May I request some headcanons of how the chocobros sleep (😴) with their s/o please?❤

Noctis

Sleep farter. He's woken himself up by farting before, so that's your problem now, too.

He's a... moody sleeper. Sometimes he grabs you to cuddle, and other times he pushes you away. He hogs the pillows and the blankets, but if you don't mind fighting, you can get them back. He also has a tendency to mumble in his sleep. Mind you, he does all this while ripping the most noxious ass you have ever smelled.

Prompto

How does Prompto sleep...?

... Violently. He wiggles in his sleep, and you're in the line of fire. He's the type that wakes up with mysterious bruises, but once you start to sleep with him, you understand where those bruises are coming from. It's a mystery how he gets any rest. Once you start sleeping with him, it's a mystery how you get any rest.

Ignis

You will never get used to sleeping with Ignis, but he will get used to sleeping with you. He doesn't go into a deep sleep until he feels safe around somebody. That's sweet!

... Once he hits that deep sleep, he doesn't move. Why does he look so gaunt? Is he breathing? His eyes look sunken in. You roll over, and it looks like he's been dead for three days. You find yourself checking to make sure he's still breathing. He's woken up to you holding a mirror under his nose.

Gladio

Gladio is nice to sleep with. He's muscular and tall, so when you lay on him, he's soft. He moves a normal amount, and he looks so peaceful. He's a sleep cuddler, so unless you run hot, it's heaven. You can fall asleep across the bed, and you'll still wake up in his arms.

... But he snores. Loud. You feel it in your chest. Get him to do a sleep study ASAP, because there's no way this is normal. God help you.

FFXV DRIVING HEADCANONS:

Noctis is the most relaxed driver. That doesn't necessarily mean he's the safest though. He's prone to being distracted by small things. I,e: passing cars listening to music he knows, a nice car model, the perfect fishing spots. He plays with the seat positioning so he can feel laid back, ALWAYS leaving a hand draped over the door when the Regalia's convertible is down.

Ignis is obviously the safest driver. He doesn't risk driving at night, being careful to read every road sign twice to be sure he's going the right way. In traffic he has a nervous reaction of tapping the wheel in rhythm to the music Prompto always demands is on.

Prompto is the worst driver. He breaks too hard, oversteers every corner slightly. Being the shortest he always positions the seat SOO close to the wheel. He always has to pull the sun visor down because his short ass is always directly in the sun's path. As previously mentioned, he ALWAYS has the music on. He also has a bad habit of fiddling with various switches and dials which Ignis has to correct later. He is too nervous to drive at night.

Gladiolus is the most reckless driver. An opportunity to drift the Regalia is always a corner away. He is more then happy to drive at night and is often having to use his charm to talk himself out of speeding tickets. He has to re-angle the rear view mirror due to being the tallest. His hair almost always brushes against the roof of the Regalia when it's up, and for that reason, he will only drive in good weather.

Noct and Gladio’s Relationship

This is just a strange mix of headcanon and chewing on dynamic between younger Noct and Gladio.

The Early Years: (Mostly Headcanon)

- The first time Gladiolus and Noctis ‘meet’ is when the Crown Prince of Lucis was first born, and he was presented to the public. It wasn’t even really a meeting, exactly.

- Several weeks after Noctis was born, the royal family appeared in the very front of the Citadel with him. The Amicitia family, sworn shields to the crown - and young Gladio included - also were there.

- Following Gladio’s canon age, I believe he would have been three or four at that time. He probably would have introduced to Baby Noctis by his parents, maybe been given the chance to hold him, before being brought back home following the festivities.

- following tradition, a portrait of the royal family was commissioned - with the Shield of the reigning monarchs standing tall, and their children - now the prospective shields for any royal heirs - alongside them. That would be a next meeting, I think.

- Around four/five, he would have been (in in public schooling) in pre-k, I think? In regards to the Amicitia family and their higher class, this probably translated to early tutoring. Likely, Gladio spent most of his time at home with Nannie’s of his own watching over him

- it goes without saying that, since Noctis was a literal baby at this time, that they didn’t have much of a relationship.

- For Gladio’s childhood, and Noctis’, this doesn’t really change in my headcanon. They’d probably see each other at functions (where young children actually could be), but the age of both of them - plus the difference between them - wouldn’t make for many opportunities to meet.

