Mark rubbed his eyes in the glare of the computer screen, a harsh contrast to the soft purple glow of the rest of the room. What had began as a fun online game of Overwatch with his friends Hendery, Winwin, and Haechan had melted down to a pot of frustration, hurt ego, and debuffs- largely thanks to Hendery. “Mark!” Hendery seethed over the microphone, his voice piercing Mark's ears. “What's wrong with your performance? Are you trying to grief our team?” Winwin’s voice followed. “Hendery, calm down. It's just a game.”

“If it was just a game,” Hendery raged back, “then why is it so real to life? You guys are allowing Mark to bring our team down on purpose! You're all just as bad as him!” Mark rolled his eyes. “I'm not trying to bring our team down, dude,” he spoke into the mouthpiece. “We've played for hours. I'm just tired-” “TIRED ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH!” Hendery cut in.

Mark took his headphones off as his friend continued to rant, ears burning from being enclosed for so long. His frown melted when he looked across at you, sleeping in the bed that was right next to the computer table. Usually, you and Mark played together, and you had lots of fun. Tonight, you had been too tired to join in and was content watching Mark play from the warmth of your duvet and mattress. That is, until you had fallen asleep. Mark reached over from his chair and tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear. He missed you, even though you were right next to him. He realised that he would much rather hop into bed and relax with you rather than get screamed at by his gaming partners. But the game had to be won. Sighing, he went back and put his headphones on.

Hendery was far from finished. “You know what, Lee?” he raged. “I'm really disappointed in you. I thought that you were a real friend. Looks like it took a game of Overwatch to make me realise the opposite.” Mark laughed. “Are the rest of you guys going to let him speak to me like that?” he said. He was met with silence. “See?” Hendery continued. “Everyone knows that we've been losing the past few rounds because of your conspiracy to take us down!” Mark was about to tell Hendery where to stick the so-called ‘conspiracy’, but then you shook the bed with a sudden jolt. The duvet creased as you stretched your arms. “Did I really fall asleep just then?” you yawned. “I'm so stupid!”

Mark only had to glance at you once to know where his priorities lay. “I've got to go,” he said. “You guys call on Taeyong or someone to win the game. We'll all feel better with each other in the morning. Goodnight.” Before waiting to hear what his friends had to say, he turned off the computer and monitor.

You lifted the duvet to let him in. “Was it a good game?” Mark encircled your waist in his arms, his face rested in the crook of your neck. “Doesn't matter. I'd much rather lie with you.”

Diamante Amarillo y espinela fuego (Basura de Sentinel Prime y mi oc Vela)

Bueno, vino a mi cabeza esta pareja después de pensar “Sentinel Prime no pudo ser un gran hijo de puta” (luego alguien me dira si lo es o no, pero quiero pensar que no y es redimible).

Asique luego, mejor dicho, ahora, que estoy oyendo mucho canciones de Steven Universe, viene una voz en mi cabeza que según seria Sentinel Prime que no para de decir “¡¿Dónde esta mi Spinel, Zeta?! ¡¿Donde esta MI ESPINELA?!”

En mi cabeza es así: Prima Prime es Diamante blanco, Sentinel Prime es Diamante Amarillo y Optimus Prime/Orion Pax es como una combinación de Diamante Rosa/Ros Cuarzo y Diamante Azul. Y posiblemente el Zeta Prime es algo como la REAL Diamante Amarillo

La historia (era 1) más o menos es así: 

Diamante Amarillo/Sentinel Prime tiene una Espinela antes de que “fuera una diamante de verdad” y Amarillo/Sentinel amaba su Espinela (interpreta amar como más gustes) al grado que cuando “dejo de ser una niña gema” y tomo sus responsabilidades como Diamante/Prime la llevo con el.  La Espinela era una espinela Fuego, de color naranjado, era una espinel de juegos, pero que sorprendió a Sentinel/Amarillo al poder aprender cosas que no estaban con lo que “su clase” deberia poder o no poder aprender/hacer. La Espinela era tan única entre las demás espinelas que Sentinel/amarillo creyó que merecía un nombre, (ACLARACIÓN: solo las gemas especiales y de alta clase tenían un nombre para distinguirlas de las otras gemas)

En ese tiempo, su hermano Diamante/Prime, Optimus Prime/Diamante Rosa (o Diamante Azul, según tus preferencias) se había embelesado por las bellezas que hay en la Tierra y aunque se negó a ayudarla (Su Espinel mostró otra de sus peculiaridades ante eso, la empatía con la tristeza de su hermano, cosa que por supuesto se sintió un poco mal y APLAUDIO!), oyó del objeto “Vela” una cosa que daba luz en lugares oscuros y creyó que ese era el mejor nombre de la vida. La espinela no le molesto el cambio de nombre, incluso un honor lo considero, aunque aun regaño a Sentinel por el trato frío a su hermano Diamante. “Vela” y Sentinel se apegaron tanto que donde sea que fuera el Prime/Diamante estaría sin dudar la espinela “Vela”.

