Crossing the streets of Saigon is definitely a skill set, you will learn fast. Here are some quick tips: 1) cross at the traffic lights, when possible 2) even at the crossing, watch out for any renegade motorbike on the sidewalk or going against the grain 3) cross with a group, remember safety in numbers And most importantly, 4) walk confidently at a steady pace, and the motorbikes will work around you! I love ghost towns and was very excited when I finally saw Bodie. It was very cold when I got there last winter. My boyfriend opted to stay in the car. I enjoyed it as long as I could handle the chill. I went #hiking on the Ray Miller Trail in Pt. Mugu. It was already hot in the city when @brian.k.spence and I headed off in the morning, but was pleasant and foggy when we neared our hike. Pt. Mugu overlooks the ocean, so you get beautiful views of the hills and the mighty Pacific. The trail we took was a steady and moderate incline, but not too much. I wanted to keep walking, but my shoes are not the right size and make my feet hurt, so we did about 5.5 miles in the end. We walked to the top of a hill to eat our @traderjoes wraps, where we were treated to some breakout sun and butterflies. There were a few others on this trail, but it wasn't bad at all.
