Does Jaime’s golden hand point towards him being the valonqar?

What stands out to me is the shared meaning of the golden hand for Jaime and Tyrion, which is introduced for both as a symbol of their station - the gold chain of office for Tyrion as Hand of the King, and Jaime's golden hand as a replacement for his sword hand. Tyrion and Jaime see the qualities associated with each as central to their personalities and their worth to the court and to the realm. Tyrion was chosen as Hand for his intelligence and cunning. Jaime was raised to the kingsguard for his daring and skill with a sword.

For each of the Lannister brothers, the first mention of their golden hands are linked to their respective lovers:

Given that Tyrion exacted revenge on his unfaithful lover by choking her with his golden hands, it's not outside the realm of possibility that Jaime will be the one to strangle Cersei (an unfaithful lover, and someone who he thinks deserves justice for her actions).

Okay but genuinely why are some people so pressed about Arthur doing FP1? First of all, the team has to do a rookie session and afaik Ollie doesn’t technically count as one anymore bc he did three races. Second, it makes sense bc Arthur is a sim driver and would make sense to let him compare how the sim actually translates to the track. Third, realistically it’s not like the guy will ever actually race so why are some people acting like he’ll get a seat??

Imo it’s incredibly nice to see Charles and Arthur getting to drive in an official f1 session, even if it’s only an fp1.

Concept I find amusing: Shawn and Lassie have to kiss each other as part of a cover on a case. Not a quick, chaste kiss either, but a solid open-mouthed kiss. After this, they spend two weeks avoiding eachother. When they get grilled by Jules and Gus respectively, who are tired of them being babies about a kiss, it turns out they aren't avoiding eachother out of awkwardness.

Nope. Instead, they're both pissed off at each other because somehow, against all odds, it was the best kiss either of them had ever had by a mile.

I see a lot of haters mocking the "just vote blue" strawman online this week.

I don't know anybody who was saying or thinking "voting blue is all you have to do". Nobody thinks that electing a democrat will "fix the country" or make our problems go away.

We are screaming about voting because it's the bare minimum, entry level, welcome to adulthood part of the political process and people STILL DON'T GO TO THE POLLS!

Look at the numbers from the 2024 primaries. Every single one of these elections had a dozen or so ADDITIONAL RACES being decided, some even had ballot measures and special elections added in but the turn out was TERRIBLE!

And the 2022 mid terms where the Democrats lost the House seats?

Voter turnout for the 2022 U.S. congressional elections was the second highest for a nonpresidential election year since 2000, with 52.2% of the citizen voting-age population participating. 

"Just over half" was a RECORD!

You haters need to focus your energy on activism that doesn't involve attacking your allies. those of us trying to get people to vote aren't the problem.
