinn had two songs that qualify as trios, a Fapezberry and an Unholy Trinity feature - Problem counts as a quartet thanks to Artie, as well as two other songs. Her one quintet is the Celibacy Club’s banger Afternoon Delight and Homeward Bound/Home is her one sextet.
Backups are a tricky business and there are many variations. Basically, both backing vocals in the traditional sense and just one lines in a song are worth 0.5 points and are counted for this category. The distribution with Quinn’s 8 half-pointers is three instances of what can be considered backing vocals and five times having very very small parts in songs, such as We’ve Got Tonite. Another curious category is what I mark with zeros, aka either “Quinn” providing vocals but Dianna not, e.g. I Look To You, or Dianna being said to provide them but that not necessarily being the case diegetically. These cases were decided based on Glee Wiki but they don’t count in the statistics anyway. Examples include Jump and Dog Days Are Over.
Going back into chart territory now that we’ve had our look at song categories, first up the seasons by numbers. These columns refer to the number of songs Quinn had in seasons and the different shades denote song types. Even though season 1 is looking real dark with its four solos, it’s still a weak season vocally. We also see that, despite only singing in six songs, Quinn was the 7th most featured character in season 1. Things get significantly better, number of songs wise in seasons 2 and 3 - or do they? Technically yes, Quinn sings in more songs, but there’s a lack of solos and because of the ever-expanding cast she’s only 14th and 11th in seasons 2 and 3 respectively. While yes, season 3 is her most featured season, it is for a lot of others too, hence 11th place. And then as Quinn graduates and becomes a guest star these numbers understandably get much lower. But that isn’t the whole story.
We’re back to bubble charts to get to the bottom of how well-featured Quinn was, exactly, in every season. You see, these numbers are adjusted for the number of episodes she was in and then we get the X axis of points and Y axis of songs. And it paints a different picture, does it not? Season 1 s her least featured when considering that she was in all episodes, not just in terms of songs but adjusted with points, too, so her solos didn’t count for much. And then there’s season 2, where there was a stretch of episodes without Quinn singing but it still fares better. Season 3 is an improvement yet again, but her guest star seasons are another beast entirely. Now, this makes sense. When Dianna Agron returns as a guest star it only feels right to feature her more than they did when she was a main character, admittedly an underutilized one. And so season 4 and 6 in particular stand out, even though she sang in both her season 5 episodes. Season 4 is ahead in terms of points, what with that one last solo, but season 6 packed five songs into what is basically just two episodes. Remember, season 1 had six songs overall in twenty-two episodes.
To drive the point of Quinn’s underutilization home, here’s a side tour of Marley’s stats. At least that’s what I think the purpose of this left chart was when I made it well over a year ago. You see, our chart on the left tracks the cumilation of points as the episodes go on, for both Quinn and Marley. Quinn’s begins stagnating at around the point Marley appears, naturally as season 4 saw the exit of one and intro of the other. And see how Marley almost ended up with more overall points than Quinn? Because in just a season and a half she got 65 points, one short of Quinn’s grand total. In fact, for basically all of season 5 Marley was ahead, meaning she sang as much in season 4 as Quinn did in three seasons. The only thing that makes Quinn the 13th and Marley the 14th most featured voice is season 6.
To further illustrate the stark difference between how their voices were utilized in the time they had, on the right you can see a bubble chart similar to the previous slide’s. I know, it’s squished, but you can still see Marley blowing Quinn out of the water in terms of both average number of songs and point per episode. Twice as much, essentially. And to be clear none of this is against Marley, it’s just pointing out how relatively little Quinn got during her time, particularly as a regular.
Now onto the genres and artists category. Above is the distribution of genres in Quinn songs, most notable is how few showtunes she did and the relatively big representation of soul. In fact, a whopping 4 out 6 six solos can classify as soul, a genre Glee didn’t feature a ton of. Pop and rock being the top two is no surprise given the overall ratios of the show but R&B/soul is well-represented with Quinn.
No surprise, then, that the signature artists I was able to narrow down based on the numbers are The Supremes and The Jackson 5. Glee covered six Supremes songs and two of those were Quinn solos. As previously mentioned, a third solo was at one point meant to be a Supremes song but the switch just resulted in The Jackson 5 also being a signature artist for Quinn. Among the many Jackson songs covered, Glee did two Jackson 5 performances and both featured Quinn: the aforementioned Never Can Say Goodbye and ABC. Motown queen indeed.
Coming towards the end, I wanted to make note of “extra” songs - covers not counted for the stats above, either because they weren’t actually featured in the show or because studio versions were never released. The former category includes the Christmas banger God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and the never-aired s3 version of Seasons of Love. The latter category has Ride Wit Me and the sadly never completed due to first trimester issues Fuinn version of DSB.
Finally, this last image is just the table summary of the seasons column chart. It’s something I always included with old stats so I kept it in here, too, in case it helps anyone to see it laid out like this. I’m a believer in a good chart helping to make sense of numbers but sometimes seeing it presented like this also helps.
So. Yeah! That was Quinn’s Glee run in numbers. Please reach out with any and all questions, and if I see that people are actually curious about this stuff I’ll get on that tumblr migration and making new posts using the database. There’s a lot more to cover with the data that’s in there.
#glee#quinn fabray#glee singing stats#character singing stats#eventually we'll have a tumblr masterpost too when i get the migration done#singing statistics#and i'll settle on a tag#well anon who requested this pls let me know your thoughts

Okay hai sorry again it’s me (lmk if I’m bothering you)
another fic idea:
Schlatt takes fem!reader to her favorite artist’s concert (Chappell Roan) and he actually does the Hot To Go! Dance
it sounded better in my head
YOU CAN TAKE ME HOT TO GO !!
description: you can definitely cross off a concert off your bucket list now
a/n: i hope this did your req justice !!
You knew of Chappell Roan when she first released Pink Pony Club and it was circling around TikTok like any new audio does. You liked and added the song to one of your playlists and then forgot about it like usual- going on with your life, and occasionally belting out the song when it got shuffled.
As Chappell began to rise up to stardom, so did your Spotify stats. Your FYP started flooding in with people doing the dance and you’d do one each time it popped into your head like a persistent melody you couldn’t seem to shake. Schlatt would scoff and roll his eyes each time the dance happened. One time, you did the dance on his stream and he playfully pushed you away while chat spammed your name and the lyrics.
So when Schlatt said that he got tickets to her show for your birthday, you screamed. Because that was unexpected - even for him - and the tickets were definitely expensive. He just shoved the tickets into your hand and said that he liked seeing you happy.
Now you’re standing in a venue with too many people to count - feeling like you were packed in a can of sardines - with Schlatt beside you as you loudly sing the chorus to ‘HOT TO GO!’, and laughed as Schlatt struggled to do the dance.
You were dressed in one of the themes with red glitter carefully painted across your face and while Schlatt didn’t want to dress up like the theme, he wore a red sweater that he randomly found off Ebay that seemed to fit the theme.
How he managed to survive wearing a sweater in a venue full of people on a hot sunny day, you’ll never know. It was like a super power.
“Jay, you have to do it like this!” You say with a laugh, holding your arms up to form the ‘H’ and he looks down at you, mirroring your pose. “Toots, y’know ‘m not a dancer,”
“Yeah, but just try!”
The venue yells out the chorus and you do the dance once more, urging Schlatt to follow your steps. He eventually gets it after a few tries and you jump in glee, high fiving him after the song finishes. “You did good!”
There was definitely a clip of him doing the dance that circled around Twitter for the next couple of days, and you would cackle maniacally each time fanart or an edited version of that clip came on your timeline.

Please will you tell Tumblr the story of the spider head hat?
Oh yeah, this is how I got into TTRPGs.
While at uni, a friend correctly identified me as the kind of nerd who would enjoy TTRPGs so brought me along to a game at our uni's wargame and RPG society.
I think we were just before the 5e boom, so D&D itself wasn't big and the games running at the society were mostly Warhammer 40k and Call of Cthulhu.
So my first game was Call of Cthulhu.
The setting was I think frontier-era America; of the members of the party I remember, my friend who brought me into the game was an enormous Scottish dentist, someone I never saw outside of the game was a priest, I think native to the area we were as he was the only one with a clue what was going on around us, and me, a shipwright who wanted to make an ocean-going airship, I think? It's hard to remember that bit in detail because such trifles do not survive first encounter with Call of Cthulhu.
The first thing I remember was us camping for the night and our GM asking us to make Listen checks. I was the only one to pass and did so with huge success, everyone's happy, the new player's getting good rolls.
The GM looks worried for me.
She asks me to make a Sanity check. People stop smiling. I roll. It is bad.
The GM leads me out of the room to talk to me in private. We leave a hushed table.
"So in the night, before you fall asleep you hear a beautiful singing coming from the woods. Compelled by the music, you get out of your tent, and you follow the sound of the music into the trees."
"Ah. OK."
"Can I have your character sheet please?"
"OK..."
We re-enter the room. The GM has my character sheet in her hand. There are omens at play here. What there isn't at play here is me.
Come the morning everyone realises the new person's gone so set off tracking me into the forest.
Good news! They found me! I was even alive!
Bad news! The singing was giant purple spiders with humanlike intelligence and apparently a taste for insomniac shipwrights!
Our brick shithouse of a dentist leaps on the back of one of the spiders and begins wrestling it, hoping to be out of reach of its ability to attack him as long as he can stay on its back.
Player A: "I'm going to try shooting the spider"
Dentist: "Please don't, I'm on it, if you miss you'll hit me and I don't like being shot"
Player A: "That's OK, I didn't miss."
Dentist: "Well thank fuck for that."
Player B: "I'm going to shoot it too."
Dentist: "Are you fucking kidding me?"
Eventually, mercifully un-shot, the dentist managed to wrestle the head off the spider. He didn't actually kill it in doing so but it's fine, player C shot the head in his hands and it stopped snapping at him.
Silence fell. Calm reigned. The GM told me how much sanity I had lost. It was more than the rest of the party had ever lost combined. I learned not to listen so hard in future.
The dentist looked at the GM, a giant spider head still in his hands.
"Can I wear its head as a hat?"
The GM sighed. "Make me a San check"
Dice noises. "Fail!" He said that word with such glee.
"You lose one sanity, but you also turn the whole spider's exoskeleton into a suit of armour. It has the same stats as leather but also poisons anyone who touches it with their skin, and anyone you meet while wearing it has to make Sanity checks."
And that's why I love TTRPGs.

