The new "Pacific Ale" from Störtebeker found me by surprise. There I was doing my shopping, not expecting anything, when suddenly right there, where normally all the boring beers are waiting for all the boring drinkers, this four pack glistened in the neon lights of the supermarket... Yes, follow me mate's on board of this wheaty, oaty IPA. Everything a mild IPA needs: a little bit bitterness (just like life) +a little bit sweetness (not like my life). Matrosenschluck (seamans sip) by Ratherrn is one of my favorite go to beers. I even bought it for my wedding, because why should I drink something else 😋. I admit, I'm not Into "normal" beer it has to be hoppy or malty or fruity or... You know what I mean. I wouldn't dare to say this Steinbier by Leikeim isn't some kind of craftbeer, the brewers there obviously know their craft (better than those brewing dogs, anyway). The beer is smooth and a bit malty but it's just not something I would like to drink more often. But if you are into good, steadfast beer that's just beer and hasn't a name longer than the Reinheitsgebot then this might be your beer. Impossible, brewdog proofed they can make great beer. I admit, after the last disappointments by this brewery I only bought this to have something to complain about, but I can't it's just too good Hazy Jane is just the way I like my NEIPA. It smells like grapefruit and tastes wonderfully fruity and rich. Thanks for that. Now this Craftbeer battle has a clear winner. Überquell's Lieblings Imperial Lager doesn't has a any special note and is not very Imperial. It's drinkable but as I am not a big fan of Lager anyway, I won't drink it again.
