I know there's a lot of debate about the Stans' age, and personally I've calculated it as 62, so Shermie would have had to have His Son(Dip+Mab Dad) at 16 and then the twins were born when their parents were 18 or vice versa. To me, I like the thought that Shermie didn't escape Filbrick's bad parenting and got a girl pregnant as a teenager and his son only managed to be slightly better and married the mother of his children only for their marriage to not work out. George Knightley is THE Austen Hero. He is kind, compassionate, never condescends. He is so nice that not once, but TWICE, he is mistaken for being in love when he's not. He may be strict and rational, but he isn't cold. He plays with his nieces and nephews and helps keep the peace between family members. He calls Emma out, but only because he wants to help her be the best possible version of herself. He moves into Hartfield at the end, something completely unheard of in those days, because he knows Emma would never leave her father and he would never ask her to.

A massive problem I have with the writers of HOTD is they are not following GRRM writings. GRRM has said he doesn’t want a black and white story, there is not good guy in his story.

To frame one side as the better is the wrong interpretation of his writings and showcases how misunderstood his story telling is by the writers of HOTD.

Considering the writer himself has said that blood and cheese was green propaganda says the bias he already has for the other side.

Anakin stans can be so strange sometimes. Don't they know the whole point of his story is a cautionary tale about selfishness, hubris, greed and lust for power? And that he ultimately made his own choices, to go down those paths?

Yes, he had many good qualities, and his past is very tragic, and he was living through some really traumatic situations, but Anakin's fall was still down to him making a terrible choice based on his own greed and refusal to accept the circle of life, as it were. He's not a poor pitiful baby angel that got a raw deal because of those wicked tricksy false Jedi, nor was he entirely a helpless victim of Palpatine's gaslighting.

Anakin had countless opportunities to question the poison Palps was pumping into his brain, but he chose not to.... because deep down, he loved the taste of that poison; it fed his ego and validated his own victim complex, that he used to rationalize being belligerent to his Jedi master and peers, who were showing him absolutely saint-like patience despite some of his actions.

Anakin Skywalker is no doubt a compelling, tragic figure who indeed had a noble and heroic side that we can mourn the loss of, upon his transformation into Vader. But the whole crux of the character is that his flaws were so toxic, and the way he chose to handle them was so counterproductive and self-destructive, that he created his own special hell that he would burn in for the rest of his life. THAT'S the epic tragedy of Anakin Skywalker.

You can love him as a character for how complex and tortured and fallible he is, but to paint him as almost entirely a victim of outside forces that destroyed his life and pushed him down a path of evil.... so profoundly misses the point of what George Lucas was trying to say about human nature, and how even a pure-hearted kid can one day turn into a pitiless fascist, if he refuses to straighten his shit out.

So many people purposely fail to understand that Jaehaera's death is necessary to the plot and message of GRRM. The line of usurpers must be exterminated, it is the karmic punishment of the Greens. She even gets killed by a direct member of this team it seems to me, which makes the message all the clearer. But obviously, everyone who is against the death of this little girl simply thinks that both sides were in the same wrong and that the forgiveness of the two lines must be done through the lasting marriage of Aegon III and Jaehaera. What bullshit. The Greens were the villains. That's all. It's that simple. They were not on the same level as the Blacks. We are not in a story where each Team is equal and where the sins (being apparently all on the same level) committed by their parents / families, will be forgotten, redeemed and forgiven through the union of their children. Hell, it's not a story of enemy clans that is resolved by marriage between the descendants of the two families. Is it crazy that so many geks don't understand this ?!

We were clearly given an understanding in season 2, for whom this show is written and filmed. After GRRM's posts, I don't believe in season 3. The fact that Helaena dies unjustifiably in season 3, that her character will never be revealed, shows how talentless the writers are.

The writers deliberately didn't emphasize the trauma that TB inflicted on Helaena. Helaena didn't lose her mind and I hoped that she would be given a more significant role than in the book, I even hoped that she would survive the Dance. I believed that she could become a Greenseer.

In the second season, I expected Helaena to be crowned. But instead, we watched as Daemon smeared snot all over his face, as Alicent bathed in a puddle, and as Rhaenyra once again whined that she wasn't born a man and couldn't fight with swords (What stopped her from asking her beloved Strong to teach her how to fight with swords? If only she wanted to)

Arya and Sansa’s relationship is only normal if your older sister’s boyfriend tried to murder you and got your friend killed and she decided it was all your fault because she thinks you exist to ruin her life lmao

Like it’s so dumb that the Stark girls’ tense relationship is reduced to Sansa calling Arya ugly and not a single mention of the Trident incident and all the moments afterwards. That’s where the actual complication comes in! And it’s in Sansa’s very first chapter no less!

Sansa disregarding Joffrey’s violence towards Arya because she’s predisposed to think of her little sister as a lesser person who deserved his wrath is an important part of the plot, babes. Her being able to ignore Arya’s pain is quite literally why she still thinks of Joffrey as her sweet prince right up until her dad’s head got chopped

Why are we asked to not comprehend both girls’ chapters just because it makes your fave look bad 😭
