Dutch Shepherds – A Glimpse into the Rare and Versatile Breed

Dutch Shepherd, a rare and beautiful breed of dog, was recently introduced to Indian dog owners. This breed is a close relative to the German Shepherd Dog (GSD) and the Belgian Shepherd Dog (GSD). It is rapidly gaining popularity in its second stage of life. The Dutch Shepherd, one of my favourite breeds, is one of very few breeds that has survived extinction and revival over many years. This process is still ongoing today.

Along with some other patrons, I introduced Dutch Shepherds in India. I was responsible to bring in four of the KNPV-Dutch Police Dog Program's formative dogs to India. Together with a few friends, we now have nearly 10 founding dogs who were brought to India. We have less than 20 progeny out of them and are still in the early stages of developing this breed.

The Dutch Shepherd is a beloved breed that has attracted the attention of many people, including Preity Zinta and MS Dhoni. It is an almost complete breed, with less recognition, as it checks in all points for me, whether it be looks, temperament, fitness, health, or temperament.

The International Police, Military, and Special Forces consider the Dutch Shepherd to be the best breed. We will likely soon deploy some of our Dutchies to the Indian defense forces and private security.

Histories

The history of the 'Dutchie’ is fascinating and will interest any dog lover. The Dutch affectionately call the dog 'Herder' because the Dutch referred to the original dogs as they closely resembled their Belgian or German counterparts. The standard herding companion who could also be used to pull carts and protect the flock.

The Dutch farmers love it. In 1898, the Dutch Shepherd was officially recognized as an official breed.

This breed was extinct after the First World War, and there were very few Dutchies left in Holland. This breed has been difficult to reintroduce over the years. Fans of 'Herders" would not hesitate to introduce GSD and Malinois blood to the breeding program in order diversify the gene pool.

FCI has approximately 2000-2500 Dutch Shepherds. They are willing to accept pure breeding from brindleherders.

The KNPV program of Dutch Police is likely to have many more Dutchies. They will accept Malinois as long as they have the right nerves, drive and temperament.

The current trend is to have the Dutch Shepherds be considered Dutch, while the solid-coloured Malinois would be considered Dutch. This is the view of KNPV breeders and trainers, while the FCI 'purists’ would disagree.

Appearance

The Dutch Shepherd is large and muscular, and has a great appearance. The structure is generally well-squared. The body length to height ratio should be approximately 10:9 according to the breed standard.

They are usually between 25-32 kg in weight. However, there are some large specimens in KNPV because of the variety of genes from different breeds. A few weigh between 45-60 kg, according to me. These giant Dutchies may not be considered standard, but they can be a valuable addition to the elite protection dogs clients.

Their height is between 22 and 25 inches at their withers. However, some may be larger. This breed is very rare.

Three types of Dutch shepherd coat are available to the dog owner:

Short-haired: This is the most popular and most desired of all three varieties. It has a similar coat to the Malinois. They don't require any special grooming and are therefore easy to manage in military and defense forces.

Long-haired Dutchie: This breed is more common with herding dog handlers. In terms of length, this dog is similar to the GSD and Belgian Tervuren. The breeders who produce long-haired dogs are few, and occasionally a puppy may be born with a recessive gene.

The Wire Haired: This breed is slowly rising in popularity and attention. It is a rough-looking breed that some people think looks like a wolf, while others compare it to the Beauceron. Some wire-haired Dutchies are employed in professional security roles.

Temperament

Their charming temperament is one of the reasons I love Dutchies. The Dutch shepherd is an energetic, high-energy dog with unending stamina. Their athleticism allows them to accomplish remarkable feats and challenges that most other dog breeds can't physiologically match.

The dog is balanced and has an on/off switch that allows them to interact with humans. They are loyal to their pack and their trainer.

They are highly intelligent and alert, making them the ideal breed to protect and guard the home and family after a long day of work. They are not easily tired and will always stand up for their family when needed.

This breed has one of the highest prey drives. It is an excellent dog for experienced handlers. However, novice handlers might find it difficult to manage at times.

They are very social and flexible for their temperament. If they are raised from the beginning, they will be able to adjust easily with other dogs and children. As long as the family takes care of their needs, they can adapt to any living environment.

