If you look at the box that Ranboo dies to, it's already incredibly rusty and bloody with dried blood on the spikes and rust all over it. People have already died in that thing, but who? Did Showfall perhaps have another hero before Ranboo or was this just another piece of a death game?
Or it could just be design choice to add to the horror, most likely.

GL! RANBOO HEADCANON
Cool, so we all know how his mask is like- the way they implant the memories into him right? It’s also made up of wires and stuff, most likely directly connecting to the brain.
They basically can effect his consciousness, and how he perceives stuff (aka the slime turning into blood for a split second)
So the head canon I have is that GL! Ranboo has tics, since a lot of the time tics are cause by a neurological thing. And with all the wires, those could affect him in many ways.
Yes, the foundation and stuff would probably be careful to like- make sure it all works, but don’t forget, for a good while of it, he slowly gained his own memories and consciousness and stuff, only when he was about to be killed, as Ranboo said before, were memories being implanted back in.
But, the people behind all this shit probably aren’t the greatest as well, and could’ve had that accidental side effect. Mostly it would be things like small jolts making him move, though words could be affected, not as much as moving stuff though.
Anyways little headcanon haha

Can't stop thinking how brothers Ramboo, Charlie, and Sneeg are IRL. The way Charlie and Sneeg kept making fun of Ranboo throwing the towel over the laser? Absolutely an older brother move.
But then I can't stop thinking what if they were brothers in Genloss too? What if gl!Charlie and gl!Sneeg had to watch their little brother suffer under the control of Showfall with the little control they had for themselves?
Don't think about how gl!Charlie might have felt watching gl!Sneeg get reset, knowing that gl!Sneeg promised gl!Ranboo to their face that he would come back for them.
Don't think about how gl!Charlie never knew gl!Sneeg died.
Don't think about how gl!Ranboo might not have gotten to remember his brothers even in his last moments.

Just had a wild thought. What if the finale box was alive just like the wire monster. All of the electronics in the company are living. It’s one big hive mind. Once they have a corpse they can attach themself too they can come alive essentially. The box using Ranboo’s corpse to now prowl for the hives next victim

There's a chessboard in his dreams.
It doesn't show up often, but Ezran's dreams—or nightmares, he supposes, in this case—have always been reoccurring and strange. They're just more vivid and more violent, now that Aaravos is out. (Everything is worse now that Aaravos is out, now that Runaan is out, but Ezran doesn't blame his brother for either of them. He's not angry. Really.)
The chessboard isn't the one he grew up playing, coaxing his brother and dad and Claudia into games, the pieces painstakingly hand etched and with only the white ones painted. These ones are glossy, almost like glass, each piece having a perfect mirrored reflection of each other, like light and shadow.
And they're not knights or rooks either—but they are pawns.
The inside of the prison reflects the chess board, too, the glossy inside of a pearl even though it'd been smashed to pieces. It's what convinces him that this isn't real, that it's just a dream. (It can't be real. He won't let it be real.)
"Ah, King Ezran," Aaravos greets, seated in one chair behind the white set pieces. White always moves first—which makes sense. This game started centuries before Ezran was born. "How nice of you to join me."
Not that any of them have much of a choice, but Ezran takes a seat and grits his teeth. His crown always feels heavier here, even before he sees the way Aaravos picks up his pint-sized Callum and twirls him between his fingers.
"Are you and your dear brother fighting again?"
Yes, but—"Put him down," Ez growls out.
Aaravos raises a brow, but sets the game piece down on one of the white squares, next to a matching Rayla piece. "Not in the mood for games today, are you?" The Startouch elf steeples his fingers together, and nudges one of his frontline pieces forward across the board.
Then it's Ezran's turn, and he knows there's no point in delaying the inevitable, as he picks which piece to move forward.
The chessboard itself Ezran of the war maps he's been looking at lately, moving troops and people—sending his brother and their best friend off to dangerous locations, because they don't have a choice if they want to stop Aaravos and his corrupted Sun army. Ezran, as king, having to treat those he loves most like pawns.
"Your brother wouldn't sacrifice you for anything," Aaravos croons, once they're halfway through. Ezran's temple pounds, his figure of Aunt Amaya having already felled. His piece of Prince Karim is backed into a corner with nowhere to go; Aaravos has lost only small figures on his end—Opeli, Corvus, Barius—pieces he was never that interested in controlling in the first place. "How sad you can't say the same."
"Shut up!" Ezran snaps, because how dare anyone insinuate he doesn't love his brother? Because he does—no matter what, Ezran loves his brother—but he just doesn't love the way Callum does. His brother never does anything halfway; not magic or his fiery temper or his fiercely protective nature. He loves like an explosion, a super nova, a tidal wave.
Ezran has never loved like that. It's not in his nature. It's what makes him a good (miserable) king.
Ezran slams a piece down, not really looking, but knows in an instant he's made a mistake, because Aaravos grins, wide and sharp, like a cat about to eat a canary.
"Hm, not your best, little king," he says, and bumps a glossy monster-pawn up to where Callum lies. "Checkmate."
Ezran wakes up, clammy and hoarse, his throat tight and heart racing. Bait grunts from somewhere near his hip, the glow toad still asleep, and Ezran is careful not to touch him lest he wake him, and stares at the ceiling of his war tent instead.
He exhales, slowly, and gets out of bed to wash his face.
Tomorrow, he will be thirteen years old. He will give speeches at the crack of dawn and command troops and he and his brother, who's acting as one of his generals, will try and muddle through a conversation without arguing.
Ezran scrubs at his eyes and can't quite fight back the tears. But for tonight, in the privacy of the dark, he can be a little boy who's tired of losing.
He's so tired of losing.

