As the Launch Date Gets Closer, HWMonitor version 1.52, which was recently published, has included support for Intel’s future CPUs to assure that there will be no interruptions in support throughout the launch.
Core i9–14900K/KF (24c), Core i7–14700K/KF (20c), and Core i5–14600K/KF (14c) are the CPUs that are available from Intel.
Support for the new branding of the Intel Core 3, 5, 7, and Core Ultra 5, 7, 9 processors.
Initial support for Intel’s Meteor Lake architecture.
The AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT and 7700 XT (Navi 32) graphics processing units
For the benefit of those who are unaware, the featured models have not been seen publicly for the very first time; before, a Ukrainian store has posted information about them on their website.
The intricacies of the particular specs won’t be discussed here, but the following is an overview of what to anticipate from the updated Raptor Lake platform from Intel.
Identical Architecture to that of Raptor Lake (Raptor Cove P-Cores and Gracemont E-Cores).
Similar to that of Raptor Lake (Intel 7, also known as 10nm++) Process Node.
Support for Faster DDR5 Memory DIMMs and Higher Clock Speeds Above 6.0 GHz
Consumption of much more power (very close to 300W)
Compatibility With Already Existing Motherboards Using the LGA 1700 and 1800 Sockets
Additionally, compatibility with “Intel Core 3, 5, 7 and Core Ultra 5, 7, 9 new branding” is mentioned in the new version, which indicates that support for Intel Meteor Lake CPUs has also been included in this update. Even though it doesn’t name any particular SKUs, we are certain that once Meteor Lake is really released, everything will proceed in the typical manner, with incremental support being added for all models.
This is something we are assured of. If you are not familiar with Meteor Lake’s capabilities, you should know that the processors are going to revolutionise the industry by easily breaking over the 5 GHz barrier. If you are not familiar with Meteor Lake, you should know that the processors are going to change the business.
CPU Architecture with VTriple-Hybrid Components (P/E/LP-E Cores)
Completely Remodelled Redwood Cove (P-Cores)!
Completely Remodelled Crestmont (E-Cores)!
CPUs in the H/P Series can support up to 14 cores (6+8), while those in the U Series can support up to 12 cores (4+8).
TSMC for the tGPU, and Intel 4 Process Node for the CPU
The Intel ‘Xe-MTL’ GPU, Capable of Supporting Up to 128 EUs
Support for up to LPDDR5X-7467 and DDR5–5200, with capacities of up to 96 GB for DDR5 and 64 GB for LPDDR5X respectively

Good Charlotte with The Dose, Boston Manor and Sleeping With Sirens in Alexandra Palace, London (20/02/2019)
The Dose
Dynamic duo from Los Angeles opened the show and took the audience for a ride through 90s with their grunge influenced rock. With hoarse and powerful vocals of Indio Downey and fast paced drums (the kind when drummer's arms turn into blur when you try to trace the movement of his arms) of Ralph Alexander it was a pretty good start of the evening. Soulful ballads and boasting with energy monumental rock anthems blend into quite fascinating and irresistible mix.
Boston Manor
This band from Blackpool brought gritty, raw punk rock energy with a bit of pop twist and no compromise attitude. Unapologetic lyrics that cut through you deep with extremely energetic and catchy tunes (like 'Halo') that makes you wanna jump, move to the beat. It's a fascinating mix of unpolished, rough vibe with light, pop side you can't resist. And their live shows are simply fire, 'cause they're giving it all to make sure people are having a good time.
Sleeping with Sirens
Very passionate, joyous performance (they were definitely enjoying their time onstage and doing pretty good job inflicting the joy on the crowd), surprisingly lighter in sound than I expected. 'Surprising' being the key word for the night – Kellin's [Quinn, singer] vocals were mind blowing. Another rock musician reaching towards pop/r&b roots and delivering memorable performance, the kind that gives you chills through your spine, because it's so good.
Also surprising, because it's another band that's not afraid to tackle the mental health issues (some might say that it's become a sort of trend to address it, but even if so it's still better that it's being talked about, especially by male role models, male musicians, 'cause it's been way too long those problems along with toxic masculinity were swept under the rug and people shamed instead of helped). So even a little gesture like song dedication for people who struggle with anxiety and depression can mean much more, because some might realize that they're not alone in this fight.
Anyway the show was intense, hectic at times – but it only showed the crowd had a good time and was more than ready for Good Charlotte.
Good Charlotte
It's obviously not their first rodeo but they seem humble and grateful every time I see them, every time they express how lucky they feel that they're allowed to carry on the journey and every time they deliver a fantastic show no matter the size of the venue, no matter the amount of people gather in front of them. Obviously bigger venue helps with going an extra mile and have pyro, killer lights and fireworks (which scare the shit out of you when they explode in thousand of sparkles with loud bang above your head) but it's the songs and stories that keep the show going. Like 'Hold On' which gets me every time, especially when I can't find strength to hold on and carry on. It's kind of an anthem for the broken and people sing their heart out just as they did that night in Alexandra Palace. Just like they did when they heard first tunes of 'Anthem' or 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous'. Good Charlotte always had songs that tap to your deepest fears, emotions. Hearing these live you can't contain in, you can't believe how close to home they hit so you sing your pain away ('Self Help', Actual Pain', ‘Shadowboxer’). You name it and talk about it, start the healing process in a way – which seems to be leitmotif for Good Charlotte’s latest album 'Generation Rx'.
Joel and Benji Madden always talked about emotions and problems they encountered, found the way that appealed to many and that created strong bond and keeps old guard beside them and welcomes new recruits into their ranks. They're not afraid of mixing styles, reaching to different genres to create something new so their pop punk/ punk rock anthems merged with energetic dance beats and electro pop tunes (like in 'Keep Your Hands Off My Girl' or ‘Dance Floor Anthem’ when the crowd went mental, got lost in sounds), they play with it, have fun and the crowd with them. The storytelling in the lyrics flares the dramatic side and you just get invested in it ('The Story of My Old Man', 'Predictable').
After all these years onstage they never cease to surprise: among all the songs you hope they'll be there or you know they'll be there there appear something old ('WaldorfWorldwide', which wasn't played in... 16 years!) and unexpected new ('Leech' – it was its debut live in Alexandra Palace and Sam Carter from Architects was the very special guest to make it even more special).
It was a celebration of decades of music, it was that moment that you felt that you belonged somewhere, your teenage angst and adult anxiety, fun times and sad all packed in fantastic show.
Setlist:

Last night I got high and wrote a program to find all of the unused elemental symbols. It turns out there’s 585 of them and it’s much less interesting the next day.
One interesting finding: I couldn’t be bothered to generate all possible one and two letter strings, so I asked ChatGPT to write me code that would do all that for me. It worked surprisingly well!
['a', 'd', 'e', 'g', 'h', 'j', 'l', 'm', 'q', 'r', 't', 'x', 'z', 'aa', 'ab', 'ad', 'ae', 'af', 'ah', 'ai', 'aj', 'ak', 'an', 'ao', 'ap', 'aq', 'av', 'aw', 'ax', 'ay', 'az', 'bb', 'bc', 'bd', 'bf', 'bg', 'bj', 'bl', 'bm', 'bn', 'bo', 'bp', 'bq', 'bs', 'bt', 'bu', 'bv', 'bw', 'bx', 'by', 'bz', 'cb', 'cc', 'cg', 'ch', 'ci', 'cj', 'ck', 'cp', 'cq', 'ct', 'cv', 'cw', 'cx', 'cy', 'cz', 'da', 'dc', 'dd', 'de', 'df', 'dg', 'dh', 'di', 'dj', 'dk', 'dl', 'dm', 'dn', 'do', 'dp', 'dq', 'dr', 'dt', 'du', 'dv', 'dw', 'dx', 'dz', 'ea', 'eb', 'ec', 'ed', 'ee', 'ef', 'eg', 'eh', 'ei', 'ej', 'ek', 'el', 'em', 'en', 'eo', 'ep', 'eq', 'et', 'ev', 'ew', 'ex', 'ey', 'ez', 'fa', 'fb', 'fc', 'fd', 'ff', 'fg', 'fh', 'fi', 'fj', 'fk', 'fn', 'fo', 'fp', 'fq', 'fs', 'ft', 'fu', 'fv', 'fw', 'fx', 'fy', 'fz', 'gb', 'gc', 'gf', 'gg', 'gh', 'gi', 'gj', 'gk', 'gl', 'gm', 'gn', 'go', 'gp', 'gq', 'gr', 'gs', 'gt', 'gu', 'gv', 'gw', 'gx', 'gy', 'gz', 'ha', 'hb', 'hc', 'hd', 'hh', 'hi', 'hj', 'hk', 'hl', 'hm', 'hn', 'hp', 'hq', 'hr', 'ht', 'hu', 'hv', 'hw', 'hx', 'hy', 'hz', 'ia', 'ib', 'ic', 'id', 'ie', 'if', 'ig', 'ih', 'ii', 'ij', 'ik', 'il', 'im', 'io', 'ip', 'iq', 'is', 'it', 'iu', 'iv', 'iw', 'ix', 'iy', 'iz', 'ja', 'jb', 'jc', 'jd', 'je', 'jf', 'jg', 'jh', 'ji', 'jj', 'jk', 'jl', 'jm', 'jn', 'jo', 'jp', 'jq', 'jr', 'js', 'jt', 'ju', 'jv', 'jw', 'jx', 'jy', 'jz', 'ka', 'kb', 'kc', 'kd', 'ke', 'kf', 'kg', 'kh', 'ki', 'kj', 'kk', 'kl', 'km', 'kn', 'ko', 'kp', 'kq', 'ks', 'kt', 'ku', 'kv', 'kw', 'kx', 'ky', 'kz', 'lb', 'lc', 'ld', 'le', 'lf', 'lg', 'lh', 'lj', 'lk', 'll', 'lm', 'ln', 'lo', 'lp', 'lq', 'ls', 'lt', 'lw', 'lx', 'ly', 'lz', 'ma', 'mb', 'me', 'mf', 'mh', 'mi', 'mj', 'mk', 'ml', 'mm', 'mp', 'mq', 'mr', 'ms', 'mu', 'mv', 'mw', 'mx', 'my', 'mz', 'nc', 'nf', 'ng', 'nj', 'nk', 'nl', 'nm', 'nn', 'nq', 'nr', 'ns', 'nt', 'nu', 'nv', 'nw', 'nx', 'ny', 'nz', 'oa', 'ob', 'oc', 'od', 'oe', 'of', 'oh', 'oi', 'oj', 'ok', 'ol', 'om', 'on', 'oo', 'op', 'oq', 'or', 'ot', 'ou', 'ov', 'ow', 'ox', 'oy', 'oz', 'pc', 'pe', 'pf', 'pg', 'ph', 'pi', 'pj', 'pk', 'pl', 'pn', 'pp', 'pq', 'ps', 'pv', 'pw', 'px', 'py', 'pz', 'qa', 'qb', 'qc', 'qd', 'qe', 'qf', 'qg', 'qh', 'qi', 'qj', 'qk', 'ql', 'qm', 'qn', 'qo', 'qp', 'qq', 'qr', 'qs', 'qt', 'qu', 'qv', 'qw', 'qx', 'qy', 'qz', 'rc', 'rd', 'ri', 'rj', 'rk', 'rl', 'rm', 'ro', 'rp', 'rq', 'rr', 'rs', 'rt', 'rv', 'rw', 'rx', 'ry', 'rz', 'sa', 'sd', 'sf', 'sh', 'sj', 'sk', 'sl', 'so', 'sp', 'sq', 'ss', 'st', 'su', 'sv', 'sw', 'sx', 'sy', 'sz', 'td', 'tf', 'tg', 'tj', 'tk', 'tn', 'to', 'tp', 'tq', 'tr', 'tt', 'tu', 'tv', 'tw', 'tx', 'ty', 'tz', 'ua', 'ub', 'uc', 'ud', 'ue', 'uf', 'ug', 'uh', 'ui', 'uj', 'uk', 'ul', 'um', 'un', 'uo', 'up', 'uq', 'ur', 'us', 'ut', 'uu', 'uv', 'uw', 'ux', 'uy', 'uz', 'va', 'vb', 'vc', 'vd', 've', 'vf', 'vg', 'vh', 'vi', 'vj', 'vk', 'vl', 'vm', 'vn', 'vo', 'vp', 'vq', 'vr', 'vs', 'vt', 'vu', 'vv', 'vw', 'vx', 'vy', 'vz', 'wa', 'wb', 'wc', 'wd', 'we', 'wf', 'wg', 'wh', 'wi', 'wj', 'wk', 'wl', 'wm', 'wn', 'wo', 'wp', 'wq', 'wr', 'ws', 'wt', 'wu', 'wv', 'ww', 'wx', 'wy', 'wz', 'xa', 'xb', 'xc', 'xd', 'xf', 'xg', 'xh', 'xi', 'xj', 'xk', 'xl', 'xm', 'xn', 'xo', 'xp', 'xq', 'xr', 'xs', 'xt', 'xu', 'xv', 'xw', 'xx', 'xy', 'xz', 'ya', 'yc', 'yd', 'ye', 'yf', 'yg', 'yh', 'yi', 'yj', 'yk', 'yl', 'ym', 'yn', 'yo', 'yp', 'yq', 'yr', 'ys', 'yt', 'yu', 'yv', 'yw', 'yx', 'yy', 'yz', 'za', 'zb', 'zc', 'zd', 'ze', 'zf', 'zg', 'zh', 'zi', 'zj', 'zk', 'zl', 'zm', 'zo', 'zp', 'zq', 'zs', 'zt', 'zu', 'zv', 'zw', 'zx', 'zy', 'zz']