Health

A favorite aspect of this breed that I love is their health, which could easily be considered one of the top ten breeds in the world. The Dutchie, like my Malinois is another breed I seldom need to take to the vet for routine visits or vaccinations.

The likelihood of this breed developing genetic diseases is very low. It has a chance of catching allergies, myopathy, and other issues. The possibility of hip and elbow dysplasia cropping up is also very low. This may be due to the German Shepherd Dogs that were used in the past to revive them.

Based on my experience with working breeds, there is an important point to remember. It is important to provide the dog with the proper training and exercise throughout their lives. This will greatly impact their health and lifestyle.

These dogs become less active and have a duller coat. This can lead to health problems.

A happy, healthy dog is one that's active and well-behaved.

Grooming

Dutch Shepherd Dogs are a wonderful dog for dog owners who don't have the time to groom their dog. This breed is easy to handle, and they would do fine even if we only brush them twice or three times a week.

However, the wire-haired or longer haired varieties would require more frequent exercise.

Due to their low exercise requirements, the Dutchies with shorter hair are more popular among security and defense forces.

Working Dutchies will need to have their nails filed during activity. However, we must be careful about keeping track of their nail length and condition so that they can keep their paws in good condition. It is vital to keep your dog safe from injury. Nails that are too long or ingrown could cause them to become infected.

Exercise

Their exercise needs are one of the most important aspects of living with a Dutch Shepherd, a highly-skilled working breed. These dogs can become neurotic and have severe behavioral problems if they are not exercised and stimulated mentally and physically. They can also leap very high so it is easy to get out of a kennel.

It is crucial to care for the dog's bones and muscles in their early years. Multiple short sessions of exercise and different types of exercise are better than one exhausting and tedious one. This can hinder the dog's growth, motivation, and overall fitness.

If trained to be a peaceful companion, the Dutchie can make a great running or cycling partner. If their prey drive isn't properly channeled from an early age, they can be dangerous with cyclists or runners.

The Dutchies love tug-and-bite, so this would be a great exercise for them. This game is great for both young pups and those who are still in their teething period. Before engaging in such activities, it is a good idea to seek professional guidance. Once they start to train for protection, the tug and bite pillows games are very beneficial. Regular tug sessions in various environments will increase the dog's ability to bite and take pressure.

The Dutch Shepherd is a versatile dog that can be trained to guard, track, sniff, detect, herd, pull carts, and perform other advanced tasks. I recommend that you have done your research on a trusted trainer who has a track record of successfully training these breeds before you consider purchasing a puppy. A Dutchie that is stable and well socialized early on will be able to appreciate the benefits of sights, sounds, smells, and sounds. Who Was the First Disney Character?

The first Disney animated feature was Snow White. It was inspired by the character of the same name from several European fairy tales, particularly the German/Bavarian version by the Brothers Grimm. Since then, Snow White has been a Disney princess mainstay. While some modern critics and fans have argued that she is rather boring and not as courageous as later princesses, Snow White remains a classic character that inspires others. Snow White is also the first fictional character to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Pete

In the 1950s, Disney started producing television series and full-length films. The cat became a more minor character, but he continued to appear in some of Disney's productions. He was even featured in the opening sequence of the Mickey Mouse Club. Despite his relatively short lifespan, Pete has also been portrayed as a bully.

Originally, Pete was intended to be a villain. Mickey's adventures often include conflicts between him and the short-tempered Pete. In 1928, Pete first appeared in Steamboat Willie, where he acted as the hot-tempered captain of a ship. The character was meant to be an antagonist for Mickey.

Despite being a recurring character, Pete has undergone several changes over the years. In 1992, he was given a family. He had a wife named Peg and a son named Pete Jr. He was often the antagonist in the show, allowing Goofy to make fun of him. His wife Peg, as well as his daughter Pistol, were also given names, as they were named after their respective peg-legs.

As a child, Pete had a difficult relationship with his cousin Goofy, a cheerleading squad member. Goofy had accidentally caused Pete to fumble the ball in a big football game, making him lose the game. Later, Pete starred in two Goofy movies. However, he remained grouchy.