- If they were closer in age, I could see Gladio occasionally being watched over by Noctis’s nannies- maybe in a bid to have the future shield closer to his king. I can even see baby Gladio being pretty protective of Noctis (though it’s less out of duty, and more - oh, this is a tiny person. I protect).

- I can’t see this happening often, though. The Amicitia family surely has its own army of nannies, and in case of emergencies at the citadel, it would have been safer for Lord Amicitia’s only child at that point, to be home.

- Even when both Noctis and Gladio are older, this doesn’t change. Both would be tutored in their respective homes. If they were the same age, then maybe Gladio could have been tutored at the citadel - but as it is, they weren’t, and different ages made for different learning material, and so forth.

- and also, this lack of contact, lack of bond, lack of meeting, does come into play later in their lives (I’ll mention this in the Brotherhood section). By this, I mean Gladio’s opinion and perspective in regards to Noctis.

- They do physically run into each other on occasion. I can see Gladio, around ten or eleven, starting to take beginner classes in self-defense and combat at the Citadel, and he and Noctis both seeing each other during official functions - like luncheons and other things - but, and this doesn’t change until Brotherhood basically, they don’t really meet or interact past “Hi”, and “hello”.

Post-Marilith/Brotherhood: (Mostly Analysis)

Gladiolus is 23, only three years older than Noctis, in canon.

In the Brotherhood anime, he looks to be in his early-mid teenagers years, and Noctis is young in Gladio’s episode. I’d have to say around twelve, maybe thirteen. Which would make Gladiolus around sixteen or seventeen?

Unless Noctis is older at the time than I think he is, Gladio’s not old enough to be a member of the crownsguard (18) and likely not a Shield in the official capacity, even if it’s his title.

At this point in time, it’s evident that Gladio and Noctis do not get along well. The first interaction we see between mini-Noctis and Gladio is when the two are sparring.

Gladiolus sends Noctis flat on the ground with a single blow each time the younger comes at him. He’s several years older than Noctis, larger, and has more experience, so it makes sense.

This scene is where he’s trying to teach the Prince how to handle weaponry (like swords). Which I find interesting, because we don’t really get to see Gladio teaching. He doesn’t taunt Noctis, doesn’t bully him - but Gladio, in this scene, is very cool and collected. Stoic.

When he speaks, it’s only to tell Noctis to get up, that he can do better. The fact that he stands as straight as a rod, not positioned as though ready to brace, speaks leagues to the fact that Gladio is the one with power in the room - and he doesn’t tell Noctis how to improve his stance, how to swing -

(Then again, it’s late. They may have already gone over the basics earlier).

He tells Noctis ‘again’ and that he can do better, to which Noctis gets up the second time, says no and begins to leave the training room, essentially blowing of Gladiolus (to the elder’s eyes), because it is time for dinner with his father.

At the dinner, which Gladiolus is standing guard at nearby, Regis mentions that Noctis didn’t eat his carrots - and Noct says he hates carrots.

All in all, Gladio’s interactions with Noctis - and the superficial view of the actions the young Prince takes - leaves the future shield with a not-exactly glowing opinion of his future charge.

Gladiolus thinks Noctis is stuck-up and selfish. He’s recalcitrant when it comes to training, is picky when it comes to eating, and will do as he wants when he sees fit - because he is the one and only Prince of Lucis.

Gladio sees Noctis in impressions of short moments spent together or seen through the day.

He goes so far as to call Noctis spineless (Which. Is a poor choice of words, all things considered, and there’s also the fact that he’s a literal child).

Gladio says he’d be willing to be Regis’ shield, but never Noctis’, due to his bad impression of the Prince’s character. That Noctis would never be king (the implication being that Gladio thinks his character would make for a poor king).

Presumably, that is the extent of their relationship, come Noctis’ pre-teen years. Gladiolus standing guard in the proximity of the royal family (if not simply patrolling the citadel itself), and teaching Noctis combat.

Based off his behavior (Noctis having been a very bright and cheerful child prior to the attack, and becoming more stoic and quiet afterwards) and Gladio’s own age and perception of Noct (that he’s lazy, spoiled), this is really the only thing I can think of for this type of distance between them.

Like I mentioned earlier, they probably did see each other around. Noctis had to sit in on meeting with Regis and the council, at least in later teen years, and Gladiolus surely would have spent a lot of time at the Citadel training with the crownsguard- and also, probably sitting in on the meetings where Noct was present.

