Oh my god it has been ages since I have posted here!

I’ve mainly been focusing on college related stuff + focusing on other pieces of media so I don’t have that much of a fixation on frog family at the moment but I have been catching up with the show (admittedly by just playing it in the background while working on stuff) and, yeah, I still love the froggy gremlins. I actually have a plan for a character analysis on Keroro himself but I want it super long because there is a scene that I REALLY want to talk about because it is my personal all time favorite scene that, for me, defies who he is as a character and where his strong will to keep going with his plans comes from. I gotta rewatch the episode + a few others first before writing it though so that’ll take a while xD

I’ll continue to lurk in the shadows and post/reblog frog content but right now I am le busy. That’s all I wanna say! See ya folks!

English Voice Claims for the Keroro Platoon

Yay first post on this blog here we gooo! I have been doing a little bit of thinking about the Funimation Dub for this anime and the voices of the K Platoon.

While I love some of the voices! (Tamama and Dororo) I feel like some were a bit uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (Kururu and Keroro). So I thought “Why not look for voices that slightly sound like the original sub?” And it resulted in this!

Feel free to disagree on this choices (but please but nice about it |:|)

Okayyy sooo...super happy that I found this acc !! It makes me happy to know that a LOT more ppl adore this show than I thought ! :'3 How did u find this show and what would you say makes it special to u? :O

FIRST ASK HELL YEAH!!

Well it started in 2020 actually! One of my old Discord mutuals kept talking about the anime in a server I was in with them. I looked the anime up and my immediate thought was “Oh this looks funny and cute!” I watched a couple episodes of the sub and immediately liked it but it wasn’t up until season 2 that I REALLY loved it!

The reason it’s special to me is because of the wacky humor, the characters and their personalities and more importantly the heart and wholesomeness it has in most of the episodes. Everytime Fuyuki and Keroro interact and act like brothers to one another it always makes me tear up 😭

Though I will admit the anime is flawed and has a lot of stuff that could’ve been improved on (looks disappointingly at Giroro and Natsumi’s “dynamic”) it is still a really hilarious, really sweet and really good anime that I feel NEEDS to be talked about more

After watching Movie 4 I have wanted to make a rewrite of it where the main characters are Tamama and Momoka. I know they’re an important part of the story but in the end Keroro is the one who is the most important since he’s the last member of the platoon to turn into a dragon and help the rest of the platoon get their memories back after Keroro regains HIS memory through Fuyuki.

ALTHOUGH since Keroro already had an important role in both the first and third movies (The second one giving Natsumi the main character role) I feel like giving other members of the platoon a time to shine would be interesting and a way to vary. Tamama needs HIS own time to shine and more development. 😔
