could i please request sampo and you choose who else with a dog and human hybrid reader that lives with the character? the reader would have stuff like a cage, squeaky toys, and can the fic just explore what it's like domestically for a night with the character?

It had been a long day filled with the usual mischief and deals, but tonight was different. Sampo had returned to his quarters, exhausted but still smiling that signature grin of his. His place was cozy, if not a little cluttered with trinkets and oddities collected from both the Overworld and the Underworld. You, his dog-human hybrid companion, greeted him at the door with an enthusiastic tail wag and a playful bark.
Sampo laughed softly, ruffling your hair as you jumped excitedly. "Well, well, if it isn’t my favorite little troublemaker," he teased, his voice smooth and full of affection. "You’ve been a good one today, haven’t you?"
You barked in response, spinning in a circle as he set his jacket down. There was a familiar jingle as your squeaky toy caught his eye, lying on the floor just beside your small cage—your space, your sanctuary. Sampo had always made sure you had a place to call your own, even though you often preferred to curl up at his feet while he worked.
He flopped onto the couch with a sigh, watching you eagerly as you brought the squeaky toy to him, offering it up like a gift. Sampo smirked, taking the toy and giving it a small squeeze. The squeaking noise filled the room, causing you to jump and bark with delight.
"You always know how to make a man smile, don't you?" he said, his tone light, but there was a subtle warmth behind it.
Despite your playful nature, you could tell Sampo’s mind was still buzzing with his latest dealings. He often hid his true feelings, but you knew him well enough by now to sense when he was burdened by something. You gave him a gentle nudge with your head, your eyes full of concern.
Sampo chuckled softly and leaned back against the couch, resting his hand on your head. "Don’t worry about me, little one. I’m always one step ahead," he reassured, though you didn’t quite buy it.
Later that evening, he threw a blanket over the two of you, as you curled up next to him. Your cage remained open, but it was clear you preferred this quiet moment, lying beside him. Sampo smirked, his usual sly grin softened by the comfort of your company. "You know, sometimes I think you’re the one keeping me grounded," he murmured, though his words were almost too quiet to hear over the sound of your contented breathing.

Aventurine was not the type to show weakness, but there was something about you—a human-dog hybrid—that brought out a gentler side of him. His evening began as it always did, with a reflection on his strategic decisions and the game he was playing with the universe. However, tonight was different. He had a rare quiet moment to himself, with you curled up at his feet as he relaxed on his chaise lounge, the flickering of candlelight casting long shadows in the room.
You had a way of making the atmosphere feel less tense, your presence offering a comfort he hadn’t realized he needed. Every now and then, you’d let out a small whimper, nudging his hand with your snout. Aventurine smirked, adjusting his blazer, before leaning down to pet you, fingers running through your fur with practiced care. "A little restless tonight, are we?" he mused.
You responded with a soft whine, your tail wagging slightly as you brought a squeaky toy to his feet. Aventurine raised an eyebrow, intrigued but not particularly surprised by your antics. "I suppose you’re in the mood for some amusement, then," he chuckled, the glint in his eyes never faltering.
As he squeezed the toy, the squeak echoed through the room, and you immediately pounced, trying to catch it with the speed of a predator, your eyes glowing with playful determination. His soft laughter was a rare sound—something that came not from manipulation or strategic amusement but genuine enjoyment. "Such energy," he remarked, shaking his head with a smile that never reached his eyes. "You’re a handful, you know that?"
Later, as the evening deepened, Aventurine reclined on his chair, hands behind his head. You, having tired yourself out from your playful antics, curled up at his feet, letting out a soft sigh as you made yourself comfortable. He glanced down at you, his expression shifting slightly.
"Sometimes I forget how simple life can be," he muttered, almost to himself. His fingers brushed against the delicate band of his wrist, his thoughts drifting before returning to you, curled so contentedly by his side. "You always know how to make the chaos of the world feel far less
 chaotic."
Aventurine stretched, standing up to gaze out the window for a moment, and when he turned back, his gaze softened, the ruthless strategist giving way to something gentler, a hint of fondness in his eyes. "Don’t get too comfortable," he added, his tone laced with teasing, "but I suppose I’ll allow you this one night of peace."
The night passed quietly, with you curled up by his feet, and Aventurine content in the subtle companionship you offered. For once, the world outside seemed far less important, and the games of life seemed a little easier to bear with your presence.