theories for Generation Loss The Founders Cut!!
Starting with the diagrams for the Mask, Glasses and Hat in connection to FC and some of the new info we got :)))))
a few spoilers for FC changes!! especially for the last episode... so many important changes made damn
First, its pretty clear now that the Mall segments of episode 3 were staged by Hetch and/or Showfall. Between him saying that he was given control by the Founder and him manipulating lots of the elements of the show, this is definitely something purposeful.
The Mask is the thing that i feel confident in having an understanding in. Ranboo is never let free of control, and is always kept under it, but with various levels.
Red Light's on means complete control. Being able to do anything Hetch wants him to do and being 'in character'
Flashing means having some level of autonomy, but still in character (example: when they're at the tv asking what to do theyre not screaming and begging to escape, theyre trying to survive the cabin, not realising its not real)
No lights means complete autonomy, but the events of the story is very real to them. they can make decisions and react like its real but are still playing a role in the story. (In Episode 3, the lights are gone until the very end)
The Flashing in the finale shows that Ranboo is still in character but can also see the reality of the situation. Life or Death.
these three levels can be applied to the other characters as well. The carousel gang (Vinny, Niki, Ethan and Austin) were the third level of control. The situation was very real to them, and pleading with the audience to free them was for their real freedom.
Sneeg is different though. I believe he was under complete control the whole time, just like Ranboo was. They maintained character, when Ethan died and Austin was screaming. This is made so much more clear when Austin was yelling "Do you guys even care?!" and Sneeg says something like "Damn thats a lot of blood."
The Hat is different to The Glasses and The Mask. While Ranboo and Charlie have implants in their brains, The Hat is just some kind of interceptor for brainwaves. Sneeg doesn't have the implants the Hat does. I think different hats have different roles programmed into them? like the white hat is his Cabin character and the black mesh hat is for the Warehouse. When the two situations crossed (wearing the Cabin hat in the Warehouse), it messed up whatever brainwashing Sneeg had for the Warehouse and made him confused as to why he wasn't in the Cabin anymore. When he ran off, he could have potentially encountered something he wasn't supposed to see (prompting him to say "What kind of a place is this!?" but it could also be bcs its a Warehouse and he doesn't understand that in the moment)
OR Sneeg is a newer member of the cast. They didn't have the time to plant the electronics into his head, but Charlie and Ranboo have been there so much longer and have been more efficiently integrated into the system. Sneegs hats are temporary, and in the future (or if he rebels sooner) he'll get implants too.

