Every time a letter arrives from a friend of mine, I never really know what to expect. This came the other week. He was trying a new technique and it’s created from a mix of #coffee and #coolaid. He used his own hair instead of a brush (he’s native so it’s long enough for him to trim a bit). I kept passing by this building on my way to Tucson from Phoenix. I finally had the chance to stop and see what it was. I was not disappointed. This is the Visitor Center for the Rivers, AZ Japanese Interment Camp near Bapchule, AZ. Most of it was fenced off and I am not one to enter private property. But so much happened in this area with the interment of Japanese Americans during World War 2. If your ever on the I-10 between these two points, I urge you to stop and check out this cool place.
