Ok I was watching a vid on Gen V just for shits and gigs (I haven't watched it, and I've only have seen a couple eps of the boys S1) and I am now fully obsessed with Jordan and their storyline (and in love with them) so now I do HAVE to watch it, I had interest in it a little bit when it was first announced but I was worried I really needed to watch the boys to understand so I didn't start it but i have only heard good things about Gen V (I didn't like the boys so that why I stopped) and it does seem up my alley but how much of the boys do I need to know about or can I just watch it without having seen the boys?

So, okay, in the last month I got offered a job and ending up moving out of my parent's house real last minute, and things have only just started calming down what with all the upheavel so I haven't written much in the last 3? 4? Weeks. But I pushed myself to write this weekend and got some decent progress done, so we are officially back in business! I want to hope I'll finish the rewrite by the end of February, but then I hoped I'd finish it before Christmas. So. Yeah. Jury's out on that front. But!! We're close. We're getting real close.

Short rl life rant:

I was put on antidepressants 7 years ago, a certain AD that nobody is supposed to be on for THAT long apparently. Nobody told me.

The psychiatrist I saw regularly every 3 months for 6 of those years just kept on prescribing them to me. When I told her I would like to get off them she told me the side effects are going to be a very tough journey cause I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE ON THOSE SPECIFIC ADs FOR SO DAMN LONG.

The stories of other long-term patients of hers sounded awful, with nausea and vertigo that can stay for up to A YEAR WTF.

Like, the shifty eyes she had, I could read the "oh fuck" on her face.

I'm so scared of reducing my dose further or even stopping 😭 Fuck you psychiatrist lady, if you knew why didn't you tell me??? Was she just assuming I would take them till the day I kicked the bucket? I'm so mad.
