Boycotting Genshin
I don't feel comfortable playing through Natlan and doing quest summaries + other fanart for the region. Unless something changes, I will be boycotting the game, since I don't want to support this level of insensitivity. I would encourage anyone reading this to do the same/go F2P/sign the below petition.
Here's all the designs/edits I've found for the Natlan characters so far which aim to portray the characters more accurately to their inspirations, along with other resources:

how do you manage LADS as F2P? I'm having a hard time collecting gems 😭 is so difficult compared to games like genshin
Okay so..i know it sounds difficult (IT IS) but it's not impossible.
the grind can be heartbreakingly annoying..i know! Before i used to find grinding in Genshin and HSR difficult but its..so doable and easier compared to Love and Deepspace 😭
Their constant barrage of Banner after Banner is another issue especially when they don't even run for long. FOMO gets to a lot of people who find it hard to spend due to personal reasons, which is just unfair. IMHO, every limited card banner should run for at least 30 Days.
And i think these are issues that should be thrown at the Devs every once in a while. So fill out the survey forms whenever available and list all your grievances to them. LADS isn't exactly F2P friendly.
-> However, with the launch of version 2.0, they're trying new stuff and giving out a bunch of Free 5 star memories as well as materials. So thats..something ig
It's also a fairly new game, one of a kind sorta thing..so i wanna give them the benefit of the doubt. They're still trying to find their way around things and i hope they gradually add better stuff for grinding of materials and gems. (Abyssal Chaos counts as one)
As for playing as F2P, here's how I do it..
If you can spend a little, then i suggest atleast buying the Aurum Pass (i have). It ain't much but it increases stamina cap to 170. And gives 100 gems + 60 stamina daily
only make pulls on a banner when you absolutely want that limited card
save up the red gems & empyrean wishes (blue tickets) for your bias/fav LI & make pulls only for his banners (unless you absolutely want a card of another)
Use your stamina daily. Don't let it stay full. Like expend at least 80 stamina in the morning. Then play again in the evening with a nearly full stamina cap.
Focus on one LI at a time & grind materials for him only. For example, i am a Xavier main so i expend 80 stamina for the yellow/green stellactrums (ascension material | fight Lemonette) and another 60~80 on the EXP bottles (experience material | fight Heartbreaker)
DON'T WASTE MATERIALS ON 3 STAR. You can waste them on 4 star cards but I don't suggest upgrading them more than Level 40 unless absolutely necessary (i.e. you don't have any other card options)
Fight Mr. Beanie once or twice regularly! You also need that gold to upgrade your memories.
And then of course, the achievements, completing a 5 Star memory story, tender moments and secret times also give gems.
Once a week try to grind for Protocores. Even your maxxed out 5 star memories are useless without good protocores. (50 : 100 ratio between crit. rate & crit. damage is ideal) And ofc, upgrade those protocores from time to time.
This all sounds like a lot but takes less than 20 minutes to do daily..And yes, you'll find some full length guides on Reddit & Youtube.
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU ANON ♡

I just realized Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail are different games, and since I just realized they're free, which of them would you suggest I try out? (And how bad/tempting is the gacha system?)
MY FRIEND!!!! :DDDD i'm so glad you realized these are different games, and my years of ACADEMY TRAINING HAVE PREPARED ME FOR THIS
okay i'm going to do a general breakdown of the high/low points of each, with some mentions of their gacha system also before jumping into my personal onions about them
genshin impact basic premise in a non-spoilery way: your twin is kidnapped/whisked away by a mysterious deity, and you are left exploring the world of tevyat while running around different places and unraveling mysteries behind certain archons (gods) of different locations. there's also hints about a previous ruined kingdom khaenri'ah, which was known to follow no archons. there's also a wintry country called snezhnaya which runs a mysterious organization called the Fatui (like spies/assassins/agents), with top agents known as Harbingers (like Tartaglia (Childe)). characters: there are a lot of fun characters to meet and interact with, with a decent mix of personalities and foibles. there are some general issues where the female characters don't necessarily have their full range of powers/agency shown as taking center stage, and also have been hearing some (rightful) general criticism around the way the natlan character designs have been handled. storylines: i myself was drawn into playing it from what i heard about the liyue storyline (involving zhongli) and iT DID have almost everything i believed it should be in a cdrama general intrigues secret identities and some betrayal kind of way. i played through the mondstadt story quest, liyue storyline (my favorite), inazuma story quests (which was okay), and sumeru story quests (which were quite good). i never made my way into finishing fontaine.
the storytelling can feel a little uneven at parts, but when it is REALLY good with specific character stories, it is absolutely amazing. one time i played through a specific character quest and wrote a whole fic for that particular character like a month later ease of play: it's sort of like. real time battling in an open world kind of play. you need to physically switch between using characters in a team of four. the maps of story quests areas can be really large, and there were a Lot of collectibles that you needed to get if you leveled up everything. some world puzzles can be especially frustrating. i know when i was playing on a laptop, occasional internet issues would make battling hard sometimes. i'm not especially good at video games, but i still managed okay. other downsides--grinding for the right materials to level up your characters can Take a significant chunk of time time needed: a lot ; w ; but at my peak of playing it, i was averaging anywhere between 40 minutes to 1.5 hours on average days, which was enough to go through a lot of it gacha system: i was always a f2p player, and i think the pity system and the way they let you get materials for the gacha pulls is pretty reasonable! i've had some friends spend more to get copies of characters of course, but i never really felt the need to do that. i think at last count, i had like 8 or 9 five-star characters through just using f2p, and if there's a character you like, you can spend some time saving up the materials for pulls. i got at least four of the characters i wanted to pull for through just saving up from general daily quests and stuff like that
other fun things you might like to see if you were considering genshin: guides for building up characters, a zhongli character trailer in CN, a childe CN trailer, a Fantastic childe fanvid, my (spoilery) genshin tag.
final onions on genshin: you might like it, but the time cost required to get through the game may be a Lot. parts of the materials gathering and world exploration parts can get tedious, with controls for battling sometimes veering into clunky. i do Love certain character stories very much once playing through them. i also usually play it in original CN dub with english subs since i prefer the voices that way. different types of fun characters to like, with plenty of shipping material for certain couples (some with more canonical details to work with than others) i may recommend seeing if u want to watch a playthrough of the mondstadt archon quests, and the liyue archon quests (plus zhongli character quests), before deciding on playing
i think im breaking the limits of an ask reply right now, so please stay tuned as i jump into honkai star rail in a bit when i reblog this :''))
#replies to an admiring bog#genshin impact#luchia13#im SO SO SO SO SO \o/ u asked me about thissss#long post#video games#the honkai star rail is on its wayyy i just need to get a drink first