Turtle Takedown Teamwork.
[First] Prev <–-> Next
#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#wei wuxian#lan wangji#tulu xuanwu#Something about changing the action sequence to something gentle is hilarious to me.#The lesson here is “Be nice to turtles. They are gentle creatures. And many are very endangered.”#don't get me wrong here; I love this scene a lot. LWJ's string technique is one of my favoyrite things.#We do get a fair amount of LWJ fighting but I always loved how the theme of strings comes into play.#There is actually a lot to unpack with LWJ being associate with 'strings'.#The musicianship: Of dedication and rigor in one's practice.#The tension between following along a path or composing your own way forwards (playing what has been written vs composing)#A string is a tightly coiled/taunt entity; The same tension that makes it sing so beautifully can be it's downfall if pushed too hard.#And as a non-musical string - something that binds. Be it to his sect and family or how he binds his fate to WWX -#LWJ cannot exist without his binds. It is not something which ties him down though. It keeps him together.#And he himself *is* a bind. He 'ties wwx down' in ways that are initially negatively viewed ('come to gusu' - feels like: come be trapped)#But later it is shown how (despite being introduced as a free spirit) WWX truly wants to be bound to something and someone.#Marriage is a bind he wants. He wants to be tied and grounded by LWJ.#It's starting to sound like innuendo. Let's call his fondness for being literally tied up smart thematic writing.#Finally. Sex scenes that are important to the plot and characters

How are you doin’?
Out of all the Medic ships what is by far your go to you do without realizing the most?
I jus’ came across this blog and omg you draw Medic so like its so cool man 🙏, your art is so scrumptious I’m gonna consume it
thank you anon. i hope my art is tasty lol.
i have a lot of medic ship stuff on the back burner, in both art and fanfic (a lot of fanfic, actually). but i think the one i go to the most is spymedic. i think this ship can easily be silly and spicy and heartbreaking and so on.
hopefully i get to show more of this ship this year, but i'll leave you with this old ass sketch featuring tentaspy.

