Team Principal Crash Course
I know someoneâs probably done one of these, and Iâm sure they are much prettier than mine. Iâm going through a divorce with PowerPoint rn
But Iâve always wanted to do one of these!!! Also I needed an excuse to not sleep / do any actual productive work
This is for @landobviously and any new people to f1, although Iâm not sure this is actually very helpful
Mercedes: Toto Wolff
Team principal and CEO
low key hot, has the floofiest hair.
His name is actually Torger Christian Wolff which I love even more than Toto.
Austria business man who personally owns 30% of Mercedes stock?? He originally owned shares for Williams but has sold them all :(
I think heâs pretty much unproblematic? But Iâm a Mercedes Hoe so probably biased.
Heâs married to Susie Wolff who used to be a racing driver. She did DTM, Formula Renault + F3 and was also a development/test driver for Williams (becoming the second woman to ever take part in an f1 weekend, 22 years after the first) She is now the team principle of a Formula-E team, Venturi Racing which is co-founded by Leonardo DiCaprio??
RedBull : Christian Horner
This is the fucker they interview All. Of. The. Fricking. Time.
Someone will breathe and they be like âletâs go to the pit lane to get Christians thoughts on thisâ
But heâs pretty funny and all of the other guys tend to shy away from the cameras so Iâm not that pissed about it but like, sky Sports love him.
Has donkeys named after Max and Daniel
He fell in love with Sebastian Vettel and is still low key pissed that he abandoned them. Also his daughters favourite driver is Seb
Has major beef with Cyril (Renault team principal)
Married a Spice Girl, some of the RedBull boys go with him sometimes to her concerts and they wear her merch
Okay usually I would go Ferrari next, but theyâre a midfielder now so..
McLaren: Zak Brown
Gets treated like team principal but is actually CEO
American, says duuuude a lot
Used to be a professional driver and I think he was actually good?? But idk
I hated him at first but honestly he seems pretty chill?
Gives the biggest bear hugs
Andreas Seidl
Is actually Team Principal
Falls under the radar
Just kinda hangs around looking judgy all the time
When he does speak I can never understand a word he says
Renault: Cyril Abiteboul
The Frenchiest French guy to ever French
Sacked Hulk for Ocon (whoâs French) although thatâs completely unfair of me since Hulk has entered 179 gps and yet has never gotten a podium (which is a record by the way!!!)
Will find beef in anything, and then yell at you for it. Or give you evil eyes from across the room
Cyril fuckers do not deserve rights you know who you are
Got scammed by Daniel Ricciardo
Hates Christian Horner
Brought Alonso back??
Doesnât deserve to have any junior drivers
Renault Lotus used to be a pretty popular engine supplier in f1 but aftee this year they will be the only ones on the grid using it. Yeah this isnât about Cyril at all but it makes him yell which makes me laugh so
Racing Point: Lawrence Stroll
Part owner of Racing Point, and invested ÂŁ182m in Aston Martin?? Hence the name change next year
Pretty sure he owns a private island, put I have zero proof
Bought the team when itâs owner went to jail for fraud and the team went into debt. But for whatever reason they couldnât actually buy the shares so instead they just had to rename it and pretend theyâre a new constructor. Midway through the season.
Daddy Stroll but NOT because of his looks. Heâs just rich as fuck and promoted his kid Lance Stroll into one of the seats (who is actually a pretty good driver and doesnât deserve any hate at all)
Otmar Szafnauer
Team Principal
Low key thought he was the one that went to jail so... yeah I know nothing about this guy
apparently he is litterally in the Hall Of Fame
Ferrari: Mattia Binotto
Fun fact, he actually used to run a circus Iâm kidding.
he runs one now though
Looks like an older and more permanently confused Chal Lelerc
Last year was his first season as a team principal and boy can you tell
Is the parent that says he doesnât have favourites but then always takes the youngestâs side and thinks that theyâre an angel child that can never do anything wrong
Alpha Tauri: Franz Tost
Looks so soft
I know nothing about him, but Iâm pretty sure heâs in love with Seb
Ummm I donât think heâs problematic? But itâs red bull so who knows
Has the exact same vibes as beans and sausages on toast and I will not expand on that itâs probably because of the name tbh
Haas: Guenther Steiner
Is the đ€Ź emoji personified, every second word that comes out of his mouth is a swear
âWe look like a bunch of fucking wankersâ
Iâm not exaggerating when I say Iâm scared of him
Literally the most terrifying man alive
Will yell ALL THE TIME about literally ANYTHING
Keeps putting KMag and Romain together even though they spend more time crashing into each other than actually racing?? And yet is equally surprised everytime???
âWeâve got two fucking idiots driving for usâ and have done for FOUR YEARS. Haas have only been a team for five years, and theyâve only ever had one other driver
But I love them both
Fell for whatever the fuck Rich Energy was
Alfa Romeo: Frédéric Vasseur
Team Principal and CEO
Iâve never seen this man in my life
Used to be team Principle of Renault???2016-2017??? Whaaaa????
Williams: Sir Frank Williams
Founder and team principal
Old as fuck
a big name in motor sport
Used to be a long distance runner, now has a wheel chair because he got into a car accident on the way to a fun run :(
Literally built Williams from the ground up (and they used to be very good I swear)
Claire Williams
Deputy team Principal (but actually does all of the stuff)
the only important woman
Doesnât deserve any of the hate she gets (and she gets a lot)
Sheâs trying her best okay
The âthis is fineâ meme personified
#f1#im not going to tag this#i cannot be bothered#idk what this is#yes i lowkey turned this into a post about susie wolff#what about it

Previous Chapter - Next Chapter
âAlright, Black Squadron, best behavior. This isnât just my dad weâre visiting, heâs a rebellion hero, donât forget.â
âHow could we when itâs all you remind us of?â Jess teased, her voice vibrating through the intercom of Poeâs borrowed ship. He laughed and shook his head as he flipped off the speaker. He could see the outline of his childhood home as they approached, and couldnât help but take in a deep breath. It has been quite some time since he had last been home, and with the news he was bringing, he wasnât too excited to be back.