btw i was redoing abyss on my f2p bc it refreshed and it prompted me to talk about smth that i wanted for some time, which is f2p team building\pulling advice. bc like if you look at "f2p friendly" guides\abyss cleares, its like. a team of 4 stars, but they're all c6 r5. which you won't realistically have as f2p bc you don't pull on every banner! like every f2p guide has a sucrose team, but i played for a year already on f2p account and i don't have a single sucrose. not mention, she only gets playable on c1 and comparable to kazuha on c6. still worse than him in grouping tho! you know who i do have? kazuha! bc its easier to guarantee a limited 5 star than 4 star in genshin.
similarily, xiangling only gets broken at c4, XQ is as as good as c0 yelan at his C6, but the problem is that you can pull like 2 5stars before a 4 star when 4 star is ON THE BANNER. i got 2 5stars before a single kuki and kuki was on the banner! so advicing ppl to target specific 4 stars is useless. like yeah, it helps for like, oh you should save for these in the shop and if you see them on the banner, its good, but like. you shouldnt pull on the banner only for 4 star if you dont like 5 star. and again, you cant guarantee a 4 star!
but on the other hand, f2p doesnt mean u only play 4 stars. it means you have a limited quantity of 5 stars you can get. so i think its much more useful to advice like a staple 5 stars which will carry u at c0 with 4 star weapons and rest of 4 star teammates. kazuha, nahida, furina, yelan, alhaitham. solo c0 neuvi on 4 star weapon and mediocre artifacts will have similar clear time to hyperbloom team, which is enough to 36 star abyss.
so like instead of reccommending teams of like c6 sucrose c6 r5 XQ c6r5 xiangling c6 r5 fischl etc, its better to target 5 stars who will carry with no cons and with 4 star weapons

