What do you think about Higgs's and Cliff's height difference? 😋 I think it's kinda funny (and hot) that Higgs is taller. Though Cliff is stronger...
NO THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THEM, I’m a sucker for dynamics where the shorter character can put the taller character in their place, ouggh. Giraffe vs lion.

Giraffe Girumble - Round 1 - C
Propaganda below (May contain spoilers!)
Miyoshi Kazunari propaganda:
I don’t know how to explain this in a cohesive way that doesn’t sound like I’m insane but this silly little actor visual novel has a canon furry event. All of the characters have canon fursonas. Okay, let me explain. Every year, the April fool’s event involves an AU, just for fun. Other years have included a host club, magic school, time travel, a fighting game, etc. This one was an AU where all the characters were animals, and it was by far the most extensive, given that it had its own full-blown event as opposed to a single card and side story like in the past. I couldn’t tell you if Kazunari counts given the submission rules and A3!’s circumstances, but it would be cool if he got in as A3! is generally a smaller franchise.
Circle of Life Giraffes propaganda:
Greatest ever giraffe moment in cinema. Fight me.

A young lion male along with his brother attempted to stalk an entire Cape buffalo herd, with the expected results. Well, a hunter must learn somehow their limitations.
Male lions are heavier than females, 190 vs 130kg. Their additional brawn is essential to killing large prey like buffalo, giraffe, or even elephants in some specialist prides. Until they are old enough to claim a pride, however, males will live a nomadic lifestyle. Often brothers will remain together to increase their chances of taking control of a territory and the females within it.

Archibald vs Nahyuta would be so funny because Archie takes 0 shit from anyone. Doesn’t matter who they are, if you insult him he’ll insult you back.
Nahyuta: I believe when you are reborn it will be as a giraffe that gets mauled by lions early in its life.
Archie: stop fucking proselytizing in court, vat are you, an evangelical?
Nahyuta: …pardon?

NORMAL CATS BRACKET ROUND 5: COW CAT VS BIRD CAT
COW CAT/GIRAFFE CAT/LION CAT
tied for the most cat combos in the game. weirdly fast cooldown. one of two reasons (other is ninja) that eoc treasure grinding doesn't kill you.
BIRD CAT/UFO CAT/THE FLYING CAT
probably the most forgettable normal cat. has very rare usage. those lasers ain't destroying much.

March Madness Finalists: Brachiosaurus vs Allosaurus!
Welcome to the March Madness Finals! We are down to our Top 4: Stegosaurus vs Ceratosaurus and Brachiosaurus vs Allosaurus! All four are from the Late Jurassic of Western North America. They are found in the Morrison Formation of Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.
Almost all are found in the contemporaneous Portuguese Louriña Formation of Portugal.
Let's check put the last two competitors: Brachiosaurus vs Allosaurus
BRACHIOSAURUS
The sheer size of this dinosaur makes it a difficult animal to take down. At 59ft tall, 72ft long and weighing 34 tons, this sauropod was practically a terrestral whale. However, in a time where most of the terrestrial fauna was as big as you, size could only get you so far. After all, the predators were built to eat you. So how did thia titanic animal protect itself? It make have used its muscular tail to deter predators. This wasn't quite as effective as its diplodocid cousins though.
It did have an impressive thumb claw on each foot. Like giraffes, it couls have packed a powerful and deadly punch with its feet.
ALLOSAURUS
This dinosaur was built to kill and eat sauropods. Now, admittedly, he couldn't do it alone. Allo needs a pack but that makes him all the more dangerous. He was not built like the bulkier Ceratosaurus. He opted for stronger neck and more flexible jaws. In fact, Allosaurus has the widest bite of any theropod. He could hyperextend his mouth juat like a snake.
He used this to help take big bites out his much larger prey. Like lions, Allosaurus would leap I onto a sauropod, using his front claws to hook in and hold on. Then he would take a massive bite out of its hide to weaken the animal.
Terrifying right? And on top of all that, he was fast and agile, reaching speeds on 34 mph, outmaneuvering any sauropod. So, who do you think would win this battle? Titanic Brachiosaurus? Or Speedy Gonzalez Allosaurus? Comment below!