He received a transmission from Leia earlier that day, informing him that she and a small group from the Resistance would be meeting him down on Yavin-4. The goal of this visit was to secure a temporary base at Poeâs fatherâs home, as well as start mounting their return. Although he was excited to see his father again, and to have the Resistance back together, Poe now had to face the arduous task of convincing his father to help.
After the Battle of Endor, Kes Dameron and his wife, Shara Bey, decided to start a different life on Yavin-4. They planted their Force Tree in the back yard and watched it grow as their only son did, too, far away from the fighting within the rest of the galaxy. Shara Bey continued to fly to protect Yavin-4, and when Poe was eight years old, she died. Kes was a strong man, but Poe knew that his father worried about Poe finding the same fate as his mother. Kes never joined up with the Resistance again, but supported Poe through everything he did. Poe just hoped that this was one of those times, too. He hoped that he could convince his father that he still had some fighting years left in him yet.
Poe landed his ship a couple yards from his home and took a few moments before he even opened the hood of his ship. BB-8 asked what he was doing, forcing Poe to face his task. He climbed out of the ship and landed on the soft mud of the jungle, his boots sinking slightly into the ground.
âThis is home?â Suralinda asked. Poe laughed nervously and looked around. As always, there was a stream of smoke coming from the top of his house. The Force tree was visible from around the side of the house, its massive branches challenging the hundreds of years old trees around it. Scattered on the front porch were pairs of shoes and a few farming and gardening tools. It was as if nothing had changed since he was last here.
He made his way forward and Poe didnât have to get more than four feet away from the house before the front door swung open and Kes Dameron ran to embrace his son.
âHey, Dad,â Poe said, hugging his broad frame just as firmly.
âI see youâve brought friends,â Kes said, clapping him on the back when he pulled away. Poe smiled and nodded his head.
âYes. Dad, this is Black Squadron. Black Squadron, this is my father, Sergeant Kes Dameron.â
âStop it with that Sergeant shit,â Kes said, walking towards Black Squadron, giving each of them a firm handshake. âCall me Kes. Youâre all welcome in my home.â They all greeted him back warmly and began to file into the house. Poe brought up the rear and touched his dad on the back carefully, pulling his attention away from hosting duties.
âThink you can welcome a few more?â Poe asked.
âSomething you want to tell me?â Kes asked, stopping on his front porch.
âYes.â Kes motioned to the chairs in front of the house and took a seat next to his son.
âAre you alright? You look pale,â Kes said, studying his sonâs face closely.
âThe Resistance is on its last leg, Dad. The First Order took out our base on DâQar. We just barely escaped with our lives. Weâre down to almost a quarter of what we had before and the First Order just seems to be getting stronger. Hell, they were able to track us through lightspeed.â Kes shook his head and frowned back at Poe.
âI heard about the Hosnian System. A weapon of that power . . .â
âI know, which is why itâs such a good thing we took it out when we did. But the First Order is getting stronger every passing minute, and weâre losing steam.â
âWell, thereâs always a light, you just canât see it all the time. Donât lose your hope, son.â
âI wonât. I never will,â Poe said, smiling a little. âBut I need some help.â
âComing to your old man for advice?â Poe laughed and shook his head.
âA little more than advice. General Organa will be here later with a few other members of the Resistance. She wants to set up a temporary base here.â
âHere?â
âYes. We have plans to set up base on Serenno, but Leia doesnât fully trust their count yet.â
âI didnât realize she had any kind of relationship with Serenno.â
âShe doesnât,â Poe sighed, throwing his arm over the back of his chair, âItâs Y/Nâs connection.â
âY/N? As in your Y/N?â Kes asked. Poe laughed softly and nodded his head.
âYes, although, sheâs not mine.â
âNot anymore,â Kes said with a frown. Instead of divulging into that with his father, Poe continued on.
âLeia doesnât trust him just yet and wants to set up a more secure base here until a better, more permanent location can be found.â
âBut we already had a base here,â Kes said with a shake of his head, âThe First Order knows that.â
âShe wants to run operations here, right here. Nothing too big. We just need to start rallying the troops for a big fight, whenever thatâs going to happen. Hopefully, weâll be out of your hair fairly soon, but as it stands now, this is our best bet.â
âAlright,â Kes said after a long pause.
âYou mean it?â
âYeah, I do,â he said with a smile.
âThank you,â Poe said, clapping his fatherâs shoulder. The Dameron men stood up and started walking towards the front door, going to find their forgotten guests.
âI didnât realize Y/N was working with the Resistance again,â Kes said as he opened the door.
âShe was going to do some campaigning for us, start to get us some more help, right before everything went to shit. She was on base when the First Order attacked.â Kes nodded as he followed his son into the kitchen to get drinks for everyone.
âAnd howâs that going?â
âThe same,â Poe said, glancing at him briefly.
âWhat about tall, dark, and blue-skinned out there? Just by one look, I can see that she cares about you a great deal.â
âSura? No, weâre friends, just friends. Weâve always been best like that,â Poe said, shaking his head, âI met her in the navy.â
âSo, youâve got a history,â Kes said, carrying a tray of drinks to the living room.
âYeah, you could say that,â Poe muttered under his breath.
His friends looked tired as he took them all in, spread out along his fatherâs couches. Suralinda looked like she was about to fall asleep on Jessikaâs shoulder. Jess was bruised and had dried blood all over her but was somehow still managing to keep her head up. Snap had his arm firmly around KarĂ©, as if he was never going to let her go again. They were all exhausted, but when he came into the room, their spirits lifted.
They thanked Kes for the drinks and went on telling him what happened, including Poeâs daring rescue. Kes nudged his son with his knee, and Poe knew that he was thinking of his mother. Once they had a chance to catch their breaths and catch up, Poe got to work with his squadron on unloading the few supplies they were able to take from Ikkrukk. As they worked, The Millennium Falcon landed near their ships an hour later.
âWelcome to Yavin-4, Dameron properties,â Poe said ceremoniously, jogging to the ramp as Leia exited the Falcon. She rolled her eyes and took his outstretched hand.
âHowâs your father?â she asked, walking with him towards the house.
âGood. Ready to help.â
âGood,â she said, patting his cheek.