Pete appeared in Mickey's Christmas Carol as the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. Upon revealing his identity, Pete reveals himself by taking off his hood. His role as the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come has one line in the movie, when he laughs cruelly at Scrooge's escaping from the grave.

Oswald

The character was the first Disney character to undergo a personality animation process. This was done to help the animated character express his personality traits. Oswald was inspired by adventure and humor and he used frustration comedy and situational humor to resolve problems. Despite his mischievous ways, he had a moral compass and a strong personality.

In addition to the film, Oswald has appeared in a number of other Disney projects. He has a video game based on his adventures, appears in comic books, and has even met guests at the Disneyland Resort. Many Disney fans have also wanted to see a new animated series based on Oswald. Recently, director Matt Danner revealed on his social media accounts that Disney was considering creating an Oswald animated series.

The first Disney animated feature film based on Oswald was released on September 5, 1927. The film, Trolley Troubles, featured Oswald driving a streetcar filled with rabbit children. The film was successful and Disney hired 22 animators to continue producing more films. In fact, this movie helped kickstart the Disney Animation Studios. Oswald's success encouraged them to begin licensing their characters for commercial purposes. It also led to the creation of Oswald-branded candy bars.

Apart from the Disney animated films, Oswald has also appeared in the video games and is an animated character with an interesting name. The word "Oswald" is used as an alliterative term, so the name "Oswald" is also a pun on "Oswald the Duck."

Pocahontas

The first film is set in the year 1616. The Indians have been conquered by the English. This war is caused by the enslavement of Native Americans by the English. The English were in the midst of the Powhatan Revolution and were fighting over lands. However, in the first film, the Powhatan chief was not killed in the war. As a result, the English had been forced to settle in Virginia.

Pocahontas is a fictional character from the Disney animated film "Tangled". She is the daughter of Chief Powhatan, the leader of a Native American tribe in Virginia. She forms a forbidden friendship with the English settler John Smith and is motivated by love to reconcile the two worlds. The film has been called "The Happiest Princess in the World" by the American Film Critics Association.

The film was released between June 16 and June 23, 1995. It was timed to coincide with the 400th birthday of the Native American princess. Although the exact date of her birth is unknown, it is believed that Pocahontas was born around 1595. Her death is believed to have happened at the age of twenty.

The movie marked a cultural milestone for Disney. It was the first Disney character to be voiced by a non-white woman. Irene Bedard was the first actress of color to voice the character. Linda Larkin had previously portrayed Jasmine.

Jasmine

The original story concept of Jasmine said that Jasmine must be married by her sixteenth birthday, but Jeffrey Katzenberg was concerned that the line might send the wrong message. So he changed the line to "married to a prince by your next birthday." Then, in 1990, Linda Larkin was cast as Jasmine.

Jasmine was also the first non-white Disney princess. Previously, all Disney princesses had been white and European. By portraying a non-white princess, Jasmine introduced a new cultural element in Disney films. Her unique personality allowed her to stand on her own two feet and resist a marriage she did not want. The storyline and character portrayal of this non-Caucasian princess has inspired many young girls, as well as adults.

Jasmine was the first Disney character to voice opposition to her role as a princess. Other Disney princesses never questioned their status or the fact that they are princesses. However, Jasmine tries to contribute to Agrabah without flaunting her status. Jasmine volunteers in hospitals and schools, despite her royal position.

Jasmine is the daughter of the Sultan of Agrabah. She lives in a lavish palace and has a loyal pet tiger, Rajah. Rajah was a gift from her mother and is her faithful companion. When Jasmine is longing for her mother, she sits outside her palace and stares at the stars. She eventually meets Aladdin and learns about the wonders outside of the palace walls.

Jasmine wears a purple dress for formal occasions. The dress covers most of Jasmine's body, from her shoulders to her feet. She wears a sapphire belt and a transparent pink veil. She also wears gold earrings.

Elena of Avalor

After saving the kingdom from a threat, Elena and her friends and family arrive at the castle. Elena is excited about being crowned Queen, but Francisco informs her that she is too young to be queen yet. Instead, she will rule along with the Grand Council. She is later crowned Queen of Avalor.

