“We’re all clear on the schedule, but I’ll repeat it for your sake,” you announced.
Your team was huddled around you, right outside the airport, with their luggage in their hands. You’d landed in Seoul less than an hour ago.
“So, right now, we’re going to take a cab to the hotel our company has booked us. We’ll rest, let our bodies recharge and adjust—because we left on Friday morning and reached Saturday morning in thirteen hours.” You grimaced. “Dunno about you, but my mind needs to adjust.”
You received collective groans of agreement in response.
“Great, you feel me. So we all do that first. And then we’ll collect in the lobby after lunch, at around 4 pm? I’ll have a word with BTS’ manager, and he’ll arrange for our commute. I’ll update you of the exact time, then. For now, let’s just go grab naps.”
You all hailed three taxis to the hotel, with Sana grabbing you by the elbow to make you sit with her. You did so, with a frown. She looked nervous.
“Y/N!” she almost wailed as soon as you’d shut the door.
The driver looked at her in alarm. You winced in embarrassment, and apologized in Korean. He started the car without a word.
“Sana, compose yourself. What is the matter with you?” you scolded the girl.
“Y/N, how am I gonna face him? I might freeze up at sight! And—and what if my brain starts to think up scenarios from… oh God, you won’t believe the kind of fanfiction-stuff I’ve read about him!”
Your ears started to warm up. You had some idea. It had been a while, sure, but you could still vividly remember the kind of fanfictions you yourself had indulged in—
Wait a second. This girl was gonna make you nervous, too!
“Okay, Sana, enough. It doesn’t matter how cute you find Yoongi, he’s our client. We’re gonna have to be formal with him. At all costs. We mess it up, we lose our jobs. You get that? So, think about your husband, try to be the professional woman he married, and for God's sake, stop making me overthink shit!”
Sana shut up, then, but her eyes still looked worried. "How do you do it, Y/N?"
You frowned. "How do I do what? I don't have a fucking crush on Yoongi!"
She gave a small laugh, looking slightly more at ease. "Exactly! How?"
You blinked, confused.
"I mean," she elaborated, "not just him. In general. How do you manage to not get dragged down by feelings and stuff?"
"I kinda had to." You snorted. "People are like leeches, Sana. You only stand a chance for a good, peaceful life if you avoid getting too close to them. Get caught up in feelings, get your soul sucked out of you. Get crushed under expectations, live the rest of your life trying to fulfil them. Die on the inside before your body perishes.” You shrugged. “A pretty horrid way to die, if you ask me.”
Sana gave a huff of laughter. “Who hurt you, Y/N?”
You froze. Sana probably said that rhetorically, but it still hit you hard enough.
It wasn’t the question of who hurt you, but actually, who you had hurt.
You shut your eyes for a few extended seconds, willing yourself to not think of the past. You succeeded for the most parts, too. But then Sana nudged your shoulder.
“Hey, I didn’t—I didn’t mean to upsetyou…” She trailed off with a worried look on her face when you shot her a glare. “I’m sorry.”
“I’m not upset,” you grumbled, turning to look out of the window. “I’m just done with my quota of personal-unnecessary-unneeded-interactions with people, for the day.”
You heard Sana sigh. Mentally, you sighed, too.
Tumblr media
You all found the two vans a bit excessive. There were eight seats in one—there were seven of you. But Manager Woo insisted that the boys actually used three of these to commute, so even this was a bit miserly of the management.
Rich people problems.
You shook your head with a small smile. “It’s all okay,” you said to the Manager in Korean, following his lead into the BigHit offices where you were to meet your clients for the first time, ever.
You chanced a discreet glance at Sana. Maybe your frustrated, shitty pep-talk in the taxi had actually worked, because she looked a lot more held together than she had ever since you dragged her onboards with this project.
“This way,” Manager Woo instructed you, gesturing towards a lift. “The security personnel will lead you to the second floor, and into the meeting room. I will join you in a while.”
You bowed and your team followed, and then you all stepped into the elevator that looked big enough to hold the meeting within itself. Two security guards, all suited up with a tie and fitted with earpieces in a stereotypical bodyguard look, followed you in.
You exhaled, rubbing your hands together. “Guys,” you addressed your team in English. “You all have the detailed itinerary on your tabs, right?” At their nods, you pulled your own iPad out. “Good. Keep it on you when I talk about it with them.”
“Y/N,” Simon called out to you.
You looked at the fidgety guy with raised eyebrows.
“Are we gonna stick with the choices…” He trailed off when your eyes narrowed.
“We’ve spent more than seventy-two hours researching, Simon. Please stop with this.”
Simon gulped, but shut up.
The elevators opened up, just then. One of the guards stepped out, and gestured towards the glass doors on the right. “That is the meeting room,” he said in Korean.
You all stepped out, elegantly, and you turned to bow to the two guards. “Thank you,” you said in Korean
They bowed in return, looking slightly flustered, and stepped back into the lift. You turned to face the meeting room, inhaled deeply, and then exhaled.
“Come on, guys. Showtime.”
You led your team as they walked behind you in pairs. Once you got to the doors, a guard stepped up from inside the room, and opened the doors for you.
A long meeting table sat in the centre of the room, with seven occupants on one of its sides. BigHit’s Founder and CEO sat at the head of the table, and the foot lay vacant—reserved for, you assumed, the Manager. Seven chairs also lay vacant for your team, opposite the BTS members.
As the door gave way, the CEO met your eyes. You gulped your nerves, and plastered a smile on your face. As you all crossed the threshold, the eight people seated on the table stood.
Dragging in a deep breath, you placed your tablet on the table before you faced them all. “Hello everyone,” you enunciated in Korean, and then bowed.
Your team followed your lead, and the people in the room bowed back. You kept your professional smile in place, discreetly wiping your sweating hand on the thigh of your cotton pants. Then you nodded at the CEO and he asked everyone to settle down.
“Welcome to Korea,” the CEO started. “Did you get here okay?”
“Besides the jet-lag, we’re actually very good,” you told the CEO to receive chuckles in response.
“Manager Woo will join us in a few seconds,” he then continued, looking between your team and the boys—that you were yet to properly look at—and gestured towards them. “Meanwhile, let’s introduce ourselves. I’m Bang Si-Hyuk, BigHit’s founder and CEO. Nice to meet you.”
You bowed, telling him your own name, and then shook hands with CEO Bang. Standing from your place, you finally willed your gaze to focus on the faces of the members instead of nervously looking into space.
Oh, wow. Cameras didn’t do these guys any justice, apparently. Not even the 8K ones, because they were really freaking beautiful human beings.
Dressed in lounge wear consisting mainly of extremely baggy hoodies as far as you could gauge, they still managed to look jaw-droppingly gorgeous. And their skin was glowing so bright, it looked unreal. But it was very much real because you were sitting across a three foot wide table from them, you could tell. It looked so soft.
You’d tightly held your lips up in a smile to save your mouth from dropping open.
While you were trying to get a grip on yourself, your eyes landed on a pair of brown ones framed by gorgeous lashes, right opposite to you. They were looking down. But then, they were looking up, as if sensing your gaze on them. Your professional grin involuntarily melted into a genuine one as Taehyung gave you a bashful nod of acknowledgement. You nodded back.
“Hello,” you mumbled, watching as his eyes grew wider. You blinked, releasing how private that sounded. You cleared your throat and ducked your head before looking at all of the seven guys in turn and nodding at each one of them. “Hello to you all,” you addressed them in Korean this time and told them your name. “And this is my team.” You gestured with both hands to your sides. “We’ll be your interviewers and companions for the next six months.”
A flurry of bows, nods and hellos passed over the table, followed by your teammates announcing their names. You doubted any of these would be retained, including your own. Which is why you handed over the seven identical copies of all your resumes to the CEO. “Here, Mister CEO. My boss had mailed them over to you, but these are to help the boys get acquainted with us better,” you told the man, and he gave you an appreciative seeming smile.
