Snootbros “Don’t harass GHV fans” challenge

True, but also, I don't want to categorize all Snoot fans as serial harassers and assholes. Every fandom has those kinds of people to some degree, sadly. And in the time since I got doxed, a shocking number of Snoot fans ended up reaching out to me to show me kindness, to make up for all the shit I've been put through. Some of them would go on to become friends, or even leave the Snoot fandom behind.

There's been this boogeyman image of me cooked up by Cavemanon and their biggest supporters, that I'm this queer killjoy trying to trample on everyone's good time. That's never been my goal. All I've wanted is honesty and accountability. I want people to know the real reasons why that game was made, who made it, and what kind of people they are. And I don't want the harm Cavemanon has done – towards KO_OP, towards GVH fans (including me), and towards their own fans and developers – to be forgotten.

a little curiosity - i am convinced that the photo which shows up during the loadscreen of staying the night got originally taken in the (STILL closed) area above northlink and ghv! though it has been many years since the area last looked like that, there used to be plain meadows with trees and it was visible from the shores of goldenhills stables. at some point in 2018, the view was blocked off by mountains and the area became a sort of a "testing ground" of new textures and other random stuff for the sso team (at least i think so).

How did GHV and dualscar meet in your au? How did they come to have the dynamic they have?

So, essentially their dynamic for most of GunDog is:

Ghb/Bachus avvwoiding him like the plauge because his lawwvyer wwvill KILL him if he gets near the man. Wwvhile also growwving increasingly awwvare of the danger Dual nowwv poses to his men.

Dual, for his part, is MORE than happy to pretend the biggest mistake of his life nevvwer happened, wwvhile also mauling any clowwvns he catches near his hunting grounds.

Said biggest mistake being the fact that they dated for a wwvhile. Dual had just lost his mentors and fellowwv huntsmen to a series of increasingly fucked up circumstances, and wwvas desperate for ANY kind of connection, and Bachus has NEVVWER turned dowwvn an opportunity to manipulate a seadwwveller. Catching feelings wwvas an accident.

Their breakup wwvas bloody and VVWERY mutual.

That's not howwv they MET though. That happened a fewwv swwveeps earlier, wwvhen Dual wwvas younger, and MIGHT havvwe trespassed on church grounds. Bachus wwvas in a good mood that night, and that is the ONLY reason he survvwivvwed the encounter.