âLeia.â Both Poe and Leia turned to the front door and saw Kes standing with a sad smile on his face.
âHello, Kes.â
âItâs good to see you, Leia,â he said as he stepped down the few steps of his home. He wrapped Leia in a tight hug.
âYou too,â she said, smiling up at him. âCan I see it?â
âOf course.â
Poe followed them around back where Kes led Leia to the Force tree he and Shara Bey had planted when Poe was young. The seedling had turned into a giant tree, much larger than the one that was tattooed on Poeâs back.
âOh, I miss her. I wish she could see all of this,â Leia said, touching a hand to her chest. âWell, maybe not all of it, but the good parts.â
âI know,â Kes said, looking thoughtfully up at the tree, âBut sheâs here. Part of her will always be.â Leia nodded and looked back at Poe. She gave him a smile as he wiped away a tear that had dared to fall from his eye.
âCome on, thereâs no time for sadness right now. Weâve got planning to do. Kes, I want to introduce you to a few of our new friends.â

The flight to Yavin-4 had been a smooth one, but the entire ride your stomach had been in knots. It wasnât every day that you saw your ex-father-in-law for the first time since breaking your ex-husbandâs heart and the thought of doing so had you in a puddle of anxiety. As you departed the Millennium Falcon, you peered around the all too familiar farm, looking for a trace of either Dameron. Even though you had seen him only a day or so ago, you really missed Poe and needed to see his face.
Everyone who had come to Yavin-4 had begun to move around, talking with the rough looking Black Squadron and getting acquainted with the jungle. You looked at the house, unchanged from the last time you had been here years ago. Even with everyone coming in and out of it in a hurry, it was as warm and welcoming as ever. You smiled gently looking at it, and as your mind wandered to some happier memories, you didnât notice Kes Dameron come up behind you.
âWell, well, well.â You turned slowly, the sleeves on your dress brushing on the jungle floor as you did. If Poe had grown a few inches taller, he would have been the spitting image of his father. He had the curls of Shara Bey, and her spirit for sure, but his looks were only Kes.
âKes,â you said, smiling sadly.
âY/N.â He started walking towards you, and you clenched up, worried he was going to scream at you for breaking his only sonâs heart. But as he got closer, he matched your smile and embraced you tightly. âItâs good to see you again.â
âYou too,â you said breathlessly. You relaxed in his arms and hugged him back, taking in his warm scent of leather and cinnamon, and his strong arms that were so much like Poeâs. He pulled away first, and when he did, he held you out at armâs length.
âUnsurprisingly, you look beautiful,â he said with a kind smile. You could have cried.
âThank you. Itâs so good to see you,â you said again, your voice cracking a little. He nodded in agreement and smiled.
âHow are you?â
âIâm alright.â You looked into his eyes for too long; the eyes that were so much like his sonâs. âIâ Iâm sorry for . . .â you trailed off, unsure of where to start, âFor everything.â
âI know,â he said, frowning. âMe too.â
âDad?â You both looked to the house and saw Poe looking at the two of you wide-eyed. You nodded his way and Kes left you to speak with his son. As they did, Poe kept glancing over at you.
It was so strange to be back here with the way things were. Once so sure of it, you had no idea what your place was here. Poe clapped his fatherâs shoulder as the elder Dameron walked inside and Poe strolled across the grounds.
âHey,â you said, wrapping your arms around yourself. âIâm so glad to see you safe.â
âMe too,â he said with a smile, âTheyâre getting ready to start the debriefing in there.â He nodded towards the house and when you didnât respond, he started to walk towards it. But when he saw that you didnât move, he stopped. Your eyes were trailing over him, checking for any signs of injury. âYou okay?â he asked.
âYeah,â you said, taking a step towards him, âMy parents are alive.â
âWhat? Thatâs great,â Poe said with a smile.
âYeah.â
âHow?â
âThey were on Serenno when the Hosnian System was destroyed.â
âThatâs great, Y/N,â he said again. You nodded, swallowing the lump in your throat. âWhat is it?â he asked, taking a step towards you.
âNothing,â you said, feeling a tear streak from your eye. He touched your forearm, standing a few inches away from you. âJustâ When your dad hugged me, he really hugged me,â you said. Poe frowned as he pulled you into his chest, kissing your forehead. He hugged you tightly, tighter than his father had.
âWhatâs wrong with that?â he asked, looking at you seriously. You scoffed and shook your head, pulling out of his arms.
âHe should hate me.â
âY/N,â he started. He brought you back in his arms, holding you firm to his chest as he looked in your eyes.
âYou both should.â
âNo one can ever hate you, Y/N,â he said, looking at you seriously. âAnd itâs a good thing, him hugging you, thatâs a good thing.â You wiped at your tears and nodded. âWhy were your parents on Serenno?â
âYou know why,â you said with a sigh. He nodded sadly. âWe should probably get to that meeting.â
âWe know what theyâre going to say.â
âWe shouldnât be the only ones missing,â you said, taking in a breath as you broke from his arms and walked towards the house. Poe followed one step behind you. As the two of you entered, you found your friends gathered in the living room. NovĂ© was now sitting next to Jessika, with Jess leaning against her shoulder this time. They both smiled at you and you took a seat on the couch next to them. Poe went to stand by his father, whispering something to him as Leia began her debriefing.
Everyone agreed that they couldnât put their faith in Lin Ral. You tried not to be hurt by that, but the fact that they didnât trust your judgment stung. Tomorrow, the remaining ground troops would head to the old base of the rebellion, led by both Damerons. You needed to head back to Serenno as soon as possible, Leia instructed, to get started on rebuilding the Republic, but also to squash any suspicion the rest of the Resistance may have.
You argued for checking on Naboo, but Leia confirmed your worse fear. Without the Resistanceâs supplies and the lack of contact from Naboo, they couldnât risk a blind reconnaissance mission. Leia encouraged you and NovĂ© to keep reaching out, but until a connection could be made, you were stuck with the Resistance.
As she wrapped up her debriefing, Poe and Kes told everyone about the schematics of the house and instructed where the supplies could be held. The ranch would make a good base for the small number of people that were still with the Resistance, but if their numbers grew as they hoped, it couldnât hold everyone. That problem was soon actualized as night fell over the jungle.