who to pick in 4.4 || genshin character selector guide
hello everyone, i'm back!! in today's post, i'll be going through all of the characters available for free in 4.4 and talking about who will be the best choice for you.
note: I will not be ranking or saying the "best" character to choose. Instead, i'll go over their strengths and weaknesses along with why they might be a good choice
let's begin!
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Yao Yao Yao Yao is a Dendro Polearm user. Her main roles are healing and Dendro application. Yao Yao is a very good character and is one of the best of the never four stars. She can work great as a secondary (or sometimes the sole) Dendro character in a team. Her skill deals damage, heals, and applies Dendro from off-field which is very useful. Her burst is able to quickly heal your entire team which allows her to work quite well with Furina. If you're F2P and especially if you don't have Nahida, Yao Yao is an amazing choice. constellations ・❥・works perfectly fine at C0. Cons lower her energy needs and give her a bit more healing, along with some more Dendro application. Her cons helps her most in Aggravate/Spread teams and Nilou Bloom teams
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Yanfei Yanfei is a Pyro Catalyst user. Her main role is being a DPS but at C4, she can also work as a shielder. Yanfei has decent AoE and is very easy but satisfying to play. She works very well for early game players. Yanfei is a decent choice if you need a DPS but if you already have a strong DPS and don't especially like Yanfei, she isn't that useful. constellations ・❥・works fine at C0. Cons increase her damage. At C4, her burst creates a shield that is quite strong. If you're Yanfei is C4+, she can function as a shielder in some teams
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Yun Jin Yao Yao is a Geo Polearm user. She works as a buffer for normal attack damage. Because there aren't DPS characters who focus soley/primarily on normal attack damage, she is a bit of a niche choice. If you use a normal attack DPS like Yoimiya and want to further increase her damage, Yun Jin can be a great choice constellations ・❥・Functions fine at C0. Cons mainly increase her buffing capability. Her C6 grants normal attack speed which is a rare buff and can make gameplay a lot more fun.
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Xinyan Xinyan is a Pyro Claymore user. She can occupy a number of different roles such as Physical DPS, Shielder, Burst Support, or Physical Support, but doesn't excel in any of these roles. I would really only reccomend choosing Xinyan if you don't need any of the other characters and if you like her/want to play her constellations ・❥・Doesn't require cons but they are a nice upgrade. C4 allows her to be a Physical support and the rest of her cons increase her own damage. Her C2 is incredibly unique and is the only talent in the game that guarantees a crit hit!
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Chongyun Chongyun is a Cryo Claymore user. He can function as a DPS or a support. His skill is very unqiue, it creates a field that infuses your Claymore/Poelarm/Swork characters with Cryo! This allows him to infuse himself to act as a DPS or to enable some fun combos with other characters! If you like Chongyun or want to try out some fun teams with his infusion, go for it! Otherwise, I wouldn't reccomend choosing him constellations ・❥・works perfectly fine at C0. All of help increase his own damage. His C2 decreases the skill/burst cooldown of abilities cast inside his skill's field. This is a very unique effect and can be useful in some situations
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Xingqiu Xingqiu is a Hydro Sword user. Honestly, i'm just gonna go out and say it: Xingqiu is incredibly broken and every account should have at least one copy of him. If you don't already have him, he is almost 100% the best choice. Anyways, Xingqiu functions as an off-field Hydro applier with some defensive capability. His burst allows your characters to apply Hydro with their normal attacks. Xingqiu is able to enable a ton of reactions and works in SO. MANY. TEAMS. Hydro has some of the strongest reactions so being able to trigger them easily with good damage and defensive capability makes Xingqiu one of the best options. If you don't have him already or don't want any of the other characters, please choose Xingqiu. constellations ・❥・insanely strong at C0 but all of his cons are very very useful and great to have.
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Beidou Beidou is an Electro Claymore character. Her main role is to be an off-field DPS but she can also function onfield. She has very strong damage and Electro application. Her burst also grants interruption resist which is very useful. Her C2 is super super super amazing so if you are at C1 and don't desperately need another of the characters, she's a great pick. And if you don't have her, she's also a really amazing option constellations ・❥・works perfectly fine at C0. C2 is a massive damage increase and makes her a lot better in AoE. C1 grants a shield while her burst is active which is nice but the sheild isn't particularly tanky. Her other cons grant her more damage
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Xiangling Xiangling is a Pyro Polearm user. She is considered one of the strongest characters in Genshin. Xiangling has INSANE off-field damage and perfect synergy with Bennett who is also one of the best characters. She is given for free in Abyss but her cons are very very strong. Unless you need another of the characters, Xiangling is a safe pick constellations ・❥・broken at C0 and even more broken with cons. C4 is by far her best con. C6 works really nicely in mono-pyro teams or teams with another Pyro DPS
ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ Gaming Note: he literally just came out so I don't have as much info on him Gaming is a Pyro Claymore user. He is a DPS character who uses Plunging attacks enabled by his skill. From what i've seen/heard, Gaming is one of the strongest 4 star DPS characters whose damage at C6 is comparable to some C0 five stars. He's new and a very likable + strong character so if you want to choose him, he's an awesome choice!! personally, i'll be going for him constellations ・❥・great at C0. C6 is a ton more damage
and that's all for today!! I hope you find this guide useful. Who will you be choosing in 4.4?
Good luck with your pulls!!

here's my insanely good F2P friendly arlecchino team that deals a ton of damage (like up to 106k vape dmg): arlecchino, xingqiu, zhongli, and bennett; only 2 5-stars, 2 basic characters, and one of the 5-stars is an older, popular and highly used one. if you have yelan you could replace xingqiu with her. both arlecchino and zhongli are at C0.
the only catch is that.....
my arlecchino uses staff of the scarlet sands. the only reason i have this weapon is because i was stupid and thought that cyno would be good to invest in, and i also got lucky on his weapon banner (19 pity). turns out he sucks ass....
this is arlecchino's third best weapon. her obvious best is her signature, and second best is primordial jade winged-spear which is on the standard banner, so if you lost 50/50 on the weapon banner or otherwise pulled 5 stars from the standard, you could get that weapon. unfortunately i don't have it. you could also use staff of homa if you have it. otherwise you're unfortunately stuck with the 3-star white tassel, but at least it's easy to build and refine!
if you want to build arlecchino, i suggest you use the keqingmains guide below!