if you're still doing them and it isn't too heavy, don't imagine the boys taking care of a partner whose grieving?
This one gets bumped up in priority for personal reasons, and it's for everyone.
Killer is kind of quiet, but very supportive. He doesn't have a lot to say-- death and loss are an everyday occurrence to him. He doesn't think much of it, but... he knows that his experiences are far from the norm, and can admit to himself that he'd be very upset if he lost anyone important to him. His glib tongue does him no favors here, so he just handles the physical aspects of it. Cuddles, providing comfort, doing the things you can't bring yourself to, ensuring that you eat and stay hydrated because you can't just wither away in your grief, and he won't let you. Dust is incredibly supportive and rarely leaves your side. He only leaves if you tell him to, or in moments where you need your privacy. He likes to be in constant physical contact with you, offer soft words of comfort, and will nuzzle away any tears that spill. His voice is often just barely above a whisper, and he makes sure you know you aren't alone, and that he won't go anywhere. Axe is about a hair's breadth away from papoosing you to make sure that you're always around him in case you start to feel like it's too much. He makes easy-to-eat food for when you don't have the energy to even move your jaw, smoothies for when you can't even do that. If you can't walk, he'll carry you, he'll help you bathe, he'll do just about everything that you can't or don't have the will to. Cross is a little awkward, but he makes it very clear that he's there for support at the drop of a hat. His experiences lead him to conclude that sometimes, you need to be on your own to process things, that you have to come to terms with things on your own, but that... you don't necessarily need to be alone to do this. He won't say much unless he feels like it needs saying (reassurances, comfort) and you get strong, quiet support from him. Baggs immediately sets you up for grief counseling. You aren't just going to sit on this and let it eat you, you are going to work through it and be alright. He's very insistent on it so you don't trap yourself in self-blame or agonizing over what you could have done to prevent it, and while he is firm, he is not unkind, and even when you're not actively sitting in his office talking about it, he's there to help and support you. There will be no sleepless nights, no terrible dreams, and he's there to help in other areas if you need it, too. Nightmare is around for support, but does not take away the pain. You need to feel to process it, and he might take the edge off if it becomes too much for you to bear... but he will not take the pain away completely, no matter how much you ask. It sucks, he knows it sucks, but you can't just... not process your grief. It hurts, sure, but you must feel it to come to terms with it. He might temporarily ease that if you're too sad to move or do anything, take it away for a little while so you don't have it weighing you down when you need to do something, but he won't ever take it away completely. He is, however, always there if you're having a bad time of it. He will listen and provide comfort, hold you close, murmur soft assurances, and stay with you when you really need someone there.
Dream gets a little overwhelmed with the sheer negativity, but he'll work through it to make sure you're okay. He encourages you to think of the good times you had, to hold onto those sweet memories rather than the fact that the person in them is gone. Those sparks of positivity make it easier for him to use them as a sort of foothold to inspire more positivity in you, to help ease the pain and feel better. The pain is part of the process, but it doesn't need to be a constant. He, like his brother, won't ever erase it completely, but he will help when it gets to be too much. Ink, shockingly, is really good with this sort of thing. His method is distraction, because it's really hard to be sad when you go somewhere you've always wanted to, or get to do that thing you never had time to. He encourages you to get it out however you need to, either by creating something to express your grief, to cry it out, to break down and be sad, or to do anything else, as long as it doesn't hurt you. He's very supportive, and while he doesn't feel that grief, that sadness, he understands that it's something people go through. He's uplifting and supportive, and always available to help. Blue is on it to do everything that you need to do, and is eerily good at knowing what that is, even if you don't verbalize it. He'll help you walk if you don't have the strength to, he'll hand feed you if you can't bring yourself to, help you bathe, whatever you need, he's there to help without any judgment. He's also really good with snuggles and support, and holds you very tightly when you break down. It'll be okay, he knows it'll be okay, and you aren't alone.
Error doesn't handle people crying well, but... you might be an exception. You get wrapped in blankets and pillows and plushies, and whatever you want, you get. He doesn't really say much when fetching things, and absolutely outsources to some of the others for "help, what do I do." He's not as... hands-on as some of the others, but if you need that hug or that cuddle, he'll give it without hesitation. You can sit and watch mindless television or AUs until you can't think, and he'll stay with you when you're asleep. He really doesn't like leaving you alone for any length of time, but if you need something or he needs to get something, he will. He's also moved everything to some unoccupied corner of some AU so that you are not in the anti-void, because that's really counterproductive.