The day had been spent mapping out strategies and establishing the base around the Dameron homestead, and when night fell, no one wanted to fly back to Serenno. Rooms were divided up amongst the group, but it was clear that there wouldnât be enough. Poe offered up his old room to Leia, who by all accounts needed the most rest. She argued for a moment, but eventually conceded. Snap and KarĂ© took one of the guest beds, and Sura and Jess offered to sleep on the couches in that room. Eventually, all inhabitable places were taken up, including some back on the Falcon, until the only two left were you and Poe.
âMy lady, we need to find somewhere for you to sleep,â NovĂ© said, coming to stand by your side.
âIâll be fine wherever. I can just take a space on theââ
âYou know, I think thereâs still that cot up in the attic,â Kes said, stepping up to join your discussion.
âPerfect,â you said, a little reluctantly. Kes had a similar glow in his eyes that Poe got when he had a plan that usually ended up getting you into some kind of trouble.
âItâs up in the attic, behind some boxes, canât miss it.â
âThanks.â You looked to NovĂ©, who had also yet to be assigned a sleeping place. âWhat about you?â She smirked and pulled you aside as everyone left in the room started to clear out.
âJess and I were thinking about camping out tonight,â she said.
âOh my god,â you said, part excited, part worried. âIs that safe? Are you a thing now? Iâ I have a million questions, but youâve got a date it seems like,â you said, stopping yourself as she frowned at you.
âYouâll be alright?â she asked.
âYeah, I think I can find my way around the house.â She smiled and gave your hand a squeeze. Jessika appeared in the doorway and looked at NovĂ© lovingly. You gave her a shove towards the door and made your way upstairs. You walked past Poeâs old room and stopped in your tracks.
âY/N.â You took a step inside and found Leia sitting on the edge of the bed. Her eyes were heavy, like everyoneâs hearts. She waved you inside and you crept in carefully, taking in the room that hadnât changed in years. âFind a place to stay?â
âYeah, thereâs a cot in the attic with my name on it.â
âA cot for a queen?â she questioned with a laugh.
âI was never a queen here,â you said, walking back towards the door.
âNo,â Leia said thoughtfully. âIf you see Poe, thank him for the room. It was very kind of him.â
âI will, but Iâm not sure Iâll see him before you,â you said, crinkling your eyebrows. Leia smiled and nodded her head.
âPerhaps not. But if you do, let him know.â
âI will. Sleep well. Iâll see you tomorrow,â you said, walking back out of the room.
âGoodnight.â
You found the ladder that led up to the attic down the hall. You gathered your skirt in your hands and took a step on the first rung carefully. You got six rungs up before you slipped. Just as you saw the flooring of the attic, you started to fall back down to the floor, only to have a strong hand wrap around your wrist, pulling you upright.
âYou okay?â You looked up into Poeâs dreamy eyes and smiled.
âYeah.â He slid his hand up a little and grasped yours as he pulled you up into the attic. You straightened your dress and looked around the room. The cot had been pulled out and covered with a blanket and pillow from the couch downstairs. âWhat are you doing up here?â you asked.
âI just wanted to make sure you found everything,â he said, running a hand through his hair.
âI donât think thereâs much to find,â you said, motioning to the cot.
âDid you check behind the boxes, though?â Poe asked, a mischievous smile on his face. You raised an eyebrow as you walked around the boxes to find the small fort of pillows and blankets that Poe had laid out for you.
You took in a breath and looked back at him. He took a step forward, wrapping his arm around your lower waist. You looked up into his eyes and tilted your chin just slightly. He laughed gently and leaned in, closing the gap between the two of you. He put a hand on your cheek as he deepened the kiss and pulled you in closer. You stood entwined for the next few minutes, slowly and passionately letting your mouths get reacquainted.
He pulled away, looking at you with a sexy smile on his face.
âI know we were going to find a bed,â he said, looking down at the fort of blankets he had made, âBut I did the best I could with the time.â You laughed and gave his hand a squeeze.
âItâs perfect. Iâm just not sure now is the right time,â you said. He frowned at you and let out a sigh. âI mean, everyone is in the houseââ
âAnd they wonât hear us,â he said, looking into your eyes. âYou have to go back to Serenno tomorrow. I donât know when weâll have a better chance.â You smiled gently and nodded your head, tilting your head to kiss him again. âItâs really comfy, too,â he said, pulling away a second later, smiling at you.
âWell, I guess Iâll have to check it out to see if I believe you,â you said, looking at him flirtatiously as you sat down carefully on the bed he had made on the floor. He laughed at you softly, smiling down at you as he sat down across from you.
âSo, what do you think?â he asked, leaning in closely.
âI think itâs great,â you said, touching his cheek as you pulled him in for a gentle kiss. The soft orange light of the room cast shadows on his face, highlighting some of your favorite features. The only light in the room was a lamp in the far corner, leaving the two of you in moody, romantic shadows.
âIâm glad youâre here. That weâre here together,â he said.
âMe too,â you said, kissing him again. He wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you in close. He kissed you delicately, but there was an urgency in his lips. He nipped at your lower lip as his hands played with the fabric cinching your waist. Your hands found their place on his broad frame, holding onto his shoulders as he pulled you in closer, right into his lap.
You laughed about the awkward position you found yourself in and looked into his eyes. They were dark, darker than they were normally. There was a fire in them, beckoning you forward. Just before you leaned in to kiss him again, giving yourself to him fully, you pulled away, looking at his eyes which were already shut. He opened them again and cocked his eyebrow just slightly.
âWhat?â he asked.
âIâve missed you. Missed this,â you said airily. He smiled out of the corner of his mouth, his perfect mouth, his perfect smile.
âDid you ever think about me?â he asked huskily.
âBaby,â you said, biting your lip, âThinking of you kept me up all night.â His tongue crossed beneath his bottom lip as the smile from before spread across his face.
âGod, come here,â he said, gripping your waist tighter. You laugh and found his lips again, your arms wrapping around his neck as you entwined. He leaned into you, making you relax onto your back, slowly backing up until you were on the pillows. He pulled away from you once you were laid down, making you whine.
