April had finally given into her sister’s request to take some of her holiday and finally come down to visit family and spend some time with her nephew, Jenny had wanted her to see if she could find out what seemed to be bothering her son and if spending quality time with his aunt might boost his spirits. Hearing that her nephew, her family, needed her left April with little other choice. She had arranged with her sister for her to pick up Nathan from school so she could surprise him, what she hadn’t expected was to have a surprise herself. Walking through the corridor of the school after asking for directions, the brunette found herself frozen in place at the sight of someone she hadn’t seen in years. “Williams?” Her voice was laced  with shock as she called his last name.

(You asked for it. Probs done this before but oh well) Patrick is on a bender. He's been drunk every day since finding out and the press are having a field day with him. He managed to compose himself enough for the funeral because he was told he couldn't go otherwise but he's really not coping. Davina has their daughter until she thinks he can get himself together long enough to properly raise the next Queen.

              THE LAST THING ORION wanted was to deal with a social worker. he, of course, orion KNEW he didn’t have a choice but to deal with it. he got a substitute for his art class and stayed at home to clean. shay was away at school herself and wouldn’t come home until later in the day. he made sure ALL THE TOYS were put away and there was nothing that the social worker could trip on when she entered the home. it wasn’t exactly a BIG PLACE, but it did them well enough---------orion and shay got by and that seemed to be enough for them. when the doorbell rang, orion wiped SWEATY PALMS against his shirt and smiled as he opened the door and introduced himself to the young woman. “ hello, ms. westwood, is it? hi, i’m orion. why don’t you come in ?? ” with that said, he OPENS THE DOOR wider for the woman to pass, side-stepping out of the way. wanting to become the PRIMARY guardian of his daughter, this was... unfortunately, a necessary step in the process. he was HOPING things would work out.

So it has come to my recent attention that I, the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, have reached the holiest of grails. The fabled 100+ followers ( I add the little + there because then you think I have a million when I really have 101 oh the dastardly cleverness I possess ). To commemorate such a feat as I have never feated before, I shall bestow upon you a list. A list of fortuitous greatness in the ways of writing. A list of noble persons who gift to me worlds of magic and mayhem. There has been pain and there has been great woe, I have made many a friend and few of foe. Here is an incomplete list of those who make this blog and my life that much better for being in it and I gift these people to you, weary follower, so that they may bemuse and delight you as well.

Meeting the Family 💝

Spencer knew that meeting Lexie's family was quite likely going to end in his death, although Lex did promise him he'd be alive by the end of it. He wished he had met them as a friend first, but now he was the boy who was courting their daughter - and that was the exact word phrase that would go through his head; courting. He respected her too much to just pressure her into sex, and was more than happy with cuddling in bed all night. Spencer also knew that Lex kept he art from her father, and he hated that she had to do that. Needless to say, he had been working countless hours to put together something just for her.

He made her an art easel - on locking wheels - and a paintbrush holder. He had set it up in his yard by the pool, because he figured it was a nice day out, and why not spend his last hours alive outside. When she arrived at his place, he kissed her cheek softly. "I have a surprise for you.." He blushed, then stood behind her, covering her eyes with his hands. He probably still smelt just like sawdust with a hint of wood stainer. He lead her out to the yard, and uncovered her eyes, hoping it was a positive reaction. “Do uh.. do you like it?”

Mason, Patrick has a reputation so do you think he'd ever cheat on you?

For Mason, there are two answers to this question. The publicly acceptable response that has been practiced and answered more than once. And of course, there’s the private answer, the answer that he’s talked about with Patrick before. 

Publicly acceptable response:

“Everyone has a past. Everyone has a reputation. My husband is no different. The fact of the matter is that I trust him. He knows that I trust him. And as with any relationship, trust is at the center and trust is of course what matters the most.” 

Private response: 

“Early in our relationship, long before we were married, long before we were engaged even, it was something that I worried about. Not because there wasn’t trust there. But because it is very easy to get caught up in reputations and stories and rumors when a relationship is new. But Patrick and I have talked about it. And I trust him. I trust that those days are behind him.”

This was a long time coming, even though I’d resisted doing this for so long... It’s always very unfortunate when this happens, but I’m going to clear most of the drafts I have up until the last few weeks (though I’m keeping all the starters I’ve been meaning to answer or make), start on a clean slate to match my slow ass -- recovering from Hurricane Harvey as well as dealing with school starting up again caused a major mood drop, and I sincerely apologize.
