If Tommy, Evan and Sal were trapped in an elevator together, what would happen?

I think Tommy would immediately try to assure Evan that they would be okay but I also think he and Evan would immediately spring into first responder mode and try to get out. sal would probably be the one who is like a little quiet while figuring out a way to get out of here while Tommy and Evan try to pry the door open. also bonus points if sal doesn't like small spaces

Tommy and Evan are totally romantically compatible. But let's be real, Tommy and Eddie would be drift compatible and would kick ass piloting a jaeger together. They have the shared miltary experience even if they don't have shared memories. They'd match in their solider's instincts. And if Eddie ever got caught chasing the rabbit and got held up in a memory, Tommy would be so grounding.

☮ - friendship headcanon - Tommy & Eddie

i love so much about their friendship.

starting with the fact that the two of them connected without buck acting as some kind of buffer. they have a lot in common so a friendship formed very organically, and i really loved seeing how happy they both were in 7x04.

eddie deserves strong friendships outside of buck and the 118, furthermore a male friend, so it's really great that he now has tommy in his life who he can hang out with doing all kinds of cool stuff and casual stuff and also tommy understands the life and knows the people in eddie's life. eddie was so damn happy in 7x04 and i really hope their friendship carries through season 8.

as for tommy: i love the growth of his character and how he's gone from living rather closed off in his 118 days to being the guy who has friends and connections and a rich social life and makes new friends easily. i think he's just as thrilled about this friendship as eddie is, and part of the reason they became such fast friends is because 1) they get along really well, but 2) they have so much in common - because tommy has friends but he doesn't know anyone with whom so many of his interests overlap.

i think eddie is going to have a tough time adjusting to chris being in texas, and i think there's a possibility of chris keeping in touch with buck more than eddie which will sting - even though he's glad chris has buck - so there'll be this ebb and flow of either trying to pry information from buck or not wanting to be around him to be reminded of his failures. and that's where tommy will come in, because tommy may be dating buck but he's still eddie's friend and he doesn't have the weight of their history together, plus tommy just knows how to get eddie out of his own head, so he really appreciates hanging out with him whether it be muay thai sessions or catching a game or even tommy introducing him to some of his other friends and contacts he thinks eddie might hit it off with.

tommy wouldn't bullshit him about anything but he also wouldn't push eddie to talk about it. i think their dynamic has a big brother vibe to it (tommy for eddie) in the way tommy is there for him without needing to be asked, and coaxing eddie out of his house on a bad day, and being there with some words of advice or just a friendly ear but also a reality check.

and tommy cares about eddie. he was excited about their budding friendship before he started dating evan, but even so, he wants to keep being friends for the longterm. and his friend is going through a tough time so of course he's there for him, and he doesn't feel like he got the short end of the stick - and tells eddie as much - and just reminds him that he's not alone in this and that it won't be forever.

i just really hope we see more of their friendship in season 8 and how they navigate eddie's Stuff, but also how they both have a positive impact on each other's lives.

Well, you could do either or both.

My OG Cobra Jimmy/OC wip Is This Love? takes place over several decades. But the majority of that fic, whether it is currently written or not, takes place primarily in the 1990s and even spans into the early 2000s. I incorporated information from Cobra Kai and even wrote a ficlet around Robby's birth, so it made sense for me to tag both the movies and the show.

It helps to think about the characters you will utilize in the story. Are they in both the movies and the show? Would it make sense timeline-wise to tag one or the other fandoms? And think about your audience/readers. How wide a net do you want to cast?

“Evan didn’t tell you?”

Bobby shook his head.  “He just said that you guys had broken up, not exactly how you had broken up.”

Tommy blinked.  Evan told Bobby damn near everything. 

“Why—”

“He never came to me for advice about you, did you know that?  You’re the first that we never needed to talk about.  I told him that you are good people Tommy, and I still believe that.”  Bobby took another sip of his coffee.

Tommy tried to swallow around the rock he could feel in his throat.  

“Your captain told me that you’ve been taking any extra shift that you can.  He’s worried about you.  Says everyone is… It sounds like you’ve been doing about as good as Buck has been.” Bobby  chuckled but there was no humor in it.  “You haven’t taken up baking in your free time by any chance have you?”

What?

“Uh no… I haven’t.” Tommy said finally getting some words out.  

“That’s good, I don’t think the department can handle anymore baked goods.”  Bobby took another sip and Tommy just blinked at him.

I just wanted to come here and say how grateful I am for every one of you in the 911 fandom. You’re all so incredible and have made 2024 such an amazing year.

My blog grew soo much this year and I am forever grateful for everyone who has interacted with me.

Bucktommy happened and wow the fandom and community we have created is so supportive and kind and uplifting. You all never fail to spread joy. From all of the positivity projects and all of the love and support in the form of comments and kudos and reblogs, I love you all so much.

There have been several positivity projects this year which have been amazing. I love when fandom comes together to do amazing and beautiful things.

2024 wasn’t all perfect, there was hate mail and fic stealing and other stuff I don’t want to get into but i think it just made us all come together stronger to uplift each other and I am so forever grateful for that.