Esto no le gusto nada a Prima Prime/Diamante Blanco. El creía que un apego a algo tan ... bajo no era bueno.  Pero todo se fue por la borda cuando... ¡LOS VIO BAILAR! pero no era un baile común, no era uno normal donde Sentinel/Amarillo dominaba, si no, uno donde los dos eran iguales donde se juntaban y separaban con una sonrisa complice... un baile de fusión. Insultante y hasta grotesco, Prima/Blanco los separo de inmediato (”¡¿QUE HACES CON LA LISIADA?! DFHSIDHK los mexicanos entenderán el mal chistes en mal momento ... lo siento). Sentinel se quejo ante acusaciones de Prime de que pensaba fusionarse con su espinel argumentando que eso era asqueroso, “Vela” no parecía estar en desacuerdo con un fuerte escalofrió y haciendo el simbolo diamante con sus manos esperando ordenes. (ACLARACIÓN: a la espinela Vela y a Sentinel Prime/Diamante Amarillo se les enseño para tener miedo a las ““incontrolables”” y ““peligrosas”” fusiones mixtas).

Entonces Prima se fue, pero no contento con esa afirmación para asegurarse de controlar a su hermano diamante, LE QUITO SU ESPINELA. La alejo de él mandándola con las espinelas cromo o Picotitas, espinelas de tipo armada, hechas para la diversión de Zeta Prime/ Diamante REAL amarillo, de los coliseos y la guerra. Y antes de que Sentinel fuera a preguntar (/reclamar) de su “Vela” a Prima, recibío un golpe más, un informe, un Cuarzo Azul había matado al pequeño Optimus Prima... 

Sentinel tardo en recueperarse y cuando lo hizo, fue donde su hermano Prima y exigío “Dame a mi Vela”, Prima lo vio confundido, pregunto Prima “¿Tu qué?”. Sentinel lo miro más enojado “Mi Vela, Prima, mi Espinala Fuego” exigió. “Oh, ¿era una espinela fuego?, creí que era una espinela Cromo, tu espinela es ahora de Zeta” respondió calmadamente Prima. Sentinel quedo horrorizado “Pero... Zeta acaba de mandar a todas sus espinelas a la Tierra para parar la rebelión”. Prima levanto los hombros “Bueno, te conseguiremos un nuevo espinela en la siguiente generación” dijo. Sentinel no lo oyó en su cabeza solo estaba TODAS LAS ESPINELAS. “��YO NO QUIERO NINGUNA OTRA ESPINELA! ¡QUIERO A MI VELA!” grito casi desgarrado, furioso mirando a Prima... “Sentinel Prime, Diamante. ¿Tu. Acabas. De. Gritarme?”  Después de eso, NADIE, volvío a gritarle a Prima / Diamante Blanco. Sentinel no volvio a tocar el tema nunca y para algunos que nunca estuvieran cercas de el dirían que lo había olvidado y solo sufría la perdida de su hermano Optimus Prime. Pero sus gemas más cercanas (Su zafiro, perla) sabían que el luto a la Tierra también venia por donde venía el nombre de su gema más adorada.

Mientras tanto, “Vela” fue aventada con las Espinelas de Zeta Prime, “Vela” tenía mucho miedo, pues la líder de espinelas, un de dos Espinelas Gahnitas, la Gahnita más oscura (Galvatron) se río de ella un rato y decidió que no la de exterminarían mientras aun diera gracias. Se hizo amiga una Hercynita verde y otro Gahnita de color más claro a violeta (Scrouge y Cyclonus respectivamente). Ella en los coliseos se le puso cual bufona, hacíendo mofa de todos y en ocasiones casi lastimada en su forma fisica, pero no hizo más que hacer reir y entretener a todas a las Espinelas y otras gemas INCLUSO al mismo Zeta Prime que disfrutaba más cuando casi destruian su forma fisica. Se volvío muy apresiada por las Espinelas guerreras, no iban a pelear por ella pero si un gruñido sutil para que la juguetona Espinel Fuego no la molestaran demás. En ese tiempo de caos monotono, “Vela” descubrio el triste destino del diamante Optimus Prime, lamento no estar con su Prime en ese momento para consolarlo y darle todo el apoyo y cariño que pudiera, su desanimo se noto para las demás espinelas, para Zeta, fue todo igual pero ... el Hercynita verde le pregunto, frente a todas las espinelas y muy directamente (la Gahnita violeta lo golpeo por su imprudencia), ella no siendo una gema cerrada explico de donde venía y quien era y dijo con orgullo el nombre de su diamante le dio Vela. Muchas espinelas se rieron, pero otras como las dos Gahnitas, el Hercynita y algunas más mostraron su apoyo y buen visto, mientras estuvieran en la lata (una zona donde guardaban a todas) ellos la llamaban “Vela”. Zeta jamás se entero de esto.