“That’s thoughtful of you,” Namjoon suddenly said, smiling with dimples up at you from his place on Taehyung’s right. His black hair was ruffled and a circular framed pair of glasses rested on his eyes. “I’m RM,” he said in English, “but please call me Namjoon. It’s a pleasure meeting you and your team.”
You smiled wide, shaking his hand when he forwarded it. His skin felt super soft, just as you’d expected it to be by looking at it.
The rest of the boys followed suit, minus the handshaking. They all insisted you all call them by their real names, which felt almost funny to you, because you were gonna be unwinding their whole life. This felt so unnecessary.
Just then, the door opened and Manager Woo reappeared. He bowed his head in the CEO’s direction before taking a seat to your extreme left, at the foot of the table. “Hello, everyone,” he said, “did I miss anything?”
“Just the introductions,” Namjoon filled him in with a smile.
Manager Woo nodded and then looked at you. “The next thing to talk about is the schedule your team has planned for us, so that we can sort out any doubts or disagreements that might be there.”
Nodding, you pulled up the itinerary on your iPad, and cleared your throat. “I have planned out a strategy of working on interviews, and then sitting back to compile everything in an orderly fashion,” you announced. “We’ll divide each one of the six months we have on our hands into two groups—three weeks of discussions, and one week of compilation. All seven of us would be working with one member each, one on one, continuously for a time span of three weeks. After that my team will sit together, compare notes and move forth with the actual writing part. Then we’ll check if something has been missed by someone and arrange for its cover up, before we move forward into the next set of three weeks.”
You turned to look at your team to see if any of them wished to add anything, but they nodded at you with discrete thumbs ups. You exhaled in relief.
CEO Bang nodded at Manager Woo, who hummed in response. “Sounds workable to me. Boys?” He gestured towards the band members.
You looked up to find seven pairs of round eyes and gawking mouths.
Murmurs ran across the seven angels seated opposite you. While they were distracted, you took your sweet time looking at each one of their faces. They really did look unreal.
Next to CEO Bang, Jin and Yoongi were engrossed in some discussion. With their heads bent, their hair shined blindingly bright—Yoongi’s like liquid silver, and Jin’s like molten lead. Next to Jin, Namjoon was adjusting his glasses over his shut eyes as he listened to Taehyung whisper something in his ear, and kept shaking his head in response every few seconds. Taehyung was almost drowning in his oversized hoodie with the hood up, as he used his hands with those elegant ass fingers of his to cover his mouth while speaking into Namjoon’s ear. Next to him, Jimin was nodding along to Hoseok as the latter spoke in whispers, gesticulating widely.
Your eyes fell onto the far end of the table, then. Jungkook, who was already looking at you, shot his hand up when your gazes met. His eyes were literally sparkling with curiosity.
“Yes?” you asked with a big smile.
Jungkook flashed his teeth at you, looking not a day over five years of age. “Is one week enough time to write?”
You frowned. “In theory, yes. But if things go south and we need more time, we can always extend the contract. Mr. CEO?”
“According to the clauses in the contracts, definitely.” CEO Bang nodded with a small smile. “The book has to be good. We can compromise with everything, except for the quality.”
You nodded in understanding. There was an extendable clause in your contract, but you had every intention to not have to employ it. Not only did your boss have huge expectations from you, but you yourself were determined to give this project your best. Better than your best. You’d wanted to manage a complete project by yourself for so long, this was your chance of a lifetime to shine.
Taehyung’s hand shot up, breaking you out of your thoughts. He looked beyond adorable with his eyes rounded and lips nervously folded in.
“Ye—yes?” you stuttered very unprofessionally and then covered up with a cough.
“Who works with who?” he said in a breath, confusing you for a moment. “Will you take chits out? Or ask us to choose?”
“Oh, no no.” You chuckled when you caught his drift. “We’ve already decided among ourselves and also done some homework. You’ll find your personal interviewers in your contract copies.”
“Did you decide by picking out chits?” Namjoon grinned at you, and you laughed.
It had been chits, but you weren't about to tell them that. “Something like that.” You shrugged, playfully, and giggles rolled over the table.
Manager Woo, then, launched into a set of instructions for the band members. CEO Bang kept adding details in the middle, and the band members just kept nodding along in a bored fashion. Maybe they’d been over this multiple times.
You sat back to relax, observing everyone as you listened to the set of rules and procedures you were already familiar with. You looked from the corner of your eye as Jimin elbowed Taehyung.
“Did you want to work with someone in particular?” Jimin’s whisper into Taehyung’s ear floated over to you.
Taehyung’s eyes briefly met yours, nearly burning a hole through your head by the deep curiosity emanating from them. And then he ducked his head again, shrugging Jimin off of him.
You swallowed, roughly. Oh, God.
Manager Woo wound up his instructions with a repetition of be as honest as you can be, and then called out to you. “Do you wish to add something, Miss?”
You looked at your team. They shrugged. You shrugged, too. “You’ve covered it really well, Mister Manager. I’d actually like to emphasize one of your points—this is not an interview.” You looked across the table, at each of their faces, turn-wise. “There would be no cameras, no recorders, and no one monitoring your actions. Relax and be at ease. You should, in fact, think of the sessions as making new friends. You tell them about yourself, and they tell you about themselves. Only difference being, what you tell them will get compiled in a book so there must be a bit more of that.”
Your eyes met Taehyung’s and he nodded with a small laugh. The others gave you similar reactions, with Hoseok giving a two-fingered salute.
“That’s good. Also, Miss, we would like to request your team to work around the boys’ bodyguards.” Manager Woo looked at you earnestly.
“We’re really very grateful that you’ve agreed to our request for privacy and not enforced the sessions to be with the boys’ managers.” You shrugged a shoulder, and exchanged glances with Sana and Nathan. “And so, we would be okay working in the presence of the bodyguards, no issues.”
Your team hummed and nodded their own agreements. Manager Woo nodded back with a huge smile, looking relieved.
“We have the first interview scheduled for the day after tomorrow,” he then said as he distributed the individual contract copies among the BTS members and then your team. “Have a look at the details, one last time.”
You could, by this point, recite the clauses of the contract in your sleep. Yet, to be respectful, you accepted the file and placed it before yourself. You looked to your right and then left at your team. “Any questions, guys?”
Meryl raised her hand. Your eyebrows rose in intrigue. You gestured for her to speak up. “Yeah, um. About the secrecy clause—can we get a rough estimate as to when the news of the biography will be released?”
You nodded along. That was kind of a good question.
Manager Woo looked at CEO Bang, and all seven boys’ eyes adorably followed. CEO Bang readjusted his glasses. “We are planning a press conference at the end of six months.” Whoa. “I believe you’re going to have to keep this secret for the entirety of the project.”
You exhaled. It was gonna be kinda hard, but you’d manage.
“I got you!”
Your head snapped up at Jungkook’s shout of joy. He held the file in one hand and the other was raised up, mid-cheer. When all eyes fell on him, he froze for a moment before folding onto himself, bashfully. The boys all broke out laughing. You too had to stifle yours, by looking down in your lap, to maintain your professionality.
When you looked up after a moment, your eyes met Taheyung’s again. He seemed to be slightly confused and kept looking between the file in his hand, you and Jungkook.
“Si… Simon?” he whispered with a heavy accent, but it was all you could hear despite the chaotic discussions happening all around you.
You pointed at the guy sitting next to you. “Him,” you responded in English.
Taehyung’s eyes reverted back to you. “You?” he asked in English, very quietly.
