as i am laying down for bed, i had a realization.

There is a reality out there where our s/o's from our drs make nsfw asmr with us in mind....random thought and i never used to think about this stuff before but i got a kick and a giggle out of it.

The thought of Arlecchino writing fanfic or Clorinde making asmr story series with us in mind...am gonna shift to my waiting room just to listen to that tbh. And to read the fanfic that my fave dr people have made about me. Just to see what they've come up with.

The idea that arlecchino or clori or any of my favorite people would pull me if i were a playable chara in their world and i would be their main 🥺 it's such a soft thought for me. The stuff i've done for them here, they have done for me in another reality. Streamer arlie and clori livestreaming their pulls and being so excited when the star goes gold and the joy they felt when my splash art showed on screen....i also wanna shift to my wr to see what my splash art would look like lol

Starting an AMA post about my DRs! In no particular order, here's all the ones I have active right now:

Seiyuu DR: Where I shift to be an anime voice actor. I made a post about it on this blog a while back.

Football DR: Where I shift to be a professional FIFA player. I had this one a few years back before I dropped it. Recently though, I saw someone on Tumblr (don't remember who) that mentioned having a similar DR, so it motivated me to revive it.

Genshin DR: Where I shift as Aether from Genshin Impact and go on adventures around Teyvat. This one also has a blog post about it.

Better OR: The biggest differences are that I grow up knowing I'm autistic and get the proper support for it, I move away from home earlier, and I keep in touch with some of my friendships that fell off in this reality.

Headspace DR: A reality for my system where we shift to hang out with each other in headspace and get to be ourselves in our own bodies. (This is our primary one atm)

my first DR is haunting me through my CR.

I had created this reality in 2021 and scripted through Google Docs (which I can still access, I feel like looking into it again honestly).

It was a Genshin Impact set reality, where my S/O was—is? that reality still exists, I know, but is it still me?—a Yaksha named Xiao.

I remember writing a letter to him and burning it. I don’t remember what I wrote in it aside from asking for a sign if he reads it, a squirrel.

I also remember seeing a squirrel in the game soon after—probably in the span of a couple of days. It was haunting, because I was expecting coming across one in real life.

But I hadn’t clarified it at all. So I was never able to solve whether it was an actual sign or not for years.

Ever since I moved to the US last year, I’ve been seeing quite a lot of squirrels in real life. On the sides of roads, climbing up trees, running around everywhere…

here’s another thing:

Tumblr keeps popping up a video of Xiao on my feed while trying to advertise their Tumblr TV feature.

Thinking about fox shifter!Childe who loves to chase bunny shifter!Reader. He chased you when he first met you, fox paws pinning you down in your squirming rabbit form, until you wore yourself out and he took you home with him. But after he knows you, he still loves the chase.

The tinge of instinctual fear intermingled with nervous thrill in your scent makes his blood pump. His fox ears are out, tail streaming behind him as he chases after you, following the noises you make as you bound and leap through the forest, trying to stretch out the distance between you and him.

You’re fast, but Childe has trained tirelessly over the years to hone his senses and master his body—both human and fox form, and the in-betweens. So he gains on you, your scent growing stronger to the point he can almost taste it.

He can tell you’re tiring.

Once he closes the distance and catches you, hands wrapping around your waist and spinning you around, he pushes you up against a tree. Before you can get a word out, he tears through the sleeve of your shirt with sharp claws, his fox features still present with the adrenaline running through his veins. Your noise of surprise is ignored. He swipes his tongue along your neck, savoring the taste of your skin: slightly salty from running, but your sweet scent is so strong here. Childe can hear your blood pumping, see your pulse fluttering, and he can’t help himself.

He bites.

Sinks his teeth into your skin, where your neck curves into your shoulder. You whine in shock at the sting of pain, but a shiver runs down your spine. His canines are sharper than a normal human’s, but he takes care to not break skin—this time.

He pulls back slowly when you thump your fist into his chest.

“Get off! Why did you have to go and tear my top?”

Childe runs his tongue over his teeth. He can taste you on his tongue, in his mouth, and he grins. “You ran from me.”

Your fingers brush over his bite mark. “I thought that was the whole point of what we planned,” you complain. “Why am I getting punished for it?”

“That’s not a punishment,” he says, blue eyes darkening. “It’s a reminder that I’ll always catch you, no matter how far you run.” He’ll be satisfied with the possessive mark left on your neck for now. It will fade in a few days, but that will be the perfect excuse for him to chase you again.

That feeling when you finally get into loa and now, all of a sudden, you start seeing the words shifting or shifted all over the place. Not lookin for anything or any specific signs/words but now they're everywhere.

My Genshin Impact DR

And here is the post I promised! I feel like my take on this DR is probably more unique than most, so if you feel inspired by the concept, feel free to adapt it into your own scripts!

First, some background. I first played Genshin starting on last year's anniversary, and one thing that bothered me from the start was how the game does absolutely nothing to acknowledge the characters in your party. I got Diluc from an early pull, but no one would say anything if I brought him to the Angel's Share, or the Dawn Winery, or Donna.

Then, my Immersive Daydreaming kicks in. If the game's not gonna acknowledge these characters, I'll just do it myself. So I started imagining interactions between these characters as we traveled. Like Aether messing around with Kaeya while Amber tries to yell at them and Lisa laughs in the background. I also tried to avoid using Teleport Waypoints unless absolutely necessary, so it felt more like we were on an adventure.

Gradually, this evolved into a whole sideplot alongside the Archon Quests, one that explored character arcs. I became really invested in it and decided to add it to my DR. If people are curious, I can fully detail this plot in a future post if people are interested. For now, just know that I'm Aether in my DR.

For this plot to happen, I would need to interact with people I wasn't supposed to have met yet in the main storyline. So my solution was to have nearly every playable character be a member of the Adventurer's Guild as part of a special division for Vision users.

But wait, what about Bennett and Fischl? Doesn't that make them less special? Once I realized that, I decided that they would be the leaders of this branch. Yes, Bennett actually gets the respect he deserves within the Guild. Is it weird for two teenagers to be leading a major branch of a massive international guild? Maybe, but it's shifting, so who cares?

Moving on, this doesn't mean everyone will be available all the time. People have their own lives after all. And there's also some obvious limitations like Nahida before she's freed, all of Inazuma before the Sakoku Decree is lifted, etc. But this shift in availability is good, as it allows me to spend time with people I wouldn't have otherwise.

Each of the Guild's headquarters has a proper building, and within it there's a corkoard with a list of people's current availability. When I'm about to leave on a quest, I can choose up to 4 people to come with me. In my DR, Teleport Waypoints only exists between the Guild's branches, and their purpose is to allow adventurers to quickly reach the places they were commissioned to. So I tell Katheryne who I want in my team, she gets people to send my requests to them, and I wait for them to arrive.

And that's pretty much some of the most important things about my DR. Like I said, feel free to steal the idea for your own scripts, and also if you want to hear more about my plot, just let me know in the notes or through asks! Bye for now :D

it was quite the chronically online task, but it was also really fun… if only it wasn’t forced by hoyoverse through the lack of melanin on any of the nations.
