If Tommy, Evan and Sal were trapped in an elevator together, what would happen?

I think Tommy would immediately try to assure Evan that they would be okay but I also think he and Evan would immediately spring into first responder mode and try to get out. sal would probably be the one who is like a little quiet while figuring out a way to get out of here while Tommy and Evan try to pry the door open. also bonus points if sal doesn't like small spaces

Tommy and Evan are totally romantically compatible. But let's be real, Tommy and Eddie would be drift compatible and would kick ass piloting a jaeger together. They have the shared miltary experience even if they don't have shared memories. They'd match in their solider's instincts. And if Eddie ever got caught chasing the rabbit and got held up in a memory, Tommy would be so grounding.

☮ - friendship headcanon - Tommy & Eddie

i love so much about their friendship.

starting with the fact that the two of them connected without buck acting as some kind of buffer. they have a lot in common so a friendship formed very organically, and i really loved seeing how happy they both were in 7x04.

eddie deserves strong friendships outside of buck and the 118, furthermore a male friend, so it's really great that he now has tommy in his life who he can hang out with doing all kinds of cool stuff and casual stuff and also tommy understands the life and knows the people in eddie's life. eddie was so damn happy in 7x04 and i really hope their friendship carries through season 8.

as for tommy: i love the growth of his character and how he's gone from living rather closed off in his 118 days to being the guy who has friends and connections and a rich social life and makes new friends easily. i think he's just as thrilled about this friendship as eddie is, and part of the reason they became such fast friends is because 1) they get along really well, but 2) they have so much in common - because tommy has friends but he doesn't know anyone with whom so many of his interests overlap.

i think eddie is going to have a tough time adjusting to chris being in texas, and i think there's a possibility of chris keeping in touch with buck more than eddie which will sting - even though he's glad chris has buck - so there'll be this ebb and flow of either trying to pry information from buck or not wanting to be around him to be reminded of his failures. and that's where tommy will come in, because tommy may be dating buck but he's still eddie's friend and he doesn't have the weight of their history together, plus tommy just knows how to get eddie out of his own head, so he really appreciates hanging out with him whether it be muay thai sessions or catching a game or even tommy introducing him to some of his other friends and contacts he thinks eddie might hit it off with.

tommy wouldn't bullshit him about anything but he also wouldn't push eddie to talk about it. i think their dynamic has a big brother vibe to it (tommy for eddie) in the way tommy is there for him without needing to be asked, and coaxing eddie out of his house on a bad day, and being there with some words of advice or just a friendly ear but also a reality check.

and tommy cares about eddie. he was excited about their budding friendship before he started dating evan, but even so, he wants to keep being friends for the longterm. and his friend is going through a tough time so of course he's there for him, and he doesn't feel like he got the short end of the stick - and tells eddie as much - and just reminds him that he's not alone in this and that it won't be forever.

i just really hope we see more of their friendship in season 8 and how they navigate eddie's Stuff, but also how they both have a positive impact on each other's lives.

“Wait, hold on,” Buck interjects. “You two are both paramedics, and you didn’t feel the need to tell each other your life-threatening allergies?” 

Hen and Chimney open their mouths as if to say something but then close them. 

Eddie points at Chimney. “Anything we need to know about you?”

Before he can answer, Captain Gerrard comes over the radio. “Alright, that’s enough yapping. We’re nearly there.”

“Behave.” He scolds with no heat behind it.

“Mhm, yessir.” Buck purrs, his lips moving across Tommy’s bare shoulder. 

“Fuck.” Tommy breathes out and completely stills, and Buck can’t really see his face but he knows his boyfriend closed his eyes and is trying to calm down – which can’t be easy with Buck still plastered against his back. “This food is gonna burn if you keep this up. And we have guests to feed.” He adds, and as if to make a point, he flips a slightly overdone burger, Buck hindering his movements just a little bit.

Before he can respond, he hears another voice get through the chatter and music and reach his ears.

“Buck!” Chimney calls, and Buck looks over his shoulder to find everyone’s eyes on him, amused expressions on their faces. “Don’t distract our cook, we’re starving!”

