DC makes me so feral for so many characters lol. Will I get to all these in this lifetime? Probably not but hey a girl can dream!!

Fairy Tale AU: 2 parts out so far.

Villian Addict: Probs the most self-indulgent thing(s) I've ever written. It's literally about the reader being their henchwoman/Harley Quinn equivalent. And how they slowly start to fall dangerously in love with her.

Hero's Fangirl: I NEED to get Tim's part out, it's been gnawing at my brain like crazy!! Dick's part is literally just cute vibes there is no plot. Bruce's part is just pure angst and I'm frothing at the mouth to write it!!

DC comic HC: Pt1 out, Pt 2 & 3 soon to come.

Yandere! Batboys x Villian! Reader: just Batman x Catwoman in 5 different fonts. I've been seriously so enamored with the dynamic between Bruce and Selina (especially from the animated series) that I really want to explore the other batboys taking after their father and falling for a villain/anti-hero reader. I guess technically I did that with Yandere! Jason x reader

Especially a Yandere!Damian Wayne x Catgirl! Reader. It'd be so delicious to write an incarnation of Catwoman and Batman, exploring a macabre romance that bleeds from generation to generation. Some never-ending loop of doomed romance destined to happen.

Idk how well it relates but this story has been scratching my brain deliciously for the last couple of days. Hear me out Batsis! Reader x Harvey Dent. The twist is that she's so obsessed with her dad's (ex?) best friend but after they spend some time together, he starts to develop borderline-lethal feelings for her. Just a Yandere version of she fell first but he fell harder trope.

There are like 50+ other stuff for non-batfamily/bat-rogues characters I want to write but those are mostly one-shots. I should probs make a proper master for all these lol.

Anyway let me know if anyone ever wants to discuss these stories/wips or which ones you guys like more so I can get to work on them lol.

got the craziest idea. hear me out chat. you know those promises you make with your best friends when you’re both young?? it’s so silly and sweet, but the words ultimately mean nothing—

“promise me if we’re still alone in twenty years, let’s get married to each other.”

“i promise.”

—to you, at least.

you moved on, from not only that promise you made, but the person you made it with as well. you moved away far beyond his reach when you got older and wiser and realised that actually, the way he touched you and spoke to you and promised you he’d kill everyone who looked your way? that wasn’t okay.

and so you left; and he’ll be the first to admit… it worked. for years, he had no idea where you’d gone. he searched desperately, always keeping an eye out for his darling childhood friend, but whilst his life was consumed by your abrupt absence��� you had forgotten him entirely.

you’d forgotten all about the sickeningly sweet declarations of his obsessive affection, and the violent threats he’d always make towards anyone who ever so much as spared you a passing glance. at some point, you’d forgotten what it even was that you’d run from in the first place.

well, until he shows up on your front door, twenty years later, with a ring in one pocket, and a pair of handcuffs in the other—

—he’s going to cuff you, one way or another.

just let this be your lesson not to make promises you can’t keep, next time. :)

Okay so I've been thinking about this for a while and decided to give it a try. But I was thinking of posting my fics on tiktok. I don't use tiktok that much so does anyone know if "x reader" content even exists there? Like is it worth the effort or not?

Was kinda thinking of starting off with posting my DC fic + some Genshin HC and then taking some requests from there, maybe making a few edits. I seriously need someone to tell me if this is a good idea or not, I'm so torn. 😭😭

Favorite kind of character: silly guy who is whimsical and an all around adorable goofball, save for some specific moments when you're reminded they're in fact a supernatural being/Eldritch Abomination, and is perfectly capable of being terrifying.

Something I keep coming back to when thinking about Jamil is that, among the OB! Students, he might be the one who’s twisted from a disney “good guy” as much (or even more) than from the respective villain. And yes, I’m well aware that none of the characters are very one-note Disney villain, but with Jamil it just strikes such a chord with me.

Of course, he represents Jafar who has always resented being second best and who betrays the sultan to overtake the Nr. 1 position and all the power that comes with it. And during Book 4 (and now also Book 7), we can see Jamil equally backstabbing Kalim and planning to continue with the other housewardens and the headmage. That’s not a hot take, I understand that (whaaaat Jamil is twisted from Jafar?? Who would’ve guessed /j)

But with Jamil, I feel like his motivation for striving for power is a little different. For someone who has grown up in the world of the Asim family and has been with Kalim his entire life, I believe Jamil equates power with his actual goal in life: freedom.

So when he says “You really are my genie of the lamp, Azul” it felt sooo ironic to me, because it’s you! You are the genie, Jamil!

Just like the Genie’s “phenomenal cosmic power, but itty-bitty living space”, Jamil objectively has a lot of intelligence, talent and drive to excel at something, yet the space he has in which he can live and cultivate those aspects of his personality is very, very limited.

Both characters are also forced into their prison by the circumstances of their birth. Jamil was born into the Viper family, Genie was born a genie, and now they have to spend a lifetime of granting the wishes of other people.

For them to gain the freedom they so desperately want, both characters rely on the mercy of the people they serve, who they are useful to. But deep down they know their wish won’t ever be granted.

Genie has been promised his freedom a lot of times, just for the person’s third wish to be for their own gain after all when push comes to shove. Jamil has heard Kalim call him his best friend, just to turn around the next second and demand something else of him, wielding his power over him once more.

Besides, even if Kalim did give Jamil his freedom (if he even can, considering his family might step in), it’s shown that Jamil cares very deeply for his family, so I don’t think he would consider it “freedom” if his family was still serving the Asim household, which has an even slimmer chance of ever changing.

So yeah, I find the inspiration Jamil’s character takes from the Genie so interesting and at the same time it makes me want to tear out my heart. Please, he deserves so much (peace and quiet most of all) and I want to give him everything ㅠㅠ

this is so funny as a trans guy because Sam is Me, and I am Sam, and we are one in the same. he is so relatable

sam is so obviously transgender to me... the mullet, the band, the skateboarding... i just know he has a faint t-stache and stupid tattoos, too. the way ive met multiple trans mascs that fit this description (myself included), all in dead-end jobs 🥲 One Of Us