saw mufasa. it’s… better than i than i thought it would be? but to say it’s not completely terrible isn’t that much of a compliment imo?
things i liked:
-if nothing else, pumbaa and timon retelling the story that they were the ones to defeat and eat scar and call simba a pathological liar was a great start for the movie, especially as the whole correction was animated. genuinely funny!
-that the songs were sung with more enthusiasm than the sleepwalking songs of the remake. the songs were kinda bland but it was nice that the singers gave emotions to it instead of a lifeless snoozefest. so the songs were okay but not spectacular.
-the amount of times taka/scar stuck his claws in mufasa’s paws, before grabbing him up by the scruff of the neck and saving him. it looked painful but like. i did actually like the foreshadowing of their future final conflict for the og movie.
-probably a good thing that scar and mufasa quickly left scar’s pride to create a pride of their own. so i can’t joke about white lotus mufasa anymore.
-ykw, taka’s dad doing fuck all and then went to taka, you gotta learn to be deceptive, son, and the fact that he hated mufasa was something i didn’t expect.
things i disliked:
-too much pumbaa/kiara/timon/rafiki focus. god, the amount of times the backstory got put on pause just so pumbaa could try and guess who taka was… hated it. once, twice, fine, but this felt like it happened ten-fifteen times. you could have cut it! it was unnecessary imo.
-in general, not a fan of kiara’s characterisation!
-it really felt like these were different characters to the og. taka was hopeless and cowardly, zazu felt completely different. like at no point did i think taka would gain wit and intelligence in the future tbh, like he’s renowned for.
-sorry mads mikkelsen. not even you can make “bye bye” as part of the villain song threatening.
-mufasa has superpowers now??? incredibly refined super senses??? i like ridiculousness but come on!!! and he’s better than all the female hunters except when he’s not????
-mufasa and taka’s meeting was so contrived and artificial. really gave me kovu/kiara nostalgia except there i bought the instant bonding. this just felt… really forced. their final scene was bad too tbh, to rename taka and have it be scar’s idea… look, it was never going to come across as natural but it still was a choice they made.
-the white lion pride… the outsiders… yeah i knew that they couldn’t hold a candle to zira, her madness and how she wanted to utilise her children as pawns for her revenge, but wow, they really couldn’t! the pride vs pride battlefield made sense in lion king 2. absolutely cannot say the same for mufasa!! when the giraffes agreed to fight alongside mufasa, rafiki, and sarabi… i just… no.
-should have guessed that there would be a mufasa/sarabi/taka love triangle. it’s… kinda cute? taka in love is kinda adorable imo. but it goes as predictably as you’d expect. so yeah. not a great start to dividing the two brothers tbh.
would i recommend this movie? not really. watch og lion king and lion king 2 instead. but it’s not awful, just not very good, tbh.

Shadow Colors "racism" has the same problem that Zootopia has, using prey vs predator as a way to symbolize racism
the problem with this kind of metaphor is that, unlike real life, there's a reason for predators to be feared, the prey animals have a point
And Mel in that script... it's something, the wolf character killing the sheep character communicates to the viewer that "oooh so we should descriminate and fear all wolfs because the only ones we've seen are crazy violent people" (Dominik especially, but Lucy too)
Yeah, it's. Pretty fuckin' weird, but then again, it gets confusing because while what you are saying is true, there's also the real life stuff on how animals can be predators to other predators, and there's also the fact that prey animals are more likely to attack you unprovoked and more aggressively than the predator, then finally, the food chain that comes to predator becoming prey.
It's like this, lions can be considered predators, but zebras can literally knock a lion out with a kick of their legs from the force being used, and a giraffe can break a lion's neck and kill it instantly. Mind you, zebra and giraffe are prey animals, but can be more, or just as dangerous as the predator animals because they attack out of self defense and much more aggression.
Sheep are completely defenseless to wolves, so Dominik killing "Old Boss" is basically correct because Sheep can't defend themselves, but wolves can be hunted and if food sources are low for other predators like polar bears, grizzly bears, black bears, and siberian tigers, they'll definitely take the opportunity to kill a wolf if they get the chance, so if there's any in the factory, Dominik would be very royally fucked.
But yeah, regardless of the IRL stuff, Old Boss actually is basically an asshole that has a mindset of "all predators are inherently bad and violent, therefore I should treat them lesser than me because they're a different species unrelated to prey", but Dominik and Lucy... Yeah, very bad implications because it implies that all of wolves/canines are bad.