It's actually fucking crazy how most of the league of villains are dead
I'll be honest, when Tomura died, I was very sad but I also thought that, narratively, if at least one of the other main villains were alive, preferably Toga or Dabi (because they are the only other two who have had more time invested in them by their heroes prior to the final war arc. thought was actually put into who they are as people), then the theme about everyone being saved including the villains who may need it can still mean something. Even with Tomura dead, something can still come from this
But then it was revealed Toga is dead. And then Dabi died too. Well, shit. Do we have any other villains left who can still make up the theme of "villains can be saved too"? Hmmm, let's see. Twice is dead. Kurogiri is dead. Stain is dead. Spinner is alive! Oh but there's no actual redemption for him and he's writing a book about the League's legacy. And maybe there's some hope there because he wished Shouji good luck, but, again, last we saw him he was in police custody, which doesn't really say anything good. Aaand Compress is in jail. Amazing (/sarcasm)
Actually, the only villains who could still carry along the theme of "everyone can be saved (villains too)" are Lady Nagant, Gentle Criminal and La Brava. They had redemption arcs and were somewhat saved by a hero, or at least they have a connection to him, and they survive until the end of the story
However, these are characters we don't know as well, aren't as relatable and don't show up continously like the League did. If you like these characters, that's great, but as characters who really only show up TWICE in the whole 430 chapter story (and remember, prior to the final war arc, they had only shown up once. ONCE. before being put aside for the end), it isn't as hard-hitting as it would have been with the League, and for a story like this that hinges on the implication of "but what about the villains who should be given the chance to have someone reach out and save them?", with an already full cast of main villains who absolutely had the narrative opportunity to be saved being killed off or imprisoned, it just doesn't. land well
Honestly it would have been all good and fine if these 3 were the only ones left to be saved, if they had had more appearances rather than just being one-arc opponents. Genuinely, if they had shown up more and had a bit more depth and insight into their characters or connections with the mc, I would have accepted it. Albeit sadly, since the lov would still be dead and I loved them, but I would still think "at least the theme still has meaning to it. at least there are still some villains who did get that redemption and tied it all in with reaching out for people who need it"
But that's not the case. With only having one other appearance before their last ones in the final war, in connection to the theme, it's just. weak. It's handled weakly, imo. Especially when, yknow, you kill off or put away most of the villains who could have been saved
And, actually, let's talk further about this. Because even though Lady Nagant is somewhat saved, survives and helps out the mc, she doesn't offer a good message at the end of the story. It's quite a shaky message tbh. To paraphrase, she basically says "I know I have the choice to go back into society now but honestly I don't trust it's not gonna be the same way it was again so I'm choosing to stay in jail and see what happens.". Which. I mean I guess it's something, in the face of her whole "AFO is bad but at least he means what he says" thing from before, at least now there's the implication that she's gonna wait to see how things go instead of jumping to work for a supervillain now that she has free choice again, but when the ending of your story is "things are going in the right direction" and you choose to have one of the only surviving villains who follows one of your themes stay in jail instead of returning to society or even just not living in jail but still watching what happens from afar is very. weird
And though it's a weird decision, I think the thing that would have made me feel better about it is seeing her out of jail in the future. At least just one panel of her, maybe somewhere in the background walking around the city or something. It would have made sense for her to initially be like "I'm nervous about the future and how things could change or not change at all" and then have her free in the outside world, showing that she overcame that fear of being used again after seeing how things supposedly changed. I get that this is probably something that's supposed to be left up to interpretation, but as a villain who actually made it and connected with one of the heroes, I think it would have meant something for her character, for what the heroes were trying (or saying they were trying) to achieve
Which leaves us with Gentle Criminal and La Brava. On the whole, these two are the only villains who get a redemption arc, survive the story and clearly go on to live their lives happily in society
And again, this would have been great if we had gotten more time with them. It would have been great if we had actually seen more of what their lives were like after the war, building their new business together instead of returning to villainy, instead of just having One (1) panel to show us they're alive. It would have been great if we didn't just have most of the villains, who we had more time with, who were pretty sympathetic (not that Gentle and Brava didn't have their moments but still) killed off or imprisoned without any deeper thought. But that's not the case, so it just sort of falls flat for me
Unless you're a Gentle and Brava stan and shipper, in which case congratulations. I like them too, they're cute! But it is insane to me, given everything
So I mean. Yeah. The only villains who really make it, who really add anything to the theme of "everyone can be saved even villains who may need help", are Gentle Criminal and La Brava
Tumblr media
(and Nagant if we're giving the benefit of the doubt to the weird decision of her panels in jail being the last time we ever see her. I'm aware she's in prison just like Compress and such, but at least she has a choice whether she stays or goes, meaning she may get out in the future of her own will thanks to Hawks)

Sunday had always carried himself with an air of calm detachment, but tonight, in the quiet stillness of the Astral Express, there was something different in his demeanor. The weight he usually bore with stoic grace seemed to dissolve, leaving only a man—flawed, yearning, and far too human.
The private quarters were dimly lit, the golden glow of his halo casting shifting shadows on the walls. You stood before him, uncertain but unable to look away as his gaze—those irises marked by navy pupils—lingered on you with a rare intensity. His wings twitched, feathers ruffling slightly, betraying the emotions he fought to contain.
“You don’t have to stay,” he murmured, his voice low and soft, like a breeze carrying secrets. But even as he said it, his hand lingered at your wrist, his thumb brushing against your pulse.
“And leave you like this?” you whispered, tilting your head. “Sunday
 I want to stay.”
His composure faltered, and for a moment, the mask slipped. His lips parted as if to protest, but the words died before they could form. Instead, he took a slow step closer, the soft fabric of his scarf brushing against you as his proximity stole the air between you both.
“Then let me be selfish,” he said, the words trembling on the edge of a plea.
His hands cupped your face with a tenderness that felt almost reverent, his touch as light as the flutter of his wings. When his lips met yours, it was hesitant at first, like a man unsure if he deserved this solace. But as you leaned into him, matching his hesitance with quiet assurance, the kiss deepened, blossoming into something neither of you could deny.
The warmth of his body pressed against yours, the energy of his halo crackling faintly in the charged air. His gloves were cast aside, and the bare touch of his hands trailing down your sides sent a shiver through you. Each caress felt deliberate, a silent promise carried in every movement.
“Tell me,” he whispered against your lips, his breath mingling with yours. “Tell me this is real. That I’m not lost in a dream again.”
“It’s real,” you assured him, your fingers tangling in his hair. “I’m here, and so are you.”
His forehead rested against yours, golden eyes searching yours for any hint of doubt. Finding none, he exhaled, his tension melting into something softer, more vulnerable. He guided you to the bed with a gentleness that spoke of a man afraid to break something precious, every touch imbued with a care that made your heart ache.
Under his touch, the world fell away, leaving only the two of you—no past, no guilt, no lingering pain. Just Sunday, unguarded and whole, and you, willing to show him he could be loved not as a symbol or savior but as himself.
And in that quiet night, amid whispered confessions and shared warmth, Sunday allowed himself to believe it.