2024 brought me closer to so many people. It gave me @diazsdimples who is the sweetest guy who I’m so incredibly grateful to know, and who I get to actually go see in person next week 🥰

In my own “real” life I start medical school this year which is such and honor and privilege that I didn’t expect and I’m so excited for the journey to come. This year was tough finishing my degree and coping with pains but I can’t believe it but I’ve made it here now. I hope to continue writing in my free time (ha what free time) and I hope this fandom continues to bloom and thrive. This year I posted 13 911 fics on ao3 and a bunch of ficlets on tumblr and which for me is amazing. I also have heaps of wips still unpublished. My first ever 911 fic breached 20k hits which is insane - especially because it’s a hurt no comfort 🫣.

An insane and slightly concerning fact is that I have read over 40 million words of fanfic this year (just beating last year of 37mil) which is… um… lots. Sadly next year it’s likely I won’t have the time to read as much but you bet I’ll try 😅 fanfic is a safe space and home for me. I am so grateful for everyone who posts amazing works for free. We are all so lucky 💜

I’m excited for 911 to be back in March and can’t wait to see where they head their storylines 💜 thank you all for making 2024 amazing and here’s to 2025 which I hope will be even better 💜

“Behave.” He scolds with no heat behind it.

“Mhm, yessir.” Buck purrs, his lips moving across Tommy’s bare shoulder. 

“Fuck.” Tommy breathes out and completely stills, and Buck can’t really see his face but he knows his boyfriend closed his eyes and is trying to calm down – which can’t be easy with Buck still plastered against his back. ���This food is gonna burn if you keep this up. And we have guests to feed.” He adds, and as if to make a point, he flips a slightly overdone burger, Buck hindering his movements just a little bit.

Before he can respond, he hears another voice get through the chatter and music and reach his ears.

“Buck!” Chimney calls, and Buck looks over his shoulder to find everyone’s eyes on him, amused expressions on their faces. “Don’t distract our cook, we’re starving!”

“I’m just scolding him for taking his shirt off.” Buck says easily, then adds a little louder, to Tommy but making sure everyone hears, “Babe, you’re gonna burn yourself, you’re a firefighter, you should know better.” He shakes his head, and Tommy looks back at him with a raised eyebrow.

“Oh, you’re gonna pretend like you don’t approve?”

“Oh, I so don’t, Tommy, at all.” Buck tries to keep a straight face, but a chuckle bubbles out of him anyway. “You’re such a distraction, this is dangerous for everyone here.”

“I think you’re the only one with that problem, Buckaroo.” Hen laughs, and only then Buck remembers everyone’s still paying attention to them. It’s so easy to get lost in Tommy, to feel like it’s just them, even in a crowd of people. So distracting. It’s a hazard, really. He should keep Tommy away from everyone, preferably locked in the bedroom with him, for everyone’s safety.

AITA for breaking up with my partner and then calling him to say I miss you 2 hours after

TL;DR: I was a cute guys bisexual awakening, we dated for 6 months and I broke his heart to save my own broken heart later and now I miss him

I (39M) recently broke up with my partner E (33M) after 6 months of dating. We met at work and I was intrigued by him from the start. A few weeks after we met he called and asked for a tour of my job (we both work the same job just different locations). I agreed to give him a tour because I thought he was hot and I wanted to get to know him better. He offered to buy me a beer but I forgot I was supposed to go to a fight with a mutual friend D (32M) so I had to leave right after our tour.

We didn’t talk anymore after I left with D until we played basketball and E and another friend showed up. E got jealous and hit D and injured him. I took D to get looked and then after I got him squared away at home I went to E’s place to apologize where we talked and we kissed for the first time. I had to leave almost immediately after to go to work but we texted a few times.

We decided we’d do dinner and a movie for our first date and it was going well until D and his girlfriend interrupted our date and E panicked at being forced out and I decided it was time to end things for the night. I paid for dinner and left and thought that was it until he called me and asked if we could meet up again.

During the 5 days we didn’t speak he was all I could think about. I agreed to meet E for coffee after work and when I got there he told me he’d had conversations with his older sister M (44F) and D about us. He wanted a second chance and when I agreed he asked me to be his date to his sisters wedding.

We went to a failed bachelor party, I had to leave early for a work thing but while I was gone the groom went missing. He was found and the wedding went off without much more of a hitch and I got to the wedding late but E and I made out in the middle of the hospital before we joined the party.

We had a good time all summer and early this fall. We spent almost every mutual day off together and it was great. Sure we bickered occasionally but nothing really major.

At our anniversary dinner I mentioned I was engaged and that was that. A couple days after we realized we had a mutual ex and E asked me to move in with him. And I spiraled and broke up with him.

I went home and a couple hours later called him to say I missed him. His best friend answered and I could hear E in the background crying.

Update: It’s been a year since I posted this but here’s an update for anyone curious. E and I are back together!! I just flew him to Vegas and we got married by a guy in a really bad Elvis costume.