But they weren’t often in the same areas? Noctis had the crownsguard and kingsglaive guarding him while at the citadel, and both he and Gladio had school to attend. Most likely, I see Noctis - prior to high school and Prompto - spending most of his time doing charity, other royal duties, or in his room, while Gladio would be training.

They…wouldn’t exactly interact with each other, most likely.

Gladiolus only becomes more ‘open’ towards Noctis following the incident where Iris had gotten lost in the citadel, looking for a stray cat, and Noct had lied to keep Iris from getting in trouble - getting grounded in the process.

Which displays the fact that there is a selfless side to the ‘selfish’ Prince, and leads to Gladiolus essentially getting over his preconceived notions about Noctis, if only a little bit.

So, Gladio and Noct’s friendship begins around there.

You’d always known Gladio was a hopeless but passionate romantic; he always showered you with his seemingly limitless love. It was new for you; your other boyfriends couldn’t live up to Gladio’s level. He’d always go beyond the bare minimum, not by a little but by a lot. And every little thing he did sent a flutter of butterflies to roam through your chest and stomach, causing you to giggle and kick your feet happily. 

Gladio loved you and wasn’t afraid to show it, whether you be in public or even in private. His hands were on your waist, on your hips or even holding your hand as you walked through the streets of Lucis. He’d always be touching some part of you, especially if you weren’t comfortable with PDA.

If you were having a bad day, he’d be there in an instant - even if he was supposed to be dealing with Noctis. But he has been warned he was only to watch over Noctis, not fully babysit him. Besides, it was his day off when he came to your apartment, using the spare key he had to come right in. He’d have everything for you too, from the snacks, favorite drinks, blankets and even getting your favorite movie ready. His arm rubbing your back as he listens to you cry and vent out your problems. And if you didn’t feel like talking? Don’t worry he’s still gonna c uddle you and wait for you to talk as you two simply sit there together.

Even if Gladio is having a bad day, he does have somewhat of a habit of not wanting to talk about things. Especially since he was the one to take up the family mantle of the shield for the crown. But with gentle hands on his arm, his face and a little kiss he can find himself fully relaxing into your arms as he tells you what’s happened, his body falling lax as he lays his head on your stomach. 

Noctis and Prompto are most def jealous of Gladio being able to pick someone like you up so easily. Gladio having to listen to the way they rant. “One day you two will find someone.” he would always say as he sends a text to you, asking how you would like to go on a date that night. 

I wanna tell you how much he worships the ground you walk on, calling you his little prince(ss) sometimes. Or even his flower. My god this man if you were to marry him he’d go way above and beyond, even more so for you. 

Some angst: He’s always worried over you, protective over you especially when the fall happened. To which he does end up double texting you or he’ll go radio silent due to the issues happening. He always makes sure to reassure you everything will be okay, everything is alright, that you guys will get through this together. 

And Gladio is a family man, he’s very protective of those he does consider family. So he would be all for marriage, and having kids with you. And i’m not talking about just one or two, he would want a lot of them. But he’d be fine with one or two if that’s what you want.

Ffxv headcanons whatever type you want just share with the class

Noctis: When he was a kid, he used to lift up rocks to see what critters lived underneath them. He stopped around nine or ten when he accidentally pissed off a snake and got bit. It spooked him so bad that he didn't do anything like that again until he went on the frog side quest. Now that he's over his fear, Noctis is always flipping over rocks and ushering Prompto to come over and take photos of the animals and bugs he finds.

Gladio: There's a saying among the kingsguard that, "if you give Gladiolus a beer and a mic, you're gonna have a GREAT time!" He's quite good at karaoke, and despite the gruff voice, he can hit high notes. Singing was something Gladio and his sister did together while growing up. While Gladio didn't like her taste in music, being the big brother, he still sang her favs to and with her. He tried to keep this hobby a secret until he had one too many drinks with his comrades. He's since embraced his reputation over the years, and isn't as embarrassed about it.

Ignis: There are a few things in this world that can make this man mentally break, but Feng Shui nearly destroyed him. Ignis got into the practice initially in an attempt to get Noctis to have better organization in his apartment. Per usual, Noctis didn't appreciate the principles, but it rubbed off on Ignis to the point where he became obsessed with Feng Shui. He did it to all the rooms in the palace, much to King Regis's chagrin. It all backfired when Ignis attempted to Feng Shui his own residence. Nothing satisfied him, and after he didn't come out for almost 10 hrs rearranging furniture, Noctis had to give him an intervention. After that, he swore off the practice. Sometimes, he'll get irritated if he hears about it in passing.