You paused. “Jungkook,” you responded, gesturing to the still blushing boy with your eyes. And then, realizing how intimate your exchange was, you flashed him a professional smile. “Simon is great at conversation! You’ll have a good time with him,” you old him loudly, in Korean, earning smiles from the Manager and CEO.
Taehyung had still looked a bit lost when you tore your gaze away from him and picked up your tablet, but you willed yourself to unlock the gadget and not let your eyes stray.
This was just your first meeting, and Taehyung’s person’s intensity was already too much to handle. You thanked God you weren't gonna work with him one on one, or you won’t survive.
But, little did you know.

Not Just a Monster
Warning: blood, violence
10: Rescue Mission Pt2
I was quiet for a few minutes knowing this man wasn't like Suk-Hyun.  I knew he was going to shoot me If I didn't say anything.
" I got cut by a piece of glass," I said truthfully, he seemed to believe me lowering his weapon. " know you said you were going to room 1408 right" I nodded. " you know that's the fourteenth floor, I'm sure you're wanna use someone who's not afraid of death."
The man laughed, the girl that her name was Yoo-Ri was about to protest. " well you're fired, you've done well nursing this old man but it's time to come out of Retirement." He Insisted.
" I want to be a superhero before I die." He proclaimed, he did know this wasn't about playing superhero right even though he wanted to join my mission.
" let me join you?"
I didn't need anyone else they would just slow me down, the only reason why that man went was that he was doing something of his own.
" you're just acting Tough."
His smile dropped, " what?" I know I shouldn't be rude but it's the only way not to get him to come I didn't need to have someone else die on my Conscience. " you're just fooling yourself, no one wants to die."
I mentioned, the man didn't look too happy. " let me explain something to you, young lady not being afraid of death and wanting to die are two very different things. I'm planning to live longer than all the rest of you kids you'll see."
The old man smirked, knowing I wasn't going to change his mind we made our way to the fourteenth floor not knowing what type of monsters awaited there.
When we arrived in the apartment, I opened the door seeing an old man, getting a closer look I saw he was in a wheelchair, I frowned feeling bad then seeing a pair of children a boy and a girl they couldn't have been past the age of ten.
Why didn't they tell me this?
The old man closed the door with a black string that was attached to it, then he held up his Crutches that were made into a weapon. He was good at making those things.
" you know Hyun-Su right?" I asked, his eyes widened, but he gave me a firm yes. " is he alright?" the man asked with concern. I nodded, " he's alright, are leader Eun-Hyuk asked me to come and get you and know I'm guessing the kids."
The man kept quiet, " Why didn't Hyun-Su come?" I small voice asked, it was the little boy that was holding a toy Dinosaur. I smiled and got down to his level.
" he stayed behind to keep people safe from the monsters." I lied, making a funny monster sound. This seemed to make the little boy laugh.
" But you'll see him once we get down there." I patted his head. I guess I'm taking four more people with me. " alright I'll just pack wait here." The old man said going off to get his things.
Not knowing what to do one of the children grabbed my arm. " are you Hyun-Su girlfriend?" The girl asked. My eyes went wide. Girlfriend?
" oh, um on we are just—" I thought about it for a moment. What were we, friends or Acquaintances? Knowing I won't ever be his girlfriend that was impossible during the Situation we were in right now.
" We are just people that know each other," I explained we were nothing more nothing less even though my feelings for him were strong but I didn't know what they were yet?
The girl made an 'Oh' face and changed the subject. " well I'm Su-Yeong and that is my little brother Yeong-Su." They gave me their names. I like how they were the same but in a different order.
After the man returned, he had a big bag of stuff, along with his crutch-like weapon. " I'm ready to get out of here." The man told me I nodded, knowing I Accomplished my first mission hopefully we didn't have to do this anymore.
Heading down I had one of the kids on my back while the other was on Yu-Ri back. I figured that it would be faster just in case the kids didn't run fast enough.
I wonder where that one man is that came up with me? I hoped he was okay after what just happened. Going down the stairs Yeong-Su kept talking to me say how much longer.
" don't worry we are almost there," I assured him whispering, putting my finger up to my lips. I could then feel his little head lay on my shoulder.
We didn't need to be talking just in case because some monsters can hear well from what I've seen. There could be more hiding.
Once we made it down to the first floor, I was surprised at what was going on. There was blood all over the floor with two dead bodies lying there.
One was a man dressed in a Korean military suit and the other was a teenage girl that Mrs. Cha was holding that must have been her daughter. Letting the kid off my back I shield his eyes he didn't need to see this Yu-Ri did the same to Su-Yeong.
Taking both of their hands I lead them
Away. The atmosphere was tense also the rain made it worse. I then noticed the man that had gone up with me. His head was bleeding but his breathing was evident he wasn't dead.
Not knowing what was going on I continued and took the kids to the day-care-Center. Bringing them in they sat down in front of a dollhouse there faces looking glum.
" Su-Yeong why isn't dad here with us?" Yeong-su, cried, I didn't know what to do I thought that man in the wheelchair was their father or something like that?
" They can't, bring dad back. They said it would be too sad for us if they did." she Padded her brothers leg. " that doesn't make any sense though!"
I was about to say something until Mrs. Cha came through the door, " do you mind if I take them off your hands?" She spoke, sadly. I nodded knowing this may be good for her.
Turning to the kids I ruffled there hair, " you listen to her alright." I began, " I actually have to go somewhere." I needed to talk to Eun-hyuk Leaving the room I said my byes and went to find him.
I was angry to say the least, how come he didn't tell me about the children, Like was he just wanting that man?what ever it was I was going to let him have it.
I had stopped to ask a few people and they said he was in the restroom. Not caring I went in there slamming the door open. " so you didn't bother to tell me about the children?"
Eun-Hyuk was washing hands but after hearing me he stopped and looked over. " they would have been a Distraction, I just needed the man." He Plainly admitted. Like he didn't care for them at all. " so what? you just wanted me to leave them there!"
He stayed silent which confirmed it. " the man was are number one Priority." He grabbed a paper towel drying his hands. " if things went south leave them." I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
" are you hearing your self? You expect me to leave two Defenseless children against blood thirst monsters." I shook my head this guy was insane.
" I hear myself completely, I would if it came down to it, risking lives wow—" I laughed "instead of making others risk there lives, how about you go and deal with the problem instead of using other people to do it."
I was pretty sure you could see steam coming out of my ears my face felt hot. " your going to have to get use to using people Soo-Nico, I have to use the people I think that are, are best weapon."
People weren't weapons, swinging up my Machete I showed him. " This! This! is a weapon, not humans." He nodded, " I agree completely, but we have to use what we have."
He was about to leave but I blocked the door. " you're twisted aren't you." I moved out of the way as those were my last words to the Psycho.
I was fuming, I couldn't Focus until I heard someone calling my name. I felt guilty for locking him up in there like everyone else but it was for his own good. I just stood there staying still, should I go talk to him and explain?
He was clearly going to ask why I did it. But I couldn't so I just left pretending like I didn't hear anything. I know I was the only one that had been nice to him and Treated him as an equal so this made me feel just as bad.

it’s your birthday, baby
Tumblr media
author: bangtanficgallery
word count: 3k
warnings: drinking and light smut
genre: fluff
pairing: jimin x reader
a/n: i like to use music to get inspired, so i wrote this fic based on a jay park, woodie goochild, ugly duck and hoody song named birthday. (i have tons of writings based on jay park’s songs so... maybe too much smut) sorry for any misspellings.
Any day can be stressful and sad, but I was apprehensive about today. It's morning and I'm awake already for no reason since I was excused from work this week. My steps were echoing in the silent empty house and the rain was pouring outside, but it wasn't surprising. Always rain in my birthday and I love to watch it fall, so I sat comfortably on my sofa admiring the drops whipping the glass wall. My daydreams washed away from my mind when an unexpected knock was heard. Please don't be a surprise party, please don't, I’m still wearing my pyjamas. My heart melted when my lovely boyfriend entered, clearly excited about something.
