thinking about the twinyards first summer in South Carolina and how they both talk big game bc it gets plenty hot in California too, and Nicky nods along and buys extra ice cream and fans anyway. the twins refuse to go back on their word but Nicky watches them both make sure to always sit where the fan will hit them, he watches how fast the ice cream is depleted as they tear through it twice as fast as normal. he makes sure to be discreet as he drops water bottles next to them frequently because he knew they would underestimate exactly how hard the humidity would hit them and he knows their prides won't let them ask for it.

Hank Aaron grew up poor, and his family could not afford baseball equipment, so he practiced by hitting bottle caps with sticks. He would create his own bats and balls out of materials he found on the streets. His boyhood idol was baseball star Jackie Robinson.

Henry Louis Aaron ('Hammer' or "Hammerin' Hank") was born on February 5, 1934, in Mobile, Alabama, and died on January 22, 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 86.

Some quick notes:

Nadim Naaman is the Phantom.

There are FIVE Christine’s listed: Georgia Wilkinson, Bridget Costello, Harriet Jones are listed as principal, Jessica Hackett and Grace Chapman are the understudies. I don’t know if/when Harriet will actually be joining.

Jessica is also covering Carlotta, which makes her one of the few actresses to cover both Christine and Carlotta at the same time.

Dougie Carter is Raoul; he was previously u/s Phantom in Greece.

Arvid Larsen, who has played Andre in a few productions now, continues as Andre and is also understudying the Phantom.

Aaron Price-Lewis is Buquet and understudies the Phantom.

As previously announced, Nikki Skinner is Meg.

Rebecca Ridout, who was in the London ensemble, will be a cover Carlotta.

Daniel Holley and Michael Franks understudy Raoul.
