I think about five fingers being a recessive trait and six fingers being a dominant trait far too often.

People With Unique Genetic Traits That Show How Unpredictable Nature Can Be - Brenda Miller
Every single person is born with their own unique traits, however, the genes that are passed on to us may sometimes be stronger than usual. From looking almost the same as an ancestor, to having different colored eyes, or being born with both blonde and brown hair at the same time, there are some unique people out there. Take a look at some of the most unusual and powerful genetic traits people experience worldwide, and be prepared to be amazed!
Siblings Who Inherited The Genes From Opposite Side
Yet another case of siblings who look like they belong in two totally different families. In this case, the boys’ dad is Irish and the mom is Italian, and they couldn’t have been born more different. While one got the traits of the family’s Italian side, the other boy couldn’t look more Irish. Needless to say that thanks to their opposing genes, when the two of them walk around together no one really thinks they are brothers.
These Twins Who Born To Biracial Parents
If you’re an avid internet reader, you have probably seen the picture of twins Lucy and Maria Aylmer before. The two of them made it to the news when their unique genetic traits took people completely by surprise. The twins were born to biracial parents, and while one of them took one parent’s side of the family, the other twin took the other side. We’re pretty sure that people have a hard time believing that the two girls are indeed twins, born from the same mother and father at the very same time.
This Guy Who Did Not Inherit his Father’s Genes
While we’ve seen a bunch of people on this list who have inherited their parents’ unique genes, some people get the polar opposite. Like this guy for example. We’re pretty sure that when he’s walking around shopping alongside his dad, not many people realize that they are father and son. Apparently, the DNA situation was a huge curveball in this one, and he ended up growing into the polar opposite of his dad.
These Sisters Were Born With Opposite Genes
You might have never heard about it, but it turns out that any of us could be born with the genes of one parent, and our sibling with genes from the other parent. That’s what happened to these two sisters. One of their parents is Irish, and the other one is Italian. Clearly, each sister inherited only one side. The result? They look like polar opposites!
When The Genes Are Simply Too Dominant
We’ve all heard and probably seen families where one parent's genes are extremely strong. This family is probably the perfect example of this. Just after one look, there is absolutely no doubt that these girls are sisters. Their mom’s red hair genes prevailed, and we can only imagine how they will continue being dominant in the generations to come.

Not to be spammy, but . . .
It's not just me. I'm not the only one with a "he's broken inside" hypothesis when it comes to Trump. Consider this guy:
The short of it is: okay, we aren't doctors here, but we citizens DO have freedom of speech still when it comes to public figures. So how is it that a rich guy can run for President not once but TWICE, and yet it's still taboo to talk about how "out of his fucking mind" he appears to be some days? Calling for a riot against Congress and still taboo. 34 felony counts later with more to come, still taboo.
And how many of his family members have jumped out of the woodwork now, in the most "pick MEE !!" fashion possible? Ten?
Look, I have studied some biology and genetics before. At least enough to know that mixed dominance of traits is a thing. Meaning if you get a gene from one parent, it turns out one way, from both parents means another, and from neither at all means a third.
The simple version of it can apply to eye colors: --no recessive genes means you get brown eyes, generally, --one gene from each parent (two total) gets you full dominance and blue eyes, generally, --while one gene from only one parent (one total) gets you mixed dominance and green eyes.
And yes, it's more complicated than that, because there's more eye colors in humans than that, meaning multiple genes involved. But the same concept can be applied to mental health issues, especially when there's evidence that a condition runs in a family, as per the Trumps.
Meaning it's possible that one personality disorder, for example, histrionic disorder (basically the "pick MEE" disorder, you have the toxic ego, but DON'T think you're good enough, ever), can run in a whole family as a mixed dominance (like green eyes) and things are fine . . .
Until a guy gets the blue eyes (doubled trait from both parents dominant) and the narcissistic or anti-social personality disorder (again, full expression and full dominance). Combine that with a profoundly toxic (if not abusive) upbringing, and you get an authoritarian like Trump, according to the family life outlined in the first book about Donald Trump. Maybe not the most competent of dictators, but definitely motivated on his "MY WAY or the HIGHWAY" trip.
And yes, that's the simple version. It would take a trained doctor to cough up a full diagnosis. And doctors are loathe to diagnose people they haven't met personally on the basis of behavior alone, because most of them are rational, lawsuit-fearing people. Most of them aren't nobodies on the ragged edge of oblivion like myself, with nothing to lose. Lucky you, you've got me, saying the unpopular, divisive thing that's somewhat likely to be the truth and a half.
No, there's reasons why the movie based on "The Apprentice" isn't being released. It's not just that the guy who funded the movie is Trumpy as fuck and doesn't like the film--it's that the thing would provide more evidence of some manner of mental health disorder, whatever it may be.
So there's that, I'm sad to say.