Neosporin ointment has neomycin, bacitracin, and polymyxin B.
Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that displays bactericidal activity against gram-negative aerobic bacilli and some anaerobic bacilli where resistance has not yet arisen. It is generally not effective against gram-positive bacilli and anaerobic gram-negative bacilli. Neomycin comes in oral and topical formulations, including creams, ointments, and eyedrops. Neomycin belongs to the aminoglycoside class of antibiotics that contain two or more amino sugars connected by glycosidic bonds.
Neomycin's antibacterial activity stems from its binding to the 30S subunit of the prokaryotic ribosome, where it inhibits prokaryotic translation of mRNA. [So it inhibits protein synthesis].
Neomycin also exhibits a high binding affinity for phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2), a phospholipid component of cell membranes.
Polymyxin B, sold under the brand name Poly-Rx among others, is an antibiotic used to treat meningitis, pneumonia, sepsis, and urinary tract infections. While it is useful for many Gram negative infections, it is not useful for Gram positive infections. It can be given by injection into a vein, muscle, or cerebrospinal fluid or inhaled. The injectable form is generally only used if other options are not available. It is also available as the combinations bacitracin/polymyxin B and neomycin/polymyxin B/bacitracin for use on the skin [Neosporin!].
Common side effects when given by injection include kidney problems, neurological problems, fever, itchiness, and rash. Injections into muscle may result in significant pain. Other serious side effects may include fungal infections, anaphylaxis, and muscle weakness. It is unclear if use during pregnancy is safe for the baby. Polymyxin B works by breaking down the cytoplasmic membrane which generally results in bacterial cell death.
Polymyxin B was approved for medical use in the United States in 1964.[1] It is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines. It is available as a generic medication. In Europe it is only approved to be applied to the skin as of 2015. It is derived from the bacterium Paenibacillus polymyxa (formerly known as Bacillus polymyxa).
1 .Alters bacterial outer membrane permeability by binding to a negatively charged site in the lipopolysaccharide layer, which has an electrostatic attraction for the positively charged amino groups in the cyclic peptide portion (this site normally is a binding site for calcium and magnesium counter ions); the result is a destabilized outer membrane 2. Fatty acid portion dissolves in hydrophobic region of cytoplasmic membrane and disrupts membrane integrity
3. Leakage of cellular molecules, inhibition of cellular respiration
4. Binds and inactivates endotoxin
5. Relative absence of selective toxicity: nonspecific for cell membranes of any type, highly toxic.
Removal of the hydrophobic tail of polymyxin B yields polymyxin nonapeptide (PMBN), which still binds to LPS, but no longer kills the bacterial cell. However, it still detectably increases the permeability of the bacterial cell wall to other antibiotics, indicating that it still causes some degree of membrane disorganization.
Bacitracin is a polypeptide antibiotic. It is a mixture of related cyclic peptides produced by Bacillus licheniformis bacteria, that was first isolated from the variety "Tracy I" (ATCC 10716) in 1945. These peptides disrupt Gram-positive bacteria by interfering with cell wall and peptidoglycan synthesis.
Bacitracin is primarily used as a topical preparation, as it can cause kidney damage when used internally. It is generally safe when used topically, but in rare cases may cause hypersensitivity, allergic or anaphylactic reactions, especially in patient allergic to neomycin.
Bacitracin interferes with the dephosphorylation of C55-isoprenyl pyrophosphate, and a related molecule known as bactoprenol pyrophosphate; both of these lipids function as membrane carrier molecules that transport the building-blocks of the peptidoglycan bacterial cell wall outside of the inner membrane.
Some have claimed that bacitracin is a protein disulfide isomerase inhibitor, but this is disputed by in vitro studies.

