There’s not many cities in the world where you can wake on a summer morning, roll out of bed, and roll with any of the 5+ run crews for your long run and with people who are training for the same race, different race, or no race at all because - “this is what community looks like.” For week five of our @berlinmarathon training , @pineapple.yogi and I rolled with Coach J, @kingparkergold200and his squad, @gftcnyc where they kicked off their @nycmarathon training. I was telling my wife, Sharon earlier on in the run that my legs were craving a stimulus on these longs runs today, so I was glad Coach J pushed us - @dgg_h and @lllllaurado to surge through the Prospect Park loop. There are absolutely no words during and after to describe the feeling when the cadence of our steps and breaths sync up and al of a sudden we are not running individually but as one unit.
