This set is of @jack-toons / @myfanartblogplusshippingtrash Oc Bex, @deetcore / @moleyakii Oc Giséle and @awe-ri / @chimeowrical Oc Tug. Bex and Giséle had to be in the same sketch set because they are a ship and they are such a cute couple! I hope I got their height difference pretty ok, idk if I made Giséle way too tiny lol. I love Tug! Timid characters come naturally to me and I really enjoyed drawing him!

I hope you all like these sketches! I have about 5 more to sketch so after I get further in my last commission I will do the next set!

Here is the 2nd wave of Gelfling OC sketches for the upcoming oc project! These were super fun to draw because so many strong personalities lol. I’m gonna continue sketching all the characters so I’m use to drawing them. Seeing all 10 characters so far is so exciting!

Meet my gelfling OC- Giséle!

About her:

Half Grottan and Half Sifa!

Giséle has been raised most of her life within the Sifan clan. She sails the Silver Sea with them and settles down on land when necessary. Every year/trine she spends a little more than half of it with the Sifa and the remainder in Grot

Her father is Sifan. Her mother Grottan. Both very much alive and have raised her to be proud of her roots

Her parents union wasn’t much of a scandal considering the Sifa are quite accepting of inter-clan relationships

Father is a fisherman and her mother is the daughter of a herding family, like most Grottan folk

She’s petite! Smaller than most gelfling, despite having those Sifan genes in her, she inherited her mothers stature

Got some nice assets to her though, if you know what I mean.. wink

She’s quite adventurous and sociable/bubbly, but a bit reckless since she has an adrenaline streak to her

Is always down for a good adventure! She doesn’t like a boring lifestyle and rather do things impulsively

Quite artistic! She prefers creating things using her hands and is skilled at it. Like carving things out of wood/working with clay/etc. (unlike Brea who opts to draw/paint)

She’s small but can pack a punch if you really try her

Giséle is a bit naive, trusting people too easily and leading to get hurt later

Unlike Deet, Nurlocs don’t like her

For that matter most animals don’t like her. She doesn’t understand why

Her flying/swimming game is strong

I love @lilac-city-skylines ‘s wonderful headcanon of the Sifa being competitive at shipbuilding. This is true in the sense that Giséle often participates in the activity. (Like I said before she’s quite handy in creating things with her bare hands)

Likes making clothing and often plays the role of a seamstress if not anything else. If you ever want to wear anything, Giséle’s the gelfling to do it

Absolutely loves spicy food

Giséle’s ideal type is anyone taller than her

She’s the type to fall in love at first sight, though it hasn’t happened yet, she often gets quite shy and dazed whenever someone manages to catch her eye

Prefers hearing stories than telling them

Illiterate but wants to learn how to read/write!

Wants to explore all of Thra but unfortunately her parents don’t allow her to visit other clans

An incident involving her younger brother took his life and thus her parents are fiercely protective of her

Of course Giséle loves her family, the sea and her caves but she doesn’t want a provincial life

So she leaves. Takes advantage of them returning to land after months at Sea to whisk away and follow wherever the wind takes her

Boom! What would Giséle do it one of her friends (I only know Bex so far I don’t know if she has any more) were in mortal danger?! What would the gelfling do?

Hoo boy we heading to angst(?) territory I see XD

(Though i do hate bullying my girl like so. I need to bully my other OCs later lol)

— But basically. I’m thinking it could be a scenario where they might be caught in a unexpected heat? Is it the Skesis lords? The Garthim? Other gelfling that have it out for them?

She doesn’t know.

All she knows is that she sees Bex about to get hurt/shot/stabbed/etc. from the corner of her eyes. (This is where her recklessness comes in) Without a second to spare she definitely lunges forward, using the power of her wings to get there faster, probably shoving him down on the ground, away from danger, or shielding him. Knowing how fiercely protective Giséle is of her loved ones, she’d take the hit.

For obvious purposes she wouldn’t die. SHES A LITTLE BEAN WHO WILL LIVE, ON GOD.

But nonetheless it pangs me imaging her sacrificing her safety for others 🥺

Giséle: *her nice demeanor out the window*

Giséle, cracking her knuckles: “So. I see you’ve chosen death-“

Thirsty Gelfling: crush my skull between your thighs ma’am-

Thirsty Gelfling: c’mon mama back it up on me 👅

Gelfling: So... are you busy?

Giséle, cuddling a much larger Bex on top of her as she runs her hands through his hair : Yeah... Sorry. I’ll be free later though!

Bex: ‘u w u’

Some random gelfling: So... why’s your hair that color? Aren’t you part Sifa and Grottan?

Giséle: Y-Yeah..?

Rando: Well. I find it strange. It’s black. It seems more Spriton to me. Are you sure your mother didn’t cheat on your father? *snicker*

Giséle: *visibly annoyed* My father has black hair you imbecile-

I saw somewhere that @rians-eboy-tears Juga, is the one to introduce gelflings to high heels???

Than I reckon Giséle would be absolutely FOND of the idea and adore the new shoe type! You know she’s a fashion enthusiast.

Giséle gets scolded for doing certain things recklessly or having a little bit of fun, she doesn’t destroy things of course, but does do things some roll their eyes at in annoyance. Despite never have putting anyone’s life or property in danger. Just innocent goofiness.

Considering this, the only times she gets in actual trouble is for docking some rude gelfling in the face for insulting her best friend, Bex.

Does she regret it? No. She’d do it again.

But nonetheless it would get her in trouble.
