Tyler & Bradley inc Real Estate Loans -- Insurance 24 N. 8th St.

This storefront is now home to Sefton Coffee Company (excellent spot! www.seftoncoffee.com), but was once home to a real estate company run by men named William L. Tyler and J. Floyd Bradley.

Check out the ad to the right found in The Monocle, the newspaper of John Marshall High School, in 1946. [Thanks Library of Virginia archive!]

William T. Tyler Patent

Not sure if its the same guy, but a quick search of names turned up a patent application from a William T. Tyler of Richmond, VA in 1914 for a pen cleaner & holder. Check out the patent drawing: http://patentimages.storage.googleapis.com/pages/US1089992-0.png