@steddie-week Day Six: True
Call him a snap. A lovesick loser. A nerd. A guy who likes fantasy stories and make-believe a little too much. An idiot who is setting himself up for disappointment and heartbreak.
But Eddie Munson believes in True Love.
He has read the stories and been swept up in the romantic plotlines of his favourites. He creates NPCs for his campaigns with unnecessarily detailed backstories with whole lives set out for them. Then he uses them to write poems and short stories he keeps safe in his notebooks for no one to see, where everyone gets a sweeping grand love story and a 'happily ever after' waiting for them by the end.
He's well aware others catch on, especially after he starts dating Steve. Yeah, an actual real-life love story sweeps him off his feet and he lets his guard down. Dustin and Lucas call him, "a pathetic lameoid". Mike and Will descend into a chorus of gagging noises. Even the guys tease him for writing song lyrics featuring admittedly, very obvious saccharine declarations. George will give a "Yuck", Gareth practically sings out his disgusted "Ew" and Jeff gives perhaps the worst reaction of all...
"Eddie... just. No."
Steve might as well be a Prince. Or a Knight in shining armour. A combination of both, maybe? Mixed in with the weapons and demon-slaying expertise of a high-stats Barbarian who runs around shirtless.
When Steve visited him in the hospital, drugged-up delirium had Eddie's mind drifting to fairytales where he lay in a nightmare-riddled slumber as a blood-stained and beat-up version of Snow White or Sleeping Beauty. Just laying in wait to be fixed by true love's kiss.
Steve calls Eddie his Prince sometimes when he's being all sappy and cute. It makes them both blush and giggle because, while it's romantic, it is also Steve trying desperately to sound impressive.
But Steve really is the Prince. Eddie insists on the matter. Even when he arrives at the trailer from a closing shift at Family Video, visibly tired with dark eyes, hair now flat and unstyled with a pained expression on his face as he blinks at a snail's pace.
"Thank god, I'm home" he sighs, voice cracking a little as he sets his keys down on the shelf near the front light switch.
Eddie snaps his book shut (A collection of Grimm Fairytales, no less), feeling all giddy at the thought Steve considers the place 'home'. But his glee doesn't last long as his homebound Prince barely toes off one of his sneakers before he clambers forward, arms unstretched in the direction of the couch.
Eddie catches him - or more, Steve collapses onto the couch and rolls into him.
"Hey, what's wrong?" he panics, brushing back the mop of hair that has flopped in his face.
"I have a headache," Steve groans, talking into his makeshift pyjama top - an old Hawkins Tigers t-shirt, "Started as I was closing up."
Steve heaves his body against the couch, resting his head on the cushion back and screws his eyes shut. He fumbles with the buttons on his polo, failing to get anywhere near unbuttoning them. So, Eddie does it for him, barely finishing on the last one before Steve pops his shirt off and flings it halfway across the room.
Then Steve starts doing the same with his belt and fly as a wash of sickly paleness drains down his pretty face.
"I'll do it," he grumbles, pushing Steve's mighty paws away.
He helps there too, willing away a blush and a dirty joke as he loosens Steve's obscenely tight jeans. He isn't exactly sure how it works anatomically, but he is growing more certain with every headache that these damn jeans aren't doing him any favours (other than giving him a tight little, very squeezable, butt).
Steve puffs out what is vaguely a laugh before he slurs, "Think this is as far as you gonna get tonight, Eds."
He gestures at his underwear peaking out from his undone jeans.
"You want me to run you a bath? Squish you into the teeny-tiny combo?"
Steve sniffs under his arm and grimaces at himself.
"'Kay," he lolls his head back on the couch.
"Anything else?"
"Can you make me some tea?"
"Tea?" he questions.
He can't help it. Usually, he keeps his queries to a minimum when Steve is like this (which has been all too frequent lately) but this is a new request.
"Wayne made me some last week when I had a migraine."
"This is the first I'm hearing of it," he says, and in lieu of a physical presence, he glares at his uncle's recliner chair.
Steve smiles at the ceiling, his eyelids softening with a light flutter as he hums, presumably thinking about this magic tea Wayne is most definitely being interrogated about first thing in the morning.
"'S'nice," Steve shrugs.
"That old man with his tea collection like he's some old English Granny."
"Stops me from feeling sick."
Eddie leans over and pecks his deceptively-hot cheek. Stinky and on the precipice of a migraine or not, Steve is still his Prince Charming. He pauses there. Steve must feel his breath lingering because his lip quirks, threatening a smile and he opens his eyes.
"What?" he asks, a teasing tone dancing in there somewhere as he blinks slowly.
Eddie takes his hand and squeezes it.
"Let me kiss you."
"Okay," Steve replies and puckers his lips without moving an inch.
"True love's kiss will make you feel better, promise," he whispers as he closes the distance between them and presses a soft kiss to Steve's lips.
Steve squeaks out a noise and Eddie can feel his frown as he murmurs, "You're so silly."