âJust, hang on,â he said with a grin. You rolled your eyes, watching him eagerly as he threw his shirt across the room, giving you full view of his muscular chest and back, including the giant Force tree tattoo covering his back. Poe had a couple of tattoos. The biggest was the Force tree on his back. On his left forearm he had his parents named tattooed in small Aurebesh letters. On that same arm, on his bicep, he had the Galactic Republic logo. As he threw off his shirt, he flexed his arms beautifully.
âPoe,â you complained, making him laugh.
âIâm right here,â he said gently, crawling back towards you. He found your lips again, eagerly waiting for his as you again cupped his face. He pulled away before you would have liked, making you complain again. âHang on,â he said, his hands trailing down your body until they rested on your hips. You looked at him curiously as he gave you a mischievous look. He slowly started to pull up the fabric of your dress, until the skirt was gathered around your hips.
âWhat are you doing?â you asked as he thumbed at your underwear.
âJust want to make sure you have something to think about at night,â he said, pulling them off quickly. The draft of the attic sent goosebumps across your skin as Poe came back to you.
He made you spread your legs, giving him a perfect view of you. He smiled at you as he locked his fingers in yours, laying down on his stomach. He looked at you devilishly before his lips found the folds in between your legs. You let out a sigh as he slowly started to work his magic. He licked one stripe up your core, eliciting a loud moan from you.
âHey, they might hear us if youâre that loud,â he said, pulling away with a grin. You nodded your head and watched him as he went back to his work, his eyes never leaving yours. He was going to make you wait for it as his tongue started to dash around your clit. He knew what he was doing as he laughed delicately between your legs at the sounds you were trying and failing to keep in. He sucked on your clit for a few seconds, loving as you thrashed beneath him and whined his name.
âGod, Poe,â you moaned, your hips bucking slightly as you approached your end.
âI know, baby,â he said, pulling away from your warmth. You frowned at him, your hands still clenched in his. âBut Iâm not done with you yet.â
Before you could ask what he meant, he stuck a finger inside of you, dropping your hand at your hip. You moaned when he added another finger and started curling them in the way that absolutely drove you insane, and covered your mouth with your hand. His fingers were continuous, pumping into you as he brought his glorious lips back to your center. His thick eyelashes nearly shadowed his eyes as he went back to tongue fucking you, but never quite hid his dark eyes from yours.
âLook at me, Y/N,â he said when you started to close them. Your orgasm was coming soon, and it was hard to keep your eyes open. But watching Poe between your legs, his fingers so deep inside of you, and the sexy look in his eyes, you absolutely were not going to disobey him.
His moves were continuous, driving you crazy with each flick of his fingers, or touch of his lips. You squeezed his hand as the pleasure began to take hold of you. You could feel him smile in between your legs as he squeezed your hand back.
âOh my god, Poe,â you moaned, your legs twitching around him as you neared your end. His hand moved from yours, gripping your thigh to keep your legs spread as he continued to eat you out.
âThatâs right, baby. Say my name again,â he said, pulling away for a second to leave a few kisses on your inner thigh.
âYes, Poe,â you said breathlessly, smirking back at him. âPlease.â
âSay it,â he said, cocking an eyebrow at you.
âPoe, please.â His nose scrunched in a smile as he bit down on your thigh before going back in between your legs, licking and sucking and fingering you until you came with a loud cry. You completely forgot about staying quiet, and Poe quickly put a hand over your lips. You came down slowly, biting his palm to keep from crying out as he finished you off. He came back to your lips, smiling as he did so, and kissed you. You could taste yourself on his lips and it only made you kiss him longer.
âFuck,â you muttered, pulling away for air. He shrugged humbly, making you laugh. âIt wasnât always like that, was it?â you asked.
âWith you?â he asked with a gentle smile. âAlways.â You shook your head lovingly as you kissed him again. He started to kiss you deeper, but you pulled away. âWhat?â
âHang on,â you said, standing. He repositioned himself on the blankets, leaning up against the wall as he watched you. Locking eyes, you dropped the silky dress from your shoulders, letting it fall at your feet. Poeâs eyes shined hungrily as you walked back towards him.
âTake off your pants,â you instructed. He nodded and quickly did, tossing them over with his shirt. You giggled as you sat down in his lap, looking at him softly.
âHi,â he said, putting his hands on your waist. You could feel him hard beneath you.
âHi,â you said with a laugh.
âHave I ever told you how fantastic you are?â he asked, pulling you in close.
âOh, you havenât seen anything yet,â you whispered in his ear, keeping your body close to his. âAnd if anyone is fantastic, my love, itâs you.â He looked at you, his eyes warming at your words.
You smiled and repositioned yourself, letting him slide into you. You let out a gasp, making Poe beam. He let you get situated around him before gripping your waist. Your arms went around his shoulders, your fingers resting on the large tattoo covering his back. You started grinding into his body slowly, keeping your eyes locked on his as you did. He bit his lip, daring you to pick up your pace. You started going faster, still keeping your eyes locked as you moaned at the feeling of him inside of you, knowing that it was getting to him, too.
You clawed at his back as your body started to heat up, feeling him fill you up so fully. He planted a kiss to your lips every few thrusts, and as your hand trailed up to his curls and pulled gently, he let out a beautiful moan.
âFuck, Y/N,â he said, pulling you into his chest. He licked your neck and as you let out a gasp, bit down. Your breath got caught in your throat and with his lips on your neck, you forgot what you were doing. âCome on now, donât stop,â he whispered in your ear.
You nodded as you moaned, thrusting your hips back into his. He always loved the sounds you made, and this time was no different. He gripped your hips harder, taking over control as he felt you start to lose rhythm. His thrusts were much harder, much more deliberate as he bit your shoulder to keep from crying out with you. Every moan you made incited one from him. You had to keep quiet, knowing that there wasnât much keeping you from the people sleeping downstairs, but it was difficult to do with the way you were both feeling.
His hand gripped your waist impossibly tight as color rushed into his cheeks. His skin was hot against yours as he forced your movements, making sure to keep you doing exactly what he wanted you to do. He was nearing his end, holding onto any part of your body, squeezing tight as he let out a cry. He came inside of you, slowing his rhythm. You laughed once he had come down, watching his face react to the changing feelings.