Victoria Falls - Differences Between the Zimbabwean and Zambian Sides
Victoria Falls, known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya (The Smoke That Thunders), straddles the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, creating a natural spectacle shared by two nations. While both sides of the falls provide awe-inspiring views, the experiences offered on each side differ. This article explores the distinctions in the views in the two countries, the unique activities available in each location, and other factors to consider when choosing which side to visit.
Panoramic Views vs. Intimate Encounters
The Zimbabwean side, home to the Victoria Falls National Park, boasts a wider range of viewpoints, offering a comprehensive panorama of the falls. Visitors can stroll along the expansive trail network and take in the different sections, including the Main Falls, the Rainbow Falls, and the Eastern Cataract. This allows for a deeper understanding of Victoria Falls' sheer scale and power. Conversely, the Zambian side provides a more intimate encounter with the cascading waters. Knife's Edge Bridge, a narrow walkway jutting out over the gorge, delivers a thrilling close-up view of the Eastern Cataract. Activities like whitewater rafting or kayaking on the Zambezi River further immerse visitors in the raw energy of the falls.
Seasonal Differences
The Zambezi River's water level significantly impacts the experience on each side of Victoria Falls. During the wet season (April to September), both sides offer a magnificent spectacle. However, during the dry season (October to March), the spray from the falls on the Zambian side can be minimal, especially at the Eastern Cataract. The Zimbabwean side, with its broader viewing area, generally retains a more impressive display throughout the year.
Unique Activities and Wildlife Viewing
Each side offers distinct adventure activities. Zimbabwe boasts the thrilling Bungee Jump and the scenic helicopter flight over the falls. For wildlife enthusiasts, a visit to the Zambezi National Park on the Zimbabwean side allows for game drives and potential sightings of elephants, lions, and giraffes. Accessible from the Zambian side during low water is Livingstone Island, which provides a unique vantage point right from atop the cascading water. Here, visitors can witness rainbows forming amid the spray. The island also features the world-famous Devil's Pool, a natural rock pool at the edge of the falls, where visitors can take a dip under the watchful eye of safety guides.
Cost and Border Crossings
Visa and entry fees can vary depending on nationality. Generally, Zambia is considered slightly cheaper than Zimbabwe. However, accommodation options on both sides cater to a range of budgets. For those interested in visiting both sides, a single visa allowing for multiple entries might be necessary. Border crossings are relatively simple for most nationalities, but checking visa requirements beforehand is crucial.
The Final Choice
The ideal side to visit ultimately depends on individual preferences. For those seeking a wide-ranging perspective with numerous viewpoints and wildlife viewing opportunities, the Zimbabwean side might be more suitable. If an up-close-and-personal encounter with the falls, thrilling activities, and a potentially lower budget demand are priorities, Zambia could be the better choice. Regardless, both sides of Victoria Falls offer a unique and unforgettable experience.

Giraffe Girumble - Initial Roster + Preliminaries
Hello, and thank you all for waiting! We're going for a 32 Giraffe tournament, and we got 45 valid submissions (44 if we take into account the recent Girafarig/Farigiraf decision). With that in mind, here are the giraffes that received enough nominations to qualify!

