Saigenos cooking

Saitama prepares food because Genos is away at HA meeting. Genos finally comes back home and Saitama welcomes him back, but then Genos surprisingly wraps his arms around him and pulls close. this fic starts with a bang and somehow gets impossibly hotter with each section. the excerpt i picked above is absolutely burned into my brain and was formative to the development of my personal headcanon of what geno's like in bed—geno getting bossed around and sid getting off on picturing it? lord have mercy, it's scorching.

the really masterful part of this fic is how the smut informs the characterizations. it can be really difficult to line up a sex scene to so excellently advance the plot and a relationship, but mediaville does an incredible job here—every fantasy sid has gives us more insight into who he is as a person, and every interaction he and geno have pushes their relationship forward in meaningful emotional ways, not just sexual. we get to watch them stumble through this thing they're figuring out together, acting out their feelings through sex first and then, finally, with words, and it's truly remarkable how perfectly it all works together.

sid and geno getting closer, sid pushing boundaries and introducing light D/s elements into their relationship without fully checking in with geno first, then circling back and making it right when he truly pushes too far—every single word of this fic is delicious. the edging sid puts geno through, the frank, graphic regard and appreciation sid has for geno's body, geno's clear desperation for what sid's offering to do—well. all i can really say is, read this one at home, because between the achingly sweet relationship development woven in with the scorching-hot smut—i cannot guarantee that you'll keep your poker face intact!

After being drafted in the third round in the NHL, Shouji has two more years of college before moving on to playing professional hockey like he's always wanted. Or at least like he always thought he wanted. An injury that ends his season throws him into a tailspin, forcing him to take a look at his life and how he is going to live it, especially after meeting his fascinating new goth history tutor.”

(This bad bitch is 81k total and is chock full of my red hot hockey takes and midwestern references.  I love it very much and it is a sweet baby.)

(I hyperfocused so hard at the idea of Mic as a metal head that I wrote this in seven straight hours and WROTE THROUGH THE ATTEMPTED COUP ON DEMOCRACY WITHOUT KNOWING IT.  It’s a bit rough, but it’s got some good parts and it spawned the whole damn series.)

(I fished this one out of the garbage of my Google Docs because I’d written most of it and forgotten about it.  I dragged it out, prettied it up a little and threw it up on AO3.  It is by far my most well read BNHA fic, go figure.)

(I wrote a paragraph of this and was immediately like ‘I MUST CREATE THIS’.  I take some chances writing wise in this as the whole thing is done in a Victorian Era ish style of writing.  But I think it’s effective and the ending is likely one of the best that I’ve ever managed.  I’m proud of it.)

(I listened to Silence by Marshmello until I went insane in this is the result.  Featuring some of my super depressing headcanons about Shouji!  But it’s not awful.)

But instead, it had given a little hoot and wiggled inside, only to drop it’s letter on the counter.

He turned his head very slowly back to look at his mother, who had suddenly gone very quiet. “It… just showed up, Mama. And um. It brought a letter.” He waited again, looked back at the owl who had begun to nose at the pirozhkis in interest and then looked back at his mother with the best puppy dog eyes he had ever attempted. “Can I keep it?”

(This is a part of my hockey/Harry Potter au that still legitimately haunts my dreams.  It’s basically a Sid/Geno in Hogwarts but I really love the world building I got to do with Koldovstoretz, the Russian school of wizardry.  Don’t read ‘On the Word of a Slytherin’ though, I’m not as proud of that one.)

My Saigenos Headcanons

You know, I’ve come to realize that I have certain headcanons that almost always appear whenever I write a Saigenos fic. It doesn’t matter what I’m writing, whether it’s angst or fluff or smut, this stuff shows up. So, I decided to write that shit down and share it with y’all.

 Genos’ equivalence to blushing/being flustered is steam coming off of his arms. I call it “the tea kettle thing”. Dude’s ruined so many shirts.

Genos’ eyes are bright and they glow in the dark. They remind Saitama of stars (which is why I use [inter]galactic/stellar/celestial/etc to describe them)

Saitama still has bouts of depression   

Saitama likes to run his fingers through Genos’ hair and he thinks his hair is wonderfully soft

Genos’ core kind of sounds like a laptop running. The sound drifts louder or softer as time goes on

Genos doesn’t exactly use ‘Sensei’ all the time. He typically uses it when he’s excited/worried/serious/etc.

Saitama likes how warm Genos is and he thinks his temperature is akin to a low running heater

Genos sings to Saitama sometimes, whether to help him sleep or cheer him up

Sometimes Saitama gets struck by how down right gorgeous Genos is and he’s caught staring at him sometimes

Genos has slight spikes of anxiety that he thinks he knows how to handle. He doesn’t
