more rambles, this time on Cassidy and Kelsey (and how neither of these kids are cis, but didn't really get a chance to explore that because WILLIAM FUCKING AFTON)

so to start, Cassidy:

has a trans older brother (Mike) and a transmasc "uncle" (Henry; uncle is in quotes because Technically Speaking Henry isn't his uncle biologically speaking)

dad is chill with that.

knows that being Very Not Cis is a thing you can be.

knows at least two other somewhat openly Not Cis kids (Gabi and Felix; transfem and genderqueer respectively).

Liz used to paint his nails you Cannot tell me that didn't cause some realizations for this kid.

similar point as above but Fredbear and O'Hare. just. Yeah.

had he gotten to actually grow up and discover more about gender? probably would've came out as nonbinary.

Kelsey:

older brother is a demiboy (had somewhat come out before Kel died)

older brother's best friend (and Kel's best friend's older brother) is transmasc, and rather open about that fact.

Naomi and Gabi had painted his nails once while he was visiting Freddy's and the gender euphoria was Intense. (had to wash it off before going home, though :()

hair is usually long enough to tie into two pigtails, and does so often.

basically did the Early 80's 6 Year Old equivalent of telling Cassidy "Your Dad And Uncles Fursonas Are GNC As FUCK /pos" and was really happy when Cass agreed with him.

came over to the Afton Household on occasion and would drag Cass into playing with Liz ("no particular reason" according to him).

always thought Gabi was really cool for the whole Being Somewhat Openly Transfem thing (wonder why)

as you can guess, very much would've realized he was transfem at some point had he lived.

also, another fun fact!! these guys are?? in a QPR kinda?? like they don't know the correct term for it, but they have said to the other ghosts before "If we had lived we probably would've become roommates at some point and chilled. Yeah we would've lived together as best friends and it would've been Awesome." Kel has also described them as the "Dynamic Duo" before, very enthusiastically. also, you'll note the (somewhat) minor detail from my past explaining what the actual games would theoretically look like in the rewrite where i mentioned that Cassidy and Kelsey went to the back room to confront William while holding hands. anyway yeah there's also That.
