“It’s been awhile.” Adelheid smiled toward her open door. She was right in the middle of gripping a tray of rolls with her apron. She placed them down to cool and walked over to Sy, her smile growing warmer by the second. The witch gently touched his cheek. “How are you, Sy? Anything exciting?”

     COMING BACK always felt natural, if not even bound to happen. The time to get back on the road and head into the woods and towards a single familiar cottage would always come, and he'd always pack his few belongings without complaining, as if he were simply answering a call. His feet would always find their way back to her, and he would always walk by the spot after which he'd start running, racing past trees and bushes and hidden deers that'd look at the human-looking creature and hear the melodies pouring out of him as if they were weighing him down and he were discarding them for his own survival. There was always that smell of freedom in the air - a vibration that rang through the whole forest and beckoned him closer, allowing him to leave bits of his disguise behind. Few other moments felt this freeing.

     And then he would - and he did now - stop in front of Adelheid's cottage and know her door was already open for her to come in and hop on top of the steps of the porch and see her again and think that having a mother must have felt this way or close to it, so very close he could almost begin to understand that feeling.

     His laughter rang out, like bells chiming and orchestras bursting into waterfalls of notes. "Plenty a' excitin' things! You ain't gonna believe half a' 'em!"

@ghostpining​​ :  Just out of curiosity, whats your favorite writing trope? (Enemies to lovers, amnesia, etc)

Okay! I'm mostly an angsty bitch, which I think by now... should be clear to everyone that looked at my writing or even just my choice of muse for more than ten seconds. I like fluff, sometimes, depending on my mood, but I personally am not the most fluffy writer. It's not that I don't appreciate good written ones, it's simply that I run out of ideas there pretty quickly, but that's a me issue. I always end up putting angsty shit in there eventually, whether I plan to or not.

My all time favorites are corruption arcs (and I like being on either side depending on the muse, actually! I wrote villains a lot in the past and might pick up on it again soon, I do miss writing absolute bastards) and deriving from it actually anything towards torture when I need to really, really clean out my mind (again, on either end) and for dynamics, murder couples. There's just something about 'couples that clean blood of each other stay together' — I like writing feral stuff, though it is mentally exhausting for me, and throwing in some intimacy and care with a partner that I really click with is just my most favorite thing.

I think most of my big writing tropes go into that direction? I do enjoy enemies to lovers (though I'd say I like friends to lovers as much), and I'm not that much for any 'fake dating' or 'arranged' dynamics. I'm all about those highly emotional deep connections in dynamics.

I'm an angst whore, but I do love my actual horror in there.

☀ Does the mun listen to you while writing or not?

        ❝ Most of the time Felicia does! She tries her best. We work well together and are almost in sync with each other. I lift up her mood when she’s not feeling it. She lets me flow through her and automatically the words come together. 

She can do it when she takes her time. I tell her not to rush with it and she agrees~ (I told you I’m always right, Felicia~ ❞

well as a running theme in one of my circles is, of course, Sexy/Slutty/Spoopy Costumes. So of course Pins took Sexy Ghost because, well, she’s kinda lazy and things no one will recognize her. (or doesn't care). to be continued!

      Everything happened so quickly  —   in any other situation, Gilbert would’ve been quite confident in fending for himself but before being attacked, he quickly noted his attacker’s unnatural aura as well as their unnatural speed ... followed by a sharp pain piercing his ribs not once, but twice.  The rest was a haze until he came around again, dizzy and vulnerable, to a blond standing before him.  The conversation that had ensued was also a blur until the subject of ... vampires?  Wait ... Why do I have to become a vampire?

       ... He’ll die?  That’s preposterous.  Not only is it because this young man came to supposedly save him from his former attacker only to follow up with threatening his life, himself, but vampires?  What nonsense.  “  S — ..So then ... why ...  why did you — ?  ”  Gilbert grimaces, pressing his back against the cool brick wall, tightening his grip on his ribs.

"Sy~!" Wren drapes themselves lazily over Sy's shoulder. Everything has been so quiet lately. Ugh, how boring. If no one else is going to cause trouble, looks like these two have to step it up. "Sy let's go set something on fire!"

HE HAS been content with strumming a casual tune on his guitar for the past few minutes and, well - he might be guilty of kind of forgetting Wren was there with him until they launge forward and wrap him in a lazy embrace. He doesn't move, just stops playing, and looks up at them from above his shoulder, his gaze questioning but ready for whatever answer they might give him. It will be a good one for sure, he knows it will.

And Wren really doesn't disappoint him, and the smile spreading on Sy's lips in return has little of human. A few pieces of his disguise are stuck on it, but most of it looks different. Not quite right. An excitement that feels too wild to belong to this world, an eagerness that could kill if he decided to fully listen to it. But this is not the case.

"What somethin'?" He sets the guitar aside and turns properly to see Wren face to face and his emotions mirrored in the vampire's eyes. "C'mon, I'm sure you got an idea!"