As the story progresses, Elena gathers the Citizens of Avalor and marches to the castle. She is accompanied by her mother, her grandmother and her guards. As they approach the castle, Elena defeats the evil king, Shuriki. As a result, the two of them defeat Ash, who plans to use the Four Shades of Awesome to conquer Avalor.

Throughout the film, Elena is given an amulet and a scepter of light by her father. These items are ancient Maruvian treasures that she can use to cast spells. The Scepter of Light can conjure up various magical powers, while the Amulet of Avalor has a wide range of abilities. Both of these magical items will protect the bearer.

Elena of Avalor is a spin-off from the hit Disney Junior show Sofia the First. The show stars Aimee Carrero as Elena, a princess who was entrapped in an amulet for 41 years. The show also includes original musical numbers.

The original Elena of Avalor animated series premiered in July, and the show has become a huge hit since. The character was inspired by diverse Latin cultures and is the first Latina Disney princess. Elena's eponymous TV show follows her journey from a young girl to a young woman becoming the ruler of Avalor.

Tiana

The upcoming movie based on Tiana features a stunning, stylized version of the character, who is dressed in 1920s-inspired clothing. As she dashes across the bow of her ship, magical reflections dance by her feet. This preview of the film hints at the new adventures that await Tiana.

Tiana's role in the movie is unique. The movie is set in the 1920s in New Orleans, and the story begins with a young black waitress, Tiana, saving money for a restaurant. Charlotte La Bouff, a wealthy white Southern belle, is Tiana's best friend. Her best friend is Charlotte La Bouff, a white Southern belle, who is also excited about the upcoming Prince Naveen of Maldonia attending her ball.

Disney changed some key elements of the movie to make it more inclusive. One major change was the character's name. It was originally called Maddy, but it was later changed to Tiana after public criticism. The original name sounded too similar to "Mammy" and was considered a slave name. 💛Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.

Also keep a look out for an old black sedan with California plate 4wky250 or 4wky750. With yellow ribbon magnet on the back of his car. He is a caucasian guy with sparse black facial hair. I was walking around with one of my dogs before work on 06/22/2021 early Tuesday morning. Something told me to hide behind the car on the sidewalk & literally 2 seconds later crazy guy sped by towards me around Morninglory Drive & made a U-turn & yelled at me “F*ck you Stupid Asian, die!”

Then I started yelling at him because he probably assumed I didn’t know any english & that I’m an American who was born in Nevada.

When I yelled at him, that’s when he finally drove away & stopped parking a bit ahead of me. I know for sure he does not live on my street nor MorningGlory. I don’t live on Morninglory, but I did walk on the big street of O’Callaghan but I hope he was just a random person & hope he was not related or friends to any of my neighbors we had conflict with in the past. Please always watch out for each other whether you like me or not, whether you know me well or not.

Well at least I got his license plate better than nothing. Good thing I always try to trust my instincts/follow my gut-never listens to what others think about the situation, because they’re obviously wrong & I had no idea within 2 seconds hiding behind the car on the sidewalk that would actually happen. Didn’t know that would happen.

Before that happened, I seriously heard some footsteps running coming from that same direction but I turned to see in that direction & there was nobody & then that’s when something told me to hide behind the car parked on the sidewalk, literally 2 seconds later crazy guy did that to me. Highly suspect he could’ve most likely might have had a gun.

Everyone, watch out & try to be extra cautious. Obviously this city/state as well as in any state now is not as safe as it used to be like when I was a kid in Nevada, watch your kids, elders, people of different race/nationality/ethnicity,other people,etc. Help others in anyway with any information that may be helpful.

Anyways, I think those footsteps I heard were from angels trying to warn me that a demon was coming for me. I believe this is very significant. Still gives me chills. ✝️🙏God is so real; never doubted it. Literally helped me several times in my life for years😭. I’m not acting & never make up stuff about anything because I literally have no time for bullsh*t. I actually have a life. 👊🏼

Anyways, ran 3 miles (not 5 this time) with my dogs this morning, biked outdoors a bit & skateboarded a bit. Also today noticed an idiot with a white sedan with California plate drive up in front of my neighbors house & they poured some kind of orange juice on the street near their property (they have a yellow house too), grr! Wish I got their license plate. Maybe those idiots mistaken me that I live there or maybe it was just completely random target, who knows? I’m just worried. Highly suspected some of these people doing this to me might be a part of a gang & coincidentally almost always has been California plates. I’m also really pissed because someone made scratches on my dad’s car! Grr! Get a life people!! 🔥