“What are you doing home so soon?” I got up from my spot to hug him.
“I had to come home since I woke up too early today and didn’t give you a good morning kiss, you were so peaceful” he giggled “ and I had to bring something to you”
Jimin handed me a tiny vase with a beautiful cactus.
“It's beautiful”
“I know, now put it away from me because I want to hug you without being punctured”
I smiled putting the plant on the counter letting him hold me for a long long time. It's strange but I was happy, feeling good again. And be in my soulmate's arms there's nothing to do with it. Maybe a little. But I was overflowing and giggly again. I presume that good times always come and seeing Jimin enjoyed because I was joyful again is the best thing I ever experienced: see the love evident inside his eyes and I'm sure it could be seen in mine too. Jimin took a deep breath and kissed my cheeks, then pecked my lips making me smile.
“I love you”
“I love you more”
“It's a special day and I want you to enjoy and celebrate”
“Hmmmmm I'm not a big fan of my own birthdays”
“I'm a big fan of your birthdays” he smiled “Don't be afraid”
“You think everything is going to be alright? Since my last birthdays...”
“Don’t even think about that again” he interrupted me “I'm very sure, Jagi. Now let's go” he said lifting me up the floor and putting me on his shoulder.
“JIMIN YOU'RE GOING TO THROW ME ON THE FLOOR”
“No, I won't. Where's your cell phone?”
“Countertop”
Jimin turned away, grabbed the keys and the phone then hiked out home with me on his shoulder.
“You're taking me outside like this?”
“Yes”
“Let me change first”
“No”
I didn't protested, just let him carry me. I laughed when he said good morning to a confused concierge. He chooses my car instead his putting me cautiously on the seat.
“Where are we going?”
“Busan?”
“You didn't even make mystery”
“Because you already guessed” he winked.
I sighed, watching the scenery change quickly. building, houses and trees then buildings again. Travel with Jimin is always amazing. We make the time goes fast, singing and talking during the whole time what makes boring and long when we travel without each other.
“I give up come here, jagi”
“What?”
“Sit on my lap”
“What?”
Jimin parked the car and pulled me, putting me between his legs, moving the seat to have more space.
“Comfortable?”
“Are you sure about this?”
“It's not our first time”
I kissed him putting my hands around his neck while his hands sneaked around my waist trying to reach the wheel.
“Shall we?”
“Go on, baby”
We cuddled like this until reach Busan, but Jimin headed to a different place instead the usual.
“And now, where are we going?”
“You will see”
We went to the beach and he laughed a lot with me trying to guess which beach we were going.
“I know it's haeundae, just confess”
“We love haeundae the most”
“I know. So where?”
“A hotel”
“A hotel? Okay, so what you have in mind?”
“A pool party”
Confusing, but I didn't question him, just let it be. Soon we arrived and the parking lot was empty with just a few cars parked here and there. It's a small cosy hotel in Busan,, beautiful outside and I wondered how it could be inside, letting my mind flow.
“We're here” Jimin pecked kisses all over my face, making me giggle and he smiled at my reaction “Let's go”
In the moment that I step out of the car, I saw someone familiar holding a big vase of flowers.
“Hyuk?”
He smiled and I ran to him.
“Hyuk!”
Luckily he put the flowers down and opened his arms, then I jumped in his arms almost making both of us fall on the floor.
“Hold on, girl” he laughed “I missed you too”
“What are you doing here?”
“I had to give you these flowers”
“IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL! THANK YOU” I screamed.
“I love chrysanthemums, so I brought it to you”
“Difficult is tell which one is her favourite” Jimin said.
“Well that's true” Hyuk laughed.
“Let's go inside, Jimin said”
Hyuk handed me the flowers and I accepted gladly. Jimin guided me inside with his hand on my small back, talking happily with Hyuk about tours, songs and things that I can't relate. We soon arrived a big area.
“SURPRISE”
I almost threw my flowers on the floor. I looked closely and it's a pool area decorated with balloons where everyone was holding a bunch of different vases of colourful flowers, sometimes beautiful plants. They all came to me hugging me, kissing my forehead, congratulating me.
“Why are you wearing pajamas for god's sake. Park Jimin why the hell you didn't wait her change?” Alice, my dear friend and Jungkook’s girlfriend almost shout making everyone laugh.
“She's comfortable” Jimin shrugged.
“Yes, but let's change dear. Where are your room keys?”
“Oh, I have to grab come with me” Jimin said.
  I followed him closely.
“Jin, can you start to arrange everything?” Alice said.
“Sure. Jungkook, find Kihyun and come” Jin said.
“Ok hyung”
We walked to the reception and Jimin opened and I stopped to wait for Alice who stopped to talk with Minhyuk. Jimin opened the drawer behind the counter and grabbed a key.
“You can do that?”
“Sure, I choose the best room for us”
“Where are the employees and everyone?”
“There only us here”
“H-how could only us… Jimin did you booked the whole hotel?”
“Not exactly but...”
My jaw dropped and I stared him.
“Hey, it's okay, I-”
“I'm just speechless Chim”
He smiled and hugged me.
“I wanted everything to be perfect for my girl” he kissed my nose “Now go with Alice to change, let's party!” Jimin walked away to the pool area.
“Alice”
She waved a goodbye to Minhyuk and went to me, putting her arm around my shoulders.
“So how's your day going?”
“Surprising”
She laughed.
“You liked it, oh I'm so happy” she clapped as we walked down a long corridor, heading out to the chalet.
“I didn't brought clothes”
“Don't worry”
“I won't use yours”
“I said don't worry”
The room that Jimin choose was the last one, close to the beach. It was enormous and what a view!
“Wow it's beautiful”
“Sure it is, now clothes”
Alice went towards the clothes on the bed.
“Jimin brought it in the bags and I washed everything on the hotel laundry. Here this bikini is the most beautiful and I think it's going to be pretty on you now go get dressed”
She was talking quickly and my mind was trying to absorb, then I grabbed the clothes he handed me and went to the bathroom to take a bath and change. I didn't take long, soon I was outside and Alice was clapping again.
“Ah, you look amazing. You only need shorts now”
“Are you s-”
“Yes, shut up. Now sit here and let me brush your hair”
When everything was perfect, according to Alice, we went back talking excitingly.
“I can't believe we're having a pool party in the middle of the winter”
“Well, the pool is inside, gladly, so it's going to be awesome” she said.
We didn't even arrive the pool and I already could hear the song. When we got there, everyone shouted. Jooheon ran to me grabbed my hand inviting me to dance. The music was loud, the boys were playing and dancing in the pool, I was dancing with Hoseok and Jooheon, Jimin and Hyuk were around us.
“Here's the SANGRIAAA” Jin yelled, making everyone yell with excitement.
“You guys try to not be drunk” Kihyun said.
“I can't promise you that” Taemin said.
Taemin?
“MINIE MY SQUISHY BABY” Taemin laughed loudly when I said that and hugged me tightly.
“Happy birthday, I brought you special flowers”
“Like everyone” I smiled.
I dragged Taemin to dance with us and he quickly gets the rhythm. We danced all day long, only stopping a bit to have a delicious lunch, laughing every time. It was hot even in the middle of winter, making us play on the pool then getting out to dance or dancing on the water too. I danced all day long with Jimin noticing how overwhelmed he was, reflecting my own feelings. He didn't missed one single chance to whisper how much he loves me and then whispered he loves me, even more, when I'm smiling. The sensation of being surrounded by people you love is amazing and I was almost flying. Of course, we had a cake, happy birthday song Hyuk and Jimin's version and individual hugs from everyone. After that everyone could be drunk and no one disappointed excepted for Kihyun and Alice. They were having fun soberly watching everyone drunk. It was done for me when I threw myself on a reclining chair observing the ceiling move in circles.