my biggest advice when it comes to hsr, from someone who’s been playing since launch, is to not be afraid to use character guides. once you get the hang of building them, you don’t need them as much, but for beginners i recommend going on youtube or reddit. the characters rely a lot on one another and having a more “structured” team is more important than in genshin. my biggest recommendation is probably to have a healer, idk which ones you have but for early game i think bailu and natasha are pretty good, and then building a team with perseverance tb! and a dps + sub. i mainly got through the first world by having bailu + trailblazer and altering between characters (mostly welt + seele since i got her early but if you have bronya then i rec her>>)
yep i noticed it's pretty strict on teams, which is my main gripe about the combat… and i did look at some guides (i use them for genshin all the time too), altho i usually don't go to youtube or reddit! i just google "genshin/hsr [char] build" and usually gamerant/game8 pops up, but even so… ok, here's a real experience from me yesterday.
so, i built dan heng-bronya-natasha-march team, right. while for robin, i just switch bronya-dan heng with robin-herta (these 2 are my only 5* characters so i try to center my teams around them)... but you know what? none of these elements can break cocolia (especially the echo boss because at that point you don't get the fire trailblazer yet)!!! so i had to suddenly grind for leveling up asta and research again about what team is good for her. so it's like… "uh…. ok…. well fuck….."
and then!!!! at the boss fight, i discover the trailblazer turns into fire element.
………. :D
truly, i felt like a total clown.
(no like seriously that was so annoying to me. it felt like a slap in the face. i would have rage-quitted if the boss fight was hard and i died)
but then again, i mean, what am i supposed to do then, spoil myself for the next boss and do my research to prep for that fight? even if i didn't major in game dev, that doesn't sound like a good game design...
anyway. yeah. i'm building the fire trailblazer... we'll see how it goes....
having more 5 star characters in your account, especially a healer/shielder in the beginning, helps a lot, i think? atp i don't mind buying the monthly pass, but i'm going strictly f2p on my account because my priority is just to get through xianzhou arc. i'm most probably going to switch account starting penacony because my brother abandoned his, and he has jing yuan 2 built teams and he already grinded lots. i just have to either exchange for bailu once we collect enough passes to reach that 300th pull, or wait for a luocha rerun… and blade heheheheheheheheh- /smacked. granted, his dps-es can't really clear all the content these days because they're not meta anymore, but i don't really care about that at the moment!

