Spartans, check out some workshops we’ve got going on this week! With the semester quickly coming to a close, it would be a good idea to take advantage of these education and development opportunities. Check the blurb below for the names/dates/times of these workshops, along with a description of each. 
Essay Excellence: Revision for Success Wednesday, 11/29, 10:30am – 11:45am @ Hugh Gillis Hall, Room 255 A hands-on workshop in practical revision strategies. Trimming the Fat: Writing Concisely and Avoiding Wordiness Thursday, 11/30, 3:00pm - 4:00pm @ Clark Hall 100H It's a common misconception among beginning writers that using more words makes one's writing sound more intelligent. The opposite is true. The trick to good writing is to say as much as you can in as few words as possible. Trim the fat, leave the meat. This workshop will explore strategies for recognizing and removing this undesirable fattiness from your writing.

First, NYU Steinhardt’s Embedded Master of Arts in Teaching program is seeking a part time Campus Campaign Coordinator to lead the recruitment of college seniors at San Jose State University to join the program in the 2018-2019 school year. The Campus Campaign Coordinator will help design and execute a recruitment plan at SJSU for the 2017-2018 school year. Full job description here: http://bit.ly/2kzB4mF.