âAlright, now you,â he said, quickly flipping you over. Your back landed on the blankets surrounding you, making you let out a gasp of air. Poeâs lips found yours again, leaving hot, passionate kisses as he slid back inside of you. Again, you gasped, his mouth trailing over your jaw as you did. He started pounding into you, not caring about going slow this time. You gasped and moaned and called out his name at each thrust, sending him into another wave of pleasure as you finished around him. You both cried out, holding onto each other for a few more minutes.
Once you were done, you both fell back onto the blankets, catching your breaths. Poeâs hand found yours before you even looked at each other. They laced at your hips, where he drew circles on your skin. You looked over at him, his hair in messy curls. He actually took your breath away.
âHi,â you said, making him laugh gently.
âHi, Y/N,â he said, moving in closer to you. He kissed your forehead, pushing back your own messy locks.
âThat wasââ you stopped, clearing your throat which was scratchy from gasping and crying out Poeâs name all night. âThat was amazing.â
âI know,â he said with a grin, pulling you into his chest. You hummed and kissed his chest, looking up at him. âWhat?â he asked with a laugh.
âNothing,â you said, shaking your head, âThereâs just so much to do.â
âThatâs what youâre thinking about now?â
âI canât help it,â you said with a gentle laugh and a shrug. âThis was a good distraction, though.â
âI could distract you some more, if youâd like,â he said with a smirk.
âPoe.â
âI know,â he said, putting his hand over yours on his chest.
âI need to know what happened on Naboo,â you said quietly.
âWhat, are you going to fly yourself out there?â he asked. It was a joke, but you recoiled a little. His smile dropped as he gripped your shoulder tighter. âI know you want to know, but we canât risk it now.â
âBut if we could save Naboo, they would be one of the greatest allies we could get,â you said, taking his hands pleadingly.
âI know, but thereâs nothing we can do right now.â You sighed. He pulled you into a strong hug and tenderly kissed your shoulder. You looked up at him, your fingers tracing over the scruff on his chin. He had the most beautiful pout on his lips. You were falling in love with him all over again.
You took his face in your hands, holding him carefully as you looked into his eyes. He smiled out of the corner of his mouth and leaned in to bring his lips to yours. He hummed as he deepened the kiss and his hand traveled down to your thigh. It was like he needed every part of your body on him, right now and always. He pulled away for air first, but never took his eyes off of you. You resettled in his arms, staring off at the pile of boxes blocking you from the entrance of the attic.
âIs this where you used to take your romantic conquests back in the day?â you asked, running your hand up and down his chest.
âYou know, I donât even remember what it was like to be with anyone but you.â
âPoe,â you said gently. He rolled you onto your back and looked at you lovingly, a small smile tugging at his gorgeous lips. He lowered himself to kiss you. You cupped his face and kissed him back, taking him in. The scruff of his cheeks, the brushing of his nose against yours, the gentle hums he made as he kept you guessing his next movement. Everything about him was perfect and you would have let him do anything in that moment until a sound made you pull away.
âWhat was that?â you asked, pushing him off as you heard a buzzing come from the opposite side of the room. Poeâs face was slightly smushed by your hand on his lips, but he still frowned at you.
âIgnore it,â he said, kissing your fingers and coming back to your lips.
âJust, hold on,â you said into his lips, pushing him up. He sighed and sat up straight, reaching for his pants. You grabbed your dress off the floor and quickly pulled it back on as you walked back to the entrance of the attic. On the floor was the commlink you had forgotten when you got into the attic. It was vibrating against the wooden floor, and not for the first time that night, your breath was taken away.
âWhat is it?â Poe asked, walking over towards you.
âNaboo.â

2019 Jaguar I-Pace Review: From London to Berlin in an All-Electric Jag
Jabbeke was the making of the Jaguar XK120. On May 30, 1949, a prototype of the iconic English sports car was timed at 132.6 mph along a closed section of freeway just outside this Belgian town.
Seven decades on, Jabbeke looks like the breaking of the Jaguar I-Paceâthe all-wheel-drive electric crossover thatâs as significant a Jaguar as the XK120. Weâre plugged into the third fast charger weâve found in the area, but energy is trickling into the battery. We arrived with 12 miles of range left. We could be here all night.
Why are we here? In the 1960s, Denis Jenkinson, the âcontinental correspondentâ for Britainâs Motor Sport magazineâand the man whoâd ridden alongside Stirling Moss en route to their victory in the 1955 Mille Migliaâdrove his E-type across Europe from grand prix to grand prix. A half century later weâre attempting to drive more than 700 miles from London in a different type of e-Jaguar to an e-prixâthe ninth round of the Formula E championship in Berlin. Itâs been five hours since we arrived in Jabbeke. The romance is wearing thin.
Weâve learned a lot in those five hours. Many of the smartphone apps designed to find fast chargers in Europe are inaccurate and hard to use. Thereâs no easy way to pay for a chargeâdifferent suppliers require credit or debit card information on different apps, and some only accept a prepaid card. And our pre-production I-Pace will only take a trickling 22 kW from the Efacec chargers in this part of Belgium. A software issue, apparently.
Jaguar technicians advise us to look for newer fast chargers. One of the apps shows an ABB 50-kW charger at an Audi dealer in Ghent. A call confirms itâs the right charger, that itâs working, and that weâre welcome to use it. But, weâre warned, the power shuts off at 6 p.m. It just turned 5 p.m. The dealership is 32 miles away. Weâve managed to get enough charge for 41 miles. Time to roll the dice.
With 9 miles of range remaining, we pull into NAM Zuid Audi in Ghent at 5:48 p.m., where service manager Johan de Vos offers to keep the power on for as long as we need it. We plug in, and the I-Pace starts sucking down precious kilowatts. An hour and 45 minutes later, the instrument panel shows the battery at 98 percent and range at 231 miles, near the 240-mile max claimed on Jaguarâs U.S. website. Weâre back on the road in the most revolutionary Jaguar in historyâone that could wrest the EV conversation away from Elon Muskâs Tesla Motors.