“I’m just scolding him for taking his shirt off.” Buck says easily, then adds a little louder, to Tommy but making sure everyone hears, “Babe, you’re gonna burn yourself, you’re a firefighter, you should know better.” He shakes his head, and Tommy looks back at him with a raised eyebrow.

“Oh, you’re gonna pretend like you don’t approve?”

“Oh, I so don’t, Tommy, at all.” Buck tries to keep a straight face, but a chuckle bubbles out of him anyway. “You’re such a distraction, this is dangerous for everyone here.”

“I think you’re the only one with that problem, Buckaroo.” Hen laughs, and only then Buck remembers everyone’s still paying attention to them. It’s so easy to get lost in Tommy, to feel like it’s just them, even in a crowd of people. So distracting. It’s a hazard, really. He should keep Tommy away from everyone, preferably locked in the bedroom with him, for everyone’s safety.

Motivational Monday!

(I know this isn’t a thing but like I can finally write so I want to share this with you guys. Thank @whatisreggieshortfor for helping me!💜) My new fic “like it turned up when you’re blowing up my phone”

Tommy’s halfway asleep when he hears it. Thunder. He thanks the heavens above that Evan is sound asleep right beside him, because the anxiety that seems to seem into Evan’s bones when he’s anxious about the rain always seems to make Tommy sick to his stomach.

And it seems judging by the half whispered whimpered that Evan lets out as he turns to tuck himself into Tommy’s side, even asleep he’s not immune.

“Shh,” Tommy whispers, rubbing his hand through Evan’s sleep matted curls. “Shh baby, come here, it’s okay. I’ve got you sweetheart, it can’t hurt you. You’re okay.”

Seven Sentence Sunday 🦵

Ah I haven’t shared fic in a hot minute — but I finished the first chapter of my Buck and Tommy meet at physio after the truck bombing fic (inspired by @bucked-it-up’s post)! I’m very excited and I want to post it but I know I should write some more chapters before I upload :( anyway here’s a little snippet of Buck and Tommy texting in chapter 2 - Buck is an oblivious boy who’s flirting without realising as normal:

Ever since they climbed Everest Buck’s staircase, Buck had been texting Tommy constantly. Look, it wasn’t like he had anything better to do — he was off work, and barely left the loft. It was nice having someone outside of firefighting too, someone who knew him just as him, if that makes any sense.

Tommy didn’t seem to mind, in fact he seemed to actually enjoy Buck’s spam of random messages, giving him back a witty reply or two on occasion that had Buck rolling his eyes but smiling.

Buck: What’s your star sign?

Tommy: Aquarius… don’t tell me you believe in that stuff

Buck: It’s fun!

I’m a Leo by the way.

Tommy: So what’s my fortune, oh wise one?

Buck: 🙄

You’re gonna get hit by a bus

Tommy: What the fuck

Buck: HAHAH sorry

It says that you’re going to meet an incredibly handsome man with a broken leg that owes you a beer

Tommy: Damn, I hope that happens soon…

wip wednesday ⛈

Tommy is still laying in bed, curling up in the warm spot that Evan left behind and dozing lightly when Evan lets out one of the most heartbreaking cries Tommy has ever heard.

He launches himself upwards, scrambling across the bed as he gets tangled in the blankets and sheets and falls face first off the bed, banging his knee hard against the floor in the process.   Danny starts yipping at him excitedly thinking it’s time to play and sniffing at his head as he struggles to detangle himself and stand up.

He lets out a curse and just pulls the sheet with him, wrapped around him like a toga as he crashes into the doorframe of the ensuite bathroom.  

Evan looks up at him eyes wide and watery, he’s wearing one of Tommy’s shirts and is sitting on the closed toilet lid with his hand curled around something but he looks otherwise unharmed.

“Evan?”

“It… it broke.” Evan sniffed.  

“What broke, baby?” Tommy asks breathlessly, his heart racing.  They could fix it— whatever it was.  Anything to wipe the look of utter devastation off Evan’s face.