BULLET POINTS
tw: anxiety, bullying, fatal car accident
Cormac was born to loving parents in Dublin, Ireland, the eldest of three.
Early in his schooling, it became clear that he was struggling and after some tests, he was diagnosed with ADHD. This led to some bullying from the other children.
Music and sports became his school outlet and helped stop the bullying. He became more popular and soon was the main guy in the year that everyone wanted to be around. This switch from the bullied kid to the most popular was hard to process. It led to a lot of anxiety and he became more internal in his thoughts.
This internal struggle with his ADHD, popularity, and previous bullying all came out in his music. At school, he masked and played the role everyone expected of him (similar to Ted Lasso) but at home he would break down and have anxiety attacks. Writing and strumming on his guitar were what calmed him.
Life in the small suburb of Dublin had always felt stifling. Although he was popular, he wasn't being his true self, and he felt like he didn't belong.
Moved to the US at 21 to chase dreams of being a musician. Started to experiment with his appearance and image, which he felt was more of him.
The attention of American women was a whirlwind, and he was somewhat of a lothario in his early twenties. He fell in and out of love quickly, much to the frustration of the women, until one woman stole his heart, and he was head over heels for her.
They moved to her hometown of Hollow Creek to set up a home together. He found work in the local bar where he would play some live sets for extra money.
She was driving to pick him up from work one fatal, stormy night but never made it. The car had been written off, and it was a closed casket. He never got to say goodbye.
Currently, working and singing, unable to process the grief. He is interested in investigating the town and the spooky happenings to distract from the pain of his ex. The anxiety attacks from his teenage years have returned, but like then, he masks it all behind the smile of the friendly Irish barman.
WANTED CONNECTIONS
— anyone connected to his ex who knows what he's been through and maybe pushes/encourages him to process and talk about the grief capping at 2. — anyone interested in investigating the town and its backstory to distract him capping at 3. — anyone interested in partying/hooking up as he hates being alone with his thoughts so likes to be out socializing and the hook ups mean cuddles when the night gets quiet. — a bestfriend/crush who can see hes hurting and is trying to be that safe space/comfort for him. — all the rest! exes, enemies, friends, favourite customers at the bar, fwb, dates/hook ups that ended well or bad, a cat sitter, gym buddies, a muse who helps with his music (he's been blocked for a while) ANYTHING!! 11, 20, 27, 29 for giilvas (and the other two if you feel up to answering for more!) :)
🕺 OHHHHH BUT OF COURSE
this is gonna be long bc i’ ll answer for my three boys …. Grins . Find the questions here !
11) what are their best skills? arcana, history, sleight-of-hand?
Cracked open the game to gather the Stats ..
Giilvas has proficiency in Stealth , Nature , Animal Handling , Perception , Survival , Intimidation and Persuasion , with Intimidation and Persuasion as his highest .
Zerxes has proficiency in Arcana , History , Investigation , Nature , Religion , Medicine and Persuasion , with Arcana and Medicine being his highest
Seoras has proficiency in Athletics , Investigation , Nature , Insight and Survival , with Insight and Survival being his highest
20) does your tav have a best friend in the party? what's their dynamic like?
Giilvas would probably point to either Lae’zel or Karlach .
Lae’zel and him balance each other in very welcomed ways , both being rather headstrong yet in different ways . Giilvas appreciates Lae’zel and her willingness ( and skill ) to intimidate potential threats , and her support of when they do have to fight a battle that they may or may not have been able to avoid . Giilvas is her limiter , in this case , as well . Being the voice of situational pacifism , helping them progress in places that require bits of deception . Giilvas gets them in , Lae’zel gets them out . They both respect each other as warriors , and know that they both want the best for the other , even if the methods and words may differ from what they’ d expect .
Lae’zel also cannot play an instrument to save her life , so Giilvas having the skill to do so ( and to prance and sing as he does it ?! ) is something she admires , even if she does roll her eyes at him preforming for spare coin . Giilvas , similarly , sucks at strategy . His plan starts at “ get to place “ and ends there . How to get out ? What threats there may be ? Any potential complications ? Not his forte . He’ ll just hope for easy . Lae’zel doesn’ t . She knows what to prepare for , and how .
With Karlach , it was kinda bff love at first sight . Giilvas has experienced hunting for someone , only to learn it was a misunderstanding , so he didn’ t think twice about accepting Karlach with open arms and helping her instead of harming her . Both of them being the party’ s walls is another thing they connected on . Knowing they wanted to protect everyone , knowing they have the power to do so . ( With her calling herself Mama K , I can’ t help but picture her trying to give Giilvas a similar nickname . Mid-fight is when she tries them out on him , always ) Opening up later about her looming death , and Giilvas having something similar looming above him at all times , they kept finding things to connect on . They do sleep side by side on occasion , bedrolls close enough for one to reach for the other . Karlach gets nightmares , and Giilvas can easily scare himself out of meditation .
Karlach brings a bit of glee Giilvas almost lost , him realizing he became a bit of a nihilist at some point . Karlach holds out on hope , even when it seems near impossible . Giilvas is a bit of curiosity that Karlach is a bit too suspicious to act on , at times . He’ ll do the stupid thing first , and she can be sure that she can do it too , as long as he’ s in one piece after .
Zerxes would probably only say Shadowheart .
Both of them being Clerics , they have that bond near instantaneous . Their respective gods , at the beginning , harbour no love for each other . But they do not hate each other . They know that , if they started talking semantics and the ways their gods tell them to go about things, they would end up in an argument . But Zerxes follows Kelemvor for reasons outside of just agreeing with the principles that his god demands , and he’ s open to listen to Shadowheart’s reasons for following and worshipping Lady Shar . They make snide remarks to each other at times , mostly just to try and get a rise out of the other , but they’ ll protect each other from harm .
The Shadowlands do end up testing each other , seeing that they cannot fully escape their gods wills here , but they still sit together at camp . Even if they may have fought that day , they’ ll sit and say their apologies , they’ ll eat side by side to prove trust .
Later , when they both have all their cards out on the table , and they’ ve both come to terms with everything that they do and don’ t stand for , they take some time together . Drinking wine and discussing what they see in their futures . They both hope for the best things to come for both of them . And Zerxes makes a habit to hunt for night orchids .
Seoras’ top three are Wyll , Jaheira and Minsc
Wyll and him get along quick . He knows Wyll - he knows of the stories , and he knows that his family farm was aided by the Blade a few years back , but he never met the man- and he knows he can trust him . Learning of his Pact and the type of person Mizora is doesn’ t scare Seoras , he knows what people are forced to sacrifice to do good , and Mizora is just someone who took advantage of someone who wanted to do good . He just knows there has to be a way to beat her , and that Wyll won’ t suffer her forever .
They bond over swapping stories , Seoras shares things that happened at the farm or while he was selling in Baldur’s Gate , and Wyll tells stories of what sorts of heroics he would get up to before , and what sorts of things he wants to do in the future . They talk about places they want to go , things tjey want to try , and how they hope to return home soon . Finding Wyll’ s father is a top priority for Seoras , even with the suspicion that their bond may be rather strained .
Wyll promises to properly visit Seoras’ family farm , once everything is over
Jaheria and Minsc are people Seoras’ heard about growing up , folk tales and the type of people to aspire to be . Meeting them , and learning that they really are just people like himself and that they have their own flaws and lives outside of the stories he was told , made everything he had heard about them feel more real . He was nervous around them , at first , especially meeting Jaheria in the Shadowlands , but he settled down rather quickly .
Jaheria and Minsc are strange relatives , to him . Distant aunt and uncle that can tell some of the most hard to follow , but heartwarming life stories . They know the city well , having protected it before , and Seoras knows he can rely on them to help end this strange , strange situation he was pulled into .
27) how does your tav react to wyll's pact and patron? if they're a warlock, was there anything specific?
Giilvas is going to Kill Mizora . He knows the kind of conditions that make people take pacts , and he knows the sort of conditions those pacts demands . Having her show up , with Wyll hinting at a sort of punishment waiting for him when they return to camp , he makes it known that she isn’ t welcomed here . He does all but physically force her out , knowing that whatever he might do to her would end up being something that Wyll would be punished for later .
He doesn’ t harbour any ill will or feelings towards Wyll , pacts and bargains are things people keep hidden for reason that may be out of their control . He let’ s Wyll know he isn’ t upset , and that he’ s more prepared for her to show her face around their camp . He just wants to keep everyone safe , and wants to make sure Wyll feels safe here .
Zerxes feels like he’ s experiencing Deja Vu . He knows that Wyll’ s eye is a sending stone , and now he knows the face behind it . He and Wyll got off on a rocky start , Zerxes recruited Karlach first , and having Wyll show up that night with an intent to kill … it leaves a certain type of first impression .
However , seeing Mizora and seeing what she does to Wyll , he’ s reminded of his sister . Her taking a pact , hoping to better her life and to make things easier for the two of them . He sees her crying , once the terms of her pact reared their ugly head . He feels the exchange he and his sister had to undergo , the burn of his own skin .
He’ s enraged . Mizora shouldn’ t be here . And he wants to grab Wyll and shake him . Ask him why . Tell him he was a fool, that he should have ran from her . Instead , he sits with Wyll that night , and gives him some horn balm from his bag . Just like he did with his sister .
Like I mentioned briefly before , Seoras isn’ t frightened by her . He doesn’ t feel betrayed by Wyll , and he doesn’ t harbour anything over it . He treats Mizora … fine . He doesn’ t want to say or do anything that would keep her around longer than she should be . He doesn’ t yell , doesn’ t threaten . He just pushes her towards doing what she’ s planning to do , and hope she leaves fast .
He doesn’ t like her , at all . But he knows better than to try and test his own luck at that time .
He doesn’ t push Wyll for whys and hows , doesn’ t try to have him open up to him about anything ( he knows that Wyll probably can’ t , but he doesn’ t want him to feel forced to explain that to him ) , all he tells Wyll is that they’ ll get him out of the pact , and that he should try to get some rest .
29) after baldur's gate is saved, what will your tav do?
Giilvas’ very good three step plan is 1) Go to Avernus 2) Get married 3) Get revenge
Step one is simple . Go to Avernus with Wyll and Karlach . Raise hell IN hell , find a fix for Karlach’ s heart , beat Mizora once and for all ( and ransack her hell Barbie dream house she probably lives in ) , and maybe harness some cursed infernal knowledge while down there . This is going to take some time . A handful of years , kind of time . Giilvas doesn’ t care . He’ s committed .
Step two is the most difficult step . He and Wyll already wear wedding bands , and he keeps the proposal acorn in a pouch on his hip at all times , and in spirit they’ re an old married couple . But how does one get married ? How long do they have to plan ? What should Giilvas wear ? What traditions should they do ? Can they get everyone together for it ? Should they hold it in Baldur’s Gate or is that a bad idea ? Who do they even ask to properly wed them ? There’ s a lot of questions and a lot of answers and a lot of uncertainties . But Giilvas and Wyll are going to do it .
Get Revenge , the final step is rather self explanatory . Giilvas lost all his family and most of his clan to something that is still alive . And living . In the forest . It’ s hard to let go , when you see the children of the people that ran you out of home in Baldur’s Gate , knowing you cannot do anything yet . But , give it a few years down the line , and Giilvas will return to that forest with enough courage , enough sheer will and power , and one just as powerful husband , to settle a score .
Then , once these steps are completed … either they retire or they find some new lead to chase . Whatever comes their way first .
Zerxes’ and Seoras’ still have their posts games up in the air . Zerxes will probably return to his previous job , offering final rites and burying the undead . But he may end up staying with Gale and might end up aiding his lessons . There’ s also the matter of his sister , knowing she’ s out there . There’ s a few things in his future he has to sort out . Seoras wants to return to his family farm , but he knows it’ s likely gone after everything . He can see himself travelling with Halsin , maybe he’ ll settle into life as a proper druid . Who knows yet

pov you attend mckinley high as a normal student with blaine anderson. you try to peacefully eat lunch but he's in the cafeteria & courtyard singing every goddamn day with his glee club — the probability of him accidentally stepping on your lunch while getting on the table is relatively high. you try to study in the library but he's crawling around doing some disruptive performance with other glee kids. you attend the student council debates and he starts rambling about hair gel in the middle of his speech. you join a club HE'S IN THAT CLUB. you're trying to get to your ap stats class when you see him get reprimanded by coach sylvester for having a puppet of his new york boyfriend(??) on his hand. you and your fellow seniors discuss college applications and you hear that nyu and columbia are his SAFETY SCHOOLS. you watch the school's grease production and overhear that he almost cried while auditioning for teen angel with a sandy song despite being mainly considered for danny. your friend on the cheerleading team off-handedly mentions he's the team co-captain (HOW DOES HE HAVE THE TIME). you're all gathered at the auditorium for the class valedictorian speech and this asshole starts singing instead of giving an actual speech. unreal