5. General Rules 5.1. All transmitters, receivers, and amplifiers must be within a single 500-meter diameter circle. Antennas must be physically connected by RF transmission lines to the transmitters and receivers, except as described in 5.1.5.
5.1.1. Remote operation is permitted if the physical location of all transmitters, receivers, and antennas are at one station location as described in 5.1. A remotely operated station must obey all station license, operator license, and category limitations. The call sign used must be one issued or permitted by the Regulatory Authority of the station location.
5.1.2. The use of QSO finding assistance (DX cluster, CW Skimmer etc) is allowed for all entries.
5.1.3. The use of any calls other than participant’s for any reason including keeping the run frequency on any band, making schedules, DX-spotting, moving the multipliers is prohibited.
5.1.4. Self-spotting or soliciting contacts by any means other than amateur radio is prohibited.
5.1.5. The use of one and only one remote receiver located within 25 kilometers of the main transmitter site is permitted, in addition to the receiver at the transmitter site is allowed for all entries.
5.1.6. The use of any remote receivers other than described in 5.1.5 are prohibited. Violators will be subject to disqualification.
5.2. Single Operator participants may change bands and modes without restrictions. Only one signal can be transmitted at any given time.
5.2.1. Single Operator categories: one person (the operator) performs all operating, logging and spotting functions. Any assistance will result in reclassification into the Multi Operator category or disqualification at the discretion of the contest committee.
5.3. MOST stations are subject to a 10 minutes band change rule. Mode change within current band is allowed without limitations.
5.3.1. Start time is determined by the time of the first QSO made on the band. The band may be changed after 10 full minutes have elapsed.
5.3.2. Only one signal can be transmitted at any given time. Exception: two signals on two different bands are allowed if (and only if) the station on another (and only one) “multiplier” band works a new multiplier.
5.3.3. The “multiplier” transmitter is subject to its own 10 minute rule for band changes as described in 5.3.1.
5.3.4. Contacts which violate band change rules, should be clearly marked in the log with an X-QSO: key (as per 11.11 ). They will neither be counted nor penalized for an entrant, but will be counted for the station contacted.
5.3.5. Tampering with the QSO time to comply with the 10 minute rule (“rubber clocking) will result in disqualification.
5.4. MO2T (Multi Op, Two transmitters): A maximum of two transmitted signals at any time on different bands. Each transmitter may make a maximum of 8 band changes in any clock hour (00 through 59 minutes). For example, a change from 40 meters to 80 meters and then back to 40 meters constitutes two band changes. Both transmitters may work any and all stations. A station may be worked twice per band (CW and SSB) regardless of which transmitter is used.
5.5. MM (Multi Op, Multi transmitters): A maximum of six transmitted signals, one per band at any one time. All equipment (transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, antennas, etc.) must be located in same DXCC entity, including remotely controlled equipment. Six bands may be activated simultaneously. Use a separate serial number sequence for each band. Limits in 5.1 do not apply.
5.6. All MIXED categories entrants can work the same station twice per band (CW and SSB).
6. Exchange: 6.1. Non-Russian stations: signal report + QSO number, starting with 001.
6.2. Multioperator (MOST, MO2T, MM) may alternativley use separate serial numbers for each band.
6.3. Russian stations: signal report + oblast code as per attached list.
7. QSO Points. 7.1. Russian stations:
QSO with your own country (Russia on your continent) – 2 points,
QSO with Russia on another continent – 5 points,
QSO with a different country on your continent – 3 points,
QSO with another continent – 5 points.
7.2. Non-Russian stations:
QSO with Russian station – 10 points,
QSO with your own country – 2 points,
QSO with a different country on your continent – 3 points,
QSO with another continent – 5 points.
7.3. Kaliningrad (UA2F), Franz Josef Land (RI1FJ) and Russian Antarctic stations (RI1AN) each count as a separate DXCC entity and a separate Oblast (double multiplier) with Kaliningrad counts as European Russia for scoring purposes.
7.4. Maritime mobile (“/MM”) stations do not count as multipliers and score 5 points for all participants.
7.5. SWL points are calculated along the same principles as described in 7.1 and 7.2.
8. Dupes 8.1. Dupes are contacts made with the same station on the same band and mode. If the first contact between stations is valid, dupes have 0 points value. If the first contact is not valid, then second (dupe) contact is accepted.
8.2. Dupe contacts are not penalized; they do not have to be marked in the log. All entrants are strongly recommended to leave DUPES in the log.
9. Multipliers There are two types of multipliers:
One multiplier for each different oblast contacted on each band, including UA2F, RI1FJ and RI1AN as per 7.3.
One multiplier for each different country (DXCC entity list + WAE multipliers list) contacted on each band.
10. Final Score 10.1. The final score is the result of the total QSO points multiplied by the sum of oblast and country multipliers.
11. General Log Submission Requirements 11.1. Logs are accepted in CABRILLO file format only.
11.2. Filename of your log should be yourcall.log or .cbr. Example: UA1AAA.log.
11.3. If a competitor claims two separate bands in the SOSB category (as per 3.1 ) these two bands should be clearly marked. Example: CATEGORY-BAND: 10m, 15m.
11.4. Russian stations will include their RDA in the LOCATION: field.

