now i am thinking abt how dao ( earth genies ), earth genasi and likely other earth elemental races might consider the markings / physical expressions of their ancestry on their children to have some sort of prophetic value ... e.g. aeren's sun/moonstone embedded in his chest would've forewarned how he'd come upon a time in which he'd struggle with self-acceptance and be thrust towards a new beginning. smth smth about his transition; the price he'd pay for it ( gbye left eye ) ...