This is the final one of the night, I've decided it. Part four. OK! Here are my thoughts about Generation Loss characters, more specifically:
PART FOUR: CHARLIE SLIMECICLE
Charlie's a really cool character to think about, because he pops up in every single episode as a different character. Most of my other rants tonight have been theories, but this is more of a headcanon about how I believe Charlie came to be in Genloss and Showfall Media, but I'll be backing it up with evidence and things so don't worry about it.
Let's get cracking!
So the common belief, from what I've seen on Tumblr, is that we all seem to think that GL!Charlie grew up in that cabin from Episode 1, because it all looks very childish. Especially the bedroom. We've got a kid bed, a photo of Slimecicle as a child, the ducky thing on the desk, a small chair, a tennis racket, the whole thing. Anyway, so if Slimecicle was raised like that, damn. He lived his whole life to be that part, the Slime Demon. That's rough, Showfall Media. Even for you. Raising a kid for that?
My thought is, and this is where the heavy headcannoning comes in, so there will be little to no evidence from this point forward.
Have you ever read The Maze Runner? Spoilers up ahead if you haven't, so... yeah. In the prequel book, The Fever Code, the main bad guys (the morality surrounding them is complicated), WICKED, houses all these kids in a top secret facility to try to figure out a cure to the almighty plague thingy. These kids are all immune, except for some (*sobs*), and they're all special. And they form their own little bonds and it's all nice and sweet except for the unimaginable horror zombies and child experimentation.
ANYWAY.
That's what I'm imagining for Genloss. All these kids are in one facility, and they're being raised to be performers. I think GL!Charlie's one of these kids who lives in the dorms. But early on, I believe he was seen as a talented actor, so he was taken to live in his own little room, the cabin, so he could form an attachment to it. That's his main role, I believe, although he circles around in Episode 2 and 3 because Showfall thinks it's funny to see him there, but he's always the Slime Demon in Episode 1. And they raised him just for that, so that's why he has so many personal effects in his cabin, like the photo and the sports equipment. He even has his own portrait.
Anyway, I'm imagining him to still interact with the other kids, at lunchtime and break and stuff, when they're not working. I'd like to think that's how he meets other Main Cast, like Ranboo and Sneeg, as well as others like Niki, Austin, Frank (when he was still alive), Ethan, and Vinesauce. So he knows them as he's going into the show, but once they put him under, he forgets them and has no moral qualms about what he's doing.
Continuing with the Maze-Runner-ish thing (this isn't an AU I swear), I think he might've been given away by his parents at some point. Because has the photo, it could very well be a headshot, like actors put on their CV, or it could be a school photo from when he was actually outside. I saw exactly One Video about the book It Was Just Another Day In America by Ryan David Ginsberg (I'm going to read it when I have it), and the idea of selling your kids because you have no other choice is painful and dystopian and exactly what I think would happen in this Generation Loss world. The outside world, the audience (not us), is failing and collapsing but everybody is buying buying buying and everything is getting very very expensive so some people, if they want their kid to live, if they want to live themselves, well, there's no other choice. Showfall Media conveniently swoops in with an offer and pressures them til they can't say no, and takes their kid for a hefty sum and hopes the parents won't recognise them when they end up dying on live TV.
Does this happen for GL!Ranboo? I don't know. I like this idea of him meeting GL!Charlie and the others in the Showfall dorms, but I also like the idea of them just going missing one day, picked up off the streets and flung into this whole mess. I don't know if that was confirmed by the pre-release short videos they put out, I can't tell anything from those other than a sense of "oh fuck", but yeah. For Charlie, I like this headcanon.
Maze Runner style.
If I were to substitute characters out (I'm doing this for fun now, it isn't relevant to the headcanon), I'd do it like this:
Charlie Slimecicle - Thomas. He's kept apart from them, but he still sees them. He's an outsider and he's particularly special.
Sneegsnag - Alby. He's the leader of them, he's dry and bored. He's not as serious as Alby, but he seems the most confident, so he's the leader.
Ranboo - Newt? I think so. He seems pretty timid when I think of him, but they're rather chill and definitely aren't a pushover when it comes to interacting with the other characters. I think Newt works because they also would be the one to help out Charlie (Thomas) when he first comes down.
Frank could be anyone, really. I have no idea of his character. Minho is a very core character, obviously, and Frank could definitely fit that. Happy, upbeat, childish, a strong bond with Sneeg which would carry on even after he stops talking (whether from psychological damage or actual death, I dunno).
That's it for the night, folks! I'll be posting more of these. If you're sick of me, I'm sorry, it's just my random thoughts at this point.