Prompto: In his spare time when he's not with a camera, Prompto is on a computer learning to code. While he's not the best at it, Prompto enjoys the process cause it satisfies a mental itch (he gets that from his father...haha). It's his dream to one day make a game like Kings Knight. He has pages of concept sketches for apps, and other social media ideas he'd like to try creating one day. He seldom shares his passion with the boys, assuming they'll think it's too nerdy.

Lunafreya: It isn't considered "proper" by an means for someone of her status, but Luna enjoys watching duels on TV or in person. Ravus from a young age was always taught how to be a warrior, and she felt left out on numerous occasions when he'd be sent off to learn sparring lessons among other trainings. As a kid, she used to sneak away from her home in Tenebrae to watch people battle for fun. Observing others helped her hone in her own skills, and she's memorized different stances and techniques over the years. She also used to place bets on people who fought, and did get into trouble at one point because of it.

Ardyn: He's very aloof and no one knows what the hell he does in his spare time when not running a country. He has the craziest of rumors made up about him, and he ravishes in how it all scares and fascinates people. What people don't know is that he often sneaks around Niflheim and observes others for his sketchbook. When he was a healer, he had a book of medicinal plants that he'd catalog and sketch out himself. It's one of the few things that soothes his mind anymore with the daemons he has in his head. For a few hours, Ardyn can silence them by focusing on capturing the details from another person or thing in his work. It's also his only means of connecting with humans given how far he's gone. His style is kind of like Da Vinci's, very detailed with lots of notes here and there. When he's sketching its also the time where he'll snack on something sweet like candy from his pocket. In general he'll always have candy on his person, but he likes savoring it without an audience.

See my earlier post about SQEX's preferred jobs for the bros - keeping in mind the collab was released in Dec 2018 for FFXV before FFXIV: Shadowbringer's 2019 release. Read this earlier post re: why I feel RDM doesn't fit Noctis plus other users' thoughts on the matter.

Anyway, FFXIV jobs I'd assign the other FFXV characters:

Aranea - DRG

Iris - PCT

Luna - WHM / LNC (still early lvls, no DRG job stone) / BTN

Cor - SAM

Ardyn - WHM then DRK/RPR -> Ardyn & Luna parallels w/ both initially as WHM

Ravus - ?? DRK (idk Ravus fans help me out here)

Other jobs I think could fit:

Gladio - GNB

Hear me out. Gunbreaker (GNB) is all about being a protector or a guardian (FFVIII) and more importantly having someone - or some important cause like one's country or freedom - to protect. I think Gladio could relate to FFXIV's Dalmascans what with the loss of their liege and country due to imperial invasion. Also FFXIV's GNB was an art passed down from generation to generation and originated from royal guards.

BUT I think Gladio would prefer more traditional forms of weaponry and combat, which is why I picked WAR and DRK for him! WAR is self-explanatory (unga bunga) and who doesn't love Fell Cleave? SAM comes after he's completed Episode Gladio.

Noctis - FSH max lvl / SMN

The kind of guy who spends weeks chasing after ruby dragons or cinder surprises or whatever the fuck FSH enthusiasts get up to these days. I think he'd be amused by the name carbuncleplushy (iykyk).

Ignis - CUL / SGE / VPR / DRG

I'll expand on my choices for Ignis since I didn't explain them earlier. Our FFXV light party desperately needs a healer, so Ignis steps up. Like Alphinaud, he originally was a strategist healer (SCH - scholar) but decided he didn't vibe with Eos/Selene or the angel aesthetic and switched to sage (SGE) /jk

I think healing via DPS fits Ignis and he can swap Kardia between Gladio (MT - the main tank), Noctis, Prompto or even himself. Plus lasers.

About DPS jobs for Ignis - NIN has the traditional Japanese aesthetic while I see Ignis as more of a modern kind of guy. VPR's ability to switch between dual blades <--> one longarm represents Ignis' gameplay really well imo, and it also suits Noctis who has the armiger at his disposal. DRG bc Ignis obv has the hops n jumps, esp in Episode Ignis.

Bonus: I think Ignis would make a fetching RDM! Plus it incorporates his ability to use magic and heal.

