I’ve been working on abstract characters for literally months. I say hours and hours@but those hours are stretched over a few months. Finally had an epiphany last night and knew what inward going to paint complete with how I would paint the eye, nose, lips. I picked out themes and names to@go with the characters no th is is the first one. Meet “Shirl withPearls”. She loves pearls, tea and red wine. She is an old fashioned kind of girl. I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT MEAN SHIT SUMBITCH! I thought Chase Andrews was going to be the one. He cared for me and loved me. He made me feel special after I was hurting after Tate left.  Oh boy, was I wrong. I should’ve never let him in. Everybody always leaves me. I have never done anything wrong to anyone. Why am I always the one left behind? Why can’t people just stay for once? How could he talk to me about marriage and go off marrying GirlWithPearls? I knew I could never meet the standards of a Barkley Cove woman. I knew that most men go from one female to the next, just like male fireflies do. Him leaving me wasn’t the thing that hurt most. It was what he did after. Yesterday changed my life forever. I could still feel the bruise on my wrist as he tried to yank me towards him. I tried to pull away but his brawny figure was no match with my petite body.  I could feel his hard grip on me with both hands, hurting my shoulders as he pulled me towards him and forced his mouth upon mine. With all my might I pushed him back, but instead, he punched me right in the face with his right fist. He was going to rape me and I wouldn’t let that happen. I was able to elbow him in the jaw and escape. I let all my anger out on him as I kept kicking him while tears flowed down my face. I ran back to my motorboat and rushed back to the hideout where I know he won’t find me. I didn’t care about the other boats that saw me leave. Chase Andrews tried to rape me. He’s going to regret that later.