Cuando fueron enviadas a la tierra, la espinela Gahnita lider (Galvatron) a escondidas del lider de misión Agatha (Nova Prime, aqui no es prime...). Mando a el Gahnita violeta a destruir la forma física y encerrar para que se quedara en su forma gema (la buffearon?? se dice asi), pues no veía porque enviaban a una NO guerrera a la guerra.

Ella fue olvidada accidentalmente en una cueva por el Hercynita verde quela escondia para luego volver por ella... no volvió nunca.

Tardaría casi un siglo antes de ser encontrada. Por Rodimus, un Granate Mali (Hijo/creación de “Orion Pax” “un cuarzo azul” y “Megatron” un Magnetita Galdiador. Lideres de la rebelión), que exploraba una cueva que decían embrujada, creyó que era causa una gema, pero encontró la Espinel Fuego en un burbuja verde que no podía hacer explotar. (ACLARACIÓN: El viaje de Lost Light sucede, pero no viajan al rededor del multiverso, sino de la Tierra para recuperar la matriz, un afinador para la reparación de gemas corruptas, ya que Blanco/Prima se negó a ayudar, mucha gente cree que es un mito)  Cuando Cyclonus una Espinela Gahnita violeta vio lo que tenía Rodimus lo quiso tomar, pero en ese momento llego Tyrest (digamos que esto es similar a lo que pasa a la casi muerte de Tailgate, incluso el pequeño aquamarina casi muere, Tailgate es una aquamarina). Después de que se confirma que Tailgate, una gema que Cyclonus se había apegado, fue haber a la espinela fuego “Hola Violet...” sonrío la espinela fuego. Cyclonus la miro aun con sorpresa... “Voy ahora por Cyclonus”. “¡¿TE LLAMABAS VIOLET!?” (después de gritos. de Whirl sobre todo)

ACTUALIZACIÓN DE Sentinel Prime / Diamante Amarillo. Sentinel quería matar a Orion Pax/Cuarzo Azul y Megatron/Magnetita, no destruir la Tierra por mucho asco que tuviera de lo organico, el no la queria destruir porque su hermano Optimus gustaba de ella, (El no es tan despiadado como todos le dan credito) Pero Optimus/Orion/Cuarzo Azul le contó la verdad, primero tomo aire, conto hasta diez y le dio con su escudo eléctrico a Optimus hasta que se canso. Luego se fue. No podía ayudar a Optimus, Prima ya le había quitado mucho y si perdían, Primam le quitaría todo. El sequito de Sentinel Prime/Cuarzo central, era formado por; una Jasper (delgada, de era 2, Braistrom), dos jades blancos (Drift) uno más delgado que otro (Quark), dos Apatitas verdes que se mantienen fusionadas en una Apatita que curiosamente toma un color azul (Domimus y Minimus Ambus +Ultra Magnus), un zafiro (Rewind) y una  Padparadscha que había estado con el incluso antes del comienzo de era 2 (Personaje original: Insecto, a su Vela le gustaba). Megatron se molesto mucho y casi hace que su revolución se vaya al... Orion lo evito, entendía el temor de su hermano, Blanco/Prima no era el mejor.

Sin embargo controlo a Zeta lo mejor que pudo, pues Sentinel, en el fondo, quería que Orion/Optimus Ganara. Y vaya que lo hizo, Zeta, Prima y Sentinel fueron enjuiciados, pero la coperación del primero y el ultimo, les salvo (claro que Sentinel estaba MUY INDIGNADO pero cooperación al final) Prima fue encerrado sin perder la forma fisica, pero encerrado. (NOTA: como extra esto le paso al sequito de Sentinel: Quark murío las fibras de su gema estan siendo guardadas, Domimus murió, la nueva forma física de Minimus es la Agata grande azul... aunque su gema es verde pero la esconde. Los otros se acoplaron a la nueva vida)

So I am a massive dork who likes to create too many things for their own good, and I drew the Septic boys as gems from Steven Universe because the concept has been stuck in my head all week. It was kind of a rush job so lineart and coloring was sloppy but I really like how the designs came out! It’s always so much fun to make gems, and I think I adapted the boys’ designs well! ^-^ And now I’m wondering about Jack and Anti and fusions, but that’s enough for one night

Unnamed Steven Universe AU

Last year, I went into an AU head first without much planning. I want to scrap all of that and start again. It helps that I wasnt very far into the AU when I got stuck? But, eh... I want to start with my stars, the gems.