Top 10
thank you for tagging me @quizasvivamos! :)
Rules: List your "top 10" (or up to 10 if you haven't written that many) fics ranked by kudos on AO3. Are you surprised by what's most popular to your readers? Then, under a cut, provide your ranking of your personal top 10 fics (with explanations if you want!), and then tag a few fellow writers!
*all of these are Glee stories with a Klaine pairing as the focus
Top 10 According to Readers:
The Bet (3,735 words)
Desperate Times... (120,479 words)
Aftermath Of The Bet (1,872 words)
You Got Me Singing In The Shower (24,251 words)
Until The Sun Falls From The Sky (157,400 words)
Surprise Visit (2,092 words)
Day 06 - Mirrors (69,558 words)
The Party Favor (9,995 words)
Drawn Together (3,561 words)
I Know What I Need (3,456 words)
I am surprised that The Bet is at the very top of this list. for a very long time Desperate Times was #1 on every single stat that AO3 recorded -- with a huge margin between it and everything else -- so seeing The Bet overtake that is surprising. and I am extremely shocked about number 10 even making this list. I didn't think that story had gotten as much attention as it did. (and also because I don't particularly care for it, so I sort of wish it hadn't gotten a lot of attention).
Top 10 According to the Author:
*in no particular order because choosing favorites is hard:
Desperate Times... 'verse (234,631 words)
Reflections (204,238 words)
Bicycle Patrol Unit (38,503 words)
Teacher-In-Training (15,718 words)
Until The Sun Falls From The Sky (157,400 words)
You Got Me Singing In The Shower (24,251 words)
The Party Favor (9,995 words)
Falling For You (9,513 words)
Wanna Bet? (5,607 words)
I Like It Like That (7,836 words)
yes, I cheated and included entire series, rather than just individual stories from the series, because to me they are all the same story and therefore cannot be separated. I don't really know what factors I was basing my personal top 10 on. I just know that I like these stories and thought they deserved to be on the list.
Tagging: whoever wants to play :)

welcome to london, BLAINE ANDERSON! did anyone ever tell you that you look just like ANTHONY KEYVAN? well, no matter, we hear that you are 22 and working as a MUSICAL THEATRE STUDENT/PERFORMING ARTS CAMP COUNSELOR. we also hear that you currently HAVE SOME OF your memories from GLEE and have a tendency to be PASSIONATE as well as NAIVE.
STATS.
FULL NAME: Blaine Devon Anderson RELATIVES: unnamed father, Pam Anderson (mother, I wish I made this up but no, it’s canon), Cooper Anderson (brother, 10 years older) AGE & BIRTHDAY: 22, April 5th 1995 ZODIAC SIGN: Aries GENDER & PRONOUNS: Cis male, he/him SEXUALITY: Gay RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Single HOMETOWN: Westerville, Ohio ETHNICITY: Filipino / Iranian SPOKEN LANGUAGES: English, some Spanish and some Tagalog OCCUPATION: College student (Musical Theatre major and Songwriting minor) and camp counselor at a performing arts camp POSITIVE TRAITS: Passionate, dedicated, charming, driven, enthusiastic, sympathetic NEGATIVE TRAITS: Naive, overdramatic, vulnerable, stubborn, impulsive, gullible
MORE.
tw: homophobia & assault
you can find his wiki here! and please feel free to ask me anything about him.
i’m up for all kinds of connections! (best) friends, neighbours, theatre buddies, people to jam with, maybe even an ex or someone he has a crush on!
blaine grew up in an upperclass family in westerville, ohio, with a very supportive mom, a father with unrealistically high expectations who hasn’t always been very accepting of blaine’s sexuality, and an overcritical older brother who would always shove blaine into the background (sometimes even literally). this has resulted in blaine being a huge perfectionist.
he has always loved performing. he started to sing and dance at a young age, started piano lessons when he was 5 and is a big fan of musicals. becoming a broadway star used to be his dream, but now that he’s in london, he’s determined to make it to west end instead. he also loves to write songs, even though he’s still somewhat insecure about his songwriting abilities.
blaine is slowly regaining his memories, although they’re still a little vague, like they’re just dreams. he remembers transferring to dalton academy after getting beaten up at a school dance, and transferring once again so he could spend more time with his boyfriend kurt. he remembers the absolute chaos of mckinley high and its glee club, how kurt left for new york and how he started to feel a little lost at mckinley, but nothing after that (aka after 4x03). blaine now thinks he broke up with kurt under different circumstances and that he moved to london right after graduation.
almost always wears a bow tie (he has a huge collection) and uses a bit too much hair gel. his style can otherwise be described as somewhat preppy, but colorful and with lots of patterns.
always has a way too busy schedule filled with extracurricular activities, college plays and other performances, additional classes and fun activities with friends
a hopeless romantic, a gentleman, drinks too much coffee and has a cat named freddie (purcurry). he’s always singing, he boxes, loves comics and superheroes, and bakes when he feels stressed
this was more than long enough ig <3

Kurt Glee Rewatch: Mash-Up
At least this ep has a bit more Kurt? But oof, first half of season 1 spent way too much time on Will drama and like. I do not care.
Realizing my Kurt rewatch is turning into me ranting about Will but not much to say about Kurt this ep so... rant it is.
Like, at least this time he asked Puck as well as Finn (tho that’s for the Rachel plot). then he gives up and does it himself? Does he realize there are other guys in glee club???
And love that Finn can’t see well enough to sing... but can drum.
Esp as him singing about scantily clad girls etc... while dancing with cheerios.... I just.... ooF.
I agree with Kurt, casually sitting the side for most of the song. He will not be involved, lol.
He is so not happy about this. Will legit dragged him into the song when he was content to head bop in the back. And then Will gestures to him while singing ‘the girl is stacked’ just... what is he doing??
I wonder if Kurt mouthing ‘oh my god’ was scripted or Chris Colfer actually wondering wtf is happening...
After this he legit goes to the side to just... hide from the insanity. And that’s valid. Kurt has no time for Will’s BS. I also love him shooing Brit away with a tambourine XDD
Kurtcedes is legit the sweetest friendship on the show and it hurts me we get less and less in later seasons.
Also, I love Santana’s reaction to the song, she’s so disgusted.
All so shook to see Puck... wonder if he would make same choice if he wasn’t in super rushed romance w Rachel.
Also, why is Santana so relaxed about it? But when Mercedes and Puck date she goes savage??
Prob partly bc Santana isn’t a real character yet, writing wise, but I like to think it’s bc Mercedes was an actual threat lol.
Trust Kurt to add drama to any situation. I love him.
Sweet that Finn knows how picky Kurt is about his skincare. Legit, this is the only male friendship Kurt is allowed on the show (at least he gets Elliot for a few eps in s5)
And we get the throwaway line that this is when Kurt quit the football team (by announcing in the showers lol). So he was on the team for the last few eps... but we got zero scenes. So rude, I want more football!Kurt dammit.
“Someone get me to a day spa, stat” omg
I love how happy everyone is (look at Artie’s face I diee)
Love an ep called Mash-Up... that has no mash-ups...
ANd that’s all the kurt we get, but next ep he’s more involved!! Wheels!!

