🍓 What’s a fic you’ve written you feel is underrated?

I pray the lord my memory to keep. it's my lowest hit + kudo fic. this one was super experimental and i was playing around with a different style, but i'm really proud of it. the whole thing is so surreal and dreamy and feverish.

it's CULT FIC. i really wrote the cast running off to mexico to start that cult and made it super unsettling and wrapped it up with an amnesic mystery!

🍍 What kind of AUs do you like? Are there any AUs you hate or just generally have beef with?

i love vampires AU specifically, but also adore any sort of paranormal/supernatural/urban fantasy AUs. vampires, werewolves, witches? gimmie gimmie gimmie. dark superhero AUs. oh also western/rodeo/ranch/farm/cowboy AUs my beloved. on the kinky side, i love omegaverse AUs so long as it doesn't have mpreg and BDSM AU. oh and baseball AU!

i wouldn't say i have beef with them, but AUs that aren't really my cuppa tea would be anything school related. high school AU, university AU, etc. or any AUs that exist to be inherently fluffy/cozy like coffee shop AU. just not my thing, but i have read some good ones that i enjoyed. simply not something i'll seek out specifically or ever get an urge to read.

I know I’ve mentioned before how I envision Johnny as an electric type gym leader. Idk if I’ve mentioned his origin story. So basically he’s out explorin & gets in an accident. The important part is he helped a colony of electric type(in my mind electrike/manectric) earlier in his journey. So now we have an unconscious possible dead Johnny, & we have his electric friends tryin to revive him. To their devastation no one can revive him. This is when Zapdos itself comes & personally gives a life saving thunderbolt. From that day on Johnny not only wholeheartedly respects electric types, but he also pledges to experience victory with them. Sure he has other Pokémon types, but for official battles or tournaments he always uses electric types for majority of his team.

But it’s not anime you’re watching tonight. The new AkuMon game is out and Levi is already leveling up his monsters to get to the blocked off area for this game’s special feature: secret bases! It’s a children’s game, easily won through, and it takes less time for him to start building his space than it does for you to answer his text about coming over to play. 

He has the Grey edition, you have Beige, and you’re planning on trading each’s AkuMon to get them to evolve. There’s another up Levi’s sleeve, and it takes a few expert moves only a real gamer could pull off - or, just one with a decent enough literacy of forums and customization tools to turn the tree house into a replica of his room. The giant AkuMon plus sits in the middle, right where his bed is, taking the pace of his beloved Ruri-chan pillow. 

The door opens and Levi gets his AkuMon lined up to trade. His thumb, sweaty, slips over the joystick and the first monster is traded over with a grin.

“You gave your monsters some funny names,” you say, reading them aloud. “Dodou. Swanna. Grubbin. Gabite. Mankey? These sound kind of familiar.”

He couldn’t help but sit up in his chair. “They do?” You were about to say so when he interrupted. “Because you said them fast?”

You blinked. “What?”

Note: Here’s my first rec that’s over the set limit (just over 700 kudos), but I just love this one so fucking much, okay? TvT (It’s actually the one I had in mind when I made the ‘I may, occasionally, rec something over the limit’ caveat.)
