something interesting about art and music, to me, is when you make it you make it. its done. it lives forever now. like a recording of a song can be played forever even though its done being recorded. you paint a painting for a few hours over a week and then it can hang on a wall for hundreds of years. i remind myself of this sort of stuff when i feel like im not doing enough because like. if i can just do a little, if i can get some stuff done, i can still do all the other stuff i need to do, like take care of myself or have a job. or try different forms of art

#like idk theres so much to do #the fact that famous musicians are often on 24/7 tour and promo cycles warps u into thinking thats what being a musician has to be #but u can just make a song and itll last forever #you dont have to do it over and over again if you dont have the time #i dont have to quit my day job or get a maid to be able to do at least some of the stuff i wanna do #and im trying to remember that?#idk if this makes any sense #now what i actually need to spend time doing more is writing lmao #getting my thoughts out in a coherent manner is not my strongsuit rn