So I found someone who counted how much screentime each Glee character had during season 1A and season 4, please take a look: cometsweepandleonidsfly(.)tumblr(.)com/tagged/screen%20time
cometsweepandleonidsfly(.)tumblr(.)com/post/58969910312/screentime-on-glee-in-season-4 (make sure to change showthemwhat to cometsweepandleonidsfly in the episodes' links if you want to see the stats per episode)
Do you have any thoughts on these numbers?
✨Stats time!✨
Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention Anon, and thank you to @cometsweepandleonidsfly. Please read the OG posts for more info on their methodology, limitations and all that. Of course I have thoughts, all of which I will cover but first I'll do what tuiyla does best and take this dataset and turn it into something visual. Or at least try.
So to start us off, main characters' screentime in the OG 13 episodes:
I was surprised to see Will come in with over 40% of screentime and decidedly more than Finn or Rachel. Rachel "only" being third is a surprise in and of itself but the favouring of the three "pillars" is clear. The drop between Rachel and Quinn is not insignificant and it reminds me of how big the difference between singing stats often was. Quinn coming in ahead of Kurt and Puck is somewhat surprising, as is Emma and Sue being so low. But compared to a lot of the ND kids, they had significant roles in their scenes. All in all this deffo confirms my view that there was way too much Will early on and the show was too heavy on its three mains.
Season 4 is looking more evenly distributed even if there's quite the drop between Blaine and Marley. Blaine's lead might seem crazy, but he's in just over 29% of the season compared to Will's well over 40% for the first 13. We have more characters but only three more than what I counted for the previous chart so not too bad distribution wise. What's surprising is the newbies, at least the triangle being so high up and Tina and Artie lagging so far behind Sam. Rachel being in the middle is shocking, of course, but keep in mind she fully missed a few episodes and when she was in a scene chances are it focused solely on her. Kurt being after Kitty is more surprising to me, as is Santana being so far behind. Granted, she missed a lot of episodes but my heart weeps anyway. She's still far ahead of Sue and Emma and I'm once again astonished by the mark Jane Lynch and Jayma Mays leave. I wish we had the numbers for Quinn, Mercedes, Puck and Mike here but oh well.
I love that we have a Lima vs NYC stat because it really puts things into perspective:
Wow. Where's the "too much NYC crowd" now, huh. Of course, this explains why even Rachel is relatively low on the list and how the newbies had so much screentime.
What's interesting is the difference in distribution, i.e. season 4's being imo so much better. In many ways it had to be but still. I tried visualizing it via two pie charts of the percentages but they're not that obvious and so I cba to colour them properly.
Instead, I took those percentages and compared the season 1 characters with the season 4 ones. So the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and etc. characters compared would look like this:
That was a nonsensical sentence but what I mean is, red zone is OG 13 and green season 4. The closer the line is to 50% the more the two seasons are alike in how much they feature characters, and the line generally being over 50% in season 1's favour tells us that the main chs there had more screentime. Again this is partly because season 4 had a bigger cast overall; it featured characters not accounted for within the data. But I'd also argue it distributed the more or less same screentime more equally so that's why Blaine's lead isn't the same as Will's in the OG 13. By the way, ignore the names on the line google sheets just didn't let me delete the redundant labels.
Something hopefully a bit more demonstrative: I divided the OG 13 by, well, 13 and multiplied by 22 to "get a full season" from those stats (notably these are not the full season 1 numbers) and compared those minutes with the season 4 ones. This shows you the difference even better even if we only compare the top 5 characters of each season:
Again ignore the labels, they're the season 1 top 5. Will's screentime projected to 22 episodes is waaaay more than what Blaine got in season 4 and this gap really only starts to balance out once the season 1 drop happens with Quinn and Kurt. Even then, comparatively, they were better featured than their season 4 counterparts, Sam and Ryder. To be fair, I'd much rather watch Quinn and Kurt than Sam and Ryder.
And finally, what I love the most: singing stats and bubble charts! The most I could possibly bring to this conversation is adding singing into the mix and see how that compares to the characters' screentime.
See this reddit post for some background on my singing stats database. What you need to know for this is that I have a system for different types of songs not just the number of songs the given character was featured in, so I give point totals and hope it's a more accurate reflection of how much people sang. And how does that compare to their screentime? Well.
Note that this first chart is a character's OG13 screentime compared to their overall season 1 singing.
Rachel sang the most, unsurprisingly, so her and Finn singing that much more than Will while appearing less created this interesting contrast. All three are waaay ahead in screentime as this perhaps demonstrates better than previous charts, and we see that compared to her screentime Mercedes sang quite a bit. But the difference between our 1%-ers and the proletariat is clear and we see how little Kuinn's screentime mattered, in a sense. Sue and Emma are basically nonexistent on both fronts when compared to others, so much so that even Santana with her back 9 songs almost catches up to the crowd. Make of the rest of this what you will.
Since I realized while writing this that I should have probably looked at how much they sang in the OG 13, here's that chart:
Now this looks quite different and is perhaps the better chart to analyze. Finn is further behind Rachel and her lead in singing is undisputable, whereas Mercedes stays between Finn and Will with singing. Sue didn't get a song in the OG 13 and, sadly, neither did Santana so they're missing entirely. Emma is barely there with her one solo but still ahead of Kurt, who had the screentime but evidently not the songs. His sole entry is the Defying Gravity duet. Quinn had comparatively more in the first 13 and that elevates her above Puck and Tina but I still wouldn't exactly say it's proportionate to her screentime. It's quite all over the place, particularly when compared to season 4:
So season 4 follows more of a trend and what would be expected. Meening, no huuuuge outliers and less of an upper 1% feel, though Blaine is clearly "winning" in terms of both singing and screentime. Marley is second in both regards and we see a more or less clear pattern of singing and screentime collating. Tartie sing somewhat little compared to their screentime but most of it checks out as realistic. How the mighty have fallen with Will being last in terms of singing. But then, of course, we have Pezberry, the only two who I'd say are not following the established trend. Both sing more relative to their screentime than most characters, with Rachel almost being up there with Marley and yet being in the middle with her screentime. This isn't a huge shock or anything. But then we have Santana, who's well behind Will in terms of screentime and yet sings as much as Kurt and is in the same ballpark as the likes of Unique and Tina. This means Santana's time on screen in season 4 was well spent, with the likes of Girl on Fire, Nutbush, Cold Hearted and, of course, Mine. A stark difference to season 1.
Miscellaneous thoughts:
A bit baffled by the decision to include chs like Kent and Brad in the OG 13 post but not the alumni in season 4, but hey I'm not the one doing the research. I ignored non-mains for my OG 13 visualizations.
I would LOVE to see this done for the whole series but obviously it's not like it could ever be truly representative and it would take soooo much effort. I'm grateful for this glimpse at screentime distributions.
I know not all of this was super clear and detailed so please feel free to let me know if I should clarify anything. Like I told another Anon, you will be seeing more stats from me because I do love this sort of stuff and this was really fun to explore. Again much thanks that this dataset exists and I hope I could offer something new and interesting with it.
#glee asks#anon#glee singing statistics#glee screentime statistics#glee stats#this was fun to do i hope it's fun to read too#i need to put more effort into analysing bubble charts they tell SUCH a story

What if there was a Walt Disney Fighting Game? [Video Game Concept]
Note: I am well aware, that Disney would probably never say yes in a million years to this idea. Taking their beloved, child friendly characters and having them fight?!
OH THE HORROR?!
I am also aware there have been concepts for this in the past.
Final Fantasy Dissidia was supposed to be a Kingdom Hearts fighting game, but Nomura felt uncomfortable portraying Disney characters in such a violent atmosphere.
And there are sketches of what a Walt Disney fighting game could've been, inspired by Super Smash Bros, before it was canceled. It would've focused on more violent characters such as Gaston, Beast, Ursula, Captain Hook, Captain Silver and the Horned King. But the idea was dropped.
Here's the link.
This entire post is just building and putting together what a Disney fighting game would look like to me, if one came out in today's world. It's all merely speculation and ideas that's been in the back of my head for awhile.
(Special thanks to @mayflower-gal for helping me set this up. 😁)
Anyways, let's get started!
Part 1: The Plot
For the plot, I believe it would have to be something simple, since this an idea for a first game. It's the start of a potentially huge franchise, so I wanna keep it not only simple, but an aspect that helps kick off the potential series. And pull in many fans, old and new of Disney.
Let's take into account one thing: what's a recurring theme across various Disney movies (and overall media)?
Is it the lovable, comic relief sidekick that makes audiences laugh? Is it the songs that kids find themselves singing, long after the tale is done and the curtain has closed? Is it perhaps, the clever celebrity choices for important side characters?
No, It's the one defining aspect that draws in audiences, both new and old, bringing you to fall in love with the characters as the story is told:
Wishes.
Pinocchio wishes to be a real boy. Beast and all his servants wish to be human again. Tiana wishes to have her own restaurant. Ariel wishes to see the world beyond the sea.
Everyone wishes for something more in their life and have dreams that they wish come true.
What if all those wishes were counted? Collected?
Watched over. Much like a parent to their children. Or a teacher to their students.
Found engaging. Found entertaining. Found comforting. Found peaceful. Found introspective.
Looked at with childlike wonder and glee when accomplished.
But frowned on when those wish for selfish desires. And an even deeper disappointment at those very same inhuman desires, coming true.
Good and bad exists inside every person, it's just a matter of what one chooses to act on and stand by at the end of the day.
What someone wishes for is reflective of that.
Now imagine that same being coming to life and wrecking havoc across the Disney universe. Judging for themself, if any of these colorful, imaginative characters, truly deserve their...
Happily,
Ever
After.
Yep, the main plot of the story mode is all the various Disney characters literally fighting for wishes and dreams to come true...
against the LITERAL embodiment of wishing upon a star.
Each playable character having their own unique ending.
Some endings being repeats of your favorite Disney movies, with some minor changes to acknowledge the game's plot. While others are original due to the wide cast of characters that are available, besides your favorite Disney Heroes.
For example, you beat the story mode as say, Pinocchio, he wishes to be a real boy.
I know it sounds very redundant since a majority of these things already happen in the Disney movies, but I feel as though relieving them would be fun. In addition to some original ones that didn't happen with either the villains or less major characters.
It's only the hypothetical first game and I wanted start with something simple, that fans could easily get into. More complex plots, with more character interactions should be saved for any possible sequels.
Part 2: The Gameplay
The game would be your typical 2D fighting game. You have,
Combos exclusive to every character that requires practice.
Playstyles that make each character feel unique.
Special moves for each character to get the upper hand and the main focus in besting your opponent in 1 VS 1 matches.
Of course, there's dialogue before fights in the character intros. With so many to pick from, it had to be put in somewhere.
It resembles 2D fighting games that you've all no doubt heard of, such as Marvel VS Capcom or Street Fighter.
But what would a Disney fighting game have to offer on the table, in order to survive the overall video game market?
It would have to be something unique and a feature that not only gives it originality, but a chance to stand out with so much creativity and innovation. Practically begging fans for more.
Which is why I present to you: Disney Songs.
Or as this game prompt will call them: Musical Finales.
The highlight of many Disney movies and overall media, the music is what leaves a lasting impression on many audiences. Which is not surprising, since Disney is mostly a musical. At least in terms of most of their films.
With so many iconic songs from throughout the company's history, of course I'll be squeezing them somehow!
Each character has a music meter, that can only be filled up with how the player times and follows the beat of the character they play as. Follow the rhythm and beat of a character, and it will fill up quicker. Get cut off by the opponent and it doesn't fill up.
That beat being the music of the stage each player fights on, by attacking to the music and the same time. Think of it like the Sound Battles mechanic in Mother 3.
Every character has four different kinds of attacks: Neutral, Musical, Wonderful and Special.
Neutral Attacks are normal attacks that are mostly used to set up combos.
Musical Attacks are attacks that deal more impact, when timed with the music of the stage.
Wonderful Attacks can be seen as character oriented attacks, that embody the personality and charm of the character you play as. And can be used to entertain the audience. We'll get into that later.
Special Attacks are unique finisher moves that require a separate meter to be filled up, as with most fighting games.
Now what happens when the music meter is full? A Disney Song starts playing of course!
Say you filled up Cinderella's music meter for example, then "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" starts playing, granting some unique abilities for Cinderella.
Each song would grant different outcomes and bonuses for the various characters. They're not Special Attacks, as that's already a separate mechanic already.
For example, "Part of Your World" starts playing if you're playing as Ariel, filling up the stage with water and slowing down the opponent, giving Ariel a chance to either take advantage of that, bump items into them or create big waves of water.
But what happens if BOTH characters trigger the music meter at the same time?!
Well, that's where this gimmick becomes a fight for which song keeps on playing!
Both songs would start playing, both at the same time and volume. Except, both characters have to compete to see which is stronger.
This is done by the two characters fighting, before triggering a rhythm game between the two. Once one is the victor, the other song fades, while the other stays playing. Doubling the duration of that character's Musical Finale.
Another mechanic is the Entertainment Meter. Every level you fight on has one, that determines which fighter the audience likes more. Via Wonderful attacks, you can charm the audience into supporting you more. This activates things like getting healing items or stat boosts in power and speed. Some of your favorite Disney sidekicks even provide aid from the audience!
It's almost like watching a Disney movie live and being able to interact with the story!
Or the battle system in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.
I feel as though this is the best way of keeping the game interesting, giving it an identity of its own and still embodying that magic people will grow to love. It can also lead to some entertaining interactions in the background or foreground of a stage, as the music meter also brings in characters that would not be playable, but support playable characters nonetheless. Like Flounder and Sebastian.
Of course, either feature could be turned off if you're not a fan of that sort of thing, but that's a given.