The thing is, siblings don't always look alike. My brother and I (who have the same parents btw) really don't look alike at all. But you can look at our parents and see who got which features from whom.
Like I got our Mom's grey eyes and he got our Dad's brown eyes. But I got Dad's eye shape and eyebrows and my brother got Mom's. He also got her nose (lucky him) while I got Dad's. I got Mom's hair (started off blond and gradually darkened though mine stayed a medium brown and hers had darkened to dark brown) and he got Dad's hair (always medium brown with a reddish beard). I got Mom's chin, he got Dad's. I got Dad's feet, he got Mom's. And on and on. So in the end we don't really resemble each other much but we're most definitely siblings.
/:The casting on spn is insane because Jared and Jensen don’t look like brothers BUT they do both look kind of like Jeffrey Morgan and Samantha Smith like……..how did they do that.lol. //
I agree quite a bit with this anon. J2 don’t look that alike, but they do have some common features or similarity. They both have dimples, though Jared’s are more pronounced. They both have pretty eyes in the green to hazel range. They both have a slight cleft in their chins. Jensen has freckles and jared has sort of mole thing. The biggest difference to me is their brows and noses. I think there is enough similarity there to but that they could be related, even though they don’t look that alike to me. But I agree, they look like Dam and Jeffrey could be their parents.
you analyzed this so much I'm impressed I don't think I've ever thought of their faces this much 😭

Listen I just think it be funny if given how much of a conquering fuckboy Bingge was that in some distant future where he's like historical figure people barely remember you do a DNA test and find out you have like 1% heavenly demon and its treated with all the modern weight and gravitas of finding Genghis Khan in your gene pool. Like congrats you inherited the fuckboy gene.
Like can you even imagine how much that would offend him to be reduced to a footnote and idle marker on a DNA family test? I'd say the man is rolling in his grave but we converted that man into a generator ages ago on account of all that turning.

Lis please give me your lecture about sociosexual hierarchy i want to know what you know about bullshit incel stuff
YAYYY YIPPIEE YAYYY
Tumblr media
first of all, have a scheme i made myself a while back to put everything I've gotten from hashtag Authentic Incel Blogs and YouTube Channels into a more coherent format. Rather than putting them all into one pyramid, i think it's more accurate to present alpha/beta/omega vertical separately from the other designations. This vertical is the basis of sociosexual hierarchy (hence also the part of it most people have heard about it) and it follows a very clear "chain of command" so to speak. Long text under the cut
Alpha males stand at the top, representing the ideal standard of masculinity. Alphas fight between each other over whos the better hashtag Role Model and are very competitive in general. Betas are a rank below, following the standard set by Alphas/looking up to them. Omegas fail to follow the standards set by Alphas and therefore resent them while still believing in the standart/the idea of dominant toxic masculinity alphas represent. There's a LOT of bioessentialism in the incel movement, so Omegas sort of are in a weird position where they simultaneously yearn to reach that masculine standard but also live with the grim acceptance that nothing in their lives could be changed ever and they will stay outcasts <- majority of incels are Omegas in their self imposed hierarchy thats their whole thing.
Less of an established vertical and more of an analogue connection I've made myself is the Sigma/Gamma thing. Those two types of guys are united by the fact that they ignore the masculine standard/social norms as they are directed at men. Sigmas are often presented as like "lone wolf" guys, who don't care about fighting for dominance with Alphas or being the standard etc etc, but they are still at the top of the hierarchy due to being cool like that. Gammas ignore the masculine standard all the same, but due to not being cool like that fall to the level of social rejection similar to Omegas. Incels (who are again, mostly Omegas) consider most "nice guys", "simps" and "white knights" Gammas, hate them a lot too and claim that most people who identify as Sigmas are actually just Gammas who lack self awareness.
Deltas are literally just normies. Your average person. Deltas don't know anything about the sociosexual hierarchy beyond the funny memes mentioning alphas on Tiktok. Oh how I wish to be one of them...
Zeta and Lambda males are a bit of a special case. In my scheme I grouped them together because I really didn't feel like bothering with explaining the whole deal beyond "both of them exist somewhere on the outside" but essentially. Zeta males also reject the "social" norms and exist outside of the hierarchy, with strong leaning towards the Man Hoing Their Own Way movement. Lambda males who fucking knows what their deal is. I have seen people claim they have their own separate hierarchy and are somewhat related to the pickup artists type, but "lambda males" are also a troll type of guy people made up to make fun of the sociosexual hierarchy so finding any info thay is 1) from the inside; 2) not trolling; 3) not some recently even more made up "lambdas are creative and sensitive ones💫" because. incels Would Not Say That; is very hard. I included them just for the sake of it but it's a bit dubious tbh.
Now let's discuss telling apart some closely related types of guys.
Sigma, Alpha or Zeta? Alphas naturally follow the standard of masculinity and represent it, Sigmas naturally and instinctively reject it, Zetas actively and purposefully reject it.
Beta or Delta? If you know what a Delta is, you are not one.
Omega or Gamma? Omegas try and fail at performing masculinity "correctly", Gammas don't try and naturally reject it (akin to Sigmas).

One bit of consistency I appreciate is that Jango Fett and anyone genetically connected to him cannot lie. They’re good at all kinds of things, most of them violent, but lying? Nothing can make them pull it off.

The idea of Armand having eds is soooo fun actually (2 me) …. Although ofc one of my first thoughts is “how could that have contributed to his imminently life-threatening illness as Amadeo” bc of course. In particular I think the possible vascular complications might be especially fitting… not just bc of yknow. Vampire. But bc during the 16th century there were so many infectious diseases that could affect the heart and blood vessels. Tuberculosis, Syphilis, Rheumatic Fever Any one of these can damage the heart and blood vessels on their own, but add to that having already weak vessels and tissues and greater potential autoimmune activation, and dire complications become that much more likely