“Ready to bed?”
“Chim how you're not drunk?”
“I am drunk, but a little less than you. Let's go”
I accepted his hand and he walked slowly in zigzag or almost this to the door. The last thing we heard when the doors closed was Yoongi yelling.
“HEY DRUNKOOK LET GO OFF ME”
We laughed imagining what the hell Jungkook was trying to do. It was freezing outside then we quickly ran to our room, laughing all the time. Instead go to bed, we went to the bathroom, take a warm bath to be less drunk and clean. Jimin opened the shower and hugged me under the water. The warmness was giving me goosebumps, but it was good. Jimin took off your wet clothes and hugged me again. I snuggled comfortably leaning my head on his shoulder. His hands where on my lower back and hair, he was caressing lovingly.
“Feeling better now?”
“A lot”
“Did you liked?”
“I loved everything, Chim”
“Hmmm I was expecting you to say that. You’re hard to surprise” he said with his lips against my forehead “I'm so happy you loved it, it was so amazing see your face shine brightly” he grabbed my chin to make me look at him “It was beautiful to see you happy like this, I can never get tired of you”
“Thank you for everything, love”
He kissed me, quickly again but I could say he was holding himself. My boy. Today is completely different from last year and Jimin was with me back there, holding me like this. He was with me on my saddest days and the happiest too, like today. I couldn't be more glad, he didn't doubted or distrusted. I am his and he wants his half to be okay too. And now we both are. Last year wasn't good, far from this, to him either, but we both were there for each other and now we're here. I'm more than glad.
“What are you thinking, jagi?”
“You”
“I can't take you out of my mind either, my beautiful” he smiled “Let's get out of here and rest”
I dressed the clothes, or rather, the beautiful and finest lingerie he bought to me, rolling my eyes imagining him choosing. He was more dressed than me, wearing new black sweatpants. I went outside to admire the view. It was cold but there's no wind. I could see the sea and the waves wetting the white sand. Suddenly Jimin's arms sneak around me and he stayed silent observing his loud city. I turned around to see him.
“It's beautiful Chim, but I prefer the stars in your eyes”
He smiled.
“My wonderful girl…”
Then he kissed me. Unlike the other kisses he gave me all day long this one lasted, but with the same love and passion on his lips, dancing with mine. Dance, dancing. We are perfectly synchronized, we are only one. Step by step we were back in bad dancing again, it was the same as with the kisses: different from all the dances we had this day.
Morning in the paradise. It's too dark even when we are this close to the beach, my head isn't hurting, weird for someone who drank all night long, my lover is peaceful sleeping by my side and my lingerie isn't ripped but it isn't on my body neither. Amazingly weird. I tried to reach my phone to see what time is it but it's probably in the car. Conveniently there's a clock on the bedside table and it was 11 AM.
“Chimmy” I kissed his lips lightly “It's late babe”
“Hmmmmm”
“Darling”
“What time?”
“11 AM”
He opened his eyes widely.
“We’re late as fuck” he laughed, but it sounded husky. Sexy. “But it's ok. Go take a shower, I have to check something. I bought you a dress and an overall, you can choose” he kissed me and lazily got out of bed to put his sweatpants “Sorry jagi I have to check this”
“It's okay”
“I will be back in five minutes”
I went to the bathroom and took a quick bath don't wanting to get late or something. When Jimin was back I was already dressed, I choose the dress and he smiled at the sigh.
“I knew you would be beautiful in this”
He showered me with kisses, leaving the lips to the end. It could go further but someone knocked our door.
“What?” Jimin shouted.
“Hyung?” Jungkook called “We're going”
Jimin sighed.
“It is with you jagiya. I'm going to take a bath”
“Okay” I pecked his nose.
“Kookie~”
“Hello” he gave me his smile “Everyone had to go sooner, but Alice, Yoongi, Jooheon, Jin hyungs and I waited for you”
“You guys are so sweet” I hugged JK and he blushed adorably.
I went to the ground floor to see my babies and they all gave me kisses, hugs and more plants and flowers.
“I don't know where I'm going to put all of this and take care to my bunny not chew and my dog not destroy”
“And your cat can chew it too” Honey said.
“True” Jin said.
“I have to make a garden on the balcony when I get back home. Animals are not allowed”
“You're going to banish Jimin from there?” Alice said.
“Haha funny”
“I know this song” Jooheon winked.
“Everyone ready?” Jimin came with a bag “Oh more flowers, luckily we came with your car”
“Lucky you guys” Yoongi said.
“Oh I gotta go” Jooheon said “I have to go to Daegu now”
“You want us to drop you at the airport?” Jin asked.
“No, I called a taxi and it's waiting for me” Jooheon hugged me “Bye bee”
“Bye Honey”
“We should go too” Alice said.
“Right”
“Jungkook and I are going with you Jimin, it's ok?”
“Of course”
“See you guys in Seoul then” Jin said.
The drive back was amazing like it was to come here. Jimin limited himself to only hold my hand instead put me on his lap. We wanted to open the windows and let our hair fly with the wind but the cold outside is sharp. We laughed, sang and told jokes. In a second we were back in Seoul and Jimin dropped Alice and Kook in their apartment. Being back home is delicious, our pets greeted us, except for mochi, the cat, sleeping serenely on top of the fridge. Cookie, the bunny, ran around us happily and peanut couldn't stop jumping. We put the four more heavy vases of flowers on the floor and I was thinking about where I should put then”
“Chim, I think I left the others in the hotel”
“They are all here already jagi”
“Where?”
“Come with me”
We went to the balcony but I couldn't see them.
“I bought this apartment for more than one reason. I wanted us to have our own place, without feeling displaced or unwelcome. I wanted you and me to have a place for you and I decorate and arrange the way we want. It's so different from the first time we bought things, but it's like us, I cannot unsee you walking around here because you are present in each detail”
“I can't unsee you here too, Chim. It's too full of you, too full of us” I smiled.
“And it's seonyudo. We have a story here, we came when we were friends, our first date…”
“Perfect Chim. You found heaven”
“And have this thing I'm about to show you. It was just an addition but I wanted to make this for you and now it's ready”
“What?”
“Turn around”
When I turned I saw. It was a ladder. An Iron ladder leading to the roof. For sure it wasn't there before. Jimin climbed it first and offered me his hand to climb to. When I got there I saw the glass winter garden. If I had looked higher when I was downstairs I could see it, but I only saw the ladder. All the flowers and plants were already there.
“Since when all of this is here?”
“Well, it always had the space, but I asked the realtor to provide take out the old ladder before we moved. But everything else was made yesterday and I asked my brother to supervise everything and everyone who was working here”
“I'm-”
“Speechless?”
“Park Jimin you are the love of my life”
I hugged him and kissed his pretty lips with all the love I have in me, all for him.
“You loved it?”
“I loved it! It's amazing you are amazing I love you so much, you know that?”
“I know that and I know how much”
“How much”
“It's like space, always expanding. I love you like this too”
He caressed my cheeks letting my tears fall on his thumbs.
“Happy tears, my jagi. I love see you like this”
“I love to make you happy, Jiminie”
“Me too” he kissed my nose “So I asked everyone to bring you big vases of their favorite flowers or plants. They all wrote a letter for you, it's all in the middle of the respective flowers, you want to read?”
I smiled, dragging him with me to the garden. Best day of my life and the person I love most.

Which One? Ji Soo - Part 7
Genre: Coffee Shop!AU
Pairing: Ji Soo x You
Warnings: None
Prologue, Part 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Epilogue  | Words: 2,369
Tumblr media
A smile flashed across Ji Soo’s lips before he began to slowly lean over to your side of the car. He scooted to the edge of his seat, reaching out one hand and gently sliding his fingers over your cheek to cradle it.