As BEV platforms go, the I-Paceâs skateboard layout is conventional. Thereâs a motor at each end, one driving the front wheels, the other the rear, and in between is a liquid-cooled 90-kW-hr battery pack with 432 lithium-ion cells that also provides structural integrity for the chassis. The Jaguar-developed motors are synchronous permanent magnet units with concentric transmissions that align the motors with the axles. Total output is 394 hp and 512 lb-ft.
The multilink front suspension is from the F-Type; at the rear is an evolution of the integral link suspension used in the F-Pace and E-Pace. Height-adjustable air suspension drops the ride height 1.6 inches for entry/exit and 0.4 inch at speeds above 65 mph to further reduce drag; it can raise it 2.0 inches for off-road work. A sealed battery allows it to wade through water almost 20 inches deep.
We cruise at 70â75 mph across the flatlands of Belgium and into Holland, battling blustery winds off the North Sea. The optimum setup for freeway cruising involves selecting Eco mode, which optimizes HVAC and other settings for maximum efficiency, and setting the regenerative braking mode to low, which helps maintain momentum when you lift off the accelerator. As we pull into our hotel in Eindhoven for the night, the trip computer shows the I-Paceâs energy consumption is averaging 41.8 kW-hr per 100 miles (80 mpg-equivalent).
Next morning, over the border in Germany, we find an ABB 50-kW charger that brings the battery back to 96 percent, giving us 221 miles of range. Thatâs more than enough to get us to a VW dealership in Hannover, 145 miles down the autobahn, where another ABB 50-kW charger should give us enough juice for the final stint into Berlin. With our charging strategy figured out and range in hand, thereâs time for some fun.
Much of Germanyâs autobahn is subject to speed limits, so we spend a lot of time at 75â80 mph. Thereâs not much wind today, but the higher speed boosts consumption to 43 kW-hr per 100 miles. On one derestricted stretch I wind the I-Pace up near its 124-mph Vmax. It gets there easily, but I burn 6 miles of range in the process (and yes, a gasoline version would also burn fuel with such a surge). Feeling guilty at the extravagance, I back off and settle down to 75â80 mph again.
Like most electric cars, the I-Pace doesnât have a relaxed highway gait. Even gentle cruising requires more pressure on the accelerator than youâd need with an internal combustion engine to keep it rolling along. As soon as you lift off, the Jag hungrily starts harvesting energy.
As we approach Hannover, we encounter the first of a number of traffic jams that will blight our run to Berlin. I turn off creep mode, which makes the I-Pace act like a car with a conventional automatic transmission, and switch the brake regen back to high. Configured this way, the I-Pace can be driven using one pedal; you use the brake only if you have to stop in a hurry. Itâs the optimum setup for city and urban driving, and it helps overall energy consumption. Stop-start shuffling and prolonged cruising at 50 to 60 mph saw the I-Pace use 28.9 kW-hr per 100 miles (117 mpg-e) for the final 50 miles to our Hannover stop.
We luxuriate in our first 100 percent charge and celebrate by heading onto a winding road. The I-Pace is fast and fluid, its instant-on torque delivering a creamy surge of acceleration. But it also feels heavy, and not just because of the big wheels and wide tires. Steering requires more effort than expected. Although the mass is low in the chassisâthe center of gravity is 5.1 inches lower than that of an F-Typeâthereâs a zaftig cadence to the I-Paceâs primary ride motions that is unlike any other Jaguar. As on the freeway, itâs best to have the brake regen switched to low; the I-Pace flows better down the road, and you can more precisely slow the car on corner entry.
Fun over, we pop back out onto the A2 autobahn. With an indicated 202 miles of range and 160 miles to go, it should be a piece of cake. Germany might have the fastest roads on earth, but the A2 isnât one of them, with long sections under repair and jammed with trucks heading to Poland and Russia. Four hours later, we pull into our hotelâs parking garage, not far from Berlinâs Brandenburg Gate, with 20 miles of range to spare. We arrive dog-tired but ache-freeâthe I-Paceâs seats are supportive and comfortable.
Itâs been an epic 734-mile road trip, a journey that at times had us feeling like the crew of Apollo 13, calculating energy use and contemplating points of no return. But this much we now know: The strikingly styled Jaguar I-Pace is the real deal, a genuine Tesla fighter. It feels plusher to live with and more organic to drive, and it fills the white space between the P75D versions of the Model S sedan and Model X SUV that are its nearest rivals. All it needs now is for the charging infrastructure to catch up.

Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy: The Tradition Continues
Jaguar has a long motorsport tradition, highlighted most famously by notable victories at Le Mans but also wins in other forms of sports car and touring car racing, as well as road rallies. It even had a Formula 1 team.
The Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy takes that tradition in a new direction. The eTrophy has been developed for a one-make race series that will support the 2019 FIA Formula E championship. It will be an arrive-and-drive series, with competitors paying about $530,000 to show up and race fully prepared and maintained cars. Bend it, and they mend itâhowever, the price doesnât include the cost of crash repairs.
The eTrophy cars are stripped-out and strengthened I-Paces. Removing most of the interior has reduced weight by 500 pounds despite the addition of a full roll cage that ties together the front structure and rear suspension. The suspension has been modified, using parts from the XE Project 8 sedan. The brakes have been replaced with AP Racing units with steel rotors and larger calipers.
The powertrain remains standard, as does the battery pack, but the control electronics developed by the engineering arm of the Williams F1 team are new. They will allow race engineers to tune brake regeneration and power and torque splits, plus pull power more aggressively from the battery.
The eTrophy rolls on 22-inch wheels fitted with treaded Michelin tires. As in Formula E, where the single-seat racers also use treaded tires, the French t from PerformanceJunk WP Feed 3 https://ift.tt/2LlOkUz via IFTTT

Daily News - Tuesday 8th March 2017
Right folks, our 040 news today takes us back to the Geneva Motorshow, letâs see what else the car companies have on the stages for our automotive enjoyment.
First up and looking amazing is a new name from an old favourite. Aston Martin has launched AMR â an exciting new brand that reflects Aston Martinâs racing pedigree. AMR takes technology and inspiration from motorsport to amplify the sporting prowess present across the Aston Martin range. With enhanced performance, sharper dynamics and more powerful design language, AMR takes Aston Martinâs road cars to new and exciting extremes.
