How long does a piece typically take from start to finish??

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! erm It will always depend! Most of the work I put up on my YouTube channel always comes back as like 4 hours of footage! but like it usually takes me two days to complete something (when I'm in the zone lmao I have been VERY distracted lately :,)) If it's just a character piece then i'd say one day/5 hours maybe?? but backgrounds for sure are either 2 or 3 days!

I know they’re both as British as fuck as but since I like them so much and im willing to overlook that: In the way my culture celebrates day of the dead if Colin and Pen passed around the same time then it would mean their pictures (in this case portraits) go up on the ofrenda at the same time. Their souls would never have the displeasure of seeing their image up on the offrenda alone…their kids would give offerings of eclairs and be like “we know how much you love them so now you guys can share your eclairs together again!”….NOBODY SPEAK TO ME!!!

A lot of cultures (mine included!) believe that a loved one will come pick you up once you’ve passed to help escort you to the other side. My personal hc is that Colin would’ve been waiting for Pen the whole time for her to join him so that they can both finally cross over together. It’s part of the belief that you go through 2 deaths: even if physically you’ve passed on, true death only happens when you’re forgotten. With Colin and Pen being established authors they’d be immortalized through their works so that that never happens. So yeah! Bittersweet but I think they’d be happy for a long time to come even after they’ve passed :’))).

omg ok but like imagine penelope passing away and colin is just bereft and wants everyone to leave him alone bc the world has just lost its sunlight and he goes to sleep that night very willingly and he sees her in his dreams and she's looking as young and as pretty as she was in her twenties and bc he dreams of her often he's more than fine but she just smiles and reaches out to him with her hands and tells him she's come to take him home, she couldn't leave him behind, their children and grandchildren will be fine, it's time for the next adventure. and colin slowly realises he's died as well and he takes her hands...smiles...leans into kiss her...and the light takes them.
