one of us has to take one for the team and tell directors and editors that we do not need 34798284 angles of the exact same kiss .and while we're at it we should also talk about the overuse of slo-mo during pivotal moments

#giffing scenes that keep cutting to a different shot every 0.25 seconds make me wanna quit for real #bonus points if they've also sprinkled in some slo-mo because why not :D #like looking at it from a giffer's perspective i'd say these are two unforgivable offenses #but it's also horrible from a viewer's perspective because it keeps taking me out of the immersion #and like i know nothing about directing and/or editing but man i do hate both of these things with a burning passion #tbh there have definitely been dramas where i was lowkey dreading the kissing scenes because i knew they were going to butcher them lmao #like just let these scenes flow with minimal-ish cuts and NO SLO-MO I'M BEGGING #(this is specifically about thai bls but i'm sure there are directors and editors in other countries that keep doing this as well)#sabrina talks