You decided he shouldn’t have to do all the work; it was already pretty awkward since you were in a car, and it would probably be extremely uncomfortable for him to lean all the way over to you.
So, you leaned in, too.
Ji Soo’s smile widened at that, and it was the last thing you saw before you felt his lips touch yours. The last thing you saw before your eyes fluttered closed.
The feel of his kiss, the scent of him overwhelmed you in the most delicious way. You could taste the pizza and beer, which was certainly not unpleasant. You could smell his amazing cologne, and you suddenly realized you already recognized it as his scent.
He tugged at your lips gently, his palm holding your cheek as delicately as if you were made of glass and he was afraid he would break you.
The only thing he could truly break was your heart, you knew, but... there was a strange voice inside your head telling you he never would. It was ridiculous, of course, since you’d known him for only a handful of days... so you decided to ignore it.
For now.
As most first kisses are, yours with Ji Soo was brief. But it was magical.
You were not one to throw that word around lightly because magic, real magic, most likely did not exist.
But you couldn’t think of any other word to describe how Ji Soo’s kiss made you feel. It made you feel like the only girl in the world. It made you feel like there was nothing you couldn’t do. It made you feel like there was true hope, after all.
And, maybe most importantly, it made you feel like all of his teasing was totally worth it.
Like, totally worth it.
When he pulled away, he kept his hand on your cheek, his thumb just barely caressing your warm skin there. (Warm because, of course, you were blushing. What’s new?)
So, his kiss had been magical, right? We just talked about that. It made you feel all these wonderful, beautiful things.
...Tell me why, then, the first thing which popped into your mind was this:
“Did you come up with that Instagram caption?” you asked softly.
Ji Soo paused, the expression on his face one of very amused confusion. “...What?”
“The ‘we like you a latte’ one. Was that you?”
“Y--yes,” he chuckled. “What -- why are you -- why did you think of that?”
You furrowed your brow at him and lifted your shoulders into an almost imperceptible shrug. “I have no idea. I told myself last night to ask you about it, and I just... forgot until this very moment.”
Ji Soo laughed softly and tilted his head forward, pressing his forehead to yours. “Don’t worry, I can make it romantic. When I said it’s a customer favorite, the customer I was thinking of was you. The green tea latte is a favorite of my favorite customer.”
The corners of your lips nearly touched your ears because you were smiling so widely. “You’re just saying I’m your favorite because I let you kiss me.”
“That’s a small part of it, yes,” he smirked. “But you were my favorite customer before tonight, too.”
You decided not to ask why because... well, you’d already asked one weird, random question. Why add to it? If he said you were his favorite customer, you would simply take him at his word and appreciate it.
“Well,” you said softly. “I will do my best to continue being your favorite customer.”
“You don’t have to try hard,” Ji Soo chuckled, shaking his head. “Like, at all.”
You were still going to try, of course, because that’s just how you were.
Before you could respond, though, Ji Soo let out a soft sigh and leaned back, letting his hand slowly fall from your cheek. “I should get inside,” he murmured.
You nodded, a tiny smile pulling at your lips as you watched him reach for the door handle and turn his body to get out of your car.
But then he paused. He turned back to you. “I know I said this already,” he told you with a very earnest expression. “But I just want to make sure you know. I had a really good time tonight, and I definitely want to see you again. Not just at the coffee shop. But, like. Another date. Because I like you.”
That tiny smile pulling at your lips grew, and you nodded yet again, quickly this time. “Okay,” you agreed. “Yes. I want to see you again, too.”
“On another date?” he asked.
“On another date.”
“Okay,” he said with a relieved sigh, a grin suddenly appearing on his lips. “I’ll go on in now, I just... wanted to make sure there was no uncertainty.”
“I appreciate that,” you told him. Because you really, really did. In your opinion, there wasn’t much worse than being in that ‘are we or aren’t we?’ stage of a relationship. You’d only been in it once, but still. It had been horrible.
“Have a good night,” Ji Soo said as he opened your car door and set one foot out. “Let me know when you get home.”
“You, too,” you called out, watching him get out of your car. “And remember to apologize to Joo Hyuk for me!”
Ji Soo simply rolled his eyes good-naturedly before closing your door and taking a step back, letting you drive away.
Remember yesterday when you’d prematurely labeled this the Best Date Ever?
You’d totally be right.
Best. Date. Ever.
Tumblr media
Even though you desperately wanted to go The Mug every chance you could, you restrained yourself. You didn’t want to overload Ji Soo with your presence despite the fact he’d made it clear he liked you and wanted to see you again.
I guess we could say this was your way of playing it “cool.”
You were still texting him back and forth, though, and he even called you on a couple of occasions. But you didn’t actually see him in person until the Wednesday after your date when you went there for your weekly meeting with Jane.
Obviously, you’d already told Jane every single detail about your date, so when you walked into the shop on Wednesday evening, she was looking both extremely excited and extremely smug.
You knew exactly what she was going to say, so you headed over to the register so you could delay the inevitable.
There was only one person in line, and they had just finished ordering by the time you arrived. Joo Hyuk was at the register, and a friendly smile appeared on his lips when he saw you.
“Hey,” he greeted. “How are you?”
“I’m great!” you chirped. “How are you?”
“I’m just --”
Ji Soo suddenly appeared next to him, obviously having heard your voice.
“Hey, thanks, I got it,” he murmured to Joo Hyuk, patting him on the back.
Joo Hyuk simply nodded like the good wingman he was and headed off into the shop, presumably to check up on the other customers.
Ji Soo then leaned against the counter, his eyes lit up as he gazed over at you. “Hey,” he said with a somewhat dreamy smile.
“Hi,” you replied, chuckling a bit bashfully. “How are you?”
“I was doing fine about two minutes ago,” he told you. “But now I’m nothing less than wonderful.”
You let your head drop in slight embarrassment and shook your head, unable to keep yourself from grinning like a total idiot. “You are incredibly cheesy, did you know that?”
“Yes,” he announced. “I know that, and I have accepted it.”
Honestly, you wished you had his confidence.
Ji Soo then stood up straight, inhaling deeply and furrowing his brow. “Let me guess... you want something different tonight.”
Actually, you’d been prepared to order your usual green tea latte, but... you didn’t want to break his heart so soon.
“Yes!” you gasped. “I do! But I don’t know what. What would you recommend?”
...Wow. You were actually quite proud of that quick thinking!
“Well, it depends,” Ji Soo answered, looking quite pensive (and handsome). “You probably don’t like just straight coffee since you usually get lattes or tea.”
You nodded. Black coffee tasted like dirt -- no offense to anyone who likes it, of course.
“Do you like sweet drinks?”
You nodded again.
“Let’s try... white chocolate mocha,” he suggested as he nodded slowly.
“Sounds good to me,” you agreed. “White chocolate mocha it is.”
“I’ll make it right now and bring it over to you.”
Your brow furrowed slightly because you’d kind of forgotten about the free drink thing, and to be honest, you still felt a little guilty about it. “Are you sure? I really don’t mind paying and doing the whole picture thing for free.”
Ji Soo simply nodded over toward where Jane was sitting and said, “Go sit.”
“No, but --”
“Go.”
“Seriously, I --”
“If you don’t go over there in the next five seconds, I’ll kiss you right here and now.”
Without another word and without missing a beat, you turned and started over toward the chair your best friend was sitting in.
But you only took two steps before you turned back around to face Ji Soo. “It’s not that I don’t want you to kiss me,” you clarified. “Just -- not here. With all these --”
“People around, yeah,” he chuckled. “I figured. Now, go!”
You quickly nodded and turned back around once more.
