TMAGP EP 10 SPOILER (THEORY ABOUT [ERROR])
People are probably very confused by me bringing up Lucia Wright from TMA so let me explain why I think [ERROR] might be her.
It's rly simple lmao. I listen to TMAGP on YouTube so after the episode was done, I checked the cast list on YouTube. [ERROR] was credited as Beth Eyre (still weirded out by Bonzo being uncredited though).
I did a little bit of digging and found out Beth Eyre did actually guest star in one of the TMA episodes, MAG130, The Flesh.
She was Lucia Wright, the church-visiting girl who accidentally got caught in the Slaughter ritual and was the only one to survive. She came to the institute to give Gertrude her statement.
Now, obviously they could be reusing VAs to play completely different characters but with the theme of Celia, Gerry, and Gertrude being played by their original VAs, even if they're the TMAGP version of themselves, I strongly believe that's not the case.
I think that Lucia Wright could be our key to figuring out how Celia got here.
We see her escaping the tunnels which still exist here so the Panopticon probably still exists. Additionally, she doesn't sound like she's in a good state so I assume she's been hiding down there. Maybe Celia went through the same thing but had the time to adjust? And when she was ready, Celia came up and found the OIAR since they're the closest thing this universe has the institute after it burned down.
I will say though, we're basically seeing people who were not main characters or really all that important but whose voices we HAVE actually heard. Celia and Lucia. I know Gerry and Gertrude are important in TMA but like Gerry was actually one IN one episode.
So yeah, here's why I keep saying it's Lucia Wright lol and I'm excited bc I genuinely like her. I mean. Complicated relationship with religion but then finding a way to make her peace with it? Visiting all other places worship without judgment? SURVIVED A FUCKING FLESH RITUAL???
Like obviously she probably ended up in a flesh dimension when the TMA world went Eyepocalypse, so was she prey or a hunter? And did she get sucked through the Hilltop Road rift?
Four weeks till we get anything AAAAAA (I know we won't get answers about this for ages though)

I've seen Marble Hornets TMA AUS
But what about a Magnus Archives MH AU? Jon running around with a camera or tape recorder, being chased by The Operator. And the Archive crew getting killed off one by one by... who? I'm not sure yet, but the ideas are buzzing.

Tma AU where Jonah fucked up his ritual when transferring to Elias’ body and still exists but is like. On the backburner unable to control the body. Because he’s a loser. So OG Elias is able to hear everything he thinks but Jonah can’t do anything. And so he learns the evil plan to end the world and immediately decides nope that’s NOT happening.
And since James Wright appointed him as the next Head of the Institute he has full control over everything he destroys every single bit of Jonah’s carefully laid masterplan. And Jonah suffers seeing everything he’s build fall like a house of cards. At the end Elias just goes and kills Jonah — there were concerns that it may also kill him, but he was ready to sacrifice himself — and comes out alive and free from voyeristic georgian men.
Elias establishes something of a truce with Gertrude after explaining the situation and also perhaps maybe telling her that Jonah mentioned one of her assistants is of the Web and what does that mean? Also what are the rituals and why does Jonah keep saying they don’t work unless you— (Gertrude cuts him off before he says it out loud. Walls have ears. You never know who might be listening).
Michael doesn’t die. Neither does Gerry, because after he faints for the third time at the Institute — Elias doesn’t have spooky eldritch eye powers, but he has office gossip, and that’s basically the same thing — Elias personally goes down to the Archives and tells him to go to the fucking doctor dude. Gerry smokes weed with him after a few months and thanks him for potentially saving his life
By the time Gertrude dies, which is post Stranger ritual (not shot by him, but still probably not peacefully, knowing her) Sasha becomes the next Archivist, and her role in the overall world of the Fears — Elias is not an avatar, doesn’t want to be, but has some leftover traits from Jonah’s inhabitance in his body, and knows a lot — is explained before she signs any contract. Also you’re not tied for life, fuck that. There’s a mandatory Entities 101 for every employee, no matter what department they work in; the vast majority of them come here seeking answers for what really ruined their lives, none of them deserve to die because nobody tells them what they’re actually fighting against. Tim — very much alive — goes to the Archives with Sasha, Jon stays in reaserch and eventually becomes Head Researcher. Martin goes to college part time at some point. Life is good

