Aus Neugier hab ich mal auf ao3 nach deutschen Fandoms geschaut (ja, ich weiß, alle haben ne Schwäche für Tatort) und muss zugeben, dachte nicht, dass 18. Jh. mit Friedrich II von Preußen | Frederick the Great/Hans Hermann von Katte so beliebt ist. Wer Pause von Habeck und Wissing braucht, gibt es den Klassiker Goethe/Schiller und aus noch früheren Zeiten das Nibelungenlied (bescheidene 50 Stück).

Dazu gibt's auch Schloss Einstein (über 100), Babylon Berlin (über 100) und die 3 Fragezeichen (über 2 Tausend). Von den kleineren Fandoms sind da noch Die wilden Kerle (so 30) und Das Boot (so 50).

Und was mich überraschte: Santa Osterhase Sandmann und Zahnfee - Julien Bam (Music Videos) (so 90).

Ist schon interessant, dass historische (bzw. Lektüre) Fandoms hier so bis über 200 (je nach Tag) erreichen, also recht beliebt sind.

so this European clothing retailer decided to advertise their jean cuts on youtube and it's unintentionally the funniest shit I've seen today. why? well.

now important context here: in German, die (pronounced 'dee') is just a feminine article, it literally means "the".

but if an ad gets placed in the middle of an English video and doesn't use a single explicitly German word for most of the ad, even a native speaker is gonna think "they want me to die how?" it keeps getting funnier.
