He can feel the way he’s dismantled so many of the barriers between them through the telling of this story, there’s….an understanding between them. An honesty. He’s wondering what might happen if he were to flirt with her now, if she’d continue to sidestep the attention or if she’d entertain it or even flirt back. He’s wondering what he’d prefer when the sound of the bell downstairs makes them both jump.

I have A NEW OC ASK for you lol (you're the only person I can think of right off the bat who talks OCs so I'm renting out your ask box). Do you ship any of your OCs with anyone else's OCs? Is there anything about OCs in general that you don't like? Do you create OCs with a specific intention for them, or do they kind of just manifest & you end up with a bank of them & eventually find a universe/plot for them? I've got 88 characters left so I'm sending a part 2 see you in a bit :P

I used to ship my characters more when I still did RP, possibly because it was easier for me to get to know other people’s characters on dedicated RP sites. I’m down for shipping though (if anyone’s so inclined: hello), and these days I kinda ship Ririka with @maybeimawhale’s Kizen – and it’s a hard “kinda” since it’s a weird relationship. Not in a bad way or anything, but it’s weird.

Nothing much that I can think of, other than making content can be hard sometimes (lol)? And writing out asks/headcanons/etc is sometimes hard for me because putting ideas into something readable is hard.

It depends? If it’s non-fandom, I often just make them outside of a solid setting and figure that out as I go. The thing with that is they’re kinda just floating around out there and sometimes I can’t figure out environment-specific things, like what they do for a living. Ex: Ririka has had a million jobs bc of all the places I stuck her in. When I made Grey (FO4) I figured out a lot about her character before I played the game, and it actually worked out. When I made Kitty (ME:A) I had a few loose ideas and figured the rest out as I actually played. All-in-all, I think I’m all over the place when it comes to making characters.

The Mummy was an AWAKENING. Oded Fehr (STILL GORGEOUS jfc look him up! take a napkin to wipe your mouth when you do!). Rachel Weisz (the woman who did my hair and make up for my wedding asked if I had any goals as far as look and I told her “Jessica Biel’s makeup at the end of The Illusionist and any possible way you can make me look like Rachel Weisz”). Patricia Velásquez confused young pseu in allllllllllll kinds of ways, until slightly older pseu figured it out.  (*ﾟ∇ﾟ*)

5. Preity Zinta

Kal Ho Naa Ho was the first Bollywood movie I got to see, and wow. Wow. Of course SRK and Saif Ali Khan gave me heart eyes, too, but I was MESMERIZED by Preity! I loved her shape, I loved how her character’s suffering wasn’t made lovely-- she’s not always nice, she doesn’t always know what to do, and as an actress she made me believe it so, so hard. Midway through watching, I whispered to my friend “I want to find more of her movies!”. I have all kinds of feelings about KHNH in general, but it introduced me to and made me crush HARD on Preity. I still get butterflies thinking about her.   （˶′◡‵˶）

Currently Watching: Technically I'm currently rewatching American Gods but I stopped a while ago and haven't picked it back up (It's fine I've already finished it previously, the second season is just a bit harder to get through for me). I also have Siuil a Run: The Girl from the Other Side on the docket for my next "to watch" thing.

Sweet/Savory/Spicy?: Sweet and savory. I am a wimp baby child when it comes to spice. I'm better than I used to be about it though.

Current Obsession: I managed to get myself re-obsessed with Final Fantasy XIV a few months ago after taking a bit of a hiatus. We see how well that's going lol. I've never unsubbed since I started tho so it's been there for the past several years now.

Wellesley: In AU context, since I don't think soldiering is that popular anymore, I think he would still work for the government. Maybe part of the parliament or foreign service. If he's dead though, and a vampire, and can choose to do whatever he wants, he might try going back to that musical side of him he had long buried. probably own a youtube cover channel with 10 subscribers

Alex: I'd like to equate being the heir of an empire to being the heir of his family's company. He'd be forced into the slimy industry because he had gotten himself too involved already. If he can choose he'd live in a cabin near a river with a farm to write, study plants and posts aesthetics and poetry on instagram or something.

An OC ask for you ;) Who was your first OC (like ever, so from childhood is fair game or like your most complex/thorough OC that would say is the most developed), and then: what kind of OC types/character archetypes do you tend to gravitate towards? Any reason why? Do you have any 100% original, non-player character OCs for anything? Would you consider shifting or borrowing a game OC to an original work?

My first (notable) character was a girl named Gwendolene – I was reading Charmed Life at the time and there was a witch named Gwendolen and I liked the name but I didn’t just wanna copy it so I added an “e” to the end lol. She’s a gothy bookish type, and I’m pretty sure I just threw a lot of what I liked in other characters at the time into her without thinking much about it. I mostly drew her so her personality was pretty generic and she frowned all the time. I was 11, so…yeah.

I really like tsundere types and characters who struggle with their emotions. I sometimes joke with an oversimplified “I like mean women” statement but I think I like their assertiveness? It was way worse when I was younger but I’m still fairly shy so I admire that. Ex: mash-up chart

Ririka is actually 100% original but I put her everywhere I can manage, and I think her being always original helped enable me, as she isn’t really tied to a setting etc. I have more plain old original characters than fandom characters, but I don’t always make art of them? I have some boards on pinterest for a few of those characters too.

I definitely would, and I think Kitty and Grey especially could be moved out of their universes into another game or something original. Probably Kitty more than Grey, since I thought a lot about Grey’s situation and the setting a lot so Fallout/the old time period is closely linked for me.
