Okay I'll take the risk. 7 and 8 with 99!

I hope the risk was worth it, lol! 

This one is a little on the shorter side. Also, this was a new one for me, so apologies if it’s weird. :/

Gladio + Regis = “This was fun - let’s do it again sometime!”

As the sun rose over the tops of the mountains and peakedinto the tent, Regis stirred. It had been quite some time since he had beenoutside the citadel, much less past the wall protecting his beloved Insomnia,and the crick in his neck showed it. He groaned quietly, reaching a hand up tolightly massage the kink.

Outside, birds chirped, and dualhorns stomped and thrashedat the base of the haven, but they paid him no mind, even as the younger manbeside him snored loud enough rival the blood lusting growls of the hungrywildlife at dawn. Regis couldn’t help the odd little smile that crept onto hislips, and old, tired eyes slipped shut again, enjoying the pleasant weight ofhis son’s shield draped over him in slumber. Tattooed wings unconsciouslycradled the king closer, and Regis was all the more happy to comply, revelingin the long line of hard muscle that hugged his backside. It was a familiarfeeling, much like the way Clarus fit snug against him when they were decadesyounger, but it was different somehow. There was a certain forbidden thrillRegis derived from feeling Gladio’s body aligned with his own, his breathtickling the hair on the back of his neck, and fingers pressing gently betweenhis.

Somewhere, drifting betwixt sleep and consciousness, Regisrealized that it was much later in the day than it was the last time he hadopened his eyes. Part of him panicked. Surely there was some meeting, somethinghe was late for, given the time, and he jolted, though not fully upright. Therewas still that comfortable pressure holding him in place. His eyes darted tohis right to see Gladio stretching, bare chest rising as he took a deep breath,then falling as he hummed, a placid smile on his beautiful lips.

“Mornin’, Your Majesty,” he drawled as he crept a hand upRegis’s back, and it was all the king cold do not to outwardly shiver. Yet, hefelt drawn back to him, and allowed Gladio to trace his lines with the tips ofhis fingers, luring him into a long, lavish kiss. Regis no longer felt the urgeto rush from point A to point B. Instead, he enjoyed the moment while itlasted; it wouldn’t be long before they would have to return to theirrespective duties, and to their other halves. Briefly, Regis wondered if hisshield was treating his son right, but he knew there was no real reason toworry.

“I think by now it’s more likely afternoon,” Regiscorrected, and Gladio chuckled low in his throat.

“Oops.”

Regis supposed he should have stopped the young shield fromcontinuing to kiss him, but he hated to admit that this was a rare luxury, onethat he wanted to relish in, even if it was a little selfish. He let thoselarge hands hold him, touch him, melt him back down to the floor of the tentwithout so much as a question.

“This was fun,” Gladio hummed, lips attached to His Majesty’sneck, no doubt leaving a mark that was sure to drive both prince and shieldalike crazy. “Let’s do it again sometime.” Regis sighed, running his handsthrough long, brunette hair.

“If only it were so easy.”

If only.