Two AMR concepts have been unveiled in Geneva: The Rapide AMR and Vantage AMR Pro. The Rapide represents the lightest brush of AMR, the four-door sports car is treated to a tweaking of the engine, a fiddling with the chassis and an external and internal nip and tuck. The Rapide AMR has a rip-snorting 600PS version of the 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 breathing through a new quad exhaust system, it is the worldâs fastest four-door, capable of 210MPH, stick that in you Panamera pipe and smoke it. The AMRâs signature Stirling Green with vibrant lime green accents and aggressive body mouldings is a personal taste thing, I reckon youâll treat it like another British legend, Marmite, youâll either love it or hate it.
The Vantage AMR Pro is obviously influenced by Aston Martin Racingâs V8 Vantage GTE and has the whole AMR works thrown at it, an uncompromising demonstration of AMRâs âTrack to Tarmacâ philosophy whereby race technology is transferred to road cars. The Vantage AMR Pro is an extreme, track-only expression of performance and the ultimate iteration of the Vantage. Powered by a 507PS development of Aston Martin Racingâs GT4 race engine, the Vantage AMR Pro is the most powerful V8 Vantage ever. Once again painted in Stirling Green with lime green accents, the Vantage AMR Pro not only takes its colour scheme from Aston Martin Racingâs V8 Vantage GTE racer, but uses the same bonnet and rear wing as the World Endurance Championship winner.
Both the Vantage AMR Pro and Rapide AMR will be going into production: the Vantage in an extremely limited series of no more than 7 cars; the Rapide as a run of only 210 cars. In fact by the time you read this, they may well have already sold them allâŠ

And at the other end of the motoring world, Suzuki has unveiled itâs third generation Swift. Arriving in the UK from June the supermini as you would expect has a range of super efficient engines and all the latest on-board gadgetry, surprisingly it is only coming as a five door, at least initially. It has a permanently surprised look at the front as the headlights seem too far apart next to the cut off snout and Joker-esque grin of the front bumper. The back end still retains a familiar Swift look about it, with the thick C pillars gaining some black trim to give the now necessary floating roof effect. It has however been on a considerable diet, the new car tipping the scales at 890kg (SZ3 model) - 120kg lighter overall for the whole car than the previous Swift.
The Swift does have a smart trick up itâs sleeve though, the SHVS mild hybrid system is a compact and lightweight system that incorporates an Integrated Starter Generator (known as ISG) which acts as both a generator and starter motor, the ISG is belt driven and assists the engine during vehicle take off and acceleration and also generates electricity through regenerative braking. You can also get the Swift with Suzukiâs ALLGRIP âAUTOâ four-wheel drive system as an option on the SZ5 model with 1.2-litre engine. First introduced in the previous generation Swift in 2014 this is a well proven and simple fully automatic and permanent four-wheel drive layout which transfers additional torque to the rear wheels when required via a viscous coupling.
Hyundai have been busy little bunnies with all sorts of new stuffy littering their stage. First up the FE Fuel Cell concept gives an idea of the Hydrogen powered Next Generation fuel cell vehicle to be launched in 2018. The FE Fuel Cell Conceptâs flowing form is inspired by nature and water â the carâs only emission â with the clean and calm design emphasizing its non-polluting nature. Across the car, form follows function to deliver a minimalist style. Exemplifying this approach, the FE Concept features a dramatic and stylish rear air foil and integrated vents that provide aerodynamic efficiency through intelligent engineering. The new concept car is designed to run (not walk) 500 miles between refueling, acknowledging the current limited hydrogen infrastructure. Elements of the FE Fuel Cell Concept will influence an SUV Fuel Cell model set for launch in 2018, which will feature advanced âHyundai Smart Senseâ driver assistance technologies, alongside an extensive hydrogen-powered range
More in the here and now is the newest i30 Tourer adding versatility in the existing model range. The i30 Tourerâs sleek design does not compromise boot space: with 602 litres of space and 1,650 litres with the seats folded, it has one of the biggest boots in the segment, not counting the additional storage space beneath the boot floor with several compartments. It comes with all the spec that we have known to expect from Hyundai by now.
Combining the best of both worlds: the IONIQ Plug-in Hybrid joins the Hyundai line-up this summer. The IONIQ Plug-in Hybrid combines the new 1.6 GDI four-cylinder direct-injection petrol engine with a 45 kW (61 PS) electric motor powered by a 8.9 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery to enable an electric driving range up to 40 miles (63 km) while reducing CO2 emissions to 26 g/km* and fuel consumption to 1.1 l/100 km* (NEDC combined cycle).
Ć KODA have turned up to the show with a couple of new shiny playthings, but for today we will look at new Octavia vRS 245. For a long time, the poor manâs VW Golf, the flagship vRS will put that thought finally to rest. This is now the Golf for people who need a bit more leg room, a Golf Limousine if you will, but donât want to go up a class to the Passat, or go higher into the SV or Touran. The vRS has all the VAG underpinnings including electronically regulated VAQ limited-slip differential and a fettled 2.0 TSI petrol engine under its bonnet, pushing out 245bhp (180-kW) through a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed, dual-clutch transmission.
The 245 has been dropped 15mm from the standard Octavia and rides around on burnished gloss-black 19 inch alloys. The new front end has a wider radiator grille and acres of black honeycomb surrounded in gloss-black trim. There are adaptive LED lighting setups for the front and the fog lights, tail lights and number plate illumination also feature LED technology. The sports exhaust lets one of your other senses know this is not a regular Octavia thanks to the slightly snortier sound, itâs not a full on Barry White rumble, but itâs definitely a Tom Jones. Inside the Octavia is kitted out with leather sports seats and a multifunction sports leather steering wheel with perforated leather and integrated steering wheel paddles (for DSG transmissions). There are some who would say Golf GTi beater, I wouldnât go that far, but now an equal? Maybe, just maybeâŠ
Plenty more to come tomorrow, DS have some new stuff being unveiled and Iâll give you my thoughts on Hybrid AMG Mercedes that isnât an F1 car and Audiâs RS5.