11.8. The header of the electronic log must specify entry category and your full mailing address to receive the awards.
11.9. Multioperator logs (MOST and MO2T) must identify which transmitter made each QSO. For MOST entries RUN =0, MULT =1. For MO2T entries RUN1 = 0, RUN2 = 1. Alternative identifcation is not allowed. The logs without such identification will be reclassified to Check Log.
11.10. Logs aiming for the top 3 position in any contest category (excluding SWL entry) must indicate the frequency of every QSO made (using transceiver CAT) with a minimum resolution of 1 kHz.
11.11 Any QSO marked with the key X-QSO: will be ignored in your log and credit will be given to the other station.
12. Log Submission Deadline 12.1. Logs must be submitted to the contest sponsors within 14 days after the end of the contest (until 23:59 UTC on 04.04.2021).

ICYMI: Here Are 12 Newsworthy Items You May Have Missed Over The Holidays
Hello everybody and happy new year! While getting back into the swing of things here at the office (aka our house), we noticed a handful of exciting things have been announced while we were off the grid safely celebrating the holidays.
So, instead of pumping out article after article for you to comb through and catch up on, we thought we’d compile all the things you may have missed into one, easy-to-read post.
Let us begin:
GOOD CHARLOTTE DEBUT SOMBER NEW SINGLE “LAST DECEMBER”
For the first time since 2018′s sensational LP Generation Rx, Good Charlotte has returned with brand new music.
Written as a way to cope with the hard times as of late, guitarist Benji Madden says of the gloomy new single “Last December”:
“2020 being the 20th anniversary of our self-titled debut album really made us feel like we wanted to release something for those fans who’ve gone on this journey with us. The holidays can be a rough time of year - thinking of the ones we’ve lost and longing for moments that have passed us by is definitely a part of the joy and melancholy. For us, this song speaks to both sides of those holiday feelings and we hope it brings some solace to anyone who needs it.”
To check out the new track, see the video below.

AFI DETAIL PLANS FOR BRAND NEW ALBUM
View this post on Instagram
A post shared by AFI (@afireinside)
Great news AFI fans! Looking to follow up 2018′s five-track EP The Missing Man, Davey Havok and Co. have shared news regarding when you might hear some new music.
Taking to their socials, the band collectively shared: “With the end of a year that has been, at best, challenging for all, we have news that we hope may bring you some joy. Very soon, new songs shall be yours. Before the year’s end, our 11th album will follow. We could not be more happy with our latest work and hope you will feel the same. Thank you for joining us upon this next journey. We are thrilled to take it and honored to have you at our side.”
Anyone else excited for a new AFI album!?
††† (CROSSES) SURPRISE RELEASE CHILLING NEW COVER
As if a brand new Deftones album and 20th anniversary version of White Pony wasn’t enough, Chino Moreno concluded his 2020 with a brand new release from his thought-to-be-dormant project ††† (Crosses).
The song, which is a cover of Cause & Effect’s 1990 track “The Beginning Of The End,” is Moreno and guitarist Shaun Lopez’s first offering since their 2014 self-titled record.
To check out the track, see below.