The second you sat down in the open chair next to Jane, she leaned forward and said, “I have never seen someone so smitten.”
Your cheeks blazed; had you really been that obvious?
“I mean, the way he looked at you!” she continued, whispering excitedly. “You guys have been on one date, but he is already head over heels.”
...Oh. She was talking about him.
Which, of course, made you blush even more!
“He’s just an open, straightforward kind of guy,” you murmured with a shy smile.
“An open, straightforward guy who has the biggest crush on you,” Jane smirked. “It’s honestly really adorable. And if I didn’t have a boyfriend who has the biggest crush on me, I would be super jealous.”
This spurred you to remind Jane you had yet to meet this boyfriend of hers, and the two of you continued to talk about him until Ji Soo arrived with your white chocolate mocha.
“Are you guys talking about anything super important?” he asked as he carefully handed you the mug.
“Yes,” Jane replied immediately. “My boyfriend.”
“Okay, you’re right, that is super important,” Ji Soo consented. “But do you mind if I ask you guys a question?”
“Go for it,” you nodded.
“Have you ever heard of the band Day8?”
Tumblr media
Your brow furrowed, and you shook your head. “No, I can’t say that I have.”
“Nope, not me, either,” Jane chimed in.
“Well, they’re kind of local, and we booked them to play here next Saturday. I listened to some of their songs on YouTube, and they’re pretty good,” he nodded. “I just wanted to formally extend an invitation to you guys.”
“Oh, how exciting!” you grinned. “I’ll definitely be here.”
“Yeah, I can come!”
“Can you bring your boyfriend?” you asked her hopefully.
Jane’s eyes widened and lit up with excitement. “Oh my gosh, yes. Yes, I will make him come, don’t you worry.”
You felt Ji Soo’s hand come to rest on your shoulder, and he squeezed it before he took a step away. “Let me know if you need anything, okay? I will take care of it personally.”
Jane paused, one brow quirking ever so slowly.
“...You take care of everything personally. You’re one of only two people working.”
“Yeah, two people. I meant I will take care of it personally, not Joo Hyuk.”
You chuckled softly and shot Ji Soo a grin. “Thank you,” you said sweetly. “It’s much appreciated.”
“You’re welcome,” Ji Soo answered before looking at Jane as if to say ‘See? Someone gets it.’
When Ji Soo was out of earshot, Jane let out a very amused giggle. “He is too much,” she said. “And you’re right. He’s basically me but a guy. I can see why you like him!”
Tumblr media
When Ji Soo had told you about the mini-concert at The Mug, you had secretly wondered what things would be like.
Yes, he had told you only a week and a half before it happened, but still. Things had changed pretty drastically for you in just a week -- you’d gone from just meeting Ji Soo to going on a date and kissing him! At this rate, would the two of you be married by next month?
But, surprisingly, not that much had changed when Saturday rolled around. You and Ji Soo hadn’t had a chance to go on another date, though you had kissed a few more times in the parking lot much to Ji Soo’s chagrin. He kept saying he wanted to kiss you somewhere more romantic, but you kept saying you didn’t care. A kiss was a kiss!
But something which had changed was The Mug’s Instagram.
They now had over 300 followers, and Ji Soo had posted five more pictures. You knew it was Ji Soo not only because he’d told you but because the captions were adorably cheesy.
One of the pictures he’d posted was of him and Joo Hyuk, and he’d accompanied it with “Come see these mugs every day from 7a-9p” with a heart eyes emoji.
You had sent him a text message about it, scolding him for only using one heart emoji. His face alone was worth at least six!
But, besides that, nothing had really changed. And when you opened the door to the shop on Saturday just before 7, you had no preconceived notions that anything would change.
You would find out soon enough how wrong you were.

your sheduling of px101 opinions
GENERAL
- I took literal notes for this, you better appreciate it
- general consensus seems to be: LEE DONGWOOK IS AN ANGEL I WANT TO VOTE FOR HIM - also there was this blond guy with glasses in the crowd that was like a head taller than everyone around him and he was so unimpressed lmao,, like I didn’t see him smiling once, so I’m assuming I didn’t see him reacting to his pick
DANCE POSITION
- automatically biased towards Believer, since I’m a reaaaaaaally big Imagine Dragons fan
- also, their recording was so good?? Believer is pretty hard song to keep up with, even for people who are used to singing in English. like,, I know it doesn’t rlly matter, but I didn’t have the usual unease that comes with awkwardly sung eng
- okay,,, I don’t like Swalla in the first place, so that put that team automatically third for me. looking at skill, I found swalla and finesse team to be on the same level, but finesse did have some more eyecatching bits. tbh I rlly don’t agree with the ranking for dance position (as in, swalla-believer-finesse, I’d have thought believer-finesse-swalla)
- about Swalla,, I don’t think those guys rlly knew what that song is about??? like, they be throwing cute smiles and hearts and stuff while dancing to a song about swallowing c**? sorry but no thank you
VOCAL POSITION
- my fave performance was in the previous episode, it being twit
- Day By Day!!! loved the guitar background story, since it actually put a spotlight on how good that team was together instead of on conflcit. like, they didn’t all agree, and Dohyun got some bad comments about it, but the team actually realised it was smth he really wanted to do because he likes it so much, and in case it was his last stage,, and they let him do it! loved that
RAP POSITION
- okay, uhh
- ya girl is mostly a rap biased fan, okay? like, when I get to know a group my attention always goes to the rappers first (since generally there are less of them and with a more recognisable voice)
- I’m a big Zico fan, so my fave was Say Yes or No no matter what
- but,,, Barcode really didn’t make it hard on me
- what happened there???? like, I get being nervous and making mistakes, obviously they aren’t the only ones
- but it seemed like it just,, was like that from the get-go?
- beginning with that dumb center debate,,, I get it, catching the eye and stuff so you have a higher chance of being first place. but that stretched scene of them arguing about it gave me the impression that they never really gave each other a chance as in, their teamwork was really bad. it was so obvious that the two of them both just wanted all attention on them on stage, but you’re performing as A TEAM. even if you’re first place in your team, if your team as a whole botched it since you’re practically 4 seperate people together on a stage and the crowd feels that atmosphere, believe it or not then your teammates will end pretty low. that’s so selfish
X POSITION
 - uhhh yeah trigger warning for me nagging on literal kids who just want to debut (and yes, I get that this is a competition but still)
- my admiration fro Jin Hyuk = through the rOOF
- that man really ended up with all of the ‘I have a low ranking so I just want to go for it’ trainees (most of them vocals too) in a rap focused performance that also needs a FULL CHOREO
- he’s been one of my 11 since nearly the beginning, but I swear he cliMBED THE F out of my ranking today wow
- his patience is so amazing,,, he’s amazing with,, like kids? I would’ve lost my patience right at the whole ‘silence when asking who’s going to do this verse’. but nahh, he just goes ‘I will have to lay it on y’all, this is a chance I’m giving you’
-and then, when he did lose his patience understandably, what in the actual hell were they even doing goofing around? he has obvious authority, is slaving his ass off for a choreo they also could have put some effort in but didn’t and is being so sweet with their ungrateful ass omg can they not read cues? they were so rude he later apologised for it?? what A MAN
- last thing about ungrateful kids,, Won Jun??? what was that about you secretly hoping to be first place?? You really think you deserved that? when he said that I got whiplash; from the groveling when they needed Jin Hyuk to even have a stage as good as it was, to the ‘I want to be first’?? no, you do not deserve that???
okay yeah that was it but

Game Over (2/?)
Author's note: This is a collab with @nothing-but-kpop-dreams. We had a great time writing this story and working with her has been awesome. We hope that you really like this story, so please, let us know what you think.