Luna - SCH?

@noctswife suggested SCH for Luna, which was great to read:

I think Luna and Noctis both having arcanist (ACN) - the prerequisite class to SCH and SMN in FFXIV - in common works narratively wrt to FFXV's story, i.e. Luna and Noctis are the only ones able to really communicate with the Astrals (excl. Ardyn). Whether it's WHM or SCH, I think we can all agree Noctis and Luna have that tank/healer dynamic going on!

Anyway ty to everyone who shared their thoughts on the other posts about job classes for Noctis. Feel free to agree / disagree here, it's all for fun! Or correct me if I missed sth or incl any inaccuracies.

Hi how are you? May I request something with ff characters of your choice going to a haunted house thing for Halloween and the reader is just chill about the whole thing because they experience weird shit of the paranormal and supernatural a few times a week and are kind of used to it?

Noctis

Everybody's gangster until the person in the Walmart witch costume starts chasing them.

He's taking you to a classic Halloween attraction. An attraction that pops up every year, staffed by college students in cheap costumes, bushes covered in fake cobwebs. He takes you here because he knows you're in tune with the paranormal, and he wants to sleep later. He's not about to encounter Real Shit because of you.

Despite how cheesy and predictable the whole situation is? Noctis still gets scared. At first, he walks with his hand on the small of your back. By the end of the date, he's sweating and grabbing the back of your shirt.

At the end of the tour, when he thinks he's safe? A man in a zombie costume pops around a corner and shrieks at you guys. Noctis, who has years of combat training, slaps him. It's not even a strong slap. The actor breaks character, doubled over laughing while Noctis stares into the distance.

Prompto

You'd think he'd be scared, but he's relatively okay.

He's most likely to take you somewhere highly interactive. You walk away with a cute picture of you guys with an actor in a high quality, terrifying costume. He's trying to get them to break character and laugh.

Everyone misunderstands Prompto. He's not a fan of being scared when he isn't expecting it. If he's going to a haunted house, he's excited and laughing through screams. Prompto's beef is with Real Life terror, like when you point out a spirit in a cave or some bizarre shit.

He might point to a person in a ghost costume and ask, "Do you know them?"

Ignis

The most scared. Which makes no sense, because he's seen horrifying things in real life.

Ignis doesn't believe in the paranormal in the way that a man in a world where daemons and magic exist should. He's taking you to tour a house that claims it's really haunted.

He's fine at first, but it's really easy to unnerve him. You stare at a corner for a long time, because you see an unattended little girl staring at you. You mention to Ignis that you should find her parents. Ignis does not see the girl. A minute later, she runs up and hugs him, and he complains that it's gotten really cold.

Ignis might leave the house terrified, but he doesn't let on that he's scared. You can only tell because he's got a death grip on your hand. Later that night, you catch him googling how to make sure spirits stay out of your home.

Gladio

Gladio takes you to a high quality attraction. The focus is on slasher horror. Ghosts don't spook the ghost whisperer, he figures, so I'm going to see her get spooked by a guy with a bloody chainsaw.

You honestly take this opportunity to fuck with him. In the middle of the tour, you pause and pretend to have a conversation with a ghost. You're really playing up the fact that his costume is "really lifelike," and "is making you nauseous from the smell." Gladio can't see or smell shit (because nothing is there), and now he's mad he can't scare you.

At the end of the tour, as you slide into his car, it's a spider on the windshield that gets both of you to lose your minds. It's huge, and Gladio turns on the wipers to knock it off. There's silence when you realize the spider is on the inside of the car.

Coming home late from work. You nearly drop everything in your hands as you try to search for your keys. You cursed under your breath; you wanted to cry, and maybe you were. You slammed your hand on the doorknob and threw open the door. The door had been left unlocked. Gladiolus heard the noises and had moved to the door. Your stuff fell, and Gladiolus picked it up and led you inside the house.

“Don't worry about it. It's okay.” He said as he sat you on the couch. You buried your head in your hands as Gladiolus went about putting your stuff away and came back with a cup of noodles. He wasn't much of a cook, but it didn't matter. He made you food, and it was still warm. The baby started to make noises, and you closed your eyes.

“Don't worry, I got it.” He said gently as he left to take care of your child.