HSR FAQ 𖡻 HP%/ATK%/DEF% or Outgoing Healing Boost (OHB) for chest relic?
Answer
Type of body relic piece that gives most healing amount to least:
HP-scaling healer = 5* OHB body > 4* OHB body > 5* HP% body
ATK-scaling healer = 5* OHB body > 4* OHB body > 5* ATK% body
DEF-scaling healer = 5* OHB body > 4* OHB body > 5* DEF% body
Explanation
I know the feeling of grinding the Passerby domain and not getting the OHB body for healers. The build guides are saying to use OHB body for them, but RNG says no.
In this post, I'll make a comparison calculation between the two in order find out how much difference would the healing amount each type would give.
Assumptions:
I'll be using rainbow-set with the healers. This means that there would be no additional set effect that could add to healing amount. This is to ensure that each different-scaling healers would be equal when it comes to constants.
I'll also use 3* Multiplication lightcone stats without considering the passive in the calculation. (cause we are broke f2ps)
Constants would be the relic main stats for head, hand, boots, and rope. Variable would be main stat for body and orb and the max stats of 3* LC.
The comparison would be between using 5* HP%/ATK%/DEF% body, 5* OHB body, and 4* OHB body.
At the time of this writing, there are only HP and ATK scaling healers available. However, in this post, I'll include a hypothetical computation for a DEF-scaling healer, in case HYV decides to release one in future. I made this assumption due to the fact that in Genshin Impact, there are DEF-scaling healers released in game.
Max Lv 80, Trace Lv 6/10/10/10
There are no ATK, ATK%, HP, HP%, DEF, and DEF% substats (because healer set likes to roll into crits, break effect, EHR, and effect res)
Constants:
Main Stat Values from Relic and Ornament Pieces
Head = 705.6 HP
Glove = 352.8 ATK
Boots = 25 SPD
Rope = 19.4 ERR%
Variables:
Body
5* body = 34.56 %OHB
4* body = 23.0033 %OHB
43.2 ATK%
43.2 HP%
54 DEF%
Sphere
43.2 ATK% (for ATK-scaling healers)
43.2 HP% (for HP-scaling healers)
54 DEF% (for DEF-scaling healers)
3* Multiplication LC max stats
HP = 952
ATK = 317
DEF = 198
— Healing Amount Calculation —
For ATK-scaling healers, I'll use Luocha's numbers here as an example.
Luocha's Max Base ATK = 756 ATK
3* Multiplication LC max base ATK = 317 ATK
+ATK% from traces = +28% ATK
from Lv 1 = +4% ATK
from Lv 80 = +8% ATK
from A3 = +4% ATK
from A4 = +6% ATK
from A5 = +6% ATK
Healing Amount
from Skill = 60% ATK + 800
from Talent = 18% ATK + 240
Case 1: using 5* OHB body
Total ATK = (756 + 317) * (1 + 0.28 + 0.432) + 352.8 = 2189.776 ATK Healing from Skill = (2189.776 * 0.60 + 800) * (1 + 0.3456) = 2844.418 HP Healing from Talent = (2189.776 * 0.18 + 240) * (1 + 0.3456) = 853.3253 HP Total Healing Amount from Case 1 = 3697.743 HP
Case 2: using 4* OHB body
Total ATK = (756 + 317) * (1 + 0.28 + 0.432) + 352.8 = 2189.776 ATK Healing from Skill = (2189.776 * 0.60 + 800) * (1 + 0.230033) = 2600.124 HP Healing from Talent = (2189.776 * 0.18 + 240) * (1 + 0.230033) = 780.0373 HP Total Healing Amount from Case 2 = 3380.162 HP
Case 3: using 5* ATK% body
Total ATK = (756 + 317) * (1 + 0.28 + 0.432 + 0.432) + 352.8 = 2653.312 ATK Healing from Skill = (2653.312 * 0.60 + 800) * (1) = 2391.987 HP Healing from Talent = (2653.312 * 0.18 + 240) * (1) = 717.5962 HP Total Healing Amount from Case 3 = 3109.583 HP
% Difference between these 3 Cases:
Case 1 Total Heals = 3697.743 HP (100%)
Case 2 Total Heals = 3380.162 HP (91.41%)
Case 3 Total Heals = 3109.583 HP (84.09%)
From these results, when it comes to healing amount for ATK-scaling healers:
[5* OHB body] > [4* OHB body] > [5* ATK% body]
For the HP-scaling healers, I'll be using Bailu's numbers here as an example, because Natasha's traces have additional OHB, unlike Bailu's.
Bailu's Max Base HP = 1319 HP
3* Multiplication LC max base HP = 952 HP
+HP% from traces = +28% HP
from Lv 1 = +4% HP
from Lv 80 = +8% HP
from A3 = +4% HP
from A4 = +6% HP
from A5 = +6% HP
Healing Amount
from Skill = 11.7% max HP + 312
from Ultimate = 13.5% max HP + 360
from Talent 1 (ally with invigoration got hit) = 5.4% max HP + 144
from Talent 2 (revive) = 18% max HP + 480
Case 1: using 5* OHB body
Total HP = (1319 + 952) * (1 + 0.28 + 0.432) + 705.6 = 4593.552 HP Healing from Skill = (4593.552 * 0.117 + 312) * (1 + 0.3456) = 1143.014 HP Healing from Ultimate = (4593.552 * 0.135 + 360) * (1 + 0.3456) = 1318.862 HP Healing from Talent 1 = (4593.552 * 0.054 + 114) * (1 + 0.3456) = 487.1769 HP Healing from Talent 2 = (4593.552 * 0.18 + 480) * (1 + 0.3456) = 1758.483 HP Total Healing Amount from Case 1 = 4707.536 HP
Case 2: using 4* OHB body
Total HP = (1319 + 952) * (1 + 0.28 + 0.432) + 705.6 = 4593.552 HP Healing from Skill = (4593.552 * 0.117 + 312) * (1 + 0.230033) = 1044.846 HP Healing from Ultimate = (4593.552 * 0.135 + 360) * (1 + 0.230033) = 1205.592 HP Healing from Talent 1 = (4593.552 * 0.054 + 114) * (1 + 0.230033) = 445.3357 HP Healing from Talent 2 = (4593.552 * 0.18 + 480) * (1 + 0.230033) = 1607.456 HP Total Healing Amount from Case 2 = 4303.229 HP
Case 3: using 5* HP% body
Total HP = (1319 + 952) * (1 + 0.28 + 0.432 + 0.432) + 705.6 = 5574.624 HP Healing from Skill = (5574.624 * 0.117 + 312) * (1) = 964.231 HP Healing from Ultimate = (5574.624 * 0.135 + 360) * (1) = 1112.574 HP Healing from Talent 1 = (5574.624 * 0.054 + 114) * (1) = 415.0297 HP Healing from Talent 2 = (5574.624 * 0.18 + 480) * (1) = 1483.432 HP Total Healing Amount from Case 3 = 3975.267 HP
% Difference between these 3 Cases:
Case 1 Total Heals = 4707.536 HP (100%)
Case 2 Total Heals = 4303.229 HP (91.41%)
Case 3 Total Heals = 3975.267 HP (84.44%)
From these results, when it comes to healing amount for HP-scaling healers:
[5* OHB body] > [4* OHB body] > [5* HP% body]
For DEF-scaling healers, I'll just create a hypothetical kit which is based from how the kits of ATK and HP scaling healers were formed.
Max Base DEF = 600 DEF
3* Multiplication LC max base DEF = 198 DEF
+DEF% from traces = +28% DEF
Healing Amount

from Ultimate = 30% max DEF + 800
Case 1: using 5* OHB body
Total DEF = (600 + 198) * (1 + 0.28 + 0.54) = 1452.36 DEF Healing from Skill = (1452.36 * 0.20 + 500) * (1 + 0.3456) = 1063.659 HP Healing from Ultimate = (1452.36 * 0.30 + 800) * (1 + 0.3456) = 1662.769 HP Total Healing Amount from Case 1 = 2726.428 HP
Case 2: using 4* OHB body

Case 3: using 5* DEF% body
Total DEF = (600 + 198) * (1 + 0.28 + 0.54 + 0.54) = 1883.28 DEF Healing from Skill = (1883.28 * 0.20 + 500) * (1) = 876.656 HP Healing from Ultimate = (1883.28 * 0.30 + 800) * (1) = 1364.984 HP Total Healing Amount from Case 3 = 2241.64 HP
% Difference between these 3 Cases:
Case 1 Total Heals = 2726.428 HP (100%)
Case 2 Total Heals = 2492.268 HP (91.41%)
Case 3 Total Heals = 2241.64 HP (82.21894%)