thinking more about the Archivist. spoilers under the cut
so I said in my general TMAGP37 thoughts post that I think it could be Mary Keay
we know it isn’t Gertrude. shes alive and well in the original universe the entity is from. however, we haven’t heard about Mary. Gerry is still alive and well, it’s vaguely implied he stays with Gertrude as she calls him her “grandson”
the only thing is the VAs are not the same, but, I wonder if it could be a younger Mary? maybe when Gerry was young, the gift kids program wasn’t actually scouting for kids but, those kids parents? would it be possible that through that program, Mary got pulled into the institute just to become the Archivist? which then lead them to burn down the institute and trap her?
I’m not 100% on this. the VA was featured previously in MAG130: MEAT. however. that being a flesh-based episode makes me think that the Archivist and the character in that, Lucia Wright, are not the same person. though it is always a possibility cause who knows with Jonny and Alex

Beth Eyre is in the credits as [Error] in this episode, i assume she is the intake of breath right at the end after a tape recorder clicks. Beth Eyre voiced Lucia Wright in TMA, the woman from episode 130, Meat. she gave her statement to Gertrude, so wouldn't recognise Chester or Norris's voices.
so... my theory is that the institute, or more specifically the archives, is a portal between TMA and TMAGP's worlds, like Hill Top Road, but it's specifically pulling through people whose voices are on tape. Celia first and now Lucia. i'm not sure that's the case with Gertrude and Gerry though, they seem like this universe's originals. but i look forward to seeing if there are any more familiar voices later! fingers crossed for Jordan Kennedy my fave.

THE MAGNUS PROTOCOL SPOILERS
Theories about ep 30 below the cut
First of all this will be a season final and knowing Jonny and Alex someone's ganna die.
In my opinion its either ganna be Alice or Lena.
Lena, because her death could bring very interesting twists and turns to the story, considering she's their boss and removing her would leave them without defenses
Or Alice because, as much as i love her, i have to admit she's a bit useless to the plot. She's just playing the scared sceptic and trying to keep Sam and Celia safe and continuously failing. Aside from her connection to Teddy she isnt good for much, in terms of furthering the plot.
Second of all this Archivist seems to be voiced by Beth Eyre, who, in TMA was the voice of Lucia Wright. And this Lucia might be related to James Wright, former head of the Institute, before Elias. Now could it be that in this universe Lucia was hired to be the head archivist? Considering the fears don't work the way they did in TMA maybe "being marked" by all the fears wasn't something Jonah Magnus had to care about, so he just chose the closest and easiest option.
As much as i'd love this Archivist to be Sasha, they seem to put a lot of importance on keeping the voiceactors for their characters consistent. Like with Basira, Gertrude, Gerry and Helen, potentially Jon and Martin as well.

New theory on ERROR and (lack of) paper mulch. (Protocol through ep 21, protocol casting call, and Archives S5 info below the break)
TL;DR: ERROR *is* the archive. The paper went into its creation. That’s why Red Canary didn’t find paper mulch in the archives. To quote Zolf, “The [being] is made of paper.”
Background: This idea is inspired by, but doesn’t depend on, the theme of balance that is developing within Protocol but also the ongoing balance across Protocol and Archives.
In Archives, Elias made John into the archive by taking a living person and adding statements. John (arguably) loses some his humanity as the show goes on (I heard a really great read today arguing against this today).
I think ERROR is the opposite. I think TMI took a dying body and stuffed the statements in to make a person. Corollaries:
I think it will become more human over time
I think Gertrude did it
Whatever happened to create ERROR connects back to the program Sam and Gerry were in
This resonates with the (historic) alchemical goals of creating artificial life
Some things we know about ERROR that go into this
Physically came up from the (apparent) tunnels in TMI (Episode 10)
There was a casting call for the role
“Created from someone on the point of death” (Casting call for [REDACTED])
“Building an identity for itself at the expense of its victims” (Casting call for [REDACTED])
Played by Beth Eyre, who played Lucia Wright, a character Gertrude almost “had to” kill (MAG 130 Meat)
Can compel statements from victims (Ep 21 script)
Comes with tape recorders (Ep 21) that bite (Ep 21 script)
The fact that there was a casting call at all means that the exact identity of ERROR wasn’t crucial to the story arc. But perhaps RQ was preferentially looking for any voice actor who was a statement giver in Archives. They could leave who it had been as a placeholder, then it would be simple to make it a the actor’s character a different (and deadly) fate in Protocol.