FOO FIGHTERS DEBUT SECOND NEW SINGLE “NO SON OF MINE”
Continuing their promotional push for their forthcoming tenth studio album Medicine At Midnight, Foo Fighters have released their second new single.
Titled “No Son Of Mine” (and no, not an Every Time I Die cover), the latest from the hard rock staples leans much more on the louder side than their previous single “Shame Shame.”
To check out the new tune, see below.

FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE GO “BLUE” FOR NEW EIFEL 65 COVER
It’s not everyday you hear an Italian symphonic death metal band cover an Italian techno group but here we are.
Ending their 2020 on a colorful note, noisemakers Fleshgod Apocalypse released a stirring rendition of the 1998 hit “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” -- yes, you read that correctly.
Commenting on the mind-bending cover, frontman Francesco Paoli said, “After the amazing response over our latest single ‘No’ we wanted to release something that could make the end of this shitty 2020 a bit funnier for everyone. That’s why we took a popular dance track from the 90s and made it the heaviest, angriest, bloodiest party song ever.”
“We’re ready to blast your ears again in 2021,” Paoli noted, “stay tuned!”
To hear the cover, see below.

AS IT IS DRUMMER AND FUTURE FIREMAN PATRICK FOLEY DEPARTS FROM THE BAND
Bummer news As It Is fans: Founding drummer Patrick Foley has decided to step away from the band to take on a new heroic role as a firefighter.
The band took to their socials to share: “Our brother and friend Foley has decided to step back from As It Is, to pursue a brand new career as a fire fighter. We could not be more proud of him (and are keeping him on speed dial for when we next use pyro in a live show). All love, Patty, Ali, Ronnie x”

CANE HILL DEBUT DEVASTATING NEW SINGLE “KILL ME”
2021 is shaping up to be a busy year for Cane Hill. Continuing to churn out head-pounding singles, the New Orleans act recently released their blistering new track “Kill Me.”
Vocalist Elijah Witt commented on the song saying: "I think if this year [2020] has taught me anything, it's that this dreadful voice of negativity in my head is loudest when my life is quiet. Just like everyone else, my mental health has taken a steep decline this year, and giving life to that horrific voice was the easiest way for me to try and combat it. ‘Kill Me’ is what I feel in the parts of me I can ignore when life is normal.” Witt adds, “‘Kill Me’ adds another chapter to ‘Krewe De La Mort’ that continues to bring Louisiana folklore to life. Building upon the visual intensity we established with ‘P.O.T.H.,’ we worked closely with Dreamseeker Productions in further exploring elements of witchcraft and the occult while staying true to these Cajun tales.”
To check out the new song and striking visual, see below.

ENTER SHIKARI SHARE BIZARRE NEW VIDEO FOR “T.I.N.A”
If you’ve ever wondered what Enter Shikari would look like as walking, talking (and dancing) human hands, you’re in luck.
The band, in support of their latest LP Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible, have released a truly stunning clip for their track “T.I.N.A.”
To watch the video directed by Matthew Taylor, see below.

CROWN THE EMPIRE RELEASE INTERACTIVE MUSIC VIDEO FOR “RED PILLS”
Will you take the red pill or the blue pill? This is the question you must ask yourself in Crown The Empire’s new interactive music video directed by Sam Shapiro.
Set to their track aptly titled “Red Pills” off their 2019 release Sudden Sky, the band’s new clip leaves things in the viewers hands for once.
Elaborating on the video, the band shared, “We created an interactive experience where you, the viewer, will be taken down a wormhole to decide your own ending. Choose your destiny wisely...”
Check out the video below.

MAYDAY PARADE DEBUT STRIPPED-DOWN VERSION OF “I’M WITH YOU”
Leave it to Mayday Parade to release something sad around the holidays.
In collaboration with Decatur City Church in Decatur, Georgia, vocalist Derek Sanders and drummer Jake Bundrick have shared a new stripped-down version of their song “I’m With You.”
To check out the gloomy piano-led version, be sure to see below.

DARKO (EMMURE, CHELSEA GRIN) UNVEIL CHAOTIC NEW VIDEO FOR “PALE TONGUE”
While listeners patiently await the debut full-length release from Emmure drummer Josh Miller and Chelsea Grin vocalist Tom Barber, aka Darko, the duo have released a wild new music video.
Set to their blistering track “Pale Tongue,” the band’s new clip provides insane visuals that will leave you feeling like you hallucinated it.

WATCH ASKING ALEXANDRIA’S DANNY WARSNOP STAR IN NEW METALCORE COVER OF “YOU’RE A MEAN ONE, MR. GRINCH”
Who would have known a Dr. Seuss classic would go so well in the stylings of metalcore?
Showing that the classic Christmas thief himself Mr. Grinch knows a thing or two about mosh pits and breakdowns, YouTuber/musician Jared Dines has teamed up with Asking Alexandria’s Danny Worsnop for a hard-hitting cover of “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch.”
To check out the rippin’ rendition and accompanying music video, see below.

