"After a thousand years of darkness, one will come, clad in blue and surrounded by fields of gold to restore mankind's connection to the Earth that was destroyed." For week 3 of #ghiblinovember22 the prompt was air so I decided to draw Nausicaä from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. I don’t think there’s such a thing as an obscure Miyazaki character, but it was fun drawing of his less often seen in fanart heroines. This is such a good movie ♥️ I’m really pleased this how this one turned out. I’ve been using the light brush to add a bit of a glow to my Ghibli November drawings and I really enjoy how much it transforms a drawing. I need to be careful not to go overboard with it though haha. Here's my entry for the week 3 prompt of #GhibliNovember22! The prompt was "Air" and the very first thing that came to mind was the incredible movie "Laputa: Castle in the Sky" because what could be more suitable for the air prompt than a floating castle? I've always had a soft spot for giant friendly robots, and this wonderful automaton who cares for the animals and plant life of Laputa is no exception. This is my third piece with Procreate and my first finished piece using the Paperlike screen protector!