Logan, the Tanzinite, is a homeworld gem of high ranking in the Diamond courts. (Yes, my proportions are off, I'm really, reallllllly rusty.) He doesn't posses any weapons, but he does manage a control over water's physical form, ice. His gem is on his forehead. Forehead gems reflect intelligence, clarity in decision making, and calmness in tough situations. He is tall and thin, not meant for battle, more for court decisions and battle strategy than anything. Tanzanites are often court members to some extent, and they are strong and very rare.

Patton, the Amazonite, is a soldier gem created on a planet far outside of the Milky Way galaxy. His weapon is a bow and arrow. Since this gem race are known to have minor healing powers, Patton cannot stand to injury another directly. He doesn't have many powers aside from shapeshifting and small amounts of levitation. His gemstone somehow came out in the cut of a heart, smooth and shaped perfectly, and he was assigned to the Care of Cracked Gems. Left chest gems are often very empathetic and will be deeply saddened if anything happens to their friends. He is on the shorter side, but very stocky, made for battle.

Virgil, the Charoite, is the newest gem, coming from the Splinor Kindergarten. He is a gem of mixed use, being skinny but short, his main use would have been as a diplomat had he made it up to a Diamond's court. Back gemstones are secretive and mysterious, not wanting to get too close to others. His weapon is a scythe, which he only uses for self defense since he is not really a combat gem.

Roman, the Rubellite, is a soldier through and through. High ranking and very pretty, he has climbed to the top ranks to become a general in the Diamond armada. Powers for this gem are not well know, but Roman specifically holds powers that tend to help him in battle, like projection of clones and a gem glow that can give him temporary strength boosts at the cost of his gem cracking. (He is very often in the Care of Cracked Gems under Patton's loving hand.) His weapon is a sword and he is a direct attacker, wanting to face the world head on. Stomach gems are impulsive and strong willed, but care deeply for those they love.

Well, that's all my gems for now. I still have more to draw, like Deceit, Remy, and Picani, and they will come in time, along with a name for this AU.

The partially eclipsed, and inhabited, side of the planet.

Esax, a peninsula just off the rest of the continent inhabited by dragonborn, dragonkin and kind. Made up of two cities, Castora and Pollux.

Kyrn, a continent once home to humans, elves, orcs, etc. Since the Calamity, this land has been abandoned, as many fear it to be haunted, or cursed, for their transgressions.

The Barrage, a dense archipelago and shallow waters. It is extremely difficult to travel through, even the most seasoned of captains would hesitate - or downright refuse - to sail through the islands. Kyrn’s people had a lot of difficulty making it to Esax; many ships carrying several thousands of people did not survive the journey.

The Soundless, the infamous eclipsed wasteland. It is quarantined, and forbidden to travel to, even if it’s just to study. The land is feared, and given a wide berth. 

The Effete, a wide expanse of desert long under the mercy of the red dwarf’s heat. Salt and dunes are all anyone may find here, except for The Pillars, and the small village known as Io’s Harbor to the west.

The Pillars were built a long time ago to ensure safe passage through the desert; they are so tall, they can be seen from miles away. Though, few even venture out through the desert - the journey is long, and few even return.

Io’s Harbor is a fishing village, making its business trading north ocean fish to Esax. Krik is it’s neighbor, dealing with bigger fish.

The Lonely Wilds have only been traveled to a handful of times, thanks to the Effete. Vaguely mapped.

At nightfall, the Witch of Rhibyn will claim anyone who is out in the open air. Our teams are stuck in the open air, and need to find shelter. They have eight hours to reach safety.

Groups of four children follow a pre-set path. Along the way, they’ll take on some spectacular activities - there’s abseiling, white-water rafting, kayaks on the sea.

There are also some communication challenges, mental tasks, and sharp-shooting to be done.

There's an obvious inheritance from Boom Plant’s earlier shows Y Gemau Gwyllt and Prosiect Z; this series is made in a more COVID-friendly way as the teams don’t meet anyone indoors.

A second series has come out this autumn, where some of the team are eliminated on the journey. Like the idea, though the way it appears on screen can be a bit underwhelming.