Review: ASUS GeForce GT 1030 Silent LP (Low Profiling): Pros & Cons Buying
Review: ASUS GeForce GT 1030 Silent LP (Low Profiling): Pros & Cons Buying - We do not live in the Stone Age, but in the modern world, except that the dirty paws of capitalism and huckster interfere with normal users of computer components. For their own benefit, they are ready to do anything to get as much broth as possible. This happened at the end of 2020 with the video card market. Then they came up with another chia coin hat, which was mined on hard drives and other volumetric drives, which also influenced their cost. Fortunately, this venture was not crowned with success and this coin was quickly blown away. What else awaits us? Probably, manufacturers of certain industries will still sponsor and come up with different ways to quickly take money from hamsters, wait and see. Introduction Just at the end of 2020, while there was no sign of trouble, I sold a system unit and a one-year-old Sapphire Radeon RX 570 Nitro + 4GB video card for only 8500r. Literally a couple of weeks have passed since I was left with a nose, I can't buy a normal video card, in general, I spat and bought an AMD Athlon 3000G for a while, hoping that the situation would improve in the summer, but no, I sat there until the fall until my patience ran out because the processor did not have enough power and after my previous AMD Ryzen 5 3600 it felt a lot. Therefore, when I had the opportunity to take a Ryzen 5 1600 from a friend at a good price, I decided not to miss this gift of fate. Only the question arose where to get a video card for displaying graphics on a monitor, I climbed on Avito there is a lot of ancient trash at inadequate prices, it is clear that the hucksters have clocked the price tag on their trash and willingly use the current situation on the video accelerator market. I came to the conclusion that it is easier to take a new video card than to play the lottery with the old hardware. In the day, I liked the ASUS GeForce GT 1030 Silent LP for 7899r., Of course, it was a pity to give so much money for a weak video card, but thanks to the available bonuses, I was able to strangle the toad of doubt and bought it. Only now the history of obtaining a video card has acquired an adventurous character. The store gave me a box in which the seal was opened. Opening it, I saw a video card in an antistatic bag, the edge of which was sealed with a factory seal. I ripped it off, twisted the video card in my hands, and examined everything, it is absolutely new. To celebrate, he hurried home and found at home that the box was not from this video card, and the different manufacturer on the box of video cards was made in China, and the video card itself was made in Vietnam. I wrote in support of dns, an employee of the SC told me to go to the store and change the video card to another. The store offered to order a video card and when a new one comes to me they will change it, but as it turned out, these video cards are no longer in the entire Siberian region, and then they said that for a guarantee the box was not needed and in case of a breakdown, you could hand over the video card without packaging. On reflection, I decided that a tit in my hand is better than a crane in the sky, I took the video card and went on my way. As it turned out, I did it right, because since that moment, and more than a month has passed, this model of the video card disappeared from sale and did not appear again. To what extent have we sunk even plugs at a horse price are in short supply) Specifications Main characteristicsManufacturer: ASUSGraphics card model: GT1030-SL-2G-BRKGPU GPU: GeForce GT 1030Process technology: 14 nmGPU frequency: 1506 MHz GPU Boost, 1266 MHzNumber of shader processors: 384 Video card memoryVideo memory: 2 GBVideo Memory Type: GDDR5Video memory bus: 64-bitVideo memory frequency: 6008 Mhz Monitor supportMaximum number of connected monitors: 2Maximum screen resolution: 4096 x 2160 @ 60Hz when connected to HDMI CoolingCooling of the video card: passive NutritionPower connector: noPower consumption: 30W CompatibilityLength: 174mmInterface: PCI Express 3.0 16x Packaging and equipment The video card is delivered in a cardboard box, inside it is wrapped in an antistatic bag covered with a seal and located in a cardboard niche, behind the video card in the compartment there are manuals and a low-profile bar. Equipment: • video card • low profile bar • manuals Appearance The video card is very compact, its length is only 174 mm. The entire inner surface is occupied by an aluminum radiator consisting of protruding fins. Four screws for fastening the radiator are visible on the outer surface of the PCB, and one of them has a seal. This means that you cannot disassemble this video card during the warranty period. The side plate contains digital connectors HDMI 2.0 and DVI-D. In the games we tested, the minimum difference between them was 30%, and the maximum was 64.6%. Moreover, the higher the resolution of the games, the more the difference increases slightly. If the GT1030 video card is used with Ryzen 5 1600 and AMD Athlon 3000G processors, then in the games under test, the difference in performance when tested at 1280x720 is noticeable only in World of Tanks enCore RT and is 10.5% in favor of the R5 1600 + GT1030 bundle, in other resolutions and games the difference is not tangible. Conclusion The tested video card turned out to be very decent; thanks to a good passive heatsink, it is quiet and well cooled. Who is faced with the choice of which GT1030 video card to buy, know that the most important selection criterion is the type of memory and you need to take it only with memory like the hero of the GDDR5 review. There are many options for the same money, built on DDR4 memory, and if you buy a video card based on this type of memory, it will be at least 50 percent worse in performance in games. Considering that this video chip is already frail, then -50% for the same money and it will be a great scam over the shoulder of inexperienced users. Advantages - pros: - high-quality passive cooling system - not heated - does not make noise - consumes little - memory type GDDR5 - chokes don't squeak Disadvantages - Minuses: - high price - became a deficit PS /: Funny sticker on the video card box. REVIEW: Good Charlotte Generation RX LP
Good Charlotte are back with a new album, Generation RX. Last time we received a new album from Good Charlotte we were waiting until 2016 after the band’s six-year hiatus. And it was a triumphant return. And personally I was glad to see them back, like most teens The Young & The Hopeless was one of my favourite albums, it still is. They were the band who taught us to Hold On all those years ago.
Tomorrow they release their seventh studio album; Generation RX. With a mere 9 tracks, the album starts with its namesake. A short 2 minutes, which slowly builds and and then Self Help kicks in. Now this sound takes you a bit by surprise but rather than it completely consuming the GC sound, it simply lifts it.
Shadow Boxer the second single is a much heavier sound with Joel’s screams, it’s filled with synth but still has those signature catchy guitar hooks. Next we have the first single Actual Pain, which is a lyrically deep, emotionally charged, empathetic Good Charlotte we know and love. Coming after the death of Lil Peep who was a good friend of the band, who sadly passed away last year.
Benii takes the lead on softer track Prayers, always a welcome sound. I adore Benji’s voice and it fits so perfectly with these heart wrenching, soul-searching kind of songs. This was definitely my favourite of these nine tracks. Its followed by Cold Song which starts with a solo piano, with Joel singing, then the guitar kicks in. This is the perfect compliment to Prayers, and it builds so well with that incredible guitar solo from Martin.
It’s then cranked back up to the synth-filled rock sound Good Charlotte are known for as we lead into Leech, which features the amazing Sam Carter, Architects. Next up we have Better Demons, which is a darker turn. It hits on the isolation the youth of today experience in our world where everything is shared online via social media.
California (The Way I Say I Love You) ends this 9 track journey. Its the little pick me up you need when you’re feeling low. And if there’s one thing Good Charlotte are for a lot of us, is that band that you listen to when things are hard, when you feel low, and they always pick you up.
Overall Generation RX is an incredible journey. You can tell the brothers have found a new chapter to start in their musical journey. But it still encapsulates what we all love about this band, hope.