hey willow since i am so in love with ur katsuki writing is it okay if i ask to pls pls pls make another argument prompt with him since i am currently in the mood for angst (WITH HAPPY ENDING PLS MY POOR HEART CANNOT TAKE IT) ILY WILLOW UR SO SWEET AND NICE AND I WANNA BE UR FRIEND đŸ« đŸ« đŸ« đŸ«
we are friends !! đŸ„ș pals !!! đŸ„ș you're very kind, tysm !!!
idk if i have a prompt necessarily in mind rn but !! i could talk about fighting with him all the time, idk why there is such a draw to it for me aifhfjakal
the thing about bakugou is that he's not shy at all in almost every other aspect of his life, besides romantically (in my opinion). so if there's ever an issue, he's tackling it straight on; he's sure of himself, unafraid of confrontation, speaks his mind, stands up for himself and what he believes in—and if you're not like that, too, for the most part, i can see how little misunderstandings and hurt feelys could occur so easily.
he's also such a go-getter, so venting to him is probably impossible at the beginning of your relationship because he's immediately just telling you how to fix it and he doesn't understand why you're not listening to him.
like if you're having an issue with a coworker and just kind of lamenting about it to him, he's so—
"need to say somethin'," katsuki grunts, only briefly looking away from the gauntlet he's fiddling with at the dining table. there's a mess of screws and tiny pins and his hands are coated in a grease you can smell from where you're standing at the sink. "gonna walk all over you if you don't say nothin'."
and you're just—frustrated. wanting to complain in order to put words to how you're feeling, in case that will lighten the tension coiled in your shoulders.
"well, i know," you tell him quietly—and you do, you do know that, but you just want to be a crybaby for a minute. "but it's not like i can start a fight in the middle of work."
"why not?" he casts you another quick look, dark and furrowed, before leaning closer to—whatever he's looking at. there's a very small snapping sound, and he leans back with a hot huff and shakes his head. you know it's not but—it almost feels directed at you. "this is why they do it, you know that? because you don't do anything about it."
"i know, katsuki," you frown at him, but his attention is already diverted. "i'm just saying."
"saying it to me ain't gonna help you."
"okay," you huff now, too, before pushing off the counter. "i guess i just won't say it to you, then."
you catch the snap of his head in your peripheral vision, but continue on to your bedroom, not bothering to look back even when he starts stuttering.
"'m only—fuck. hang on."
i think i like writing it bc—there's so much for each of you to learn about each other every time đŸ„ș katsuki, how to talk to you; you, to read between his lines. and i think that's so sweet đŸ„ș two people that love each other working through their ugliest parts, and coming out the other side just as devoted đŸ„ș
hope this is okay !! tysm for your sweet words đŸ©·

This was Aoyama telling Izuku what he needed to hear: to become the person he wanted to be, he couldn't just suppress everything. He needed to face the pain he had experienced in order to truly move forward. And Izuku did successfully use this advice throughout the School Festival Arc. He saved Eri's spirit through the School Festival. And by facing his feelings about his own past, Izuku was able to save Gentle by acknowledging him. This was a good theme, but this idea seemed to evaporate by the end of Act Two after Izuku either suppressed everything until the end of the manga or lost most of his emotional depth.
But this line was also a call for help. Aoyama clearly wanted to sparkle too, but he knew the darkness he faced was too much for him to face alone. Aoyama was attempting to address the source of his own suffering by making this disclosure about his quirk to Izuku. Even saying this much could have theoretically gotten him killed. But Izuku didn't catch the hint (his eyes are closed, Izuku was not looking at him), and so Aoyama was left alone in the darkness again.
