Shared Solutions no longer helps me since, A., Blue Shield stopped allowing brand name Copaxone, and B., I don’t live in the USA anyway. All this hassle and bureaucratic bungling bullshit to receive a LEGAL drug that has to be shipped cold, making shipping costs astronomical only to break my fucking balls over the fact that it’s a 3 month supply. All I can say is Mallory at CVS/SPECIALTY was such a GEM!! I’m also grateful to Blue Shield for the much needed override so that I can have my medication. Glatiramer acetate (generic Copaxone) is perishable and needs to be refrigerated and it’s close to $400 to ship here. Last month Blue Shield refused the 90 day supply fulfillment, saying I only get 1 vacation override and already had 2. But this is no vacation as neither me nor my wife want to be here. CALIFORNIA is home and this is to care for a sick mother-in-law, not enjoy ourselves. In fact, I so desperately want to go home. So kudos to Mallory at CVS/SPECIALTY for making this happen. $389/month priority shipping is too much.
