I have made it to the the land of many boozes! @drinkfinderuk has a store in the middle of one of the most cornish villages you can find. Constantine is on the Lizard peninsula just outside Falmouth and in the centre is the Constantine Stores home to the most amazing selection of wines and spirits i have ever seen! There must've been over 300 gins. It may well be only 10:30 but the lady has offered us a taste of a few! I have taken my gin on holiday, or rather its half term, I am at my parents in Cornwall and i packed the gin... To kick off the closest thing i have to a holiday I have the beautiful @malfygin with lemon. I have a secret love affair with limoncello after i was gifted a bottle years ago from the Amalfy Coast. It has to be like drinking sherbet lemons but with a strong lemon hit. This gin was such a surprise, a sour lemony hit without and hint of sicklyness. I thought that as i also have a love of lemon posset with fresh raspberries i thought some raspberries and lemon peel would be a good garnish. The general opinion in the ancestral GinTabica household was that despite the continuous hail storms outside and the freezing Atlantic northerly we were all transported to a warm sandy beach with crystal clear water lapping the shore. The escapism was quickly ended by darkening skies and a sudden downpour. Definitely be adding a big bottle to the collection this summer!