Part 4: The Roster
The bread and butter of many fighting games, the roster is no doubt one I had a bit of trouble putting together. With so many characters from over the years, it's no surprise. But since this is the outline of a possible first game, here's my interpretation.
Also, the cast is big to avoid being too barren or dull.
And because I had a lot of fun putting it all together.
Mickey Mouse (Mickey Mouse): The all around character of the game, he mostly fights by a series of cartoonish tricks, magic tricks and his paintbrush from Epic Mickey. His Special Attack would have him break the fourth wall like and rewind the fight like an old film projector in reverse. Except he heals, while the opponent receives twice the damage. His Musical Finale "Sorcerer's Apprentice" has him use Yensid's Sorcerer hat to its fullest and give his overall moveset more flashes to distract the opponent and slow them down.
Donald Duck (Donald Duck): Everyone's favorite, greedy mallard and the world's angriest duck. Donald would fight mainly with toon force, his fists, his bad luck and his anger. The more damage he takes, the angrier he gets. His Special Attack would have him don the Duck Avenger persona from his PK days and use a series of superhero gadgets to finish the opponent. His Musical Finale "The Three Caballeros" trades his anger for Jose Carioca and Panchito Pistoles showing up, making him happy. As they hurt the opponent, each time they hit Donald, to keep him happy.
Goofy (Goofy): Everyone's favorite Disney dad, Goofy joins the fight as not the brightest but with the biggest heart. He has toon force to aid him in some unconventional ways. His Special Attack would have him become Super Goof from his older days. His Musical Finale "Eye To Eye" would restore health everytime he dodges an attack, with a dancing flair to it.
Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarves): The first Disney Princess, Snow White makes her debut and she's not alone. The Seven Dwarves direct most of her attacks, such as tossing rocks, mining tools as weapons and even just grabbing the opponent and tossing them. Snow White herself can sing and command woodland animals to tie up opponents or just fight to defend her. Her Special Attack would have the Dwarves try to roll a boulder, only for lightning to strike on the opponent and the boulder as extra damage. Her Musical Finale "Whistle While You Work" will call on a huge number of forest animals, as they tidy up the stage and Snow White, slowly replenishing her health and slowing down the opponent.
Pinocchio (Pinocchio): Don't lie in his presence, as that nose is not only for show. Pinocchio fights mostly by using his nose as a staff, the Blue Fairy bringing other toys to life to aid him and Jiminy Cricket distracting the opponent with music. Pinocchio's Special Attack would have him wish upon a star and turn himself into a real boy, as the opponent is turned into a puppet and loses damage as a result. Pinocchio's Musical Finale "I've Got No Strings" would cover the stage in thin lines used for puppets: if the opponent touches one, their frozen briefly. If a projectile attack hits, the same happens.
Cinderella (Cinderella): The bell of the ball and someone whom never gives up on kindness, Cinderella will use the dance moves she showed off at the ball for her moveset, having a dancing and musical feel to how she plays and flashy dances to win against the the opponent. With her Fairy Godmother using her magic to help her, such as flashes of light. Her Special Attack would have the clock strike midnight and she leaves behind her glass slipper: once the opponent touches it they get weighed down by a giant magic dress. Cinderella's Musical Finale "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" would have the Fairy Godmother cast a series of spells over the stage, as a new carriage pops up every time Cinderella pulls off a combo. The carriages run over the opponent and can even carry Cinderella to safety.
Peter Pan (Peter Pan): Leader of the Lost Boys and Captain Hook's second biggest pain in the butt, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell are here. Peter Pan has a pocket knife with him and Tinker Bell's pixie dust for aerial attacks. His Special Attack would have him toss a bunch of gold on the opponent, as the rest of the Lost Boys tackles them and beats them up for the treasures. His Musical Finale "You Can Fly" would create a trail of pixie dust behind him, that randomly causes the opponent to either jump too high or too low.
Captain Hook (Peter Pan): Keep all 'ticks' and 'tocks' away from this pirate! Captain Hook has a wide array of hooks to switch between, a flintlock pistol and his sword to win the battle. His Special Attack would have him run away from the Tick-Tock the Crocodile, as said crocodile attacks the opponent instead of Hook. His Musical Finale "A Pirate's Life/Elegant Captain Hook" would call his ship the Jolly Rodger onto the stage, as the pirates on the ship occasionally throw knives at the opponent and shoot at them, everytime Hook is caught in a combo and can't escape.
Aurora (Sleeping Beauty): Aurora, sleeping beauty herself, is doing anything but sleep and her guardians are making sure of that! Her attacks has the Good Fairies use their magic in numerous ways, such as moving objects, animating objects and even petrification. Her Special Attack has Prince Philip show up with the Sword of Truth and the Shield of Virtue, to deal heavy damage on the opponent. Her Musical Finale "Once Upon A Dream" boosts her stats everytime she's hit.
Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty): The Mistress of all Evil, Maleficent uses a wide array of magic powers from cursed, throny vines, to her iconic green fires, she's one tough fighter from a distance. Her Musical Finale "Once Upon A Dream" would have her make the opponent more drowsy, each time they hit her, until falling asleep, unless they keep moving.
Robin Hood (Robin Hood): The sly fox of England and one talented theif, this fox focuses on disguises, archery, swordsmanship and woodsmanship to make his way. His Special Attack would have authorities show up to arrest him, as they rain down arrows on the opponent in the process. His Musical Finale "Running Through The Forest" would allow him to dodge all attacks, without needing to hit the controls or input buttons.
Basil of Baker Street (The Great Mouse Detective): World's greatest detective! At least in the mouse world that is. Basil would investigate the stage of the fight, much like a crime scene and even pick up clues that double as weapons, such as a propeller or a mouse trap. His Special Attack would have him investigate a crime scene that hurt the opponent, before pushing them aside as 'worthless' evidence. His Musical Finale "Let Me Be Good To You" would have him require no further evidence and counter each hit with a deduction on his opponent's crime and even stop them from performing combos. Doing damage in the process.
Professor Ratigan (The Great Mouse Detective): Never call him a rat. Ever. This crime boss of the miniature crime world be no stranger to fist fights and gleefully take a swing at your demise, whether it's his fists, cane or traps. If not him, then his minions are more than happy to drown some orphans! His Special Attack would have him call his pet cat, Felicia to devour the opponent. His Musical Finale "The World's Greatest Criminal Mind" would give him more durability to hits, more destruction to the stage and traps cover more range on the stage.
Ariel (The Little Mermaid): Princess of the Sea, everyone's favorite mermaid is ready to explore beyond the sea. Armed with her father's trident, some amazing swimming skills and various sea animals at her command, she's more than ready. As a bonus, if she's infront of a mirror that's on the stage, her reflection will be her true form.
Belle (Beauty and the Beast): My, quite an odd girl, reading books and getting on the field of battle?! Belle's entire moveset would revolve around books; not magic books, just books on the rest of the cast and fairytales overall. She would be able to switch between each of these books and use what she's learned from them. For Example, 'Romeo and Juliet' gives Belle immunity to stat changes and rose themed weapons that hurt the opponent, like throwing weapons. 'Aladdin' gives her a magic ring that can conjure up magic smoke, furniture on the foe and teleport her. 'Jack and the Beanstalk' plants vines that can raise her up or entangle the foe. There's more books at her disposal, but that's just the general idea. Her Special Attack has her father ride in on his invention, chopping up an entire forest until the opponent is covered and crushed by chopped up logs. Her Musical Finale "Tale As Old As Time" gives her the power to 'skip' a fairytale, turning each of her attacks into the endings from the books. For example, 'Aladdin' would trap the opponent in an oil lamp, leaving room for her to attack.
Beast (Beauty and the Beast): The poor and cruel prince, turned into a monster as evil as the one in his heart. Beast has his boost in strength from his beastly form and claws to defeat the opponent. The curse not only affected him: his servants are by his side. Lumiere can incinerate the opponent or plant fires on the ground, Cogsworth can distract them with timed clock sounds, Mrs. Potts can spill tea to slip up the opponent, Chip will knock over bookshelves and Wardrobe can block attacks. Gaston has his inconic blunderbass and his fists, along with a bow and quiver and a hunting knife to deal with an opponent, almost as if they were an animal he's hunting. His Special Attack would have an angry mob charge at the opponent and beat them up. His Musical Finale "Gaston" gives him a strength boost, everytime he pulls off a combo successfully.
Aladdin (Aladdin): Everyone's favorite street rat and theif, he's not alone on the field of battle as Abu and Genie are here to help him. Abu can cling to the opponent and hit them repeatedly, Magic Carpet can be used for aerial attacks, Aladdin has a sword that he 'borrowed' from a guard and Genie can shape-shift in a variety of ways to best the opponent. Aladdin's Special Attack would have Genie distract the opponent, as Aladdin steals something off them and uses it to beat them. Aladdin's Music Finale "Friend Like Me" would have Genie grant a wish, each time Aladdin gets a combo, such as a stat boosts and healing.