How to Buy Genesis Crystals and Top Up Your Genshin Impact Account
Genshin Impact has taken the world by storm since its release in 2020, captivating players with its anime-style open world and exciting gacha game mechanics. As you progress further into the world of Teyvat and unlock more characters, weapons, and upgrades, you may find yourself wanting to enhance your gaming experience even further. This is where Genesis Crystals come in - the premium currency in Genshin Impact that can be used to purchase the Battle Pass, Blessing of the Welkin Moon, and convert directly into the F2P currency, Primogems.
What are Genesis Crystals?
Genesis Crystals are the paid virtual currency in Genshin Impact that you can use to redeem various in-game items and services. Here are some of the main uses for Genesis Crystals:
Purchase the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass for rewards
Unlock the Blessing of the Welkin Moon for daily Primogems
Convert directly into Primogems at a 1:1 ratio
Buy Resin, Mora, and other items from Paimon’s Bargains
How to Get Genesis Crystals
There are a few methods to obtain Genesis Crystals in Genshin Impact:
Purchase them with real money - This is the main way to acquire Genesis Crystals. You can buy them with credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other payment methods.
Through giveaways and events - Occasionally, miHoYo provides small amounts of Genesis Crystals for free via special giveaways and in-game events.
Acquisition bonuses - You get a small number of Genesis Crystals the first time you top up your account.
How Much do Genesis Crystals Cost?
Genesis Crystal prices vary based on the amount you purchase. Some example pricing in USD:
60 Crystals - $0.99
300 Crystals - $4.99
980 Crystals - $14.99
1,980 Crystals - $29.99
3,280 Crystals - $49.99
6,480 Crystals - $99.99
As you buy more Genesis Crystals in bulk, you get an increasingly better rate per crystal. First-time buyers also get a small number of bonus crystals with their initial purchase.
How to Top Up Genesis Crystals in Genshin Impact
If you're ready to convert your real-world money into premium Genshin Impact currency, here is a step-by-step guide to topping up your Genesis Crystals:
Open Genshin Impact and tap on the Paimon menu in the top-left corner
Select the Shop icon, then click ‘Top-Up’
Browse the Genesis Crystal packages and select the amount you wish to purchase
Choose your payment method and complete the transaction
The Genesis Crystals will automatically be credited to your account
“I only buy Genesis Crystals when there is a top-up bonus so I can maximize the value I get. The double bonus they offered for the recent 2.6 update was a great deal!”
- Genshin Impact player
Where to Buy Genesis Crystals
Instead of buying Genesis Crystals directly from the in-game shop, you can also purchase them from reliable third-party sellers like LootBar to save money.
Key benefits of buying from LootBar:
Cheaper Genesis Crystal rates
Regular discounts and promotions
Fast delivery of crystals to your account
Secure checkout and transactions
Helpful 24/7 customer service
As an established marketplace for gaming top-ups and items, LootBar is a reliable option for getting the most value out of your Genshin Impact purchases.
Tips for Buying Genesis Crystals
Here are some tips to save money and maximize your Genesis Crystal purchases:
Wait for bonus top-up offers before buying large packs of crystals
Compare prices from different sellers to find the best deals
Only buy enough for what you need right away to avoid waste
Take advantage of first-time buyer bonuses and seasonal sales when available
Set a monthly budget so you don’t overspend on crystals
Putting Your Crystals to Good Use
Once you have topped up your supply of Genesis Crystals, here are some of the best ways to utilize them in Genshin Impact:
Unlock characters and weapons from the rotating event banners
Replenish your Resin to keep farming ascension materials
Purchase the Gnostic Hymn Battle Pass for weapons and resources
Gift characters skin upgrades to enhance their appearance
With the help of Genesis Crystals, you can truly step up your Genshin Impact game and dominate the realm of Teyvat!

Just started hsr a few days ago and man am I struggling!!! I haven’t pulled for characters yet and I’m supposed to defeat cocolia and I still don’t know how build characters and stuff I’m worried I’ll overspend is this normal!? 😭😭 like what do you do!!
anon!!! first off you don't have to spend at all if you don't want to do so!! i'm completely f2p this time around (i was not in genshin). also you've gone a long ways in a few days! it took me a while to get to cocolia but also i am known to Wander lmao.
pulling for characters is going to be key though! the beginner's banner guarantees you a 5* within 50 pulls i think? and it's a really good starting place. i still use yanqing (my first 5*) all the time.
if you're struggling with builds, check some of the guides out! they can be really helpful—i use them all the time. make sure you're leveling your relics and ESPECIALLY your traces! you may have to grind quite a bit to get to a place where you can beat cocolia.
tbh imo hsr is not a very intuitive game. i think the only reason i picked up it kinda decently is because i was used to genshin. and even then my abilities in this game and my builds are...questionable.
i wish i could be of more assistance anon!! but i know you can beat her 😤
and just again: you don't need to spend money on this game!!! obviously you can if you want but it's not necessary!! especially if you're worried about overspending.