Genre: Angst/Fluff (Leo x reader)
Summary: Your dream of being a professional dancer was now a reality. All the more worthwhile was the fact that you are a back up dancer for your best friend's group. So everything was perfect right? Wrong! Your emotions take a hit after forming a crush on a particular someone...
All Parts
Word count: 1.5k
Tumblr media
It was now day 10 of being an actual back-up dancer.
You loved it.
It was tiring, and it was definitely an intense schedule, but you loved it. Not only did you get to dance all day, but you also got to hang out with your best friend.
Your usual routine had gone something like this :
1. Practice with fellow back-up dancers until lunch
2. Skip lunch with fellow back-up dancers
3. Crash Vixx’s practice
4. Eat lunch with Vixx
Afterwards, the rest of the dancers would join in and everyone would do the dance together.
Even in cases where you didn’t work with Vixx, but the other artists under the company, you would always have a meal with at least Hyuk, whether it be lunch or a late night meal at a nearby restaurant.
Hyuk wasn’t your only friend though. You had befriended many of the other backup dancers, and even some of the girls in Gugudan.
More importantly though, you seemed to be winning over the rest of Vixx.
Thanks to Hyuk, you were already on their good side, and in general all the guys were pretty friendly, except for Leo.
His cold demeanor didn’t really surprise you, and you kind of figured this would be the case based on shows that they have been guests on.
He always seemed annoyed by your presence, but you held on to the idea that he was just the type that took awhile to warm up to new people.
His lack of expression around you only made you want to try harder to get him to like you.
It was a new mission, so to speak, for you.
It was 1:23 and you and Vixx just about finished your lunch together in the practice room.
“You ready for a day with US MEN Y/N?!?” Ravi grunted all “manly” as he began flexing in the mirror.
“Because of that whole -uh- whatever that was, I’m ready for this practice to be over.” you said sarcastically making N and Hongbin laugh.
“Oh did you mean this?!?” Ravi laughs as instead of flexing in the mirror, like the first disturbing show, he decides to stand in front of you.
Way.
Too.
Close.
“Bet you can’t handle all of this!” he continues, laughing more until he steps away and to a more appropriate distance.
“More like I don’t want to handle any of that.”
This only caused a roar out of everyone, even a small chuckle out of Leo.
“Oh please Y/N, I see right through you.” Ravi smirked, making his way back towards you. “I see you.” he nodded, and while his head was still up, he winked.
“I notice the way you look at me when we are all eating. You’ve fallen for me. I get it.” He said, biting his lip in what was supposed to be a sexy way as he stopped right in front of you.
“Like hell she did!” Hyuk’s voice rang throughout the room and soon Ravi’s body went flying.
The poor, unsuspecting boy let out a shrill shriek when he was grabbed from behind by the maknae, and practically thrown across the room.
Now everyone was in tears, even Ravi (don’t worry it was from laughing).
“What did I say Hyung? Five foot radius! You are not allowed within five feet of Y/N.” Hyuk only said after catching his breath. “And go back to the gym! You’re so heavy!”
“Hey, we just ate!” was Ravi’s only defense.
“And Ravi, maybe you should look into getting glasses, Y/N never stares at you, cuz she stares at me!” N winked.
“What did you say?!?” Hyuk gasped. “She does NOT!”
“She doesn’t stare at you, she stares at me!” Hongbin insisted.
“No, it’s me she likes!” Ken shouted above everyone.
You only laughed in the corner seeing how triggered Hyuk was getting over everyone’s comments. “She doesn’t like any of you!”
“Why are you saying that?!? You guys only wish she liked you!!"
You only looked over at Leo with an exasperated look on your face as you rolled your eyes. He and you were the only ones not taking part in picking on Hyuk.
But, when you looked over at him, his small smile disappeared. In all attempts to keep up with your mission, you made yourself say something to him.
“How do you handle them all?”
Leo didn’t really say anything. He only gave the smallest head shake as he looked back over at the bickering mess that was ⅚ of the Vixx members.
“But I am at least her bias! I know that! Right Y/N?” Ravi called out to bring you back into the mess.
“HEck no.” you just laughed.
“Ha!” Hyuk laughed, sticking his tongue in Ravi’s face. “I am the one that is her bias, cuz I’m her best friend.”
“No you aren’t!” you singsonged.
His head suddenly whipped towards you. He stared at you with puppy eyes. “I’m not?!?” he whimpered, looking crushed.
“Nope!”
“Cuz it’s me!” N declared
“No it’s me!” Hongbin shouted.
“No and no.” you said with a smile
“So it’s me!” Ken was already doing a happy dance.
“Not you either.” you giggled. “My bias is Leo!”
You started laughing uncontrollably. This was yet again a part of your plan to get him to be friends with you.
“WHat?!?” they all panicked. Even Leo looked at you in shock.
“Why?!?” they cried.
You made your way up to Leo “Uh- just look at him!” you explained throwing your hands near his face. “Do you not see this?”
There was a hint of red that filled his cheeks as he stood like a statue. His eyes bounced between each member and you, and he didn’t seem too comfortable with you that close to him.
“Taekwoon hyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuung!” Hyuk shouted, breaking the awkward silence as he began to charge at him. “Three feet apart! “ he reminded. (All members were to be no less than within three feet of you, except Ravi. Ravi was the least trusted and had to be farther away from you.)
Hyuk’s attempts to pounce on his hyung were thwarted when Leo’s iron fist landed on his shoulder. Hyuk was down in less than half a second, whimpering and grabbing his arm.
“Can we just start practice already?” Leo mumbled under his breath as he walked away from you without a second glance.
-
After practice you felt like a zombie. Like the aforementioned mythical undead, you felt dead… buuuuut not really.
You shuffled past your fellow dancers and made your way to your water bottle. Chugging it all down as if water was going out of style.
“Woah! Slow down there Y/N.” Ravi said from behind you. “It’s not like anyone else is trying to take it away from you.” He joked as if he was not gasping for air himself.
You were too busy drinking to give him a proper comeback. You simply squinted him down as he walked past you and grabbed his own bottle.
“Hey, we getting food?” Hyuk huffed as he came up to you.
“Only after you shower! Look at you, you’re soaked in sweat. This is why I like practicing with Gugudan, none of them sweat pools like you guys.”
“Hey, hey, hey take a look at yourself!” N sassed “You are just as sweaty as we are.”
“That’s only cuz we are in here with you guys. You all are so gross you make the rest of us gross. Right guys?” You called out to your fellow back-up dancers for support. “We are never this sweaty with Gugudan?”
A chorus of “Yeah”’s and “Sure”’s come from your fellow dancers as they exited the practice room, not really paying attention to the conversation, but also not caring. They were too tired to deal with anything.
One of the other dancers, though, decided to listen in and throw some shade as well, saying,
“Yeah with GuGudan they get it right on the first try so we don’t have to work as hard reworking the same move 30 times.”
You chuckled and gave a high five to your fellow dancer. “Love you Jieun!” You said after her as she walked away like a savage queen.
“You know what, because of that, you are paying for dinner.” Hyuk said.
“Then, you best be in the mood for McDonald’s cuz I only got money for a four piece nugget, be prepared to share, you biscuit.”
“Wow I am so looking forward to that.” he said sarcastically. “Guys did you just hear Y/N’s amazing offer? Who wants in? Leo?” he called out to the only member close by. “What about you?! You want one of my two chicken nuggets?”
“Oh if Leo is coming he is for sure getting two chicken nuggets!” you say. “Eo, how does dinner on me sound? Want to join us?” you offer in a more serious manner.
“No.” he said almost instantly with just the blankest of expression. Then he just walked out the practice room most likely to the showers.
You looked over at Hyuk just so confused at to why Leo was so closed off with you. Hyuk only gave you a simple shrug, one that said:
“He is just tired.”