Occasionally tapping into the phenenomal, Cosmic power of his Genie form to do some real damage. And Iago is here as well... mostly to complain. His Special Attack would have him become an all powerful Genie and Iago wishing for ways to 'hurt' (not kill) the opponent. His Musical Finale "You're Only Second Rate" would boost all of his stats and attacks, except he can't KO the opponent until the Musical Finale is done.
Simba (The Lion King): King of the Pride Rock and son of Mufasa, the Lion King himself is more than prepared with his claws and iconic roar. His roar can even control the weather to strike lightning and cause windstorms. His Special Attack would have him call on the spirit of his father, Mufasa, as the two of them roar at the opponent. And that's that. A LOT longer than I thought it would be. Now your probably thinking, what about all the other Disney media? It's an idea for the first game, so other characters (Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Scrooge McDuck, Goliath, Kim Possible, etc.) would appear in a potential sequel.

Snippet of Made This Promise (Always I Dreamed About You)
(PLS LOOK UPON AND ADMIRE MY NEW AU)
...
She was six now. It had been four months since she woke up and realized the moon was wrong, and she had gotten much better at faking being “normal”. She let Raven do all the playing and talking to Qrow, and sometimes her Not-Raven side came out to sing a lullaby to Qrow that had been written for the show she was now in. Qrow loved the song, he liked to sing it back when she was feeling too unmoored from the world again and needed to remember what it felt like to have hands and feet and a body that lived in this storybook world instead of just existed. But today was a good day to be just Raven, and so she had been just Raven, playing with her brother as they ran around in the woods just on the edges of the village. Close enough to be safe from grimm, but far enough it felt like adventure. Qrow and Raven were on a fallen log, giggling and shouting and making a game of who could run along it fastest. Everything was fine. They’d done this game for ages, and the log was perfectly dry and had nice places just perfect for small feet to step without slipping.
Somewhere between one breath and the next, Raven slipped anyway.
She glimpsed Qrow’s face shift from glee to horror, felt something hard hit her neck before the rest of her and-.
Level boost acquired. Assign skill points?
…What?
Raven tried to blink, but it felt like she had no eyes to blink with. No body to move at all. There was just the black void and the bold white letters in front of her like the screen of a video game.
…Why not. Her life was already a storybook. Why not a video game too?
Feeling possibly too calm, especially compared to her continued struggle with living in a story, Raven tried to find a hand to push the “yes” option. It blinked like it had been pressed just by her thought, and then she could see her … stats apparently. Memories of a lifetime once riddled with video games told her that they were pretty pathetic, but she was only six, so that was understandable. She stared thoughtfully at the names of each stat, trying to figure out which ones they were and what they translated too. Thankfully, health was called just that, none of that confusing “vitality” or “durability” stuff some games used instead. She had six different stats. Strength, Dexterity, Health, Intelligence, Wisdom —why were those two different things? Who knew—, and … Soul? What was Soul supposed to be?
Soul, a sudden pop up window in the black void told her, was the attribute that determined strength of certain abilities like Aura, Semblance, or Magic —the last one was probably only useful if she became a Maiden, which she had no intention of thank you—. Still. Aura and Semblance were important in the show.
She checked all the others just in case, so she knew what they did. Strength was obvious, how much she could lift, how strong her own attacks would be, things like that. Dexterity was speed, balance, agility, reflexes, all the fun things for someone used to playing speedy characters and who liked to run around as a child with her twin. Health was how many hits she could take without her Aura before she died. Intelligence was … the ability to memorize information? Or use it to invent strategies. Which- okay. Useful. Wisdom was intuition, instinct, empathy, things that were more figuring out the world around her rather than the stuff in books or maps.
She had only six skill points to spend, so she could just give one to each if she wanted, but that felt a bit pointless. Raven dithered over how to assign her points at first, torn between the childish urge to just pick one and give them all to that or the older instinct to start working toward a specific type of build for a character —for her, since these were her stats apparently—. In the end, she gave two to Dexterity, two to Soul —because Semblance and Aura were basically magic and that was cool—, and two to Intelligence, because while Wisdom sounded more interesting, the older part of Raven didn’t want to forget what she knew, and insisted that a boost to memory would be good.
Points assigned. Save changes and resume?
…Yeah, sure.
Raven blinked back to a world where she had a body instead of a black void with white text and immediately started coughing, because in the void she hadn’t needed to breathe, and now she desperately wanted air. Someone was hugging her tight and … crying?
Why was Qrow crying? He looked devastated by something, bawling his lungs out as he held her so tight it hurt. Raven squinted past the tears falling on her face and clumsily reached up to pat Qrow’s face. She hummed her lullaby for him, because she couldn’t think of what else to do when she couldn’t remember why Qrow would be crying —she had slipped off the tree, big deal, stuff happened—. Qrow sniffed loudly, stared at her in surprise, then started crying harder, babbling a jumbled mix of apologies and pleas and story of how she had hit the rock by the fallen log so hard and he’d heard this horrible noise and then she’d just been lying there, not moving or talking or waking up and he’d been so scared-.
Raven sat up and whimpered a little herself because her neck was so sore. It throbbed much worse than the times she’d slept wrong, an aching drum of feeling that went up her neck into her … head. Oh. “I’m okay,” she reassured her twin with more gentle pats to his hair, “I just- got knocked out by the rock.” She must have hit her head on the way down and it temporarily knocked her out, reasoned the older half of her. The younger half just agreed easily and sniffled a little over how sore she was now. “It was just a bit of bad luck. Let’s go home.”

Just watched a video on YouTube called "Who sang the most in glee? :)" and the person added up singing times for the main ND members (total and by season). Kurt was number 4, Blaine 3, and Mercedes 2 and they all had over an hour and a half but less than 2 hours total singing time. Then Rachel at number 1 had...over 4 hours of singing time!?! I knew it wasn't balanced but I didn't know it would be by that much. Anyway, an interesting video. :)
I had a look at the video you are referring to. I was about surprised by some of the amounts of time they say per season.
For Blaine season 2, they say he sang 12 minutes? Total? That really can’t be right - 9 solos (8 with Warblers) and 4 duets? And in season 6 they said he sung 8 minutes only, when I can think of at least 8 songs he was a part of? Or am I reading their stats wrong? Or is it just based on solos alone, but it gives examples of some duets? I would think he’d a lot more. Plus Kurt wasnt far behind him, and he had half as many solos, spread over the six seasons.
Rachel did have a lot more than the rest of them, it’s very noticeable season 1 especially, maybe yes well in front. But my guess is Blaine’s is certainly wrong.
Mercedes is only a little ahead of Blaine, she did have season 1’of course to bring her average up.
Anyone else surprised?

Favorite place in The Last City(if it’s a place you created, give a little description!): The Hollow Cairn. This is a place where many once-invading species have attacked throughout history, and it has sunken into the ground since due to the massive destruction created over centuries. However, the place has since become a point of unity for everyone, with communities of Hive, Cabal, Humans, Eliksni, etc. all building shelters within the crater and living together. It’s a bustling district, and only because Magnus sacrificed so much of himself and his efforts to unify everyone.