You finished your food. You couldn't remember what happened next, but you woke up in bed, and your shoes were gone. Gladiolus had moved you to the bed. He didn't want you to sleep on the couch. Your pajamas were neatly folded beside you. If you wanted to change into something more comfortable, he knew your nightly routine. He made sure everything was easily accessible.

So, I'm falling back into the FFXV kick, and I have decided that I disapprove of how little complex character development Square Enix has given the guys?? Like where is the emotional depth beyond surface-level cutscene angst?? So I took matters into my own hands and have compiled a handy little list of headcanons / expanded canons that I think make sense.

Noctis: Has clinical insomnia and frequent lucid dreams (sorta a given, but bear w me bear w me)

Feels the weight of having to take so much on from such a young age much, much more than he lets on

Loves to argue

Would've been happier if he and Luna stayed as childhood best-buds rather than betrothed fiancés (controversial, ik, but it just didn't seem like he cared that much for her romantically to me?? Like he obviously cared about her, but it seemed like a really strong penpal vibe rather than a "We're-gonna-get-married-and-be-the-next-hotshot-couple" vibe. If you disagree, coolio, I'm not gonna debate w you on this one)

Has a natural sadness to his eyes regardless of what he's feeling

Went through an anime phase (possibly still in his anime phase, idk)

Social anxiety for the win

Severe RBF

Prefers tea over coffee (black tea is best---particularly lavender earl grey)

Can play the cello (practicing tho?? Don't know her)

Writes the most beautiful poetry when The Motivation™ strikes him (usually when he's home sick and half-delirious)

Prompto: Has ADHD and clinical anxiety, but is undiagnosed and doesn't take any meds for either of them.

Is legit like SO SMART, but can never focus, so not many people take any notice

Wears contact lenses (he had glasses as a child and I refuse to believe he had some high-tech corrective surgery to eliminate the need for them when lenses are cheaper and less risky)

Doesn't drink caffeine because it makes him jittery

Doesn't drive the Regalia when the guys are around because having other people in the car distracts him from the road. Also he tends to drive like a speed demon, which worries Ignis to no end.

Sunburns insanely easily

Could legit become a hitman if he wanted to with the amount of gun-knowledge he has. It doesn't matter what firearm you put in this boy's hand---pistol, SMG, sniper, rocket launcher, you name it. He can and will hit the target every single time.

Addicted to adrenaline

Has a lot of self-loathing (we see a bit of this in Ep. Prompto) and talks with an online therapist about it via text whenever his lows hit him. He's making great progress in learning how to heal and how to accept himself for who he is beyond the mask he wears for others

Ignis: More than a little bit of a control freak, and works very hard not to be too overbearing or critical about his friends' misgivings

Hypochondriac

Wants to protect everyone all the time and mentally kicks himself when he doesn't get there fast enough

Is SO PROUD of Noctis's journey and felt a stronger hatred towards Ardyn than anyone else in the group for what he forced Noct to go through (he stayed up at night sick to his stomach with hollow rage and baked nonstop to take his mind off of it)

Can verbally obliterate a man, but only rarely chooses to do so bc he's classy like that

After losing his eyes, he notices so much more beauty in the world than he used to (the sound of rain on the Regalia's roof, the specific gait of each of his friends, the smell of salt on the wind in Galdin Quay, the flawless feel of one specific silk tie he has in his repertoire, etc)

His internal compass is never wrong

Regularly takes antacids for his stomach

Has the straightest teeth you've ever seen

Gladio: Hates being wrong: it's his way or the highway

Actually so much smarter than the musclehead jock front he puts up

A little vain and easily jealous (this man has a Jealous Face like no other)

Had a dinosaur phase as a kid and can still name random facts about them whenever the opportunity presents itself

Avid technology-hater and only has a phone to make calls and join the others in playing King's Knight since they begged him so profoundly (he's sure the thing's going to be his downfall)

Headcanon that when Gladio finishes a book, he's quiet for the next hours/days. (You know how when you watch a movie in the cinema, and when you walk out you're all like woowwwwww, with your thoughts elsewhere? That.)

And then, then the thoughts come. All the opinions on how this is great, but even more when it's bad and he needs to get the frustration out.

He especially likes discussing it with Ignis, who, even if he hasn't read the book, likes to dissect and discuss it. When Ignis agrees, it's great! When he disagrees with something (and god forbid, criticizes what a character Gladio loves did) Gladio can get very protective of his book <3

Ignis just likes the passion in his eyes when he talks about something he loves.