Grr also while I was skateboarding today a Silver SUV (NOT living on my street because I saw their face) they yelled at me “Get out of my city!” Excuse me, I’m the one ORIGINALLY from Nevada! You get out of my city, dumb low lives who happen to be kids yelling that out their car normal Nevada Plate. Didn’t get their plate number feeling so helpless sometimes while I’m just living my best life, exercising/stress reliever, & trying to get some fresh air & have a bit of fun. I’m only out for like less than an hour, don’t disturb me or anyone & just get a life & shut up!

It also reminds me when an idiot/more than one in my neighborhood gave me death threats by phone & yelled “Die Japanese Asian!” Around & way before December 2020-January 2021 In front of my house caught on my camera. First of all, I’m NOT EVEN Japanese!

Anyway it’s still offensive either way (it’s also obviously a type of hate crime/disturbing my peace & disorderly conduct & everyone-teach your kids to never say “Die!” Or call anyone “ugly!” to anyone! People will have their opinions of others but never call anyone “ugly!” I am definitely not ugly, but people will have opinions & I am definitely not a low life.

People who say, “die!” Or call people “ugly!” you are obviously NOT cool so shut the f*ck up! Get a life! Those low lives will end up in jail in the future ,they will definitely not go far in life, & I could already see them in jail! Never let your kid or family member say any of that to anyone! Low lives are truly losers! I’m obviously not a loser like the low lives are. I am never the one to ever pick up fights or start drama with anyone so shut up & get a life, don’t bug me in anyway!

Also to the low life kids who said they thought I have no friends & called me “ugly” & a “retard”- you guys are so pathetic-just because I like to walk or run alone with my dogs does not mean I have no friends. I’ve always had friends in every grade of my life (even though I was sometimes shy) whether in the same school as me or not & my elementary school I went to was NOT Zoned here in my neighborhood & a couple of close best friends of different ethnicities White, Indian, American Hispanic American, Asian American, Etc for 16+ years! I’ve literally never been bullied by anyone until around 2017 & a little before 2016 my senior year of college. The people who bullied me were always all from my neighborhood.

People actually know me well, like or love me. I have friends in all walks of life whether they are close or just casual. How dare you little low life kids say that to me. Pathetic! Get a life! I’m in my twenties I don’t need to be holding hands with a friend every day of my life. I’m independent & friends text/facetime me weekly or I text them to catch up with life weekly.

People who pick up fights with other people or bully others are obviously considered low lives & I am obviously not a low life like they are. To all the low lives out there-you will never go far in life & I’m telling you the truth. You calling me things are not the truth but I do know that the idiots who have affected me in life in anyway are just low lives & obviously not cool. I’m way cooler than you! You will never be as awesome as me! You will always be below me & you don’t deserve any response from me because I will always be above the low lives. Everyone, teach your kids never to be friends with a bully-they are never worth your time & does NOT make you cool in anyway & that is 100% truth. 👊🏼

I’m a proud American born in Northern Nevada, proud to be Chinese with French/German/Ashkenazi Jewish/Native American heritage blood, etc. I look very Asian on the outside but the funny thing is I have 0% Japanese, 0% Fillipino, 0% Korean & me & my older sister actually have French & German blood & we don’t look French or German on the outside so to everyone, stop judging others by how they look on the outside! Stop being quick to judge us! It’s ignorant & makes you look so uneducated!

Never judge anyone if you don’t know the full story! I’m so thankful I didn’t grow up with lowlives nor had any low life friends nor low life family members in my life. All of the harassments started in 2017. Never had any type of stuff happen to me until recent years. Again I was Nevada born & raised & family lived in Nevada for 42 (forty-two years).

To SOME out of staters (not all) you are a big problem in my life so if you caused me problems in life in anyway I hope you all burn in hell very soon & those who are out of state living in Nevada who have never messed with me in anyway, I’m obviously not talking about you. 💙