Least favorite exotic armor: One-Eyed Mask
5 things your Guardian dislikes(this can be anything): Dishonesty, disloyalty, feeling hopeless, giving up, loss
Your Guardian has to rest. What is their living space like: It’s well-managed, with a LOT of collectibles from all around the galaxy in display cases, organized on shelves and wall hangers, and on tables. Magnus loves to collect trinkets that have meaning to him.
Does your Guardian have any casual wear?(Y'all remember Polyvore? The website URSTYLE works very similar if that helps!):
What hobbies and/or skills does you Guardian have: Writing and reciting poetry, learning languages (speaks English, Ulurent, Eliksni all fluently), fighting, crafting armor, singing
What would your Guardian’s lore book be called: Broken Broker
Where was your Guardian reborn?(If you created the location, give us a little description!): Sector 25 in The Last City
What were they wearing when they were reborn: Scorched black cotton hoodie, worn-out black jeans, beat-up sneakers
What was their reaction to being reborn: FIGHT, AND DEFEND THE PEOPLE!!!
What was their reaction to their first rez: Sheer confusion, then immediate duty
After being reborn, did they meet friendlies first or hostiles: Both. He met Vex who were attacking and rampaging The Last City, but fought them and was then met by Zavala who’d come to handle the situation, only to see a new Guardian had already done this. Zavala saw the distress on Magnus’s face at this, and assured him over and over again.
Who was the first other Guardian they met?(Same thing! If you made them, give a little description!): Zavala
Did your Guardian get reborn with, or find, any indication of their past life? If so what do they have/found: Magnus has no indication of his past life, and knows nothing about it. He assumes he wasn’t Reefborn, but he partially wonders if he was just because of his vehement hatred for Mara Sov. Magnus can’t find anything on who he was, nor does he really care to know.
How did your Guardian get their name(if they didn’t rez with past life momentos): He knew/remembered it, and also Einar addressed him by “Magnus” when he was first revived and woke up.
Going back to your Guardian’s lore book, what would be some some quotes or passages from their book: Two passages are actually readable at my Ao3, dawnbreakerdystopia! Most of the lorebook passages would recount the tales of Magnus’s efforts to join the warring species of the galaxy together in unity, and would likely use the Hammer of Sol which he wields as a metaphor, leading those who read them to wonder if Magnus actually wielded it (he does). The passages would also recount the daring exploits he’s done to protect his friends, family, the training he put Ghaul through to be a strong and independent Guardian, and overall they’d just be written like poetic legends.
Does your Guardian have a significant other: Cayde-6, and they’re married.
Did your Guardian go explore first before going to The Last City? If so, where to: Magnus never explored until he was resurrected.
What was their reaction to first seeing The Last City: This place needs defenders.
Is your Guardian a part of a clan: Not officially. He’s sort of a part of every group regardless of whether he chooses to be or not. Life finds a way to drag him into them all.
Does your Guardian’s clan have a back story? If so, what is it?(if you want to or able to share): N/A
If your Guardian would have a quote as a flavor text for a weapon and/or piece of armor, what would they be: “I’ve got a thousand years on me, and for each year, a million lives. I can’t bear to sacrifice any one but my own.”
If your Guardian has had any interactions with any civilians (The Last City/The Farm), Eliksni, Cabal, Vex, Hive, Taken, Scorn, Rouge Lightbearers, or Iron Lords/War Lords(if your Guardian is an Old Light) tell us about it!: Magnus has unified Cabal and Humankind, mostly, because he was brought by the Traveler to Ghaul who was resurrected as a Guardian himself. He’s had plenty of rough encounters with them, but nowadays, they accept him as their Evocate General, and bend to his every command (Magnus NEVER abuses this). Magnus has had very few positive interactions with Hive, as Savathun and Oryx have constantly tried to seduce him with Darkness and ruin him. He struggles to trust Hive, but knows that there is good in everything just as there is bad, nothing is inherently evil, and thus, he has to and does accept Hive who are willing to be his allies. Magnus’s interactions with Eliksni have always been positive, and he’s always gotten along with them. Scorn and Vex, he has yet to meet any who’d be willing to work with him. Magnus personally hates the Vex entirely, but still holds out the belief that there is at least one out there who’s good and friendly.
Does your Guardian have any unconventional allies or connections(By Vanguard standards): PLENTY!!!! Ghaul, Spider, being Evocate General of Cabal, you name it.
How does your Guardian feel about themselves or others using Stasis: Magnus is against himself using it. He understands that others can make use of the power, but he HATES the Darkness, and would never trust a single thing from it, let alone a “gift” which would inevitably corrupt him, not to mention bring him nearer to it which he refuses to do.
Did they run The Last Wish raid? How did they react to seeing a live Ahamkara a.k.a Riven: Magnus has not run this raid yet.
Did they run The Deep Stone Crypt raid? How did they react to the Crypt and seeing Exo Eliskni: Magnus has not run this raid yet, either.
Is your Guardian from D1? How did they react to seeing Taniks alive once again: He’s not from D1
Where did they go and what did they do during The Red War: Magnus followed the main story, and was the only Lightbearer, thus he spearheaded the entire operation and literally held the fate of every single life on his shoulders and his alone. He fought, nonstop, and never gave up or slowed down.
Here are some characters that are either polarizing or have created a strong enough mass emotion within the community. What opinion does your Guardian hold on each of them(These are only a handful of characters!)>>>
Osiris, First Warlock Vanguard, originally exiled: Magnus looks up to Osiris for his wisdom, only a little, though, and he’d never tell Osiris this. Both of them know it, though, and words are not necessary to convey their mutual respect.
Eris Morn, Bane of the Swarm: He loves her, he wants to help her at all costs, and he knows to never pity Eris, or try protecting her without asking if she needs protection first, as she’s highly capable and strong-willed.
Cayde-6, Sixth Hunter Vanguard: Magnus is fucking head over HEELS for him, and would lay his life on the line for Cayde. He was devastated beyond words when Uldren killed him, but came to understand that it was the Darkness’s doing, not Uldren’s. And thus, he forgave him.
Ikora Rey, Second Warlock Vanguard: Mom. She’s just straight-up his mom.
Commander Zavala, Second Titan Vanguard: Mentor, dad-like friend, always reliable.
Saint-14, legendary Titan, First Titan Vanguard: Extreme respect, love, honors him deeply, aspires to be like him, MUST PROTECT!!!
Lord Saladin, Iron Banner handler, One of the last remaining Iron Lords: Indifferent. Magnus entirely disagrees with and somewhat hates what the Iron Lords did, but he senses good in Saladin and sees it as well. He holds onto that good, as he does for everything and everyone.
Lord Shaxx, Crucible handler, Hero of Twilight Gap, living megaphone: FRIEND!!! Always a good motivator, always reliable, selfless af which Magnus respects, and Magnus aspires to be so much like him. Is also slightly intimidated by Shaxx.
The Crow, New Light, Ex-Enforcer to The Spider: Friend, must be protected, is a new person and not Uldren, is capable of great things and must be guided to do just that. Magnus sees Crow follows his heart, and that’s more than enough for him to know this man is on the right path.
The Spider, The Shore’s Only Law, founder of “House” Spider: DAD!!! Spider adopted Magnus after (reluctantly at first) he went to Spider with a bounty from the Vanguard saying to kill him. Magnus knew this had to be a setup, it was, and Spider was immediately thankful, and then began calling Magnus his son. Both of them trust each other with everything and anything, and Magnus knows Spider is a good man at heart.
Uldren Sov, Prince of the Reef, Master of Crows: No. Don’t trust him, he’s misguided as FUCK!
Mara Sov, Queen of the Reef, Queen of the Awoken, Ex-Kell of Wolves: FUCK! YOU!!! Magnus would throw her off the throne and take it himself if he wasn’t so busy being Evocate General. He’d imprison her until her natural death. The things Mara has done, to the Awoken, the galaxy, and her brother, are unforgiveable, and she MUST pay for that.
Variks, the Loyal, founder of House Judgement: A friend, an ally, someone Magnus can rely on. He values Variks, even if he made mistakes in the past, but Magnus is a firm believer in destiny, and thus thinks Variks’s actions have been done for a reason which is to bring the world to the present it’s at.
Mithrax, the Forsaken, Kell of Light, founder of House Light: Absolutely reliable, always a good friend, Magnus will drop everything and go help protect Mithrax or aid him in his endeavors if he’s able. Magnus loves him as a close friend, and is deeply bound to House Light.
The Exo Stranger/Elizabeth “Elsie” Bray, Granddaughter of Clovis I and Sister to Ana Bray: Can be trusted, must be trusted, and Magnus also takes pity on her for what she went through both in the future, and by the hands of Clovis Bray.
Eramis, of House Salvation, Kell of Darkness: FUCK NOPE, don’t trust, avoid at all costs.
Empress Caiatl of the Cabal Imperial Empire: An ally and definitely trustable. Her motives are questionable, but Magnus understands where she’s coming from, and therefore believes she can be a great companion with some compromise.
Taniks the Scarred, the Perfected, the Abomination, the Shadow Thief: Nooooooooooooo get away get away get away GET AWAY!!!
The Darkness is fast approaching. How is your Guardian handling it: A N X I E T Y! !! !!!! ! !! But Magnus is taking action, fighting it head-on and never backing down for even a moment. He refuses to let the Darkness take hold, and aims to destroy it entirely once and for all.
And finally, does your Guardian have any advice for any New Lights: “The Darkness is a lie, but the Light is true. Nobody can see in the shadows of night, so it’s your duty as a Guardian to eclipse the world in endless sun, and create a world everyone can see within and beyond.”