Cheapest 4k graphics card
What is the best cheapest 4k graphics card? That's a question we get asked all the time. It can be hard to know what to buy, and it seems like there are always new cards popping up that seem better than before. Everyone wants to purchase the best card for their money because no other component impacts your gaming experience other than the graphics card, better performance, price, features, and efficiency are crucial. At a Glance:Best PickCheapest 4k Graphics Card Low Profile
1 MSI GAMING GeForce GT 710- GPU with a large heat sink beautiful Design - 2GB DDR3 video memory and a 64-bit memory interface - DVI-D Dual Link, VGA, and HDMI interfaces, with a core clock of 954 MHz - Dual-ball Bearing Fan - VR-friendly HDMI ports - Impressive AAA gamingCheck Price Any gaming PC's lifeblood is its graphics card, as they're in charge of turning all those zeroes and ones into beautiful pixels on your screen. While the "one-size-fits-all solution" is not available, we can help you separate in chosen graphics cards. Some people want the quickest graphics card, while others want the best value. What specification should an ideal Graphics have? This question might come to your mind. Right? Therefore, we have explained some important elements that you must need to consider before purchasing any budget graphic card. Quick Tips: Memory Of Graphics Card: For 1080p, a graphics card with 3GB or 4GB of RAM is sufficient; but, for 4K gaming and video viewing, a minimum of 8GB does require a seamless gaming experience. Rate Of Refreshment: If your display has a 3-digit refresh rate, you'll need a higher powerful card to get the most out of it. However, if your display's refresh rate is around 60Hz, it's pointless to spend more money on a powerful card that drives pixels faster than your monitor can handle. The Card's Size: What if you bought the greatest and cheapest graphics card you could find, only to discover it won't fit in your PC case? As a result, ensure sure you have enough place in your case for a graphics card. Examine the buying card's height, length, and thickness to verify if it will fit in your computer ITX or smallest ATX case. Power Supplies: Compared to ordinary graphics cards, 4K graphics cards use significantly more power, up to 250 watts in some cases. The problem is that most PCIe slots on our motherboard can only handle 75 watts of electricity. As a result, extra PCIe power connectors in six and eight-pin versions must install a 4K enabled card. Even with dual or triple port cards, some cards use these connectors. If your buying card does not have this port, you will need to purchase a separate adaptor to use SATA connectors for power. Noise And Cooling: A strong card necessitates a powerful cooling system. If you choose one of the cards from the list above, you can rest assured that it comes with high-quality cooling options to keep your GPU and Processor cool. However, because more cooling capabilities mean more noise, you must also consider this element. However, some of them usually remain calm until the processor puts them in a difficult circumstance. Budget: This list's graphics cards are all high-end among the most affordable 4K graphics cards available. However, some of them may be more expensive than others. For example, the GTX 2070 Ti is the cheapest Nvidia card, whereas the Rx 580 is the most inexpensive AMD card. Spending more money is pointless when a less expensive card can meet your demands without costing too much.