Hsr has been suspiciously good to me, like I won both Jing yuans and his lc 50/50 now I’ve won mothers 50/50 could this be hoyo putting me during my genshin era??
I literally lost every 50/50 my c2 Qiqi and diluc a test to that </3
I’ve been looking up guides and Kafka is literally so f2p friendly like her best builds are f2p and I already have that one 4* lc that’s recommended for her so I may just stick with it for now.
But I’ll probably just save up ten pulls and risk it for her signature one, I mean go big or go home right?
On another note I’m probably going to spend tomorrow speedrunning my Asia alt just so I can see how many wishes I’ll have stocked up 😰 if it comes to it, I may make another alt, because I do want to get both Dan Heng IL and fu xuan- ok maybe fu Xuan a lil more because women>>>
Other than that how are you :DDD
NO BC hsr is so nice to me too fr ive only lost 1 50/50 so far and its Amazing hope im that lucky in dan hengs banner Sobs PLS YE omg i rmb lock showing me the description of her 4* lightcone and its k k k k kiinda yk😳 all ill say is shes Mother glgl on getting her light cone frfr PLS i love how u abandoned some dragon guy for her which ykw Understandable :3

Genshin Impact: Best Weapons For Shenhe
Genshin Impact: Best Weapons For Shenhe
Mika is a solid support character in Genshin Impact that some players may wish to build. Getting the right weapons and artifacts for him is doable for F2P players. To get more news about recharge genshin impact, you can visit topuplive.com official website.
Mika's best weapons and artifacts will seek to emphasize his role as a 4-star Cryo Polearm user with a supportive kit. It should be noted that this guide was made in Genshin Impact 3.6, but it should still be relevant in future updates.Allies that don't regularly use their Normal Attacks won't get much value from Mika's supportive capabilities. He is unlikely to be a great source of damage for his team, especially since his Elemental Burst cannot hurt enemies.
This character's usefulness as a support will significantly increase if the player gets Constellations for him. His C6 effect is instrumental to Physical teams since getting an extra 60% Physical CRIT DMG is a huge DPS increase. Shenhe is one of the best buffers in Genshin Impact. However, players must understand how her kit works to maximize her utility. It's important to note that Shenhe is only effective as a Cryo buffer, so units with other Elements won't fully benefit from her kit.
Moreover, Shenhe's utility in Genshin Impact differs from other characters with similar gameplay, such as Bennett and Kujou Sara. While they scale with Base ATK, Shenhe scales with her total ATK, meaning that ATK% stats are of great importance for her kit.
With a Base ATK of 565, the Kitain Cross Spear, as a 4-star weapon, is a great addition to Shenhe’s kit since she heavily relies on ATK scaling. The spear also provides Shenhe with an efficient way to recharge her Elemental Burst by granting her up to 15 Energy at the cost of three Energy when she casts her Elemental Skill.
The Lithic Spear makes for a good Polearm option for Shenhe in Genshin Impact. Its high Base ATK, combined with the 27% ATK Secondary stat, boosts Shenhe’s ATK and enhances the Cryo DMG buff she provides to other characters. Additionally, if Shenhe is supporting Liyue characters, she'll get additional ATK based on the number of Liyue units. Fortunately, one of the best Cryo DPS, Ganyu, hails from the land of contract, which means that's an easy two stacks of Lithic Spear.
As a 4-star weapon, Wavebreaker’s Fin holds one of the highest Base ATK in Genshin Impact. A whopping 620 extra Base ATK is great for players who wish to stack ATK. However, keep in mind that this weapon can't support Shenhe's Energy requirement.
Although Shenhe can't activate the passive effect of Vortex Vanquisher since she’s an off-field unit, she can still benefit from the weapon's high Base ATK and nearly 50% ATK increase. Therefore, Vortex Vanquisher, as a 5-star weapon, is a worthwhile option for Shenhe in Genshin Impact.

