          It’s well aimed, that’s for certain and Layle, always a bit too slow to respond, finds himself nudged just enough off balance that he falls, face first, into the track he had been examining. When he pulls himself up, he has mud all over his face, dripping down to his jacket... which he had just washed this morning.

          “Alright...” He grumbles, wiping away the muck with his hand and standing with a stretch. He turns toward his assailant and the crystal on his cheek flares with a bright spark of light as his hands are surrounded by blue. The ground begins to shake violently for just a few seconds until it gives way and releases a big ball of mud.