The Giraffe/Kirin (Revue Starlight)

Miyushi Kazunari (A3)

Durpleton (Centaur World)
Additionally, 2 autoqualified giraffes that I had hidden to gain propaganda (the others got some, but they didn't) include:
Wattgiraffe (Yu-Gi-Oh!)
Giraffes (...like real ones. I'm surprised no one nominated them)
The other 2 that got propaganda were Kaku and Farigiraf. Since Farigiraf is split with Girafarig (and because we're 1 away from 16 qualifiers), I'm also adding one more auto-qualifier:
Agent G (Short Giraffe)
So, we've got 16 spots left and 28 giraffes remaining. Next week, we'll have 14 randomly-sorted autoqualifiers to fill out the spots, and then divide the remaining 14 randomly into 2 more polls to determine the last 2. These random qualifiers are...
Giraffes (r/nosleep) vs Queer Giraffes (Gladiator)
LPS Giraffe 1488 (Littlest Pet Shop) vs The Giraffe Height Chart in Boo's Room (Monster's Inc.)
Chirinmon (Digimon) vs Box Art Giraffe (Zoo Tycoon 2: African Adventure)

From the majestic elephants and lions to the elusive leopards and rhinos, Kenya is home to an incredible array of wildlife waiting to be discovered. Join Nature Nest Safaris as we provide a comprehensive guide to planning your Kenya wildlife safari adventure.
Understanding the Big 5 and Beyond Kenya is renowned for being one of the best destinations in Africa to spot the Big 5 – lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. These iconic animals are a must-see for any wildlife enthusiast, and Kenya's national parks and reserves offer ample opportunities for sightings. In addition to the Big 5, Kenya is also home to a wealth of other wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, hippos, and countless bird species.
Choosing the Right Destination Kenya boasts a variety of national parks and reserves, each offering unique landscapes and wildlife experiences. The world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve is renowned for its spectacular wildebeest migration, while Amboseli National Park offers unparalleled views of Mount Kilimanjaro and abundant elephant sightings. Other popular destinations include Tsavo East and West National Parks, Samburu National Reserve, and Lake Nakuru National Park. Consider your interests and preferences when choosing the right destination for your Kenya wildlife safari adventure.
Selecting the Best Time to Visit The timing of your Kenya wildlife safari can significantly impact your experience, as wildlife behavior and seasonal weather patterns vary throughout the year. The dry season, typically from July to October, is considered the best time for wildlife viewing, as animals congregate around water sources, making sightings more predictable. The wet season, from November to May, offers lush landscapes and the opportunity to witness newborn animals, but wildlife may be more dispersed. Consider your priorities and choose the time of year that aligns with your preferences.
Accommodation Options Kenya offers a wide range of accommodation options to suit every traveler's preferences and budget. From luxury lodges and tented camps to budget-friendly campsites, there's something for everyone. Consider the level of comfort and amenities you desire, as well as the location of the accommodation in relation to the national parks and reserves you plan to visit.
Guided vs. Self-Drive Safaris When planning your Kenya wildlife safari, you'll need to decide whether you prefer a guided tour or a self-drive adventure. Guided safaris provide the expertise of experienced guides who can enhance your wildlife sightings and provide valuable insights into the local flora and fauna. On the other hand, self-drive safaris in 4X4 Safari vehicle hire offer the freedom to explore at your own pace and venture off the beaten path. Consider your comfort level and experience driving in remote areas when making this decision.

So what did everyone turn out as? (Hopefully not all bugs, there's so many spawns of those lol) Also quick disclaimer, if I encounter an animal twice, not gonna count the second time. Unless it is a different type (for example, a tropical hornbill vs an african one). Otherwise, no repeats, clear? I will be including normal minecraft mobs that are irl animals though. (feel free to do your own thing if you wanna try this, ZAWA server is pretty empty rn)
First off, Phamily members & co Danny: Black Footed Ferret Jazz: Antilles Pinktoe Tarantula Jack: Domestic Chicken Maddie: Bark Scorpion Ellie: Conure Jordan: Maned Wolf

Imma play Zawa and based off of what I encounter is what animal characters are mixed with and this can go wrong in no way whatsoever :)
#dcxdp#dpxdc#would this count as a minecraft au?#Anyway a curse escapes & mixes with magic of a broken reality bending object#Now it's like a platonic omegaverse but everyone also has animal aspects#Like cat ears & tail & such for example#idk if any of this is making sense#Might eventually reblog with art if I draw them too#Might write this#might just stay a wip forever#feel free to use as a prompt#prompts?#prompts#Anyway Ill choose secondary dynamics based off of a wheelofnames lol#Figured it'd be fun to randomize them