should you pull guide || genshin 4.3
Hello everyone!! With 4.3 right around the corner, I thought i'd make a quick guide on who you should pull! note: I will not be talking about Navia since she isn't out yet. However, I will talk about her weapon
✧*̥˚ phase 1*̥˚✧
╰┈➤ Navia (Geo - 5✧ - DPS) will talk about her when she comes out
╰┈➤ Ayaka (Cryo - 5✧ - DPS) Ayaka is a Cryo DPS who is mainly used in freeze teams. She is very strong but she only works well in freeze which means in abyss cycles with lots of unfreezable enemies she may struggle. She has an alternate sprint that grants her a Cryo infusion, making her very fun for exploration. Her teams are decently flexible but her best is quite premium, requiring 3 other 5 stars (Shenhe/Kazuha/Kokomi) Should you pull ❥ If you love Ayaka or want to play freeze, go for it! Otherwise, she isn't really needed and hasn't been as good lately due to the abyss enemies
╰┈➤ Verdict (Claymore - 5✧ - Navia's signature) will talk about it when it comes out
╰┈➤ Mistsplitter Reforged (Sword - 5✧ - Ayaka's Signature) Mistsplitter Reforged is a super strong sword for DPS characters. Because it has Crit DMG% and Elemental Damage% it is very versatile. Not every character is able to get full stacks of the passive but it's an incredibly strong option and will most likely be usable on many future characters Should you pull ❥ If you want to pull for a 5 star sword, Mistsplitter is one of the best choices. But, weapon banners are incredibly risky and, from what we know about Navia's kit, her signature weapon could very likely be niche and not a great weapon to lose to.
╰┈➤ four stars ❥ Sucrose is one of the best four stars and maybe even one of the best characters in the game! She is incredibly versatile and a great option if you don't have (or even if you do have) Kazuha ❥ Rosaria is strong but a bit niche. She is quite F2P friendly, especially with her crit rate buffs, and works well in 4 star melt teams. She has a crit rate buff which can be quite useful. She can also be used as a battery (supplies energy particles) in Ayaka teams ❥ Candace doesn't really have any uses yet and isn't that great. Her C6 can make her usable in a few teams but overall she isn't very strong ❥ Akomaru can be a good choice for Beidou or DPS Dehya at R5 but isn't very notable ❥ Mouun's Moon is a decent choice for some characters but there are tons of other bow options ❥ The Flute gives you Attack% but it's passive isn't very useful. All sword characters have better options, many of which are F2P accessible such as Harbringer of Dawn (3 star weapon) ❥ Favonius Codex is a Favonius weapon, all of which are insanely broken but there aren't really any characters who want to use it. Especially with the 3 star Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers, most supportive catalysts have another option
✧*̥˚ phase 2*̥˚✧
╰┈➤ Yoimiya (Pyro - 5✧ - DPS) Yoimiya is a Pyro bow DPS who uses normal attacks. She's fun and very easy to play but has quite a few issues. However, she can still deal very solid damage and is incredibly F2P-friendly Should you pull ❥ Yoimiya has a few issues and generally isn't a recommended pull. She isn't bad but generally not a recommended pull unless you like her as a character and can spare the primos - from a double crowned Yoimiya main, I pulled Aqua for her and am top 12% on akasha
╰┈➤ Raiden Shogun (Electro - 5✧ - DPS/Kinda a support) Raiden is a very very strong DPS and has amazing synergy with rational/national which has been one of the best teams since like, release. She is F2P friendly with both her team and best weapon but playing rational will require lots of emblem pieces. She is also one of the best hyperbloom triggers Should you pull ❥ Raiden is a strong DPS with great damage and a great team. She's a very good pull if you have the extra primos/want her but is definitely not a must pull.
╰┈➤ Thundering Pulse (Bow - 5✧ - Yoimiya's Signature) Thundering Pulse is a solid choice for Yoimiya but she has many other and F2P friendly options. There are also lots of other 5 star bows that are a lot stronger on a lot more characters such as Aqua Simulacra and Polar Star. Should you pull ❥ If you want to improve your Yoimiya it's a good choice. In general, it's not bad but there are other 5 star bows that are much, much better choices
╰┈➤ Engulfing Lightning (Spear - 5✧ - Raiden Shogun's Signature) Engulfing lightning is a strong choice for Raiden and a few other polearms but The Catch is free so engulfing is no way needed for Raiden Should you pull ❥ If you really want to improve your Raiden, you can go for it. But otherwise I wouldn't reccomend it since characters that can run it can also just use The Catch. There are also other 5 star polearms like Homa or even Jade that are stronger and more versatile. And if you're pulling it for Xiangling, Staff of Scarlet Sands is better almost all of the time
hope this helped, good luck with your pulls!

what does being an f2p (if that's even correct I saw it mentioned on your blog once) player mean?
I'm like really new to genshin and everybody just flings acronyms around and I don't understand shit (/lh)
i remember just starting out, there's so much to figure out 😭 but i hope you enjoy! i found it very fun!
it means being free to play! since genshin's a gacha game you can also choose to be pay to win, ie. paying real money for extra pulls (wishes) at characters on banners, or paying for a battle pass membership (unlocks more prizes). as a free to play, i grind (do quests, do exploration, do the challenges in the adventure guide and battle pass) to get primos. harder work, but way easier for my wallet and bank account.
(other useful acronyms i spent way too long trying to figure out:
a character at c0-6 (constellation = when you get characters multiple times you unlock constellations that give your character different buffs)
a weapon at r1-5 (refinement rank =you can refine your weapon by 'adding' copies of the same type of weapon to your weapon)
being at x pity (mostly something you'll see the very into the gacha meta people talk about, but on the banners you're guaranteed a five star at 90 wishes - and the wishes up until then are the pity, so if you've pulled 70 times you're at 70 pity))
also five star characters are good, but they're not necessary. you can play the game without ever using a cent and still find it enjoyable and fun to play. anyone saying anything different are lying to you. also five stars don't need constellations to work efficiently, they're really just a benefit for the people that can spend hundreds of dollars on getting them

honestly people making f2p guides/showcases for genshin’s spiral abyss at this point while using c6 4 stars is kinda false advertising lmao. like i am a welkin player who started playing near launch and i still dont have some launch 4 stars c6.
